The Strain Recap: Creatures of the Night

Jim helps Abraham up. He's fine. Eichorst has gotten away. The silver bullet did little to him, because of his age. The group compiles their knowledge. With night falling, New York is easy pickings to the rapidly growing strigoi ranks, unless they can figure out a way to harness the power of the sun. UV light sabers anyone?

Manhattan. Eichorst limps, that silver bullet bothered him a bit more than was though. He has difficulty jumping onto the train platform.

The four take a cab ride to a medical supply store, but no surprise its closed, and the cab speeds off before they can come up with a new plan. A little B and E is added to their lists of crimes, and Eph smashes their way inside. Nora thinks she hears something as they look around. And Eph is held at gunpoint by Fet. Jim tells him they have a legitimate medical emergency, which doesn't make Fet lower his weapon. Eph tells him they're from the CDC, and that has his attention. Fet lowers his weapon, and the group get to looking for the UV lights, but Fet already took them. Fet recognizes Eph, asks if he's some dangerous criminal. Jim points out that the police will be there soon, with their breaking in and all, but they won't be. Fet disabled the alarm before he entered. Abraham asks about his experiences with the strigoi, and he's had some. Nora negotiates for some of the UV lamps, and Fet allows them to take a few. Jim, Nora and Eph seek out some go phones, while Abraham chats with Fet. Fet warns Abraham off of the subway, telling him that there are dozens down in the tunnels, but Abraham corrects him, more like thousands at this point. He asks if Fet knows the tunnels, and as a rat catcher he does, well.

Eph and Nora grab supplies, Jim tries to pay, but the machines are running super slow at the gas station. Little miss hacker is inside, and she's fairly gloating about her work, and the large wad of cash she was given to do the job.

Abraham asks for Fet's contact information, but Fet works alone. Abraham spots one of the infected, and excuses himself.

Nora knows things are going to get worse before they get better. Once news gets out of the strigoi, there is going to be mass panic and looting. A strigoi comes to the gas station window, and throws a throat stinger at it before Abraham removes it's head with his sword. Abraham moves onto the second one, and what does the hacker inside notice, the infected guy? Nope, the crazy old man with the sword. Abraham almost coos at it before shooting it with his nail gun and beheading it. Fet arrives, bashing a third one in the skull coming to Abraham's aid. Jim throws money at the gas station attendant, as Eph and Nora run to assist with the oncoming group of strigoi. Others, oblivious to the danger also exit, but they don't fare too well against the throat stingers. Jim digs for some extension cords while Fet, Abraham, Eph and Nora fight off the oncoming horde. Jim manages to fry one, but he can stop another from smacking him with its stinger. The group retreats into the gas station, and the delivery man finally notices the commotion around him. One of the Strigoi comes to the door, but changes course. Jim goes to clean up his cheek. The hacker isn't so happy to hear about the strigoi as Abraham scopes out the garage. Eph charges up some of the UV lamps to give them a fighting chance.

Abraham knows they have very little time, and Fet asks for the rules. He needs to know how to kill the strigoi. Lead is useless, but silver seems to work. Fet is interested in Abraham's nail gun, standard issue from Home Depot. The hacker's friend, Frankie, tries to call for help, but that system has been disabled too. Maybe the hacker should have been less worried about notoriety and more concerned with why the StoneHeart Group wanted to crash systems and shut down the internet.

The gas attendant makes note of everything stolen, and Eph explains that they're doctors from the CDC, and there's an outbreak which essentially turns people into vampires. The delivery man isn't buying it, and he wants to leave. Eph stops him, but none of them see Frankie making for the door until she's through it. Nora locks the door behind her, and they watch Frankie bob and weave her way through. She makes it past the strigoi, and they don't give chase. Fet's truck is too far to risk running to safely. The deliveryman and the hacker want to try for is, and they try to make a run for it. The hacker freezes in fear, and the deliveryman isn't nearly as agile as Frankie, and gets eaten. Eph and Nora come to the hacker's rescue. They all leave together or not at all. They won't last through the hour if they don't move soon. More are coming, all connected to the master. Eph doesn't believe, but as more gather, he doesn't have a choice.

Fet keeps watch. He decides to throw some money to at the lottery. His luck can't get any worse he assumes. Jim hands Nora a water, and tries to hands Eph some milk. Eph refuses, and Nora notices something. Under the UV light she and Eph see that Jim has a worm. Eph prepares for some field surgery. He's going to cut the worm out of Jim's head.

