Bo goes to hell and back to rescue a friend.
Tamsin faces a foe from her past.

Your favorite clones are back! On the heels of the return of BBC AMERICA’s Peabody Award-winning series Orphan Black, the network released today two all-new poster images from the series. Award-winner, Tatiana Maslany, returning to her unprecedented lead role as multiple clones created by “Project Leda”, is joined by Ari Millen who will also take on the charged role of highly trained, identical male-soldiers created by “Project Castor”. More vulnerable than ever before, the sisterhoods bond will be put to the test. The critically-acclaimed, action-packed series returns to BBC AMERICA and will broadcast live across all AMC Networks in a station takeover Saturday, April 18, 9:00pm ET.
You can’t choose your family…or can you? BBC AMERICA’s original drama Orphan Black, starring Tatiana Maslany in multiple roles, returns April 18. The groundbreaking series’ second season brought new enemies to light, culminating in a shocking finale which revealed a new line of militaristic male clones, played by Ari Millen. Season three plunges the clone sisterhood, Project Leda, into unexpected territory with the realization that they’re not alone. Orphan Black returns Saturday, April 18, 9:00pm ET on BBC AMERICA.After neutralizing the threat by the DYAD Institute (the company that monitored them) – Sarah, Helena, Cosima and Alison (Maslany) are finally all united in their journey towards the truth of who and what they are. But new discoveries that include Helena’s kidnapping, a book that could contain the answers to their existence and the most shocking discovery of them all – a set of treacherous male clones with an unknown agenda – will test how tight their new bonds are.
No sooner has Sarah caught her breath after a stealthy escape from DYAD and the ruthless clone Rachel (Maslany), she is called upon to face the crazed, captive Castor clone, Rudy (Millen). But it is the discovery of Helena’s disappearance that spurs Sarah into action, rallying her sisters in the quest to reunite their clone family, and find peace once and for all.
Their greatest threat is a band of highly trained soldiers – identical brothers dubbed Project Castor. Unlike the sisterhood, Mark, Rudy, Seth, Miller and others (Millen) grew up together, fully aware of who and what they are. Developed by the military, this wolf pack was raised as regimented clones – singular in thought, movement and allegiance. Hell-bent on kicking up dirt, they’re dispatched to tackle their mission from all sides. But differences in approach betray cracks in their armor, and may be the very thing the sisters need to escape their clutches.
The sisters will need all the help they can get. With Cosima’s fluctuating health and no known cure for the mystery illness that ails her, she is holding onto life by a thread while nursing a broken heart left by her scientist lover Delphine (Evelyne Brochu). Can she find a cure in time to save herself and her sisters? As the turbulent world of Alison turns, she faces fresh suburban woes and new marital challenges with lovable oaf of a husband Donnie (Kristian Bruun). How far will Alison go to keep up the façade of her cookie cutter life? Sarah’s torn between her desire for a life with daughter Kira (Skyler Wexler) and Kira’s father Cal (Michiel Huisman) and the urge to protect her foster family – loyal and feisty brother Felix (Jordan Gavaris) and mother Mrs. S (Maria Doyle Kennedy). But Mrs. S’s betrayal may cause her to turn her back on the only mother she’s known.
The hits keep coming for the girls but their commitment to this new family is as important as ever. No clone can do it alone, and Sarah must align with unlikely bedfellows in order to take on what is yet to come… and hopefully, discover the truth – her truth – along the way. How far are they willing to go to save each other and protect their families?
Co-created by Graeme Manson and John Fawcett, with Manson also serving as writer and Fawcett as director, the Peabody Award-winning drama also stars Dylan Bruce as Paul, an army officer working for secret forces in the clone world, Kevin Hanchard as Art, a detective caught in the clone trap and Zoe De Grand’Maison as Gracie, a Prolethean escapee. Guest-starring this season will be Justin Chatwin as Jason Kellerman, a neighborhood dealer, James Frain as Ferdinand, a cleaner sent to Dyad and Ksenia Solo as Shay, a new woman in Cosima’s life.
Orphan Black is produced by Temple Street Productions in association with BBC AMERICA and Bell Media’s SPACE. The original drama is executive produced by Ivan Schneeberg and David Fortier of Temple Street Productions. The international hit series is distributed by BBC Worldwide and can be seen in more than 170 countries. The first two seasons of BBC AMERICA’s Orphan Black are on VOD, streaming on Amazon Prime, and available to purchase on digital platforms as well as Blu-ray/DVD.
Poor Kenzi was brought back from
Valhalla, as Bo had bargained for, but she should have been more
specific. The beautiful bride is stuck in her own grave. She tries to
calm herself, but can't as she screams for help. Help is coming.
Lauren and Dyson have come to the rescue. Lauren used a shovel, but
Dyson went all doggy style to rescue her. Kenzi, in the clinic tells
them that she traded herself for her.
Bo arrives on the magically button lit
floor. And she's welcomed by the fountain by a small bouquet, but
there doesn't appear to be anyone else there. She was never any good
at mazes, but she finds herself in one now, and Daddy is the prize.
She goes down the center passageway and into the labyrinth.
Lauren gives Kenzi a once over. Dyson
has gone back to the gates to make sure that they stay open for Bo to
return out of them. Kenzi has had enough of the little physical, but
Lauren insists. She complains about the icyness of Lauren's hands.
Lauren notes that Kenzi is shaking, but she insists that she just
needs a drink, that which Lauren can supply. She thanks her again,
and for not removing her liver for science. Lauren jokes that science
couldn't take the hang over. Lauren tells her that Bo never stopped
looking for the helshoes to bring Kenzi back, and Kenzi was sure she
would, just as she's sure Bo will come back, that its like she's with
them right now. And maybe she is as a cold wind goes through the
room, and a message of Help is written on a fogged glass.
Stacey comes topside to close the gates
of Valhalla, but Dyson warns her against it. She tells him that
unless he's some sort of weird looking Valkyrie she's never heard of,
then he shouldn't even be up there seeing the gate anyways. Dyson
won't let the gate close even if he needs to rip her apart, but Stacy
remains unruffled, threatening to call her sisters for backup. Dyson
is more than willing to take on a few pretty girls, even if they are
badass Valkyries, but truthfully she's more than happy to just be out
of the nest. She lets slip that she's out soul hunting, because of
Bo's deal, and she needs to replace Kenzi's soul. Bo has thrown
Valhalla out of whack. Stacey tells him that she needs a soul close
to Bo's heart and asks who he loves. He claims not to know her well,
but he knows who does, to Stacey's relief. She has work to do, even
if Dyson is insanely distracting. He offers to help, and Stacey is
more than happy to accept.
Bo hears crying, and follows the sound
to Kenzi. She had a deal that Kenzi would be safe, and she's not
happy thinking that she isn't. She hears Dyson saying that they can
finally move on with their lives. It's all faint whispers, trying to
mess with Bo's head. Bo is wounded, she's snacked on by something.
The wart covered goblin took a bite out of her thigh, and continues
to taunt her. A friendly face comes to help. She tells her to only
hear what she needs to, that her true voice is way out. Bo kicks the
goblin, and defeats the maze. She's in Tartarus, and her bird girl
guide is willing to help her out of Tartarus, but Bo needs to see her
father, and the surroundings look familiar.
Trick is happy to see Kenzi back. He
asks her if she's sure that it was Bo. Kenzi is pretty sure it was,
and more so that she won't let things go all Baba Yaga. Trick gives
her a fae artifact, telling her to be careful, fae spirits can be
very vengeful ones.
The girl tends to Bo, but she can't
handle her ministrations. Bo wants to fast track the healing, and
asks the girl to help. With a simple kiss Bo starts the healing
process, taking the kiss and making it deeper.
