True Blood Recap: First Three Minutes of Season Four

If you have HBOGo you can catch the first three minutes of Season Four, as if waiting wasn't hard enough without the tease!

The fairies are in Fairyland. Out of a bright light Sookie and Claudine appear. Sookie's nauseas from the leap. Claudine tells the others to continue as they were, which leads Sookie to ask if Claudine is the Queen. She's not, she's Sookie's Fairy God Mother. It's Claudine's job to look after Sookie, which Sookie tells her she kinda sucks at, and I have to agree.

Sookie sees Barry the Bellboy, whose also just arrived. And Barry also has a fairy god mother, whose a boy, Lloyd. Claudine and Lloyd leave to get drinks, and Sookie and Barry are offered light fruits, but Sookie refrains from eating hers, as she sees everyone else lost in its deliciousness.

She has a flashback from her childhood, and sees someone who looks like her granddaddy Earl. It is her granddaddy, he says he saw her last week, but it was twenty years ago...

Twilight's Peter Facinelli: Alex's Lemonade Stand Charity Event

Twilight's Peter Facinelli held a charity event called Alex's Lemonade Stand on May 29, 2011. The charity is for children with childhood cancer and Peter has been traveling all over the U.S. promoting it by taking photos and signing autographs for Twilight fans and Showtime's Nurse Jackie fans. Each photo with him is $40 and each autograph is $25 and $10 for each additional person in the photo. The event was held at The Block in Orange, CA. from 11-5pm, so of course since I am a huge fan of both shows I jumped at the chance to meet him for the very first time in person. Peter arrived on time and of course looking awesome in a black leather jacket, white t-shirt and jeans. There weren't as many fans as I expected there to be, which wasn't good at all for Peter's charity. I would say a couple hundred fans showed up, more would have come but I suppose they did not have the money to donate to his charity.

When I got up there to the stage to meet Peter, he was so gracious and very kind. I only had a 4x6 photo of him to sign and he asked where I got it. I was a little embarrased and laughed and I told him I got it online and had it printed up, but that was the maximum size it could be printed or else it would be grainy. He bent down and picked up an 8x10 glossy of himself and says "here ya go, I'll sign this one and the other one too if you like." Wow, what an awesome guy! I was so excited because not only did I get an 5x7 photo of the two of us together, he signed it after they printed it up, Peter gave me an 8x10 signed glossy (freebie) of him and he also signed my 4x6 picture which were all later framed of course. Oh and his publicist didn't want anyone to take photos with their own camera but he allowed my cousin Jasmine to take our photo with my camera as well. Yup he TOLD the publicist it was cool, and he still kept blocking Jasmine's shot. Good thing I set my camera on continuous shoot mode so it could take more than one picture at a time. So yah, we got one shot out of maybe four that she took. Frakkin' publicists, I mean I had already paid $65 for his charity so why wasn't I entitled to have one of my own? I wanted a record of it to enlarge, make copies, post on Facebook or what not. Shoot its free publicity for Peter if you ask me, right?

My cousin Jasmine on the other hand wanted to take more than one photo with Peter, so she got one solo, one with her daughter Mariah and Peter, then another one with Mariah solo. Peter signed all of those as well as the photo of his beautiful wife and three girls I had gaven her, and he also gave her an 8x10 glossy and signed it just like he did for me. So yah, she spent a pretty penny for his charity and not to mention got a good tax right off as well.

The whole time this event was going on, I was taking pictures and shooting video footage. This seemed to annoy Peter's publicist because he kept blocking my shots, but if you know me, I move around quite a bit so I got my photos haha... I'm guessing Peter didn't mind because he even smiled in a few of them.

Peter took a short break but when he came back to take more photos with his fans, a huge group of people surrounded the left side of the stage taking pictures with their own cameras and his publicist told him that was it. WOW....what a way to end it when there were still people coming to meet him. They finished about 2 hours earlier and while I was still there putting my camera equipment away, some girls arrived and were very upset that they had just missed him. The camera crew said it was because there wasn't enough people there, the turn out wasn't that great so they ended it early. I say it was because they didn't like the fact people were photographing him without paying the donation fee. But as nice as Peter is, he did pose with a few younger fans whose friends took their pictures and quickly left. If it were up to Peter I am sure he would have loved to stay the entire duration and please his fans with his presence. I had a ball oogling him with my zoom lens, as you can see from the photos I've attached haha. I look forward to watching Peter Facinelli on the big screen when "Breaking Dawn I" opens nationwide Novemner 18, 2011. Hope you to see you all there as well!

If you'd like to check out some of the video footage I took check these out at this links, thanks for watching!

