Lost Girl Recap S2E10: Raging Fae
Bo gets her rocks off in a shipping yard while Kenzi makes dinner
plans. Bo needs a little sexual healing after chasing down a renegade goblin,
all healed up Kenzi asks why Bo has been avoiding Trick. Bo spills to her, but
Lauren makes a quick SOS call, and their off with no time to process. Bo or
Kenzi are being tailed.
The girls head off to Lauren’s crime scene, an Ogre has been
manhandled and he claims a human is the culprit. Lauren sees to the Ogre’s
wounds as he spills about the underground Fight Club, ran by a light Fae,
Ferarro. It’s human fighters for the most part, but when one human racked up
too many wins, Ferarro brought in the Ogre to knock him down a peg, but things
didn’t quite work out that way, something a human shouldn’t be able to do. Bo
plans to shut it down, and keep it from the Ash.
Bo turns to Dyson for his assist. He doesn’t believe a human could do
that to an Ogre, or that Ferarro is dirty, being an upstanding pillar of the
community. Dyson’s hands are tied, and Bo prepares to deliver some major
evidence.
Kenzi is gleeful to hear of Bo’s upcoming time in the ring, when their
little tail comes knocking for Beth (Bo). Kenzi plays coy, and she proclaims
that Bo is a monster.
Mikey works hard in the ring, and Bo finds Ferarro. He sees nothing
more than a card girl, and immediately calls her out. She plays tough, and he
wants to test her.
The girl looking for Bo is Kyle’s sister. She’s been looking for Beth
for a long time, after she found her brother’s dead body with a smile on his
face. Kenzi doesn’t believe her story, but the sister isn’t willing to let
sleeping dogs lie.
Bo takes care of Thrasher, and Ferarro is willing to discuss terms.
Once in his office, he’s ready to get down to the point of her visit. He wants
to know her alliances, and just as she’s heard of him, he’s heard of her.
Ferarro asks about the Ogre, and Bo doesn’t gloss over his health. Ferarro has
a back-up plan for Mikey, and gives Bo the fight she asked for.
Kenzi sticks up for her bff, and diverts her calls for help to some
trusted police officers. The lady trusts Kenzi, and lets her pulls the rug over
her eyes.
Bo checks in with Dyson, as she moves to see what makes Mikey tick. He
seems like a normal enough guy, and dodges Bo’s questions. He trains his son
Tyler, who’s less than fond of the kid. Ferarro man handles Mikey until the guy
hulks out, and passes out.
Kyle’s sister, Mel, takes her concerns to Hale, while Kenzi listens
in. Neither knew of Bo’s past, but while Kenzi is ready to fight for Bo, Hale’s
hands are tied a bit since Bo isn’t light. He’s willing to put his sweet Siren
pipes to good use and try to convince Mel that Bo isn’t a monster though that’s
as far as he’ll go.
Bo check on Mikey. He doesn’t remember Hulking out, and knows his
condition is getting worse. He tells her about
his lackluster record, until he started having his blackouts. He doesn’t
care about the cause, since he only has one fight left, if it doesn’t kill him
first. Tyler brings in a Ferarro shake, and Bo takes the evidence to Dyson. Everything
is all happy joy lucky between the two when Bo comes face to face with Mel.
Bo feeling betrayed, and guilty, goes to run. Kenzi kept Mel’s
appearance from Bo to protect her. And for the first time, Bo finally opens up
to Kenzi about her former life. She grew up as a normal farm girl until
puberty, when her powers came in and she sucked the life out of her boyfriend.
After she killed Kyle, her parents finally admitted she was adopted, and Bo ran
away. Bo plans to keep running, but Dyson’s call stops her, and Kenzi unpacks.
Dyson delivers his findings on Mikey’s drink. He’s been drinking fae
frog juice, which gives superhuman strength, but also will cream his insides.
He tells Bo to get him into watch the fight, but Bo is still in flight mode, as
always though Dyson has her covered, and has had Mel put away for the night for
a psych evaluation. It doesn’t bring Bo any comfort, and she’s not up for a battle,
but she doesn’t have a choice. Dyson delivers some sage words of advice, and Bo
reluctantly agrees.
As Bo prepares for her battle, she remember’s Kyle. Kenzi plans to
stay in Bo’s corner no matter where that corner lies, and she walks out with
her and Dyson to the floor. It’s a packed house to watch Bo take on Thrasher,
and although her opponent looks tough, she’s no succubus. Kyle’s death
continues to haunt Bo, and Thrasher nails her pretty good, Bo lets her deliver
some intense brutality. Bo loses the match, and Ferarro isn’t the frog. The
night is a total wash, as Bo refuses to heal, too wrapped up in her pity party.
Lauren tends to her wounds, but she can’t fix the wound Mel’s appearance
reopened. Lauren tries to convince Bo that she isn’t the same person she was.
Lauren is thankful for what she’s given her, and Nadia, but can’t lose Bo as
well.
Dyson takes his finding to Lachlan, and he tells him to stand down
where Ferarro is concerned. His friends really are in high places, but our wolf
boy isn’t likely to back down so easily.
Mel is a little upset with Hale after her psych evaluation.
Bo plans to a big tumble scheme, to take down Ferarro and the Ash.
Dyson sees her plan as long term, but Bo insists that she still plans to leave.
If Ferarro isn’t the frog, the question of who is is still on the table,
leaving only one other person Bo knows of that has access to Mikey’s drinks,
his son. Tyler pours his dad a drink, and squeezes his frog hand juice into the
drink. Dyson finds proof that the son may just be fae, with some old newspaper
clipping, and Bo springs into action to save Mikey before its too late.
Tyler brings the drink to dear old dad, while concerned over his
health, still gives him the drink before he enters the ring. Mikey takes on the
Obsidian Fae, and doesn’t look too bad out of the gate as Bo rushes to the cage
side. Tyler assures Bo that Mikey will be fine, that he gave him his sweat to
make him strong. Tyler tries to stop his
dad from going into rage mode, and he manages to get into the ring just in
time. Ferarro works overtime to shut down the live feed when Tyler exposes
himself, and Mikey calls off the fight. Ferarro isn’t ready for the fight to be
over, but Bo is there to succubus her way to a victory.
Bo apologizes to Kenzi, and decides that she’s done running. She’s
ready to face her demons and Mel.
Dyson takes his findings to Lachlan. Bo has the child and father, and
won’t turn them over unless Lachlan accepts them both. Lachlan doesn’t turn him
down, and Dyson walks away from Ferarro for now.
Bo starts to spill her heart out to Mel over what happened with Kyle,
but Hale’s unsolved murderer story has her beat. Mel has found closure in the
lie, and promises to protect Bo’s secret. Bo is fuming over Hale’s lie, that
Trick orchestrated, but she’s still not looking at the big picture. Her confession
may have brought Mel’s family closure, but it would have blown the cover for
all other fae. Finally Bo confesses the vision, still worried that she’s a
monster.
Thrasher has been a double agent for Lachlan, and he’s come calling on
Ferarro. Ferarro didn’t cut the feed in time, and frog boy made it onto the
internet, but that’s not his only problem. He’s been plagued with dark
appetites, and Lachlan with his mouth of daggers puts an end to him. Ok what
the heck is going on with Lachlan? First the head in the box and now the crazy
teeth, I’m ready for the big reveal already.