Lauren's gotten cleaned up, but between
the vodka and the shoveling, she needs to throw in the towel,
succumbing to the needs for rest. Bo lays her bird girl against a
bed, and hits the sheets with her. Asleep Lauren gets more than a
little feel up as Bo gets frisky with the girl in Tartarus. Kenzi
rushes in, waking Lauren with the spirit board that Trick brought in
hand. They need to be sure the spirit is Bo, before they contact it,
knowing that a spirit would say anything to cross over. After her
little wet dream, and ghostly fondle, she's sure its Bo. Kenzi steps
away from the bed, just glad that she wasn't getting freaky with a
pillow, Bobo's vag-mission was received loud and clear.
Bo thanks the girl for some sexual
healing, and she tells Bo that everyone is always starving in
Tartarus. Bo remembers that fact from school, and then she remembers
another part of the myth, Persephone. Bo just had sex with her step
mother. Bo searches for her father, and Persephone tries to stop her.
She wants Bo to get out while she can, he's found a way to null her
deal by taking the Artemis Flame that was her way out, and hasn't
been to the surface in a long time. Her father is angry with her. Bo
is upset with him too, he has no reason to be angry with her, he
tried to get her to end the world, and when she didn't he forced her
friend to go through a portal and die to close it and save the world.
She's upset that he's sent his child bride to seduce her, but
Persephone claims that he didn't send her. Bo finds the most likely
door for her father to be behind forges ahead, giving no mind that
he's a God in his underworld.
Dyson takes Stacey to the Dal, and she
doesn't understand why everyone is so happy. The Unamense are no
more, Evany is no longer the Morrigan and now the Dal has become the
ground for democracy. Everyone wants to fall into the footsteps of
the unaligned succubus, and choose peace. Trick introduces Stacey to
Dyson. Everyone is very curious to Bo's whereabouts. Stacey ponders
if Trick's soul would satisfy Freya. Dyson plays the noble Trick off
as a liar, a drunkard, and a trickster. Lauren calls, but Dyson
silences it. Stacey asks who her soul is to be, and he describes
himself, her lover, her confidant, the mad she fed off of when she
needed it most, and the one who loved Bo enough to give his love of
her to the Norn to save her. He tells her that he is the last of his
kind, which intrigues Stacey. Dyson tells her this great love is Vex,
the Mesmer. Stacey leans over and kisses Dyson, making sure he's not
the one that loves Bo. Tamsin arrives, and she's not happy to see
that Stacey is there. She warns him off. Stacey is Tamsin's
replacement, and Tamsin admits that she betrayed Bo, her mission was
to return Bo to her father. She was activated like some sleeper cell
by Bo's father. The little distraction gives Stacey a chance to make
a run for it with Dyson's phone. Tamsin sends Dyson back to the
gates, so the Valkyries can't close it, and she'll take care of
Stacey.
The room isn't what Bo expected, but
she remembers it. It's a nursery, her nursery when she was a baby. Bo
realizes that she was born in hell. There's a cage in the room, that
once housed Aiofe. Persephone still remembers her wails. She was only
allowed to hold Bo when she fed her. Hades use to gloat how powerful
Bo would be. There were once lots of people, midwives and guards, but
they fled when Hades began to lose his powers. Bo peels back layers
of wallpaper in the cage, and finds a sketch of Aiofe and Bo. Aiofe
loved Bo, but she realized that only one of them would be able to
escape, and she set Bo free. Persephone's mother loved her too, but
she was unable to save her from Hades. Bo warns her that if this is
another trick, then she'll pluck out all her feathers. Persephone
urges Bo to get out while she can, but Bo is the one that Hades has
been waiting for, and she is about to end his wait. Persephone takes
Bo to the elevator. Bo is sorry about earlier, unsure that she could
have been as brave her. Persephone heard of Bo's bravery, and figured
if she could be as brave as she's been, then she could too. The doors
close, and Bo looks to choose another button. The white hand glows on
her chest, and then the Pent House button illuminates blue. Bo
chooses it, and heads up. Upstairs, the creepy mouth breathing
starts. She's wanted to meet her father for a long time. She taunts
him to come out to face her, to stop hiding as he has all these
years. He's not her family, nothing, and she refuses to walk into the
dark. She tells him to keep hiding, that she doesn't want to meet
him. She doesn't want to jeopardize the people she loves. If he wants
to meet her, he can do so on her terms, because her true family would
never abandon her. Bo comes to a lone candle. She will never be what
he wants her to be, but she will take everything that he has, and if
he doesn't like it, she says to come and get her. She runs to the
elevator. As the doors begin to close, a hand grabs her by the neck.
She refuses to go out like that though, and her eyes flare blue. Her
mother taught her to fight and she plans on it. The fights against
the hand, and gets free. The doors close.
Kenzi prepares for her ritual, asking
Lauren if she's going to eat the blood sausage willingly, or if she's
going to have to force feed her. It looks like Lauren chooses force
feeding. Kenzi has some experience with the whole spirit summoning
thing, and doesn't want to wait for Trick. Kenzi takes Lauren's cold
clammy hands, and it begins. Immediately the reactions start, and it
may not be Bo.
Bo takes Persephone by the hand. She
asks what Bo did, she did exactly what he didn't want her to do. Bo
is ready to take Persephone out of there, but she can't go. She's
found the center of the labyrinth, and she has to wait until her
latest 6,000 years are up. Bo isn't accepting that answer. She wins
not because of luck, but because she has a great support system, and
she's unwilling to leave anyone behind. Persephone claims that she
cannot go further,. Bo worries what Hades will do to Persephone when
she leaves, but Persephone tells her that he's lost interest in her
long ago. and tells Bo to leave, and to let her family know that she
is safe. Bo promises to light the candle for her, and Persephone
tells her that a little light is all that is needed sometimes to keep
evil at bay.
Kenzi and Lauren hide behind the couch.
Kenzi is sure that they awoke something evil. She asks if they
disturbed a grave when they dug her up, but Dyson did most of the
digging. They may have angered a spirit or something. Lauren should
have known, she had a mirror shard in her pocket. Seriously, how did
she not notice a shard of that size in her pocket? The thing even
kissed her neck. Lauren thinks to play tough guy and go after spirit,
but it pushes back, and Lauren calls for a retreat.
Dyson wolfs out as he holds open the
gates with all his strength. When he swore fealty he really meant it.
Bo appears behind him, impressed and thankful that he waited for her.
He takes her home.
Lauren and Kenzi, can't hide forever,
and so Lauren gets up the guts to make a run for it, and grab the
boarrd. Lauren grabs it, and Kenzi torches it. Problem solved, well
one down, a new blonde one emerges in the form of Stacey. She needs
to feast on a soul still, she didn't buy for a moment that Vex was
Bo's love. Lucky for her, Dyson's text messages clearly show Bo's big
yen for Lauren. Lauren is willing to sacrifice herself for Kenzi, but
Kenzi is still Kenzi, and she's unwilling to let that happen,
offering up herself. Stacey is in no hurry to get back to Valhalla,
but she's taking Lauren. Bo and Freya made a deal, which makes Kenzi
off limits. Stacey uses a little Valkyrie mind magic on Kenzi and
knocks her out, then goes for Lauren. She can't take Lauren's sou.l
if she's still living, but she plans to remedy that issue. Tamsin
plans to send Stacey home without a soul, so she'll know what it
feels like to be on the naughty list for once. Stacey points out that
the books will still be unbalanced, but so are Tamsin's boobs, and
she deals with it. Stacey doesn't understand why Tamsin would choose
mortals over her sisters, especially not in her last life. The fellow
Valkyries are kinda mean girls, Tamsin points out. Stacey tells her
that they call her a doormat, and she should stand up for herself.
