Lost Girl Recap S1E3: Oh Kappa, My Kappa
The morning after with Dyson, and Bo wants a little more
when she finds him still alive. Dyson is more than happy to comply. Though both
keep trying to keep their distant, its clear that’s the last thing they really
want.
Enter in this week’s problem. A girl runs in the woods, and
comes upon a great big hole.
Kenzi finds Dyson in the bathroom, and can barely control her
excitement, and happiness for Bo. While trying to nettle Bo on Dyson’s good, Bo
finds Kenzi’s fliers advertising Bo’s detective skills. “Truth is for Pussies,”
Kenzi tells her, as she convinces Bo this is the best job for her talents.
The girls meet with Gina’s mother, the girl in the woods.
She disappeared suddenly, and giving up her sorority dreams just two days from
becoming reality. The school and police are unconcerned but her mother knows
different. Kenzi thinks the girl ran, but Bo wants to look into it, starting
with seeing what Dyson and the cops know.
Dyson tells Bo what he knows, which is nothing. Nothing in
the regular files, and nothing in the spooky files. He tells her he knows
nothing, but gives her a file that he says he knows nothing about. A ten year
old file in which the body was completely hollow. She asks him for another
favor.
Kenzi looks into Gina’s financials, nothing on the financials
or her cell phone. Bo comes bearing gifts, and Kenzi is mortified. Bo is going
undercover as security, but Kenzi is infiltrating the sorority. Donning a blonde
wig she does her death march.
Gina is still alive underground. Something swims around the
glowing green pool, its chained and its hungry. Lucky for Gina it can’t quite
reach her.
The head of security, Wayne, and Bo talk shop. She sees him
take down a missing person poster, they don’t like to scare the cattle, unless
the police notify them of the missing person. Which casts a big shadow on Dean
Peretti.
Kenzi meets with the Kappa girls, and they accept her with
open arms.
Bo introduces herself to Dean Peretti. Bo wants to
investigate the missing teen, but the Dean is adamant against it, and Bo is
forced to use her wiles on the Dean. The Dean tells her what a drunken frat boy
said about the girl running towards the woods. An assistant interrupts , and Bo
uses the pause to escape, which raises the Dean’s suspicions, and she calls
human resources.
Kenzi is stuck in Kappa hell, and an all pink room. Tori is
a little maniacal over the loss of Gina, but only because they lost out on
other girls.
Bo takes a walk in the woods, looking for clues, and finds
Gina’s necklace near a giant sink hole. Kenzi gives Bo her status update. “I’m
still alive, bitches be crazy.” She’s convinced that the sugary sweetness of
the Kappas equals pure evil.
Girls night in with the Kappas means shot gunning beers, and
Kenzi’s wig comes loose. She covers quickly making the suspicious Libra look
bad, but her cover is secure. Kenzi finally makes a break for it, to check out
the basement.
Bo breaks into the Dean’s office. Kenzi doesn’t have a
chance to find anything, before the Kappas find her. And they force her to
rejoin the party. Instead Kenzi joins Bo, who hasn’t found anything yet. Kenzi
tells Bo that Peretti is a Kappa, and the girls have to hide as the night patrol
comes around. Wayne does a long creeper sniff of Peretti’s scarf, and Bo finds
an envelope full of student ID numbers.
Wayne tells Bo about the break in at the Dean’s office, and
Peretti takes a word with Wayne. Bo takes some maps home. Kenzi delivers the student
IDs, and worries about what is going on in the Kappa basement.
Bo meets with Dyson. The dean is suspicious. The students
all disappeared. Bo tells him her theory, which raises a suspicion in Dyson. New
waitress, Kayla flirts with Dyson, and Bo wonders what his power is. He’s not
telling since it would give away his weaknesses, but he does ask her to check
in with him. Before she leaves he supercharges her with a kiss, which raises
Trick’s hackles. Dyson isn’t being objective where Bo is concerned, and warns
him off. No emotional attachments for the sake of the Light Fae. Trick tells
him to end it.
Bo and Kenzi formulate a plan of attack, but Dean Peretti
oversees their meeting.
Kayla takes another shot at Dyson.
Bo’s plan hits a snag. Kenzi is forced into the basement.
She tries to back out, but her concerns are for nothing. It’s just a party, and
there’s more hugging. Kenzi tells Bo it isn’t the Kappas, and as Bo heads to interrogate
the Dean, she runs into Wayne and he tazes her.
Dyson watches the clock, and gets a panicked call from
Kenzi. He smells death at the Dean’s door, and they find the Dean’s body.
Bo awakens in the pit, chained up. Wayne is behind the
missing girls. He’s been taking girls to his fae, and drinking his “water” that
restores his vitality. He’s been doing it for since 42, and he’d do it for
nothing except seeing the girls suffer. Wayne rings the dinner bell, and Bo
struggles out of her bonds to save herself and Gina before they’re gobbled up.
Dyson and Kenzi look for Bo in the woods, and Dyson strips
down to search for her better. Turns out Dyson is of the wolfy variety as he
sheds his skin and slips into some fur. Bo fights the fae, and Kenzi looks for
Dyson. Dyson stalks Wayne. Just as the teapot headed sucker gains the upper
hand Dyson knocks off his top. Bo asks Dyson about his lack of clothes and
Kenzi wants to gleefully tell her why.
Back home, Kenzi finally gives Mr. Teapot head a name. It’s
a Kappa fae. Wayne is going to take the fall for the crimes, and Gina will have
her mind wiped with fae magic. And finally Kenzi talks to Bo about Dyson’s
wolfy side, and Bo finally admits how she feels about Dyson. She goes to see
Dyson, and finds him with his hands full of Kayla. Bo plays tough, but she’s
obviously crushed by his set-up. And they clear the air, much to Dyson’s
dismay, which doesn’t seem to make Trick as pleased as it should have.
