True Blood Recap: Authority Always Wins
Tara is back and she is pissed. Pam stands around as Tara
tosses Sookie against a tree. Lafayette gets tossed, and Sookie gets bitten
before Pam finally intervenes and flexes her Maker muscles. But she’s off to
work, and leaves Tara in Sookie and Lafayette’s hands. Tara goes about
thrashing the house like a raging child. Joy, Tara’s back.
Eric, Bill and Nora get a ride on the vampire hitman bus,
and are delivered to Solome and the Authority. Solome welcomes the pair, while
Nora gets a backhand for trying to weasel her way out. Solome engages the high
tech elevator, and down the rabbit hole they go and finally into separate cells
they end up.
Alcide refuses to take part in the Marcus feast. They call
him a coward for not eating their dead, but they may have gone a little too far
when they continue to nettle Alcide. Martha tells Alcide that Marcus was not
perfect, but he still deserves respect, and as the new packmaster he should at least have a bite. Alcide has
no desire for either, he refuses the position, and to eat the dead. Luna takes
Sam home with little complaint.
Arlene awakens with Terry standing all Paranormal Activity crazy over her. He tells her you’re all going
to die, its coming for us. He has a war flashback, says he’s tired and goes
back to bed.
Tara continues her remodeling of Gran’s kitchen. She
suddenly stops, crouched over the sink, and Sookie tells Lafayette to grab her.
They plan to coax her to eat with some True Blood, she tosses the bottle, and
grabs Lafayette. But since Pam forbade her from biting the pair, she gets a
horrible headache and sets off to demolishing more of the house.
Ginger worries about where Pam’s been, but Pam’s mind drifts to
Eric. San Francisco 1905, Pam is in a whore house, and she goes to check on one
of her girls, who’s been drained. In the present, she calls Eric, and leaves him a message. Sounds like someone misses their maker.
Eric, Bill and Nora get questioned by a voice in their cell.
Bill tries to take full responsibility for everything, the escape, all of it,
but everyone, including a near by prisioner get a sunlight treatment.
Martha comes to visit Luna and Sam, she tries to claim
kinship. Martha tells Luna that Emma is a wolf, but Luna doesn’t care either
way, she wants Emma no where near Martha. After she leaves, Sam tries to talk
to Luna about Martha. Luna makes it clear that he either has her back or he
leaves. She ends up sending her away, and Sam gladly goes.
Tara continues to rage, though Sookie and Lafayette worry
about the impending sunrise. They mean
to get her into Eric’s cubby and soon. Lafayette cuts his arm and asks her to drink, and she
does. Sookie takes silver chains, and wrap them around her neck, subduing her.
They then easily carry her down.
Andy and Jason talk about women problems, when they pair
come across Debbie’s car. Andy finds a vial of V, and for a moment contemplates
pocketing it, but when Jason wonders why Debbie would be so far from Shreveport, Andy shows him the V. Kudos to Andy!
Steven Newlin comes out as a vampire on TV, as Sookie goes
shopping. There’s some great anti vampire stuff in this store. The sale guy goes over a
vampire mister, and Sookie reads some less than savory thoughts as he shows her
his crossbow.
Terry fries up some bacon, as he has another flashback.
When Arlene grabs his shoulder he shoves
her. She pushes to get to the bottom of his latest trauma, but he doesn't want to talk about it, Terry leaves.
Sookie installs her mister, and overhears Lafayette trying
to get the courage to stake Tara. He blames himself for turning Tara into the
thing she hated. Sookie begs Lafayette to give Tara a chance to find herself,
she tells him that Jessica took a while to emerge herself, but she did.
Lafayette gives her the stake.
Steve Newlin spouts a new kind of love that he never did
before. He thought he knew God before, but now he sees that there was a lot of hate going on. Jason watches him, worrying that
Newlin is about to out both of them, but he does not. Newlin claims this new found light in his life is courtesy of a lady. Some kid comes and
punches Jason for breaking up his parents’ marriage. Andy pulls the kid off,
asking if he’s slept with every woman in town, and he admits it’s a pretty high
percentage.