Tamsin tells her that she shouldn't talk, her haircut is very dated
and her roots are showing. Stacey leaves in a fit, hair is against
every Valkyrie rule of engagement. Kenzi is relieved to see her, but
caution, after running into the Shining Tamsin last time, but its
Tamsin Tamsin.
Trick toasts Kenzi, and Bo, and all the
warriors that brought them home, as they sit around the table. Dyson
and Tamsin call a truce, he had no choice but to improvise, even if
it was all over Stacey's mouth. Trick welcomes home Bo. He's been
around for a very long time, and still the afterlife is a mystery. Bo
doesn't enlighten him on it though, telling him the afterlife was
very personal. Dyson has something for Kenzi from Hale. He left her
something in his will. Kenzi admits that she felt close to him for a
second, and that he was happy. Lauren tells the group that there is
an excellent selection of vintage Cabernet and offers to go retrieve
some, Bo heads down with her. Bo can't believe that Lauren had ghost
sex. Bo asks about Kenzi, not health wise, but otherwise. She's been
through a lot with her almost wedding, and coming back from the dead.
She wonders about the trapped spirit, the one that was summoned by
the Ouija board, if they can burn a ghost. Bo turns just in time to
catch the spirit, and knock it out. They didn't destroy it, they gave
it corporal form. Lauren asks how Bo knew, and Kenzi points out its
never easy and over with the fae.
At home, Bo is ready to welcome Kenzi
back with all her favorites including “Tremors” but Kenzi isn't
ready for that. She can't continue to be the lost girl in the fae
world wanting to be fae. Bo tells her that that has never mattered to
her, but it matters to Kenzi. It's mattered to Kenzi for a long time,
but she's finally ready to do something about it. She's learned so
much from Bo and everyone else. She lost the love of her life, and
she died, which is why she needs to try something new, something
human, something for her. For the first time in forever, she's okay
with that. Am I the only one not okay with this? Kenzi has been the
best part of the show from the start, and getting her back so soon,
only to lose her again is heart wrenching. But, she says needs to go.
Kenzi hugs Bo, and its another tearful goodbye. Hale left her some
Santiago land on the coast of Spain. She's never been out of the
country, and now is the perfect time. Her bags are already packed and
she's ready to leave on a jet plane. Bo tells her that they're
sisters, and in each other's life for good. Bo loves Kenzi, sometimes
its the only thing that she's completely sure of.
Bo looks over the collection of wigs
left behind. She pulls a board from the window, and another, letting
the light in. A woman gets onto the elevator while on the phone,
telling the caller about an evil copier and a bad day. A candle
appears in the woman's hand, but disappears as Bo lights Persephone's
in the window. The lit candle appears back in the woman's hands and
then the screaming begins. Bo got the candle too easily from
Tartarus, and now it looks like she's started something big.
Season 4 saw
so much heart break, with the loss of Hale and then Kenzi. There were some serious tears shed when Kenzi
gave up her life to close the portal. With Kenzi gone and buried, the final
season of Lost Girl begins!
Season 5
opens with Bo climbing a mountain, trying to escape her memories of Kenzi, of
her death. Bo finds a great big nest, which houses one of the shoes ala Raiders of the Lost Ark Bo suspects the
shoe is booby-trapped, but she takes her treasure and starts her climb down. Bo
makes the first mistake of mountain climbing, and looks down. She slips and she
falls all the way down. A broken Bo is found by some rednecks, who want to take
“care” of her. The injured Bo is knocked out as they plot. Succubus Bo awakens
and feeds off the closest one, getting enough energy to chi suck the other two
from afar. They messed with the wrong girl, but she doesn’t really make them
pay. She just takes her shoe and goes.
Bo returns
to her home sweet crack shack, that is still depressingly Kenzi-free. She reaches up into her fireplace, where she
likes to hide things, and finds the item missing. Tamsin has hidden the other
shoe. Bo now has both shoes, and she wants to dance into Valhalla and retrieve
her bestie. Tamsin won’t give her the shoe, for fear that she won’t return.
There is something really bad in Valhalla that scares Tamsin, but she remains
mum. Bo has heard her screaming in her sleep, but Tamsin can’t talk about it.
Bo wants Tamsin to accompany her, since she was the one who delivered Kenzi’s
soul to Valhalla, but that’s not an option. Tamsin gave the shoe to the next in
charge.
Bo shows
Trick and Dyson the shoe. She’s ready to go after Kenzi, and get her back at
any cost. She knows that there will be a high price to pay, but she’s willing
to pay it. She was forced to sit back and watch Kenzi die, and she’s worried
that Kenzi is scared and alone or in danger. Dyson wishes that he could go with
her, not just because he pledge fealty to her, but because he loves Kenzi too.
Dyson and Trick will do what they can to keep her safe on their end. Trick
gives her the second shoe, and tells her that if she sees her grandmother to
tell her….
Lauren runs
her little clinic. Mr. Dupoint is having some odd fae issues. Bo comes to see
Lauren. Worst case scenario when she puts the shoes on, is that she’ll go crazy
ala French Lauren in Dyson’s past, and they’ll have to kill her to stop her. Bo is worried about hurting someone, but
Lauren won’t let her. She’s going to sedate her at the first sign of an
abnormality. Bo puts one shoe on and jokes that she’s going to kill Lauren. The
pair laugh it off, but Lauren needs more time, to get ready. Bo can’t wait, she
puts on the other shoe, and they mold to her feet before disappearing. She
feels weird, and Lauren runs to her, but in a flash of light Bo disappears.
They were not expecting that.
Bo arrives
in a posh hotel. A woman in red tells her that she’s late to her hell. She
tells Bo that she likes her bouquets tight, and realizes that Bo isn’t the
florist. Bo tells her that she’s looking for a friend. She tells Bo to check in
first, and make friends late. A girl tries to check in, but she isn’t on the
list, so the front desk turns her away. The woman sees the “stray,” and opens a
black hole, which sucks her in. She asks
Bo’s name, but she points out a group of warriors who could use the woman’s
help, and she goes to the group. Bo tries her charms on the front desk, but his
no touchy rule, leaves Bo powerless. She makes an excuse to go off without giving
her name, when she spots a maid. Bo approaches the woman, and with a touch on
the wrist, Bo activates her power of persuasion.
Tamsin
stuffs her face with carbs as she watches TV. Lauren wants to know everything
about Valhalla. Tamsin tells her to “eat a sack of tits” so that she doesn’t
have to hear her voice. Lauren points out that Tamsin claims to be a member of
their team, and yet she’s the only one not helping get Kenzi back. Tamsin opens
up the couch cushion with a knife and gives to Lauren her diary. If anyone knew
it existed, she’d be dead. It’s not filled with kisses, or fingerbangs. It’s
much more. Lauren tells her to sprout wings and head to Valhalla. It’s not so
simple. She needs a soul. Lauren has a soul that’s on its way out. As a human,
Lauren is still not understanding, but Lauren points out that everyone has made
sacrifices, and now Tamsin needs to get her Valkyrie on.
A maid-clad
Bo enters the elevator, with the most buttons every. Seriously the entire thing
is covered with buttons. She sees finds one button covered in chocolate, it’s
got Kenzi all over it. Bo pushes it, and heads towards that room number. Bo
enters the purple room, and finds Kenzi eating chocolate spread with chocolate.