Nora takes her gathered supplies into the office. Jim drinks up as Eph prepares his worm hunt. Eph hopes to get to the worm before it reproduces. Footsteps clomp around on the roof. Jim is panicked as they start. Fet and Abraham prepare to defend the gas station. The hacker has an idea. Eph manages to extract the worm, and Nora fries it. Fet puts one a car wheel. Eph stitches up Jim. The gas attendant makes some noise, one of the strigoi breaks through the glass door. Eph runs for the UV lamps and fries him, and Abraham shoots him for good measure. He knows a diversion when he sees one and runs outside to find one of the strigoi cutting the power. Lights out.

The charged UV lights are placed at the shattered door, but the strigoi attack at the garage. Fet beats them back. They've twenty minutes of UV light, and few options. They're sitting ducks. Abraham wants to move. He calls upon Fet's knowledge. The strigoi try to break through the AC, but luckily they haven't reached full maturity yet, and don't have super strength. Even at maturity,  they won't be as badassed as Eichorst. He's one of the chosen. Eph isn't comforted by Abraham at all. Fet tries to get the gas attendant to come with him, but he feels safer inside of his box. Fet pays for everything they've taken, and then some with one of his winning scratchers. Eph makes up some moltov cocktails, while Jim apologizes for his past sins and thanks Eph for his efforts. Eph tells him it was nothing, ,but then spots something, another worm. Jim tells him he's fine that he doesn't feel anything. Eph lifts up his shirt, he's completely infected, there are worms all over his back. Jim knows that he's done for. Eph wants to take him to the hospital, to try everything to save him, but Jim knows that this can't be stopped. He asks Eph to kill him, but he won't. Abraham knows there is no time for all of this, that he's going to die. Eph wants to help him, as Abraham tells him to save Jim's soul. Jim can't handle the thought of killing his loved ones, of turning into a monster. The strigoi are almost through the AC, and Fet ends the debate, by shooting Jim in the head killing him. Eph loses his shit, but Fet did what he couldn't. Jim wanted to die, and they were wasting valuable time arguing.

Abraham says a prayer over jim's body, but there's no more time for tears the strigoi are inside. Abraham, Nora, Fet, Eph and the Hacker make a run for it. Eph promises to repay the favor should Fet get hit by a stinger. Fet pumps some gas, while everyone else tries to hold back the strigoi. Eph makes his way to the delivery guy, who is still kinda alive. Eph pays him a kindness, and everyone loads into the truck as the gas station goes up in flames. They're free and clear for now.

Masters of Sex S2E8 - "Mirror, Mirror" Recap

Bill has been meeting with a plastic surgeon named Frank. They're old college mates that lost touch but now Frank has sought him out because he and his wife are struggling to conceive. As it turns out, he has a low sperm count. Bill is ready to dismiss him but then we learn that Frank is Bill's brother.

Virginia is highly determined to thoroughly research sexual dysfunction, as more of these cases have been turned away during their new screening process for the study. Roughly a third of the applicants have been shown to suffer from various forms of sexual dysfunction. She also has Barbara on her mind, who admitted to having a "closed vagina," a condition today known as vaginismus.

Lester asks for time off to attend his father's funeral and tries out his first draft of his eulogy on Virginia while a couple in the study is engaged in coitus.

Bill needs to find more funding for the practice and is being audited by the IRS for filing as tax exempt when he needed a board of trustees in order to be able to qualify. Bill and Betty devise a scheme to enlist the chief of police as one of their board members and set up a dinner with the chief and his wife, along with Bill and Libby. Betty also makes Virginia attend to ensure the best possible outcome. They sell the study as a preventative measure of divorce, saying that sexual dissatisfaction is the number one cause of it, which in turn leads to bad-behaving people who engage in criminal activity. Libby then suggests they attend the Veiled Prophet Ball, an event which promotes philanthropy among the city's elite. She also volunteers to raise funds. Libby has quite the knack for sales, as she convinces the Cal-O-Metric lady Flo to purchase an ad in the VP Ball program.

On her way out of the building, Libby is nearly run over by a pickup truck filled with white men who throw the body of a black activist and history teacher out onto the sidewalk. Libby is shocked, frightened, and drives off, but not before being spotted by Coral's brother Robert. The police and newspaper later report the incident as stemming from the man having marijuana on him. It's a cover-up stemming from the white supremacy of law enforcement. Robert later stops by to ask Libby about what she witnessed. The police won't do anything if the only witnesses that come forward are black. In their conversation, Robert also compares the VP Ball to the KKK, as it's a room full of white people listening to a person in a white hood.

