Tom Morello’s Orchid is finally here. Since the teaser posters released shortly before San Diego Comic Con, many have long awaited the release of this one, and its finally upon us.
The world as we know it is gone. After the humans laid waste to the Earth, Mother Nature fought back, and now ferocious new species prey upon the helpless. Humanity has reverted, slave trades and upper classes, the rebellion has all but failed.
Rebel Simon escapes his fate with a legendary mask and meets up with the prostitute Orchid as her life takes another unfortunate turn.
The story definitely delivers. Orchid’s world is quickly set up, and the lost of everything that was is beautifully illustrated in this savage place. A great first outing, I cannot wait to see what comes next. And for the price how can you miss this one? It's a steal!