Kenzi missed her Bobo, and Bo her. Kenzi looks very much alive. Bo asks if she’s
seen Hale, and Kenzi goes into security mode. The pair grill eachother on
things that only the pair would know from parental names, middle names, to
favorite aliases. Bo and Kenzi both pass all tests with flying colors, and
Kenzi begins gushing about the hell that she’s in. It’s five star all the time.
She can have anything her heart desires, including a scenery change by just
calling the front desk. No torture, just sequels and prequels to her favorite
movies that are really good. Kenzi shows Bo the invitation for the event that
she’s apparently hosting. A mouth breather calls her, and Bo asks what that’s
about. The guy calls her once a day, which is another reason that Kenzi wants
out, but after they share some icecream.
Lauren tries
to find any information that she can on Valhalla, frustrated over Tamsin’s
silence. Trick tells her that Tamsin can’t talk about it, because she’s a
Valkyrie, she would literally die if she spoke their secrets. Dyson reads through Tamsin’s diary, and he
comes across a passage about Tartarus. It mentions the shoes and how the wearer
of the shoes can collect a dark army to end all life. Trick worries why the
shoes would work on Bo and Bo alone. Someone wants Bo to bring Hell to Earth.
Dyson finds a picture of the gate where he found Tamsin at after she brought
Kenzi to Valhalla. The gate only reveals itself to Valkyries. Lauren hopes that
they can trick it. She found Tamsin’s baby hair in Massimo’s stash, and he had
claimed that it was the key to opening things. She hopes to trick the gate into
opening for her, and Dyson is on board with the plan. Trick continues his
research.
The woman in
red, Freya throws a fit over the wrong colored chair as Tamsin arrives. Freya
is happy that Tamsin has come home, but she hasn’t really come home, she’s come
for forgiveness. Freya is suspicious of the Valkyrie, as she has extra lives,
and that suspicion grows when she’s told of the subpar soul Tamsin brought. Freya
tells her assistant to send the soul down. They house warriors. Tamsin tells
her that she brought Rainer, and that she’s paid her debt. It’s going to take
much more to gain her sisters trust. Freya wants Tamsin to be the ruthless Valkyrie
she was. Tamsin has come about liberation of the human soul. Freya is not
pleased that Tamsin has used Valhalla as her personal holding cell. The phone
rings, and Tamsin looks scared. It’s for her. Freya warns that she’s held him
back for way too long, and its time Tamsin cleans up her mess.
Bo wonders
if they had ever taken a vacation. With their messy love lives, it’s been
difficult to get away. Bo almost wishes their lives were a little less
exciting. There’s a knock at Kenzi’s door, and she retrieves an envelope. The
item inside has her spooked. It’s a picture of her and Hale, one that she had
destroyed the only copy of. One the back its inscribed in Hale’s writing “See
you soon Little Mama.” She’s completely freaked out. Bo looks at the party
invite, and notices that its for a wedding. Kenzi wants to get the heck out of
there. The wedding is to be hers to Hale’s.
Kenzi wants to leave. Bo points out that this may all be real, and that if it
makes her happy, maybe she should consider staying. Kenzi would do almost
anything to be back with Hale, she truly loved him. Bo tells her that the
selfish thing for her to do would be to drag her home. Kenzi takes it all in
for a moment, and asks Bo to stay with her.
Bo agrees to stay, she’s going to need a maid of honor afterall.
Tamsin
answers the phone, and tells the caller Bo’s descriptive prophecy, and that she
is his. Just what is Tamsin up to? She hides out in the lobby and spots Kenzi.
Kenzi has curlers in her hair, and she’s happy to see Tamsin. Kenzi is really
happy that she’s getting married, but Tamsin wants to know where Bo is. She
gets way too far into Kenzi’s bubble, as Kenzi tries to remind her about the
little thing known as personal space. Tamsin needs to right her wrong she tells
her. Bo is off looking for wedding stuff, but that’s not what Tamsin wants to
hear as she continues to ask the same question and tries to corner her. Kenzi
picks up a croquet mallet, and takes a swing at Tamsin, connecting with her
jaw. She may have raised Tamsin, but the girl has been brainwashed, and Kenzi’s
swing did little other than to piss her off. Kenzi knows she’s no match, and
makes a run for it.
Bo runs into
Freya’s assistant, Stacey. She uses a little persuasion on her, and she
realizes that she’s a succubus. She spills that Hale has been held up on the
bifrost, but he’s on his way. Bo lets go of her arms, and the girls says something
under her breath to command, but won’t repeat it to a questioning Bo. She does
confirm though that since Kenzi proved herself in battle, that Freya is
celebrating her. It was all perfect, but with Bo sniffing around, she’s not so
sure. Bo assures her that she won’t interfere. Bo wants to see Hale, but she
can’t. He’s still getting fitted. Bo believes her that its really Hale, and she’s
happy and disappointed. She’ll have to say goodbye to her beloved friend. Stacey
isn’t worried about Bo though, she’s worried about the guy on the phone as it
rings and she goes to answer it.
Kenzi runs
all the way back to her room, with Tamsin in pursuit. A door stands between
them, and Tamsin goes all Shinning on it. Kenzi climbs out the window, and
luckily Bo arrives. Tamsin is all crazy eyed. She and Bo fight, until Bo
finally gets her pinned. She uses her power on Tamsin to neutralize her. That’s
strike two. Bo is willing to let her attack her, but never Kenzi. This is why
Tamsin didn’t want to come to Valhalla, she does bad things here. Bo heads off
to find Kenzi, and Tamsin stops her. She tells that when she fed off her, and
said she tasted happy, it wasn’t about Dyson, but about her finally having a
family. This is her last life, and she doesn’t want to live it without all of
them, her family. The phone rings, and Tamsin is scared. She admits to her that
she thought she had to deliver the wanderer, but instead the man on the phone,
the one who hired her, asked her for someone she didn’t think could exist. He
wants Bo. Bo isn’t interested, she has a wedding to get to.
Black clad Bo
walks with a white clad Kenzi. Kenzi worries over the white dress, but Bo
thinks its perfect. She gives her the old (Joan of Arc’s handkerchief),
something new (a book of matches from the gift shop), something borrowed (Bo’s
knife), but doesn’t have doesn’t something blue. Kenzi points out that Bo is
her something blue. Bo apologizes for not being able to save Hale, and that she
wasn’t there to save her. It was Kenzi’s turn to do the saving she says. Bo
points out that Kenzi had saved her countless times since she came into her
life. Bo admits that she doesn’t want to leave her in Valhalla, but she has to.
The doors open, and it’s time. Bo offers her her arm, and the pair head towards
the light. Bo walks Kenzi down the aisle, and its bathed in bright white light.
Kenzi wants to run to Hale, but Bo asks that she wait behind while she makes
sure its okay. Kenzi agrees, but as Bo walks towards the groom, Kenzi trails
behind. The light becomes blinding, and
only the fedora remains. Freya says that she sent him back. Kenzi closed the
door to hell, and Tamsin brought her there, but her soul was already promised
to another and now she belongs to him, Bo’s father. Bo asks that Freya send
Kenzi home, and take her instead, a soul for a soul. She knows that was his
plan all along. Freya agrees that it is, but before she can take her soul,
Tamsin stops her telling her that she cannot separate Kenzi and Bo’s souls. As
the wearer of the Helshoes, Bo is permitted to take a soul that has thanked
her, and Kenzi is her claimed human. Kenzi tells her that she felt Hale, and
that he was happy, but she wants to go home. She asks that Bo reclaim her
quickly. Freya doesn’t see the claim, and calls for the guard to take Kenzi
away. Bo tries to claim Kenzi, but its too late, the deal was struck before the
claim, and nulls it. Kenzi is taken away, as Bo asks that she be kept safe.