In Review: Something Deadly This Way Comes by Kim Harrison

Released: 5/24/2011                 256 Pages
Publisher: HarperCollins
Format: Hard Cover
ISBN: 978-0061718199

Madison is back again in her third outing as a Dark Time Keeper, with her reaper team of Nakita and Barnabas and her boyfriend Josh. Some things remain the same: her fighting the seraphs and the light reapers to give true choice a chance, her being dead and searching for her body, and of course the danger of breaking curfew.

Since her death she may be in charge of the dark reapers, but really they aren’t the bad guys, and being good isn’t without its consequences. She’s working hard to change a system no one else cares to change, and she’s having to fight against her own fate to do it. And when she finally locates her body, whole new dilemmas pop up, like what it means to take it all back. There are no reset buttons in real life, and Madison is quickly learning that sometimes even with the best intentions things and people get “ruined” in the process.

Again the story centers on one reap and potential death of a soul, that can make all the difference and show that the reaper system is truly broken. Alliances are tested further, and a sad goodbye takes place. It may be for the better, to further the story, but it doesn’t mean I have to like it. Kim Harrison is good at giving us what we need, but may not want at the time. I only hope that we get more out of this departure than we did out of Kisten’s death in her Hollows series. Madison is excelling at mastering her powers, even if she’s banking more on luck than skill at the moment, but atleast she’s learning and new reapers are introduced.

The pace at which the story is accelerating is amazing, especially in a genre that gets bogged down with the teenaged angst. And the character growth is phenomenal. I loved the debate on whether or not the angels had souls, if only for the interaction between Madison,Barnabas and Nakita. And finally, the reason that Barnabas fell from Earth is talked about, barely more than in passing, but satisfactory none the less.

On the other hand, Josh, the whole perfect boyfriend is lost on me, especially when there are so many other characters whom are more interesting to me than he is. Maybe its because he’s too normal, maybe its because Madison is struggling so hard to be “normal.” I’m not sure, but I feel like he didn’t really have anything to do here except provide Madison with food and a cover for her dad.

Some big questions are answered, and some bigger ones are posed. Ms. Harrison has again weaved her magic and captivated, building a complex story of auras and timelines, fat and choice but making all the information thrown at you easy to digest and enjoyable.  It leaves the series in the perfect position for another novel, which seems to be the biggest problem. It’s billed as a trilogy at the moment, and as such it feels wholly incomplete, unless there is another jaunt into Madison's world even if she is not at the helm. A wonderful read, but it doesn’t wrap up the series.

True Blood Releases New Posters

The posters for season 4 have been released, and they make waiting suck just a little bit more. The sexy cast is in Red, White and Black with the tagline "Show your true colors." The new season starts sunday, June 26 at 9/8c, on HBO

Not quite sure about the pair-ups. Jason, Pam and Jessica shrouded in black. Lafayette, Tara, and Sam bathed in white. And Sookie, Bill, Eric, and Alcide awash in red. We know this season is the season of the witch, but they are distinctly missing from these shots, but its still sure to be a fantastic season.

My Taylor Lautner Experice At Jimmy Kimmy Live!

It was about 1am in the morning when I decided to check who the guests were for the Jimmy Kimmel Live show in the next few days. It was an even better surprise to find that Taylor Lautner of "The Twilight Saga" fame was making an appearance. I immediately called my cousin aka bestie Jasmine to see if she could come with, but much to OUR disappointment she had to work. I don't usually like to go to events by myself so I asked my 19 year old daughter because after all she is team Jacob, haha. She had just made me a gramma so she declined as well. Off subject, but any chance I can plug being proud of my daughter I will. She says "Mom, I'm a mother now and Layla (her baby) comes first." That is how proud I felt, 'cause she has learned to sacrifice her own needs for the needs of others. I think the word i'm looking for is mature. Ok back to Taylor now, haha.

I just decided I would go by myself and told my daughter I would take some photos for her and even try and get her an autograph. I know Taylor's a young kid and I'm not in the least bit hot for him, but just the fact that he is in Twilight makes me excited. Yes I love ALL that is Twilight! If you have been following me in this blog, you also know that I had met Robert Pattinson, and saw Jackson Rathbone and Ashley Greene in person as well. So yes I was in for another long wait as all these events I attend are long and tedious. I arrive in Hollywood early enough and get in the autograph line that had maybe 7 or 8 people ahead of me. I had just found out about Taylor's appearance this morning so I had an inkling that there wouldn't be that many people there anyway. Since I was by myself, I thought why not try and make some friends. Yes they were about half my age but they didn't know it until I revealed it. They were quite surprised, especially the pair of "gay boys." (They told me to call them that!) They had gotten there an hour before me. Its funny because I told him I still remember him from the Robert Pattinson appearance and I laughed as I told him the story. I told him that he demanded that me and Jasmine get to the back and behind the barricade because he had been there since 5am. Jasmine and I had just left the green room as VIP but we still wanted our photo op and autograph from Rob. The gay boy was so embarrassed about the way he spoke to me so he quickly apologized. I just laughed and told him not to worry about it, shoot I wouldn't want people cutting in front of me and taking my photo and autograph ops either. That whole day was spent sharing our Twilight cast encounters. It was fun and even made friends with one of the paprazzi, and before I knew it was about that time.