Another Pam flashback with buggies and cobblestone streets.
A man grabs her, and she screams, he pulls a knife on her. Eric kills the man in less than a second. He
notes that she’s not afraid of death, and it intrigues him. He compliments her
dress, and apologizes for the blood. He pays her, and leaves as fast as he
came. She waits until then to weep in the past, but not in the present as she
sits in her coffin.
Bill meets Dieter Braun who is going to be his torturer of
the day. He has a book older than the
bible, the vampire bible. It’s message is obviously pro vampire, where vampires
are supreme and humans are little more than cattle. Dieter wonders where Bill’s
beliefs lie, and when Bill gives an answer that Dieter does not seem to like he
silvers Bill via IV.
Solome is questioning Eric. She tells him that Nora will not
leave here, she will be given the true death. She asks of his pain, but Eric
says nothing. They’re looking for cooperation. And she asks which of them
killed Nan. He plays innocent, and Solome silvers him via IV.
Dieter claims that Eric is singing like a canary. That he is
giving Solome all the information they need. And when Bill refuses to volunteer
anything, other than the fact that he's enjoying Dieter's company, he gets silvered again.
Solome tries to use Dieter’s tricks on Eric, but it works no
better on him than it does on Bill. He gets silvered again.
Giving up, they drag Bill back to his cell.
Jessica prevents a girl from puking in her house at vampire
speed, and finds Steve Newlin at her door. Newlin shows off some hawt dance
moves, and plays up his new persona to Jessica’s college groupies. Newlin wants
a little alone time with Jessica. He
offers her $10,000 for Jason, and Jessica jacks up the price to $20,000. Toying
with Newlin, she gets him to drop fang and agree to the price. The two tussle a
bit, and she tells him that Jason is her friend and not for sale. She throws
him out of her house, and all the college kids who’ve now bored her.
Arlene goes to Patrick for help. She tells him of Terry’s
nightmares. Patrick listens and tries to help. Terry comes by, and sends Arlene
away. Arlene makes it clear to Patrick he needs to fix what’s broken in Terry.
Terry tells him that the man Patrick is looking for isn’t dead, just off the
grid, and the two decide to go looking for him.
Jason goes to Maxine’s house looking for Hoyt. He’s moved
back home. Jason tries to make things right between him and Hoyt, and even
offers him his place. But Hoyt does not want anything. Maxine makes a big show
of hating Jason, while thanking him for splitting up Hoyt and Jessica.
Luna tries to talk to Emma about everything that has
happened tonight, but when she goes into her room, Emma is a wolf, a very cute little puppy.
Tara emerges. She tells her she will never forgive Sookie or
Lafayette. And she leaves, before they can stop her, she gets misted, and runs off.
Mr. Meloni makes his appearance on True Blood! Roman gives a
little sermon and feeds each member of his council a drop of his blood as Eric
and Bill watch. Nora is brought in. And once he’s finished the meeting begins. Roman talks of betrayals, and sends Nora away.
Immediately comes the accusations, rocket launchers on main street, the failure
of the festival of Tolerance. Roman
wants to know where the guys stand. But neither have ever wanted to be in religion or politics. Roman sends it to the councilors, which are divided about their
fates. Roman makes the point that there must be no threats to mainstreaming. He
turns the floor over to Bill and Eric before he makes his sentence. Bill offers
their lives for Russell’s. Nan told the Authority, and the world that Russell
was dead. Eric tells them that Russell is not dead, and whether or not they live
soon, they will see Russell, and he can bring down their whole main streaming
agenda. Roman wants to know why they would
refrain from killing Russell. They did not believe the True Death was enough
punishment for Russell. Roman would like nothing more than to stake Bill, but
he refrains. Russell is a bigger threat, that must be dealt with.
Bodies line the floor, and slowly Russell is coming back to
himself.