Freya will heed her wishes. She opens a portal around Bo, and Kenzi will be
returned to her body.
Stacey
retrieves Bo’s necklace and taunts Tamsin. Stacey tells her that she isn’t special
and needs to stop acting like she is. She asks Tamsin what Freya hates most,
unbalanced books. Tamsin warns her to stay away from them, but Stacey needs to
get another soul, one close to the Succubus’s heart.
Dyson and
Lauren wait outside the gate, as Lauren tries to trick it into opening. Holding
Tamsin’s hair she speaks the words to open the gate, and the spell works. Dyson
wolfs out a bit, to man handle it open. As Lauren crosses the threshold she goes
all Valkyrie. She tells him that the human has returned and that he has
trespassed. Lauren collapses in his arms, dropping the hair. It goes up in
smoke.
Kenzi has
been returned to her body, and therefore her grave, still clad in her wedding
dress. She lights a match, from the box that Bo gave her. Poor thing is stuck
six feet under.
Bo is in the
elevator. A blue light shines from one of the buttons. If he wants her, she’s
coming. She pushes the button, and heads down.
Alright
folks, it all ends tonight. Break out the tissues, there’s a battle brewing and
there will be casualties.
Bo walks
away from Rayner. He tells her that his intentions were true, but Bo still
feels the fool. She stood in front of her friends and chose Rayner over them.
Rosette was his trusted warrior, she was turned against him, and she threw
herself into a fire. Her father is someone who even the blood king fears, he
manipulated all of them. Rayner knows they have an advantage that he never
predicted though, they share something real something good. Bo’s neck hickey
flares, and she doesn’t know what is happening to her. Bo sees it as his mark,
and Rayner tells her that they will figure it out together.
Rayner takes
Bo to the Dal. Trick thinks that Rayner did it to her, and the bad blood
between them flares. Bo stops them, and tells Trick that it’s the Priapus doing
it. She tells him that they ran into some horse god worshipping nuns, and they
think that he is her father. Rayner adds that they bound together to break his
curse, but they unleashed something worse. Trick thinks that Rayner should have
never left the train, the one that Trick put him on for challenging the blood
laws. Rayner asks when he will take responsibility for the chaos that he’s
caused. Neither men are backing down, but Bo tells them that her father is
close, she can feel him. He’s trying to cross the bridge, he needs her out, the
dark Queen, Bo. Bo has always known she was dark but now she needs him to tell
her everything about her blood.
Massimo
digs, he’s driven past the brink to complete insanity. Nature and Nuture have
worked together in him to make a monster. Massimo thinks that he will be a god,
but with the death of the last Zamora heir he knocked out his chances. Lauren
mocks that his only chance for immortality will be a pop song about the tragedy
of his mommy issues. His hair has gone grey, and he swallowed the seed, and now
the unamense is trying to devour him. Lauren reasons that it took six fey to
control the unamense power, and the human brain can only take so much. He
wishes to make Evony proud, but Lauren doesn’t think the Morrigan would want
this. None of his past actions made her happy, not the Valkyrie hair, not the
maiden, he remembers she did want the maiden, and he plans to bring her the
succubus’ head.
Trick admits
that the true identity of Bo’s father remains shrouded from him. Rayner
continues with his petty bickering, but Bo puts a kibosh on it. Trick tells
them that when Aoife attacked the dark when her mother was lost, he had no
choice but to hand her over, that he had to prove that his blood laws were
infallible. Rayner realizes that Aiofe was her mother. Aiofe spent centuries in
the dungeons being tortured and used, she has Trick’s light blood, the blood of
a mage, blood that drains life from nourishment. Bo has the blood of her
father, that allows her to draw life from many victims, but she can also
transfer it to someone other than herself, which is from her mother. She has
hybrid blood. Trick fears that blood will help her father escape. Rayner sees
that her blood can lift curses, resurrect armies as they fall on the
battlefield, or enslave them if she’s coerced by the wrong hand Trick points
out. Bo wants to check out the portal, but Trick thinks it’s a trap. Bo asks
where he suggests she go, and Massimo has an answer for her. He tells her that
he has Lauren, and all he wants is Bo dead at the Morrigan’s feet.
Dyson comes
to see Kenzi. She tells him that Lauren’s blood is everywhere, her cell phone
left behind, and she was looking for something in the dark archive, and she
found some painting that looks like Bo. Dyson wonders what happened there. The
Morrigan tells them that she goosed Lauren’s berries right where Kenzi is
sitting, and Kenzi scrambles off the bed. Evony is still experiencing hot and
cold sensations, and Kenzi jokes that she’s going through fae menopause, but
Dyson smells different, she’s human. Kenzi punches Morrigan, having waited
forever to do that. Dyson asks how that happened, and Evony admits to Lauren’s
miracle snatch did it, that normally she’d have incinerated her, but that her
son took her. She need Lauren alive, to fix what she’s done. Kenzi asks if her
son is vex, but the Morrigan laughs, as if she’s let her son wear “that too old
to be goth shit if he was.” She admits that Massimo is her son, and Kenzi flies
at her, claws out, before Dyson catches her. One night with a human led to the
birth of the infection that is Massimo. Dyson locked him up in the Dal, but
Kenzi reveals that Vex let him out. Dyson asks where Massimo would take Lauren,
he’d go to the archives.
Bo asks if
Evony sent him, and if she wasn’t so busy dealing with a real threat she’d make
him pay for what he did to Hale. He asks her if she’s ever heard of a Rayju, thunder
beast, and releases what he took from her. It knocks both Rayner and Trick
down, but does nothing to Bo. Bo punches him, but Massimo just turns the other cheek, and sends Bo
reeling. He smashes a chair over her back and throws her through a table. Trick
realizes that he stole the seed from his vault, and Massimo swallowed it whole.
He plans to deal with the druid, but Rayner wants to handle it. Trick lets him,
and Massimo breaks Rayner’s arm. He tells Trick to tell the Valkyrie that his
soul is hers again, as Massimo twists him around. Rayner looks at Bo with an
apology on his lips, and lets Massimo snap his neck.
Bo awakens
back at her house under Tamsin’s watchful eye. Trick drug her home, he went to
the light fae library to see if he could find anything that could help. Tamsin
assesses her injuries. Hale and Rayner are gone, Lauren taken, Bo has really
let things get out of hand, she’s let everyone down. Tamsin tells her to get
her shit together, tells her to start acting like the chosen one. Bo succubuses
her, and she notices that Tamsin tastes different, happier. Could it be the
wolf loving she’s getting? Tamsin brushes off her curiosities and Bo admits
that she’s not strong enough to take on Massimo, Tamsin plans to try to make
him die over and over again. Dyson and Kenzi come running. Dyson embraces Bo,
but Kenzi, not so much.
Kenzi is
still wearing Hale’s ring, but she’s not ready to forgive Bo. Tamsin tells
Kenzi that life is too short to hold grudges, and Kenzi understands just how
short it is with Hale so recently dead. With Rayner dead, Tamsin has a second
chance to deliver it where it belongs in Valhalla. It could end her exile,
Kenzi barely hears her words. Kenzi reads one of the prophecy books, but its
all foreign. She asks Tamsin to translate. The daughter’s heart will close the
portal. Tamsin wonders if Bo has to rip her heart out of her chest, Kenzi tells
her to not tell Bo yet, that they need to get Lauren back first. When Tamsin
leaves the room, Kenzi tears the page from the book. Oh Kenzi.