Word got out that Taylor Lautner was going to be here, I'd say a couple hundred fans including mega paparazzi had showed up towards the end of the day. Kimmel's security had put up the barricade and it was "on" as everyone tried to get front row. Me and my new found friends stuck by each other and made sure it was us that was standing front row. Evan, one of the "gay boys" told me that he'd make sure I'd get my photo op with Taylor to make up for not getting one with Rob, haha. How sweet and protective he was of me, awesome huh? I said hello to security, made sure they knew I was waiting there in line. I kind of asked one of them to put me on the VIP list since my old high school friend didn't return my text earlier this morning, and plus it was very short notice. It was a crap shoot whether or not I'd be let into the green room or not. Nonetheless, security said it was a no-go and I said oh well, at least I'm in a good spot for the photo and autograph op which is why I went down here to begin with. Taylor definitely had to be on my wall of fame.

I know it was nearing Taylor's entrance into the back alley of Kimmel's building because I watched security as they communicated with their wireless gizmos on their wrists. Yep I was right because next thing you know Taylor walked through the gate and the screaming ended as soon as it began. He just looked back at us and waved, wearing a cool white t-shirt, jeans and some designer sunglasses. He walked in so quickly I couldn't get my camera lens to focus. But you can bet the paparazzi behind me with the $10,000 camera got his shot. And he did damnit! They were awesome photos and I am sure he would make a bundle for those too. I had been shopping around for a camera, ordered one and returned it because it just wasn't right for me, plus the idiot who sold it to me sent me the wrong lenses. Big fiasco that involved my bank getting my money back to me. So yah, I didn't have my pro-dslr camera today so I had to endure using this $200 camera that I bought just for ocassional purposes.

Next thing you know the talent coordinator comes out and the crew start setting up outside about 50 feet from where we were barricaded. Then she talked to security and they come over to us and they have to choose who they want for a segment they want on television involving Taylor and his fans. They all know me and plus I yell out that I have been waiting nine hours out here and they choose me, "the gay boys" and some others that were in the front row already. Yay, I was going to be on tv again! It was freezing cold and we were all shivering, teeth chattering and we didn't care because we were going to meet Taylor. I guessed this segment would air before his onstage appearance, because they shot him with us fans as he took pictures with us and signed posters and magazines. He had changed into a designer dark blue suit and look very nice. After taking a photo with a fan he would always say "awesome," haha.

I video recorded the whole thing and it all took but three minutes, which I had posted on YouTube later that night. Did I ever get my photo op with Taylor? Yup I sure did, as you can see I posted it in this blog. Cute huh? I got a lot of flak after I posted it on Facebook too, everyone telling me what a cute couple we made and when was the wedding etc.... Wow, he is my daughter's age....so yah I told everyone I was not hot for him like that! Since my camera was used to record the event, I had Evan take my picture. I told him he better email me that picture tonight as soon as he got home. He did and I was a happy camper. Not only did I set out to Hollywood by myself, but I made some friends and got some very good tips from paparazzi. Hopefully by my next event I would have my pro-dslr camera and my chances for these very important photos and video would be to my advantage.

Oh and one more thing, lucky thing I was NOT in the green room as VIP because the segment was recorded before the show started and Taylor left after his appearance onstage, escaped not through the front but instead of the back entrance like most do. I would definitely have lost my photo and autograph ops if I were inside. Yes God favored me today, well most days he does but especially this day. I left feeling satisfied with two autographs, one for me and one for my daughter and a head to head photo shot of me and Taylor Lautner aka "Jacob Black" himself.

If you'd like to check out my video go to this link, thanks for watching!

Pirates of the Carribean: On Stranger Tides

Captain Jack Sparrow is back for the next delightful installment in Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. Right from the start Jack is back to his old antics, quickly he's up to his neck in trouble. The king wants the fountain of youth, which just happens to be the last thing that we saw Jack going after.

But of course he's in need of a boat, and it just so happens that someone who claims to be Jack is looking for a crew. Jack has all the luck doesn't he? Soon he finds that its not only a former love, the beautiful Angelica, who just happens to be the daughter of the feared Pirate Blackbeard, who is also in search of the fountain of youth.

The delightful Balbosa also returns joining in on the merry quest for the fountain. And then there are mermaids, Disney or no, Little Mermaid these are not. Not just the beautiful beings that lured sailors to their death, but these things are wickedly vicious!