Bill pronounced the Cal-O-Metric spokesman dead. He was an old obese radio star that ate himself to death at the hotel where Bill serves as an on-call doctor. He tells Elliot, the night manager, that he'll need a coroner, not an obstetrician. Later, we see Flo hire Langham as the new spokesman for Cal-O-Metric.

Virginia goes to meet Barbara and asks to speak with her to get a better understanding of her type of sexual dysfunction, vaginismus. Unfortunately, things grow dark when the the questioning about Barb's first sexual experience triggers her memory that it was her brother. They had an ongoing incestuous relationship until their mother caught them. The abruptness of the memory coming back has Barbara terrified to the point that she comes calling on Virginia late at night. Virginia thinks that God closed her up because of what they did and that it sickened them.

At the VP Ball, Libby sees the Veiled Prophet wearing a white hood and begins to notice how all of the waiters are black. She tells Bill about Robert stopping by and tells the truth about what she saw. She says how Robert wants her to go the police and Bill is exasperated by the thought, saying it's not their issue. She then points out to Bill that everything in his life has been about the study and now she doesn't know where she fits in. He tells her she fits with him. But Libby later goes to visit Robert to talk about what she saw.

Virginia makes an appointment for Barbara with a psychologist but Barbara is horrified about the idea of sitting down with a stranger, particularly a male one, and share such dark secrets. Virginia then rashly goes to the appointment, impersonating Betty, to relay the story she shared in the hopes of receiving some useful advice that she may pass on to Betty.

Bill meets with Frank, who talks about how he first became interested in plastic surgery after seeing a woman who got into a horrific accident be patched up with a new face. Unfortunately, the accident was a failed suicide attempt, which she later fixed with a bottle of pills. Fixing a person's outside is the easy part. Frank admits he spent his life pretending Bill didn't exist but now he wants his brother back.

Masters of Sex airs on Sundays on Showtime at 10PM.

"The Following" SDCC 2014 Interviews

FOX's The Following stars Kevin Bacon as FBI agent Ryan Hardy, whose life has been turned upside down in the pursuit of the devilishly charismatic cult-leader Joe Carroll, played by James Purefoy. He is assisted in his investigation by up-and-comer FBI agent Mike Weston, played by Shawn Ashmore. Ryan Season 2 introduced psychopathic twins Luke and Mark, played by Sam Underwood, and Ryan's niece Max, played by Jessica Stroup. At SDCC, we sat down with Kevin Bacon, Shawn Ashmore, Sam Underwood, Jessica Stroup, and executive producers Marcos Siega, and Jennifer Johnson to gain insight to this gripping drama and get the scoop on what's in store for Season 3.

Marcos Siega says that Season 3 will jump ahead a year, following the events of Season 2, and that it will indeed be a new start for Ryan Hardy. Jennifer Johnson teases that we just might get to see Kevin Bacon dance! Joe Carroll will play into the season prominently but perhaps not in the way that we are expecting. Max will have excruciating decisions to make this season, as being the moral centre is never an easy time.

SDCC-newcomers Jessica Stroup and Sam Underwood share their perspective on their first time visiting Comic Con, and visiting the fans that had camped out the night before. Sam says that he asks the show-runners as many questions about his characters and the show as possible before they'll stop answering. Jessica is excited about the direction of the writing this year and Sam shares that Mark will be in a completely different environment and through flashbacks, we will see how he got to that place.

Kevin Bacon says that it's fascinating to explore the morally grey area of the characters and the difficulties they face working in law enforcement. Shawn Ashmore says that the violence the characters react with seems perfectly natural when looking at the traumas they face. Kevin teases about Ryan's new love interest and the determination he has to stay away from Joe Carroll and all the followers. Kevin feels that Ryan has gotten closer to being able to be a happy person and Shawn says he feels that Mike and Max's relationship will not be an easy one but that Mike will want to grasp on to something good in his life.

Season 3 of The Following will air in 2015.