Bo tells Dyson
that Lauren comes first, that they get her out or they get dead, that her daddy
can wait. She needs something from Dyson, and his mind goes to sex, but she’s
already fed off Tamsin she says and he’s surprised, maybe jealous. Bo tells him
that if she wants to stand half a chance against Massimo she’s going to need a
witness. She’s going to get rid of her dark fae contract, but now Rayner is
dead, the unamense is dead, and so are her ties to the dark. She rips up the contract,
but Dyson doesn’t think it works that way. He asks if she’s okay, she’s not.
Rayner was her partner against tyranny, he was going to help her end the
conflict between light and dark, a good man who made a bad choice. Dyson
understands now why Hale was so grounded, he had a purpose. All his life he has
been searching for a King, and now he understands he should have been looking
for a Queen. He swears fealty to Bo upon bended knee, and Bo lifts him in an
embrace. She thought they were fighting, and they kinda were. He tells her that
he loves her, and that is why she needs him to serve with her not for her.
Tamsin interrupts. She found more about the portal, its in the home of the
horse nuns.
Bo and Dyson
find the portal. Horse head, broken bits of carousels, Daddy has a thing for
horses, but they don’t have to wait to see what is going to come out of the
portal. A trio of revenants come stumbling out. Bo sucks their chi before Dyson
can stop her and she goes all dark and her eyes glow Dune blue. She tells Dyson
in her creepy voice that she is his Queen whether he swears it and that her
army cometh. Ru-roh. She was bound by blood and now she will bathe in it.
Humans and fae will all fall before her. Bo can’t get control back, she tells
Dyson to do something, and he kisses her. Hot wolfy kisses can bring a girl
back from anything. She loses the glow, and tells him he needs new moves, but
it seems to be a proven method to cure her madness. The Revenants growl, and Bo
and Dyson prepare to take them on.
The Morrigan
pours a drink, and she finds herself hot for Trick. She asks him why they’ve
never hooked up, but Trick isn’t into bitches. The Morrigan figures that if the
Priapus is as bad as he seems to think he is, they should have a little fun
first. Trick isn’t interested. He thinks to resurrect the terracotta army, or a
talking mace, but the Morrigan tells him that there is only one way to close a
portal. The Morrigan wonders if they’re going to just sit around and wait for
enslavement and death, but Trick has something more heroic in mind. If she’s
gonna go down, she’s going to look fabulous, and she does look fabulous.
Dyson and Bo
took out the trio but not easily, and that’s only the beginning. Too many have
died on the battlefield. Bo asks about that kiss, Dyson isn’t apologetic. He asks
if she’s okay, and she is. She feel awesome. The room shakes, her father is
close. Dyson tells her that she’s channeling him through the portal, tells her
to control it. But Bo is looking to get a little out of control. She’s going
after Lauren, and she tells him that he has to contain the dead warriors that
come out, to have Tamsin cast doubt in them, and then take them out. He asks
what about Kenzi, and she tells him to keep her close and keep her safe, a tall
order, but Dyson is up for it. He’ll hold back the armies of hell for her.
Bo puts on some
jewelry, Kenzi and Tamsin arrive. Kenzi and Bo hug it out. Kenzi gives her her
sword, and tells her that she’s going to be fine. Did that feel like goodbye to
anyone else?
Lauren
struggles in her chain, as Massimo tells her that he is Evony’s son, that he
was burned alive for seven days, and he can handle the Wanderer’s gift. Lauren realizes
that he has Rayner’s foresight, that he killed him. Massimo is straining under
weight of all the gifts, and Bo is prepared to help him release it all on the
end of her pointed blade. Bo asks if Lauren is okay, but Lauren tells her that she
couldn’t come. It’s kinda her thing though, she saves the world. Bo taunts
Massimo with his mommy issues, but he tells her that his mother just wanted him
to be the best and now he is. Massimo has all the power of the Unamense now,
and it is a nifty bags of tricks. He brings out last gift from when he was
human, and hits Bo with Hale’s siren song. Bo goes down.
Kenzi
embraces her destiny as she toys with something in her fingertips.
Massimo tosses
Bo to the ground. Lauren tells her to let Bo go. Massimo taunts Bo that she
will breathe her last breath watching him kill the good doctor. The voices in
Massimo’s head grow louder. Lauren is close to being out of her cuffs, having
learned from Kenzi’s Shadowthief training. It’s not just panty removal she
says, and she’s ready to kill Massimo. Bo succubuses Massimo, but he cuts her
off. He finds her origins fascinating,
the powers of the Priapus. He thinks that being raised by humans made her soft,
that the keeper was right to warn her of the shit storm coming, and Bo can
barely stand. He points out that being helpless, human, feels crappy. The Morrigan
asks if that’s how he’s always felt, and Bo takes her hostage. The momma’s boy
loses his mind with his dear mommy in jeopardy.
Dyson and
Tamsin take out some Revenants. Her fighting is very impressive. They’re
outnumbered, two against the scourges of hell, but they aren’t alone. Trick is
there too to beat back the horde, he asks where Kenzi is, but Tamsin says she’s
safe.
Massimo
threatens kill her if she hurts his mother. Evony mocks her son’s threat
delivery, and Bo wonders how the now human Morrigan tastes. Bo succubuses her,
and Massimo tells her not to hurt her. Massimo moves to strike Bo, but Bo moves
out of the way, and Massimo chi sucks his mother. Bo is special not because she’s
a succubus, but because she learned how to stop sucking someone’s chi before they
died, and she knows how to give it back. Massimo is trapped, unable to stop the
flow of Evony’s chi into him. She tells him to use his love to break the
connection, and he does but its too late. He runs to his mother’s side, and
tells Bo to make it better. She can, but she’ll need someone else’s chi to do
that, a life for a life. Bo takes his chi, and he doesn’t fight her, and she
returns it to Evony. As Evony recovers Massimo pulls her into his arms, Lauren
reaches into his pocket. He thinks Bo can’t kill him, but Lauren has stolen his
twig, she crushes it in her fingers. Massimo thinks it all doesn’t matter since
they’re all gonna die soon anyways. Bo beats Massimo down for Lauren, for Hale,
and stabs him through for breaking Kenzi’s heart.
Kenzi walks
though the Revenants, and not one of them attacks her. Dyson sees her, and runs
to her to see what she’s doing there. She tells him that she cannot wait any
longer. They’re out numbered and Dyson is injured. It’s time to close the
portal. Dyson doesn’t think they’ve found a way yet, but Kenzi knows how. She
has a part to play. Trick tells him that destiny has a sick sense of fun. There’s
only one way to close the portal, and she’s it.
Lauren
notices that Bo is wearing her necklace. She asks about Rayner, Bo tells her that
she was wrong about Rayner. At least Lauren has always been right about Bo. And
Bo has always been impressed by Lauren. All the girl gushing is great and all,
but there’s an impending apocalypse still. Bo warns that being a human doctor
who can turn the fae mortal, she’s a target, but Lauren is ready for it. Bo
comments that she is dark, but she’s not, she’s Bo’s. Bo finally remembers
about the hell portal, and wants to go off to save the day. But Lauren is
staying behind to protect Evony, she made her vulnerable, and now she needs to
make sure she’s okay. Lauren sends Bo off to her destiny.
Tamsin wants
to pull back, there’s too many revenants. Dyson doesn’t accept Kenzi’s explanation
of Bo’s heart. Kenzi has always been Bo’s heart. Kenzi reasons that things are
never straight forward with the fae, the heart is a symbol, its Kenzi. Dyson
doesn’t want Kenzi to go afraid what the synvat portal will do to her, but she
knows that they need Bo, and she needs her to help. Dyson thinks it should be
him that goes. Kenzi knows that Bo loves Dyson, that she loves Lauren, but she
knows that she is the heart. Kenzi has a plan. Rayner had the gift of
foresight, he knew this had to happen. She reasons that Tamsin now has Rayner’s
soul, the golden ticket. She can take her to Valhalla, that’s where she’ll
wait. Dyson still doesn’t accept this. Kenzi hopes that if she can go out like
this, like a warrior, then maybe she can see Hale. She promises to wait for Bo
in Valhalla, that Bo will never stop fighting until she is returned. Something
big is coming from the portal. It’s now or never. This is the only way for Bo
to save the world.