Although missing the handsome Will Turner and Elizabeth Swan from the previous three, this one fares far better than the third installment in my opinion. Jack and Balbossa play off each other beautifully. I'd have liked to see more scenes with Blackbeard, but not if it meant more with Angelica.

And for the complaints. The Spanish. They weren't really all that necessary, but they didn't distract either, so really no harm. On the otherhand the 3-D was really unnecessary. In this movie it wasn't really utilized, and therefore the price increase for the 3-D ticket was such a waste. I'm not a huge fan of 3-D, and when I'm forced to watch a movie in the format because it isn't offered in the 2-D format makes me just a little angry.

Overall, On Stranger Tides actually makes me excited for another Pirates flick, if the next is as fun as this one was.

Twilight's "Jackson Rathbone & Ashely Greene"

This would be my first time attending a 100 Monkeys concert on May 21, 2011 at the El Rey Theatre in Los, Angeles. I am not a fan of the group per say but I am a huge Twilight fan so if Jackson Rathebone aka Jasper Cullen were performing then I would certainly be there. There would also be a likely chance that I might also see the other "Cullens" as well. There have been rumors mulling around that Jackson was dating Ashley Greene, and Paul McDonald, former American Idol contestant, was dating Nikki Reed. So yes most likely if I didn't see them at the concert then I most definitely would at the after party at Angels & Kings in Hollywood. Jackson Rathbone facebooked a mass invite that whoever went to the concert would be invited to the after party, so of course I jumped at the chance.

The music for the opening acts were not that great, so my cousin Jasmine and I waited patiently until they were done. The concert was standing room only with seats to the side of the theatre but of course as soon as we rushed in we headed towards the front of the stage. There were teenagers already lined up across the stage and I thought, just great. But being second row wasn't all that bad either 'cause I was wearing 5 inch platform heels. After the second opening act my feet were killing me and so decided to take them off, good thing I have a zoom lens on my camera. I just could not believe sitting in front of me was a woman in a wheelchair though. Shouldn't they put handicapped people in a designated area so they don't get hurt from mashing or what not? Well needless to say she remained there all night putting a damper on myself and some of the other fans trying to get closer to the stage.

Jackson finally came onstage and immediately the girls started screaming! Me, I just wanted to video record some songs and take lots of photos so it was very annoying hearing the screams, especially when I played back the video. People who watched my YouTube videos even commented on it as well. I cannot help that and certainly cannot tell the teenage girls to shut up either. I surprisingly enjoyed Jackson's performance. He was energetic, goofy, playful and very animated. Not a boring performance and but most likely would not go again because of the screaming teens and opening acts.

My cousin Jasmine and I overheard while we were standing in line that the venue for the after party was a bar and not very big. We decided we were going to leave the concert early to get in so we could meet Jackson and the other "Cullens" if they decided to show up. Kind of wish we hadn't done that though because later that evening Paul Mcdonald sang a few songs and yes Nikki Reed was escorted to the front of the stage, security in hand, and swooned as her boyfriend and soon to be fiance sang to her. I say 'sang' to her because he barely took his eyes off her I was told as we sat waiting for them at Angels & Kings bar. Man I could just kick myself for that decision, oh well. Not only that, Ashley did make an appearance to the concert and took a few photos with some of the fans that were sitting in the seats to the side and standing in the back.

Yah, my cousin and I missed out so we were hoping we could meet them at the after party if they decided to show up. It was barely midnight when Jasmine saw Jackson in the front entry way but disappeared as soon as he appeared, so we assumed he left because it was so crowded. Few minutes go by and we hear some screaming, and people hovering around one of the booths. Yes Jackson was inside with the band so I quickly took my camera out and headed in that direction. While I stood in an unofficial line, I could hear one of the girls say, "I think that's Ashley", and I said "Are you sure?" Sure enough as I zoomed in on her with my camera I could see her sitting very close next to Jackson and they were talking in each other's ears and I even saw them kiss once or twice! Wow, I was amazed and shocked because I did not even know that this brother and sister onscreen act was actually dating in real life. Did I get my video footage and photos?? Well yes I did but not without almost getting thrown out because of it. I was not told we were not allowed to take pictures and video of Jackson there. I even told the manish woman blocking all my shots that if it was not published anywhere in the invite or anywhere in the bar that I was allowed to take my photos and video. She actually told ME that the flash was annoying them that's why I was not allowed to photograph or record them. After a few minutes of us going back and forth and me sneaking a few shots, she alerted security and I quickly hid in the men's restroom. The women's restroom had a long line to timbuktu as is always the case and I had to use the bathroom pretty badly anyway.