Outlander Recap S01E04: The Gathering

A clansman keeps watch, a woman runs though the woods. It's Claire and she's being chased by the children. She slipped her guard, but not the children. They catch up to her when the kids do, but Claire isn't done playing. The guards however want to get on to the gathering, so Claire ends her game. The hunt was more than just a game, it was a way for Claire to plot a way to escape. The MacKenzies gather in an encampment to celebrate, and it warmed Claire's heart to be in there presence, even while plotting to get away. She thinks of a way to distract her guards, and a pretty woman seems a good distraction. One is set off for the lady, and the other, accompanies her to find a horse.

For the hunt she needs a gentle horse. Most of the horses are already spoken for, and Claire asks if Jamie can help her. But Jamie is busy with his horses. The stablemaster suggests Brimstone, who despite the name is a sweet horse.

With her plans in place she heads back to the apothecary and is startled by Geillis. Geillis notices all the food and wonders if Claire is pregnant, if that is the reason for her desire to get to France. Claire tells her that she has not been unfaithful to her husband, but Geillis points out that she can't be unfaithful if her husband is dead.  As memories of Frank float through her mind she tells Geillis that he is dead, which makes more sense than to say he hasn't been born yet. Geillis asks if she ever had children, and wonders if she's barren. Claire hasn't, through she and Frank tried, and it doesn't matter now. Geillis continues to look around, noticing things like the sleeping aid, and opens up a little about her past. Just because life doesn't turn out how it was expected, doesn't mean it won't turn out well. Geillis warns her that the highlands are no place for a woman alone.

Once Geillis leaves Claire continues her getaway plan. She's almost ready to make her dash. The evening would bring her chance to escape. Mrs. Fitz notices her in the kitchen, and more so her clothing. She takes her away to find more fitting clothes for the occasion, which allows her guards to draw back.

Everyone gets into their places as Colum arrives and takes his seat. He's clean shaven, and gives a rousing speech in gaelic. He couldn't hope for a better lot than those before him about to pledge their allegiance. Dougal is the first to offer his sword to his brother. The oaths are all the same, and with her guards both lined up to take theirs, Claire prepares to leave. She has one guard only in tow. He doesn't want to leave, but Claire wants to make preparations. He convinces her to stay, and she pulls a bottle to get into the festive mood. She takes a drink, and offers the bottle up. He drinks heavily from it, and doesn't notice her spit out hers. Someone is gonna be sleepy. He thinks the wine is strong, but good, and tells him to go ahead and enjoy it, share it with friends. Sneaky, sneaky. The more unconscious clansmen, the better.

Claire makes back to her room to grab her goods and getaway when Laoghaire startles her. She's come asking for a love potion. She needs something to hold a lads attention. She wants more than what's in his pants, she wants his heart too. Claire gives her some dried horse dung, which given the circumstances is very appropriate. She tells her to sprinkle the contents at his door and recite a very Wizard of Oz incantation.

She makes a break for the stable and bumps into clansmen at every turn. They're drunk and handsy. Dougal comes to her rescue, pulling them off Claire, but its out of the frying pan into the fire. Dougal is just as drunk, and proves to be handsy as well. Claire slaps him good, and Dougal tells her to be off before she pays a greater price. He notices her sack, and she knocks him out with a stool. Claire continues her escape, hiding from the centuries.

She makes it to the stables, and literally stumbles over Jamie. He asks how far she thinks she would get on horseback with half the MacKenzie clan after her in the morning. Claire thought she was prepared, but Jamie tells her that Colum has extra guards out in the woods. She wouldn't have gotten far. Claire wishes to go anyways, but the best trackers are there Jamie warns. Claire is an outlander, and she doesn't belong. Jamie convinces her to stay, offering to take her back to her room. Claire isn't so sure thats a good idea, remembering the drunkards she's already encountered. She can't go back, she knocked Dougal out. Jamie laughs at her story. With Dougal drunk, he'll never admit that a lass got the best of him, even if he remembers. Jamie takes her back but not the way she came. He takes her to the tunnel, but they're caught. The men plan to take Jamie to take his oath, but when one of them tries to keep Claire, Jamie rises to defend her, knocking out the one holding her, and getting knocked out by Claire's guard Randal in return.