Bo’s neck
hickey flares more, and Bo finds Kenzi’s engagement ring in pocket.
Kenzi walks
away from Dyson towards the portal. All he do is watch her. She steps around
bodies, past Trick. Dyson roars as Kenzi ascends the ramp. Bo comes just as
Kenzi reaches the opening. She rushes to stop her, but Dyson stops her. Kenzi
walks in, and is hit by the pure energy of the synvat. The portal collapses.
Tamsin rushes forward to Kenzi’s fallen body, weeping over her. Dyson utters
Valhalla to Bo. Tamsin goes full Valkyrie, and extends her wings. She stands
over her, as Bo breaks down completely. Tamsin takes Kenzi away, leaving Bo,
Dyson and Trick behind.
Tamsin lies
before the gates, when Dyson arrives. She tells him that he shouldn’t be here,
but he is. She starts to cry, tells him that Kenzi is gone. Dyson tells her
that they will get her back. She tells him no, and that he cannot let Bo find
the second Hell Shoe. Dyson tries to find out what Tamsin saw, but she’s shaken
up, and he carries her away.
Bo drives
through the cemetery, bearing sunflowers. They buried Rayner near the battlefield.
It seemed right that he should lie next to the ones who fought and died with
him. There has been too much dying, she’s lost so much, but she has to remain
strong, now more than ever. She lays the flowers upon Kenzi’s grave. Her grave
stone says friend, warrior, heart, the perfect description for Kenzi. Bo misses
Kenzi now more than ever, and she more than that she needs her, her courage. Bo
carries Kenzi’s ring with her. She’s done crying, done being scared. Bo vows
that no one else will die on her watch. Whatever it takes she will get Kenzi back.
They want Bo afraid, but they should be the ones afraid.
That’s the
end of the season. Hopefully Ksenia Solo will be back next season, she has to
be, she is the heart. And the song that just broke everyone’s heart is “You” by
Keaton Henson.
Dyson
delivers Hale’s eulogy, to his large family and friends. Kenzi sits separate
from Bo and Tamsin, she sits long after everyone else leaves. Bo sits next to
her. Kenzi thinks that she’ll scream, Bo tells her whatever she needs, but
Kenzi needed Hale alive, and Bo couldn’t give her that. Bo promises to be there
for Kenzi. A knight comes out of trees, and Bo draws her dagger. The knight
removes her helmet and pledges her fealty to Bo. Kenzi leaves in disgust, since
Bo shanghaied the funeral.
The knight
tells Bo that she arrived just in time, someone did not want her to deliver her
message. Dyson comforts Kenzi on the other side of the Dal. Bo doesn’t know who
the knight is, but she does know that she is not her Queen. Tamsin is impressed
by her armor, having not seen some like it in ages. Bo dismisses the kinght,
but the knight talks of mortal danger. With the death of the Unamense the
Priapas will rise, and he seeks Bo. She has the prophecy in hand, and Tamsin reads
it herself. The death of the Unamense empowers the Origin seeds. Kenzi leaves,
and Bo rises to go after her. The knight tries to stop her, but she doesn’t
care about the prophecy with her family broken. Kenzi tells Bo that they have
to get him, that he has to die, and Bo promises that he will pay.
Massimo
stirs up something in his mortar. Bo, Dyson and Kenzi have come to kill him.
Massimo happily spills that they know nothing. Rayner is set to die in seven
days, when the Wanderer rises, another curse befell him and he will expire
unless the curse is broken. Kenzi looks for the twig of Zamora, breaking things
along the way. He tells her that he did Hale a favor driving the dagger into
him, saving him from the disappointment he would had forever bound by her weak
human body. Dyson wolfs out on him to wanting more answers about Rayner. He
whispers in his ear, giggling. Dyson tells them that they can’t kill Massimo
yet, that revenge will have to wait, he has to bring him to Trick. Kenzi pleads
to Bo, but Bo tells her that if he has information then they have to get it
first. Kenzi feel utterly betrayed. First Bo couldn’t bring Hale back, and now
she cannot avenge him.
Lauren tries to find record of Rayner in the
history books, and finds ink on her hands. Rayner is still being written back
into the history books. He’s described as a demon beast, evil pure. 1000 years
has ended he shall be unbound. He will betray the fae. Lauren hears the
Morrigan talk about Bo and Rayner. She knows that they killed the Unamense and
suspects that they killed Hale. It’s only a matter of time before they come
after her she believes, but she plans to strike first. Lauren has heard all she
needs to and runs before seeing who The Morrigan is talking to. It’s Trick. He
tells her that she’s not going to kill Bo, she thinks he has a soft spot for
family. He missed Hale’s funeral for this, and Trick knows he was a better
leader than the two of them. The Morrigan wants to know what he wishes to do
about Rayner, he tells her that they have to put their differences aside first.
Bo and
Tamsin go to the source, to speak to Rayner about his impending death. The
Knight, Rosette, knows Rayner well. She was one of his best lieutenants from
the train. She thinks that she failed him. Bo asks if any of the prophecies she
knows mention Rayner dying, but there is none. The alliance between the two of
them lifted his earthly curse. Tamsin finds mention of another curse. If the
first curse is lifted, he shall be cursed again to suffer and perish in seven
days. Well crap, Rayner has been there for six days. The only way to break the
curse is with the blood of his enemy, the one who cursed him, Trick, but also
Bo since she’s kin. The curse can be broken, and the priapus can be found, they
just need a symbol, a clue.
Bo’s idea
brings them to the Tarot card. Rayner tells her that the purpose of a Tarot
card is to guide. Bo tells him how it revealed itself as a ticket to Kenzi when
she touched it and it burned. Nothing happens when Bo touches the card, so she
burns it manually with a match. It shows the Roman numerals MMXV. Bo thinks it’s
a time, 2015, but Rayner thinks it may be something different, a code or a
date. Lauren arrives and suggest topography coordinates, and they need to talk.
In Bo’s bedroom she shows her what she’s found on Rayner, but the picture is
certainly not the hunk in her kitchen. The book doesn’t even look real, and the
ink is still wet. Lauren reminds her that Rayner wasn’t in any histories, until
he got his memories back and then history remembered him too. Lauren shows her
where it sounds familiar. The Warrior (Rayner) shall escape his curse, the
Valkyrie (Tamsin) shall be reborn, the blood of Zamoran (Hale) shall be
spilled, and it goes on. The women of the horse shall rise, between the warrior
and the queen one of the two shall die. Lauren doesn’t know who the Queen is,
but Bo tells her they suspect its her. Lauren wants to stop the prophecy, but
Bo thinks that she’s doing this to get back at her. Lauren confesses that
everything that she’s done, including staying with the dark has been for her.
Bo bitterly asks for her plan or the truth. Kenzi is hurting so bad, and Lauren
wasn’t there for her. She was in the dark archives digging up dirt on the man intertwined
in her destiny. She chose Lauren before, and Lauren broke her heart. Rayner
interrupts telling her that he’s figured something out.
The Morrigan
bickers over a waxing, and Lauren lies in the morrigan’s bed ready to
celebrate. She wants to join the dark officially. She’s tells her that she’s a
human in the fae world, and the Morrigan has given her strength and confidence.