It was nearing closing time and my cousin and I still had not met Jackson or Ashley, and Nikki did not show up with Paul to the after party. Security was yelling at us to get out and the manish woman told us to leave as well. She said only the last remaining people in line for an autograph were allowed to stay. Wow, I am not going to meet Jackson or Ashley?? I was livid! I got a couple shots of them and only 26 seconds on video, but you could barely see Ashley, a girl sitting beside her blocked my camera with her hand and told me the same thing about my flash, you can hear us on the video I posted on Youtube which by the way is doing quite well. I suppose they thought I was paparazzi because I wasn't using a small pocket-sized camera. Oh well, I got one awesome close up shot of the two of them, almost kissing but not quite. Now that would have been my money shot right there, but no dice. Next time I won't miss that shot, you can count on that miss manish woman!

Supernatural Recap: The Man Who Knew Too Much

Sam is running from the police, he hides and they search. He goes into a bar, but they’re closed he asks the girl to give him one minute. She asks his name and he tells her that he can’t remember. He says that the last thing he remembers is that he woke up on a park bench with a cop shining his flashlight in his face, and he knocked him out. The girl tells him that he should just let the quacks figure it out, but Sam says that he feels like he’s running out of time.  He picks up a Lovecraft book, “Haunter of the Dark” and gets flashes of memories. The girl insists on seeing a doctor, but Sam asks for a computer and looks up the hotel he saw in his flashback, its close by. She drives him to it, he’s piqued her interest.

He gets a feeling which room he’d pick, the one with the best escape route. He uses her credit card to pop the lock to the room, and the walls in the room are covered with clippings its “very beautiful mind and seven.” They find a stash of fake ids, but doesn’t bring anything back. He sees a clipping of Eleanor’s missing persons, and collapses.

Bobby, Dean and Sam are looking for Eleanor. They find her but she’s dying, and now Castiel and Crowley have all they need to crack open purgatory. She dies, and Cas tells him that he’s sorry that it happened, that Crowley got carried away. Cas again begs that they sit this one out so that he can stop Raphael. Dean refuses, and Cas promises to save Sam when this is all done. He touches Sam’s temple, and Sam wakes back up.

He finally knows his name, but not much else, except Bobby’s name. He finds Bobby’s address and sets out to find him. The girl says that this is her stop, and as he finds his car someone shoots at him, he protects the girl, and looks for the shooter. It’s him.

Dean sits over a sleeping Sam. Bobby tries to forge ahead, but Dean is having a little trouble pulling it together, just as Cas intended. Bobby and Dean take a shot.

Sam smells whisky, but the girl doesn’t. They forge ahead towards Bobby.

Dean shines a light in Sam’s eyes, and it instantly goes from night to day. The girl says that its always been day, and she tries to make a break for it, but Sam tells her to get in the car. He looks in the trunk and sees a cache of weapons. Taking out a shotgun he goes looking for what he heard in the woods, which happens to be himself, lying wait with a gun. His other self disarms him, and says howdy. His other self seems to know a lot more. He tells amnesia Sam what’s happening. Turns out its soulless Sam, and he wants to captain the boat for awhile. He says that someone needs to take charge before its too late, and opens fire on amnesia Sam. Amnesia Sam tricks soulless Sam, and shoots him, and absorbs him. He walks back to the car and the girl, telling her that he remembers her, and she doesn’t seem surprised.

He shot her when he was soulless. She was held hostage by one of the monsters, and he shot her to take away his leverage.

Bobby brings in Balthazar. He was having second thoughts about helping them.  He brings an address to them, where Cas and Crowley plan to open Purgatory, but then he’s out. He’s stuck his neck out far enough.

Crowley gives Cas the blood mix, virgin and monster. Cas tells Crowley that he’s renegotiating his terms. Crowley gets nothing, and gives him the option of fleeing or dying. Crowley flees.

Sam makes it to Bobby’s but its different. All candle light and creepy. He finds another version of himself. He asks which version he is, its Hell Sam.

Bobby and Dean pack and prepare. Dean leaves the address with Sam, begging him to come back.

Sam knows that he’s been at Bobby’s the whole time, when Hell Sam asks how he knows he says that he’s been smelling Old Spice and Whiskey the whole time, but the only way out is to know what Hell Sam knows. Hell Sam begs him not to do this, but Amnesia Sam is bent on getting back, unwilling to leave Dean alone out there. Hell Sam refuses to fight him, and wishes him luck as Amnesia Sam prepares to remember everything.

Cas summons Balthazar telling him that they have a Judas in their midst, that Dean is on the way. Cas sends him to find the traitor, but that he’ll deal with Dean himself. He’s alone as he prepares to do what he thinks is right, and he doesn’t understand it. Balthazar tells him that he always has him, and Cas flashes behind him, and shanks him with an angel blade.

