(Aug. 11, 2014) – From two-time Academy Award® winner Paul Haggis(Best Picture & Best Writing, Original Screenplay, Crash, 2004) comes THIRD PERSON, a collection of multi-strand stories of love, relationships and betrayal, debuting on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD Sept. 30 from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.  The all-star ensemble cast includes Academy Award® nominee Liam Neeson (Best Actor, Schindler’s List, 1993), Mila Kunis (Black Swan), Academy Award® winner Adrien Brody (Best Actor, The Pianist, 2002), Olivia Wilde (Rush), Academy Award® nominee James Franco (Best Actor, 127 Hours, 2010), Moran Atias (The Next Three Days), Maria Bello (Prisoners) and Academy Award® winner Kim Basinger (Best Supporting Actress, L.A. Confidential, 1997).  

An intriguing and thought‐provoking film, THIRD PERSON intricately weaves together the stories of three couples, in three different cities, who appear to have nothing related -- but share deep commonalities. The three tales play out in three cities: in Paris, where a Pulitzer Prize-winning author (Neeson) who recently left his wife (Basinger) is having a tempestuous affair with an ambitious young journalist (Wilde); in Rome, where a shady American businessman (Brody) meets a mysterious woman (Atias); and in New York, where a lawyer (Bello) is helping a young mother (Kunis) in a custody battle with her famous ex-husband (Franco).

Synopsis:
THIRD PERSON tells three stories of love, passion, trust and betrayal. The tales play out in New York, Paris and Rome through three couples who appear to have nothing related but share deep commonalities: lovers and estranged spouses, children lost and found. THIRD PERSON is a mystery, a puzzle in which truth is revealed in glimpses, and clues are caught by the corner of the eye—and nothing is truly what it seems.

The film is written and directed by Paul Haggis and produced by Paul Breuls, Michael Nozik and Paul Haggis. Executive producers include Fahar Faizaan, Andrew David Hopkins, Guy Tannahill, Nils Dünker, Anatole Taubman, Arcadiy Golubovich and Timothy D. O’Hair.