Jamie dresses in preparation for his oath taking, and reveals that although Dougal and Colum's nephew, that he isn't part of the MacKenzie clan. Claire tells Murtagh that Jamie is there, and all eyes falls upon him in a hush. Murtagh tells her that if Jamie pledges allegiance to Colum, then he will become Laird when Colum passes, which puts him at odds with Dougal. Dougal sees his arrival, and takes him place by Colum's side. Should Jamie take the oath, Dougal won't likely let him remain breathing. All able bodied men must take the oath though, and should Jamie not take it, he would be killed by the others.. Jamie only needed to stay hidden until after the gathering and he would have been safe. Jamie kneels before his uncle Colum, he cannot give him an oath, but instead offers his vow of obedience so long as his feet rest on MacKenzie land. Colum accepts, and the tension is broken.

Claire readies for the hunt. The men draw the boar out. Randal stalks the forrest with his spear, Claire walks her horse. A whole horde of boars run, and gore one of the riders. Claire patches him up and tells Randall to take him back to the castle as she runs off towards the sounds of another injured man. A boar closes in on Claire, and Dougal saves her. The other patient isn't so lucky though. The leg isn't bad, but the abdomen wound is fatal. Dougal allows the man a good death under the blue sky. Jordy begins to panic as he loses feeling in his extremities, and Claire asks about his home to distract him. Jordy asks for a song, and leaves the world behind.

The boars are brought in, as is Jordy. Some of the men are playing a rousing game of shinty and Dougal throws himself in. The game is violent and things get heated between Dougal and Jamie, but Mutagh keeps it fair. It the end, Jamie flips Dougal over his shoulder. Dougal taught him well, maybe too well. The men go limping about.

With her escape in the past, Claire has to make a new plan. Dougal comes to visit her, asking if shes seen men die before by violence. Claire of course has, and Dougal thanks her for what she did for Jordy. Claire wishes she could have done more, but she gave him peace, and that is more than anyone can ask for. Dougal is there to set Claire free, kind of. He's planning on taking a road trip, and he's bringing Claire with him. He needs a healer, and she fits the bill.

The group leaves at first light with Dougal in the lead, Claire's guards, Claire and even Jamie.  She had no clue where the journey would lead her, but only hoped that she would come close to the stones of Craig na Dun so she could finally get home.

Intruders S1E2 - "And Here… You Must Listen" Recap

Madison's mother finds that she is missing and frantically begins searching for her but to no avail. Madison is at a train station. She becomes lucid and remembers the journey she took to the train station but also the stop she took to meet a Chinese woman who welcomed her back before giving her a black book with a gold nine on the front. The book also contains an envelope full of cash and a pair of keys inside. Her train ticket is set to take her to Seattle, Washington. The opening message of the book reads, "In the beginning, there was death."

Jack visits Amy's place of work but her boss Todd is evasive, saying he doesn't know where Amy is. He offers to pass her mobile phone on and says that she isn't in Seattle that week, or at least not with them. Jack dreams and it's unclear whether he's recalling a memory of something that actually happened. He and Amy are in bed and she begins speaking Russian and moves towards the window. He tries to wake her and asks if she is okay. She says she is because "in the beginning, there was death."

Madison's father Simon comes in and is tearfully embraced by his wife whilst she he is being interviewed by a police officer.

In El Cajon, California, Tim Truth is covering for Oz Turner. He tells listeners that Oz's death is being ruled a suicide but does not believe this to be what truly happened. He says to Bill Anderson that if he is listening, they are all there to ensure he doesn't get captured. He also insinuates that Oz was killed for revealing the name of the secret society, Qui Riverti. He says the killers are out there listening but he and others will never forget.

Madison's visitors are visited by Shepherd who is claiming to be an FBI agent. His manner of questioning is rather abrasive and oddly specific so they ask him for some identification. He retaliates by saying that Nick Coulson is the man Madison's mother has been sleeping with. Simon storms out angrily and his wife chases after him. This leaves Shepherd to go snooping through Madison's belongings and he finds a torn out page in her notebook and finds that she had written the message, "What goes around comes around."

Jack goes asking around to various cab drivers for George, the man who had found Amy's phone. George receives word that he is looking for him and goes to meet Jack in a bar. George says that Amy frightened him and that he overheard her say she used to live in Russia and that she assassinated a Czar in the 1800s.

Madison reads a message in the book that welcomes her back, saying she has been missed but now her river flows again. It says to not be afraid of uncertainty, headaches, or unfamiliar memories, adding that this has all happened before and will happen again. Only Qui Riverti can understand. There is no such thing as death. Her pupils dilate as she finishes reading the message, likely indicating her switch back to Marcus. She then presents her ticket to the worker, who despite Madison's best efforts, refuses to allow her onboard as an unaccompanied minor. He flatly apologises but she rebuffs him, ominously saying that what goes around, comes around.