Bobby and Dean prepare to storm the fort. As something approaches, causing the puddles to vibrate “T-Rex maybe?” Bobby and Dean make a run for it, as demons roll in. Crowley’s come in with a reinforcement, Raphael, in a new form to renegotiate his contract terms with Cas.
Raphael says that if anyone is to be the new god it will be him. Cas gives Crowley the blood, and disappears. Dean and Bobby lie in the Impala, which is upside down, as Crowley begins to open the gate. Dean throws an angel blade at Raphael, but Raphael catches it, and they neutralize both Dean and Bobby without making a move. Crowley finishes his incantation, but nothing happens. Castiel made a little switcheroo. Crowley points out that Cas’s jar is empty, and then Cas gets all glowy.

He lets Crowley make his get away, and then snaps his fingers and gets rid of Raphael. Cas tells Dean that he saved him. Dean apologizes, but tells him that its not safe to hold all those souls, that its scrambling his brains, he’s on a power high. But Cas says that he’s not finished yet, he plans to punish all of Raphael’s followers. Dean begs him to get rid of souls before it destroys him, that they were once family, but Cas says that he has no family. Sam stabs him with the angel blade, but it does not work, He’s no longer an angel.

Cas tells them that he is the new God, and that they will bow down and profess their love, or he will destroy them. Not a good first move as the new God, but leaves next season wide open.

Supernatural Recap: Let It Bleed

March 15, 1937 H. P. Lovecraft finishes a manuscript during a storm. A window shatters, a dark figure enters, he says “we didn’t know, we’re sorry.” It slaughters him spilling blood on the manuscript titled “Haunter of the Dark.”
Sam tries to comfort Dean, as they comb hopelessly over journals. He says that Cas also stole a journal, but luckily paranoid Bobby made a copy. Moisha Campbell paid H.P. Lovecraft a visit before his death, and his stories about going between worlds may not have been fiction.
Two men break into Lisa’s house. Capturing Lisa, and killing her new boyfriend. Ben calls Dean for help, but there’s little he can do over the phone for him. He vows to come for them, telling Ben to jumo from his window. Crowley picks up Ben’s phone, revealing himself to Dean. Dean threatens to kill Crowley, but he’s holding them as insurance for the boys not hunting him.
Dean and Sam assume that Cas knows what Crowley is up to. Dean and Sam go after Lisa by summoning Balthazar. He claims he knew about Crowley, but by the look on his face it’s obvious he didn’t. Dean begs for his help, but Balthazar doesn’t say anything either way, he disappears.
Bobby follows a lead that leads him to a Lovecraft enthusiast. Castiel has already been there, but the guy reveals that on March 10th, the same day listed in Moisha’s journal, Lovecraft held a dinner party to open a door to another dimension. The letters he had that detailed that event were missing, Cas being the culprit. All of the guests that were invited died or disappeared within days, except for the maid’s son, who wasn’t invited to the party.
Dean heartlessly slaughters demons looking for any information on Crowley, unwilling to let Sam help out. Sam prays to Castiel for help. And although Cas does not come to him, he hears him. Cas immediately goes to Crowley, upset about his taking Ben and Lisa. He demands their location, and tells him not to harm them. But Crowley takes a stand, telling Cas if he wants to stop him to go find Purgatory.  Cas gets a call.
Balthazar called Cas, demanding answers. Balthazar asks if he’s working with Crowley, and even though Cas denies it, Balthazar sees right through it. Cas says that it’s a means to an end, but Balthazar isn’t satisfied with that answer. He wants to know the endgame, how Cas sees it all playing out. Balthazar worries that the risk of taking purgatory may be too high. Cas wants to know where Balthazar’s allegiance lies, and it does lie with Cas for better or worse.
Bobby goes to the maid’s son, who’s now an old man. The man says that Cas is not who he says he is, he’s a liar, and Bobby can’t deny that. He asks about the dinner party, everyone has been asking about it. He says that they did their spell, and they all said that they failed, but the old man says that the spell worked. The door opened and something came through, but it was invisible, but no one knew. It went inside his mother, she looked the same, but she was different, she even smelled different, and then she disappeared, and then they all started dying. The man shows him a picture of his mother, Eleanor, and all he can say is “All be damned.”
Dean continues to torture the demons, and one manages to fight back even though he should be bound by the devil’s trap. As he man handles Dean, Cas comes and smites him. Dean says that he didn’t ask for his help. Cas tells him that he didn’t know that Crowley was going to take Lisa and Ben. He tells him that trust runs both ways. That he comes when Dean calls, that he’s always done everything that Dean asks, but this once he needs him to trust him, but Dean can’t.
Bobby goes to his old friend Ellie’s safe house. He didn’t come for a social call, like she wishes, she’s the old man’s mother. He asks why she’s here. She tells him that they’re not all alike, she tells him that they’re lucky that she fell through. She spent the last 75 years to keep the door to Purgatory closed, and she knows how to open the door. Bobby begs her to let him keep her safe, but she refuses.
Sam pours a drink when Balthazar appears. He’s now on team Winchester, disliking Cas’s answers. He knows where Lisa and Ben are, but he can’t get to them. He’ll get them near, but no further.
Dean and Sam immediately take out a demon on watch, as they go into a building they split up to search. Sam is caught by the demons and placed in a cell, knocked out.
Lisa and Ben are tied up, their guards go to check out noises. Dean single-handedly takes care of all the demons and frees Lisa and Ben. Only Lisa isn’t Lisa, she’s possessed. She holds a Ben hostage, and spews lies, making both men bristle. Dean throws holy water on Lisa, but can’t bring himself to hit her. He begins exorsing her, when she stabs herself to keep him from finishing, he hesitates for a minute, and then says it anyways ridding Lisa of the demon, but she’s still injured. Ben takes up the shotgun, as Dean carries Lisa, and he kills all the demons in the way. They find Sam and the four of them make it out of there. Dean tries to comfort Ben, but urges Sam to go faster.
Dean sits at Lisa’s bedside, telling Ben that he’s sorry, but Ben walks away. Cas comes, and offers his condolences, but Dean is beyond forgiveness. He tells Dean that he didn’t come for him, and he lays his hand on Lisa’s forehead, telling him that she’ll wake soon. And although he’s grateful, Dean tells him it doesn’t change anything. Dean asks him for one more thing. When Lisa awakens, she doesn’t remember anything, and Ben tells her that she was in a car crash. Dean goes to check up on them, and neither remember him. He says he’s the one that hit her, that he was out of control for a moment and that he’s sorry, but he hopes that her life can get back to normal now. Lisa says that she’s ok, Dean says his goodbye, and walks away.
Sam tells him that this is the worse thing that he’s done, that he shouldn’t have whitewashed their memories. Dean tells him if he mentions Lisa or Ben again he’ll break his nose, and the two drive off in silence.
Cas finally catches up with Eleanor.