The light made her a pet, but the dark gave her respect and freedom. She tells
her that she’s felt more like herself in years. The Morrigan doesn’t need to
sleep with her to claim her, and Lauren admits that she has no where else to
go. The Morrigan may not understand humans, but she does like to play.
Rayner, Bo
and Rosette head to see the women of the horses. A woman (Amber from Bitten) comes
out to greet them, and Rosette springs on her. She’s the one that attacked her
she says, Bo uses her influence on her for answers. The woman tells her about the
horse symbol, it’s great and all powerful. She tells her that if she finds it,
her blood will destroy it, that the daughter’s intentions are unclear. The Priapus,
it’s her father.
Kenzi sits
mournful looking at a picture of her and Hale and the blade that killed him.
Vex tries to distract her, he wants to get roaring drunk and cuddle up to some
Rachel McAdams flicks, but Kenzi isn’t interested in fun. She wants revenge,
with blood, guts and pain. Vex is interested. Kenzi tells him that she wants to
kill Massimo, and even admits that she gave him the twig of Zamora. She knows
that Massimo is in the lair, and he’s the only one who can help her. She tries
to move him into action, but Vex admits that he’s putting her into a bad
position. She needs old crooked Vex. He tells her that he will kill Massimo and
instagram her the whole thing, but Kenzi wants the kill.
Bo tries to
figure out what she isn’t suppose to get her hands on, and what it has to do
with her father. She remembers a horse in her room as a baby, and in her visions
she was haunted by a carousel, they’re all clues Rayner says that he wants to
meet her. She’s always wanted that, but now she’s terrified because of rumor.
Rosette thinks she should be afraid. Bo reasons that if he is evil a part of
her must be evil, that theory just doesn’t hold water. Her mother is batshit
crazy, and she’s pretty sane. Rayner points to how the history books have
painted him, and he’s anything but that monster. Rosette pipes up reminding her
that if she completes her alliance with Rayner, her father has been released.
She wants to know why he was imprisoned, and by who. She wants to save Rayner,
but he understands that the price may be too high.
Vex opens
the door to Massimo’s cell, and pulls him out. Kenzi tells him that it must
have been horrifying to think what he would look like if he survived that fire.
She holds the blade at his throat as he tells her how he could smell and feel
his hair and flesh burning, but he prevailed thanks to her. Kenzi asks where the
twig of Zamora is. He refuses to tell her, and she threatens to cut out his
tongue. He calls to Vex, and Vex pulls the blade out of her hands. Massimo, hot
mess that he is, is Vex’s. She reminds him that Massimo killed Hale, and he
knows, but he gave his blood oath that he would protect him after he was
abandoned by his mother. He’s grown fond of pest after all this time. Kenzi
moves to hit Vex with a candlestick and he stops her. Pinned under the mesmer’s
power Massimo wants to let her feel the sensation of burning flesh, but Vex
stops him and sends him away. Vex tells her that they all have burdens to bare.
The Morrigan
enjoys Lauren’s specialized attentions, the girls share a laugh in the after
glow. The Morrigan tastes salt, and she doesn’t like it. Lauren tells her that
she’s sweating, that good sex will do that to you. She feels weird, and Lauren
drops a bomb on her, she’s been transformed into a human. Lauren used the
Morrigan’s own DNA to make her a human.
The Morrigan tells her that Bo has a soft spot for humans, and she’ll
grow to like her, because they both screw anything. Lauren slugs her one good,
and uses her bloody nose for a sample. If the Morrigan’s body rejects the
change she warns, she could be dead within the hour.
Dyson sits
at the Dal with Bo. She doesn’t know what to do about the whole destiny bit.
She asks him if they did the right thing with Massimo, and he’s unsure. Tamsin bring
out a bottle of the good stuff, and they get Dyson to open what Hale left to
him. Bo reads a poem inside, which doesn’t really rhyme, until the last line
appears mentioning the Queen. On the back is a crest of the Order of the
Knights Raynide, it means loyalty to their Queen. Tamsin tells her that its not
just to their Queen, but The Queen. Bo tells them that they think she’s that
Queen. Tamsin says that it means so much more than that. She is the one, Dyson
tells her.
Massimo
looks over some of his little trinkets. Vex has found a place for them to go to
hide out, but Massimo tells him that he has to stay to see that it’s finished.
He killed the heir of Zamora, and now Vex isn’t sure what to do with him. Vex
tried to raise him right, but its all falling apart. He asks Massimo to come to
England with him, be like it always has been, just the two of them. Massimo
agrees, until he gets a call, and goes running.
The Morrigan
is the one that called him, it’s the momma the psychopath needs. She tells him
not to pout, and brings him in for a kiss. He relishes the sound of her heart,
happy to see that Lauren did indeed make her human. The Morrigan pushes him
away. She hopes that he has some miracle in his bag, but finds nothing she
thinks will help her. He asks for her trust, but he’s never delivered what she’s
asked for. He’s always been a disappointing monster, and now, he’s a monster on
the outside too. He begs her to stop, and Lauren arrives.
Bo, Rayner,
and Rosette head back to the Order of the Knights Raynide to see if she recognizes
anything that she isn’t suppose to touch. There are horses everywhere, and too
many people to fight. The intruder alarm is sounded, and the trio come out of
hiding. The horse whisperer does not like her much. She tells Bo that she’s
interfering with destiny. Bo walks closer, touching each horse, and the
whisperer becomes agitated, drawing her sword. Rosette takes on the woman, as
Bo and Rayner try to figure out how to
open up the horse. She recites Hale’s poem, and the saddle opens.
Rosette takes down the woman who says that the hand fasting cannot be done. Bo’s
been there done that, with my favorite Loki, and she’s not looking at going down
that aisle again. She asks Rayner if they’re suppose to wed.
Kenzi continues
her mourning. She rips apart the picture of her and Hale, crumpling up Hale’s face.
Bo is glade Kenzi is home. Kenzi asks about her new lady knight. Bo tells her
that she can push her away, but she loves her. Kenzi focuses on her interesting
book. She reads about Bo’s prophecy that mentions everyone but her. Bo tries to
convince her that she is apart of all of them. Kenzi asks her to unclaim her.
Bo thinks that it is her grief, but Kenzi no longer wishes to be there. Rosette
comes with news of Rayner, but Bo tries to quiet her as she convinces Kenzi
that she doesn’t want to leave. Bo refuses to let Kenzi go. Kenzi remains adamant,
and Bo gives in. She unclaims her. Rosette beckons again, and Bo writes a note for
Rayner. Kenzi leaves.
Massimo is
losing his mind. He got her everything that she ever wanted. Massimo tells
Lauren that they will work together, but Lauren tells him that she will not
work with a mad man. He is doing extraordinary things he believes, and he has
the origin seed. Lauren begs him not to eat it. He places it in his mouth and eats
it, as she begs him to stop. The druid falls over in agony as the seed takes
hold.
Rosette
bring Bo to Rayner, and she lights a bond fire. Bo will bind with Rayner and
save his life and deal with her father on her own terms. Rayner thinks that it
is their destiny to bind and fight together for the fae on a mutual quest, and
for the record her tells her that he does love her. Rosette bind their hands
and says the words to bind and align him. Once completed Rosette laughs
manically. She tells them that she will rise with the Wanderer as her soldier
and together they will release the lord of darkness. Bo does not like her
words, as she says that he will rise from Hel, the evil mirror of Valhalla.
Rosette betrayed Rayner, she believes that the Priapas will protect her and
give her power of her own. Something compels Rosette into the flames as she
begs and pleads. Rosette burns and Bo and Rayner’s hand hickies flare. A
doorway has been opened.