Shepherd goes to Chinatown and visits the woman Madison saw in her vision. She questions him as to what he has done since they have never had a nine-year-old visit them before. He demands to know where she has gone. Shepherd fights and kills off her hired muscle. She pleads with him to not kill her, saying she will be 72 next month and that it's not her time yet. He ignores this and shoots her anyway.

George admits to Jack that Amy was with a man but it seemed like they were just friends. Jack continues on his search for her by looking for the nicest hotel in town. George helps him with his search but they are then chased by some men in dark clothing. George is badly beaten but Jack is able to fight them off using his skills as a police officer. A man is about to shoot Jack but then one of them says, "No, she said no," and they run off. Jack helps George up and George says that those men were after Jack and leaves, saying he is done. Jack receives a call from his friend, enquiring after the car he borrowed. Jack apologises and then admits that the reason he is in Seattle is because Amy went missing. It's then that Amy is patched through, saying she is home, and asks where he is. He looks up and sees someone watching him before going inside and turning off the lights.

Madison tries to bribe a man to pretend to be her father so she can board the train but he believes that she is a trap to bait predators so he refuses. She spots Shepherd searching for her so she runs out. She runs outside and is able to shake his tail before bribing a woman to drive her to Seattle. In the car, Madison continues to read the message from her little black book.

Intruders airs on Saturdays at 10PM on BBC America.

Doctor Who S8E2 - "Into the Dalek" Recap

A rebel fighter named Journey Blue is on board a ship under attack by Daleks. The Doctor gets her out just in time but her brother was killed before he could save him, too. At her request, he returns her to a rebel space station named Aristotle. Journey's uncle, Colonel Morgan Blue is grateful to have his niece back but wants to kill the Doctor to keep the station safe. But upon learning he is a "Doctor," Blue decides the Doctor can help their patient, a war-torn Dalek that has apparently turned good.

Clara is back at Coal Hill School and meets Danny Pink, the new Maths teacher, who is a veteran of the warn is Afghanistan. In his class, we see one of his students ask him if he ever killed someone outside his job, causing a tear to discretely fall onto his cheek. Clara invites him out to a get-together for one of their colleagues but he politely turns her down due to his feeling awkward over his attraction to her. She then catches him berating himself and invites him out for a drink instead which he agrees to. She returns to her office and finds the Doctor waiting for her with coffee that he was supposed to fetch for her three weeks prior in Glasgow. He needs her help and asks if he is a good man. She says she does not know.

They return to Aristotle. Colonel Blue plans to miniaturise the Doctor, Clara, Journey, and two additional soldiers so they can get inside the Dalek and determine what is making the Dalek apparently good, as it has been declaring that Daleks must be destroyed. The miniaturisation is successful and the group are inserted into the Dalek through the eyepiece. They begin exploring but once a soldier shoots a grip hook into the floor, Dalek antibodies are released and he is incinerated.

The Doctor, Clara, Journey, and the soldier head down to Rusty's (the Dalek) waste centre. They find a large crack which is causing the malfunction. The Doctor repairs it with his sonic screwdriver and this restores it to its normal human-killing ways. It goes on a rampage, breaking free from its chains and exterminating rebels.

Clara convinces the Doctor to try to reawaken the Doctor's good side. The extra soldier sacrifices herself to Dalek antibodies while the others head to Rusty's mind. She awakens in "heaven," and is also greeted by Missy, just as the Two-Faced Man was in "Deep Breath."

In Rusty's mind, Clara awakens memories of witnessing the creation of a star. The Doctor enters Rusty's conscious and reminds Rusty of the destruction of Daleks. But Rusty accesses the Doctor's hatred for Daleks and this causes him to begin exterminating fellow Daleks that have begun arriving to the station. The Doctor is emotional over Rusty's seeing the darkness in him.

Rusty stays with the rebels and vows to continue destroying Daleks. Journey asks to come with The Doctor and Clara. He tells her she has a good heart but wishes she wasn't a soldier. The Doctor returns Clara to her office, mere moments after they left. Before leaving, she says that she doesn't know if he is a good man but that he tries to be which is what matters. She then meets Danny, who says he is glad that his being an ex-soldier hasn't scared her off. She says that she is not the one with problems with soldiers.

Doctor Who airs on Saturdays on BBC One.