True Blood Filming In Los Angeles, CA.

A friend of mine posted photos of her and Stephen Moyer as well as autographs on the famous rolling stone cover in which Anna Paquin is sandwiched between the ever so hot Alexander Skarsgard, and Stephen Moyer. If you remember it or have it, it's the photo where this trio are covered in blood and Alex is holding one of her legs up. I've posted that picture as you can see. Pretty sexy and grotesque at the same time. I get excited over anything that is True Blood so I immediately asked her where she took that photo with Stephen. She told me that the show was filming in L.A. for a few days but by the time I found out about it they were on their last day....argh!!! Ok, well good thing tomorrow was my day off so I made it a point to go to the Millennium Biltmore Hotel on Grand Ave.

May 19, 2011 was the last day to film this episode at this location so I expected there to be a lot of fans there. I was so wrong because when I got there I found out from security that we were not even allowed in the building if I was there for a photo op or autograph. Apparently a crazed trubie bum rushed Anna and scared her. So yes, they tried to kick me out. I told them that I was by myself and that I was just there to see them, not necessarily get a picture or autograph. Yes I lied, haha. I so wanted a photo op with any members of the cast. I was told that Anna, Stephen and possibly Alex would be there so I walked out trying to look inconspicuous. I even spoke with the hotel coordinator, told him I was harmless and asked if I could stick around. He said if I stayed in the hotel's bar, the security cannot kick me out because I was a hotel guest. So needless to say that is exactly what I ended up doing. The coordinator even gave me a tip that Anna was in the women's restroom in the hallway, so I quickly snuck over there. I of course acted as if I was staying at the hotel, not busting out out my camera, but hid my little pocket fuji film camera in my bra. As soon as I saw her I acted so surprised. I said,"Hi Anna, do you remember me? I met you last year, its me Leilani....you guys are filming here at this hotel, I didn't even know?" Then she actually gave me a hug. I asked her if she could take a picture with me because last year I wasn't able to at Comic Con and then that's when I blew my cover. Well needless to say she said the photo would have to wait because she was working, and her assistant was trying to place a hidden microphone in her clothing. So of course I said yes later would be fine, but deep down felt disappointed that she could let me, a true "True Blood" fan down.

I was at the bar waiting for my photo op drinking refills of iced tea from 1pm -9pm, and once in awhile walking around to stretch, and use the bathroom every hour due to the tea. I would speak with the hotel's coordinator and bar manager to keep busy, whilst they kept encouraging me to ask them each time Stephen and Anna walked by to stop them for a photo. They seemed like they were in such a rush so I left them alone. Seriously I was getting a little frustrated because I could see them every now and then but couldn't get the courage to walk over to them. Finally I did walk over to Stephen later that night, but he was carrying a load of luggage over both shoulders and both hands and I felt awkward to ask him to take a picture with him. Yah, not very tactful so I just told him hello and he said hello back and that was it. The coordinator gave me a tip that Alex was in the bathroom in the same hallway I found Anna, so I waited for him to come out of the bathroom only to be disappointed once again because it was just his double. He was pretty hot and very tall himself, but he wasn't Alex and I desperately wanted that photo with him. I told the coordinator and he said he couldn't tell them apart because he didn't watch the show.

So yes I waited 8 hours and still nothing and I had an hour and a half drive home ahead of me and had to get up at 3am for work. It wasn't a total waste of day, at least I got a hug from Anna and a "hello" from Stephen, haha. Better luck next time.

Game of Thrones Recap: The Wolf and The Lion

The healers work on the man cut down from by the mountain, who didn’t quite die, but he might as well had. Ned hears that the king plans to joust, and goes to him. The king is too fat to get into his armor, and Ned tries to talk him out of it, tells him that although he wants to, the others will let him win.

The knight of the flowers, Loras Tyrell, gives Sansa a flower before facing the Mountain. Littlefinger insinuates that the King’s brother Renly is gay. The Mountain is unhorsed when his saddle slips. The mountain beheads his horse and attacks the knight of flowers. When he goes to deal a death blow to the knight, the hound intervenes, and the two fight until Robert stops them. The knight raises the hounds hand in victory before a cheering crowd.

Tyrion tells Catelyn that her sister has changed, when he figures out that they are headed towards her. He proclaims his innocence when their group is ambushed. Catelyn unties him during the attack, and even with freedom so close he chooses to save her by bludgeoning one of the attackers with a shield.

Bran goes over his lessons, learning family mottos, upset that his mother was not there when he awoke.

Arya goes about chasing cast with little luck. The eunuch Varys comes to Ned, telling him of duplicity of the kingdom now that he trusts that he’s a good man. He confirms that John Arryn was indeed poisoned, because he started asking questions. Arya’s cat chasing leads her down to the dungeons. She hears that her father is in danger, and that plans for war in the works.

Varys and Baelish banter about appetites and the kings laws. Both point fingers, casting doubts about loyalties and it  seems that Varys was one of the men Arya overheard in the dungeon. Arya makes her way back to the palace, the guards try to send her away thinking she’s a beggar. She stands before Ned telling him all she heard. A member of the Night’s Watch has come with news. He is imformed that Catelyn has captured the Imp, Tyrion.

Catelyn makes it to the Vale, the home of her sister, anearly impregnable fortress.

Stark looks for the King, who is at the council meeting. He orders the death of Daenerys, her unborn child and Viserys. Ned reminds him that an ocean still lies between them. Varys and the rest of the council are in favor of killing her now to prevent the deaths of innocents in the future. Ned cannot go along with this dishonorable plan. King Robert threatens to find a new hand if he will not stand for the plan, and Ned gives up his position, quickly packing. Baelish comes, asking where Ned will go, tempting him with the last person John Arryn spoke with before his death.

Catelyn stands before her raging sister Lyssa, breastfeeding her old child, spouting out accusations against Tyrion. Even the child is delusional. There is doubt in Catelyn as she stands before Lyssa, and Lyssa orders Tyrion to be placed in a prison on the edge of a cliff.

Loras shaves Renly, speaking of knightly prowess. Loras offers him a chance at the throne, with the help of his father’s money. He tells him that people loves him, and that Stannis would be as bad a choice as Joffery.

Cersei comes to console her husband over the loss of Stark as Hand. She’s not convinced that losing Ned over the Targaryens is worth it, but Robert sees the bigger picture and the danger that the Dothraki truly hold. And though they outnumber them, Robert knows that one united army is stronger than the five divided ones that he has. The kingdom is built on hate and backstabbing. Cersei asks about Robert’s first love, Lana Stark for the first time ever. And Robert confesses that he can’t even remember what she looks like, but the there is still a hole in his heart. Cersei wonders if there was ever a chance for them, and Robert says no. Cersei claims his admission makes her feel nothing.

Stark meets another of Roberts bastards, a little girl this time. He assures the mother that the girl will want for nothing. He goes to see Littlefinger, asking what he knows about all the king’s bastards. Baelish claims he doesn’t know, that maybe the king was overcome with fatherly love. Jaimie confronts Ned outside of Baelish’s brothel, inquiring about his brother. Ned tells him that the Imp was  taken to answer from his crimes. Jamie orders Ned to be taken and his men killed. All of Ned’s guards are quickly dispatched, but Ned does not give up so easily, taking on the kingslayer. Ned holds his own until one of Jaimie’s men stabs Ned from behind. Jamie takes care of the offending man, and tells Ned that he wants his brother back.
