Crypticon Seattle 2012 Film Festival Entries

Crypticon's first ever official film festival is ready to start announcing films. It's shaping up to be a great horror fest.  Here are the first three:
It's in the Blood starring Lance Henriksen

It’s In the Blood is an all-together new cinematic movement. At its core a father son story, the film is a deconstruction of the prototypical ‘creature feature’, incorporating elements of mystical realism, and psychological thriller. We call it a Psyche-Saga. One year after a tragic incident tore their family apart, a grieving son (October) and his estranged father (Russell) embark on a journey into the wild to reconcile their past. When a horrifying accident leaves Russell badly injured, and strands them in the wild, it is up to October to save them both. However, this wilderness is not what it seems, and as they deteriorate, so to does their concept of reality. Horrifying creatures, ghostly apparitions, is it all in their heads, or could the truth be far more terrible? Lance Henriksen stars in this nightmarish descent into the very heart of darkness where more than your guilt can eat you alive.

A Haunting On Hamilton Street 2
Starring Brian Harnois (Ghost Hunters/Ghost Hunters International), Father Andrew Calder (Paranormal State), and Steve "Prozak" Shippy (Director & National Recording Artist)
When paranormal investigators seek to solidify eyewitness and media claims of a haunted funeral home, they uncover more than they bargained for: disturbed burial grounds, hostile and territorial entities, and a murderous past.

Broken equipment, personal injury and terrifying encounters with the unseen become all too common as the investigators attempt to communicate with the dead. Join the Seekers as they embark on a journey, which takes them back to the very origin of Hamilton Street and the site of Fort Saginaw - the cities first point of civilization.

In 1962, the Saginaw Road Commission accidentally unearthed an ancient, Indian burial ground below Hamilton Street.
Hundreds of bodies were processed at the Benjamin Mortuary, including some of Saginaw's most prominent figures of the past.
Historians concur: the atrocious injustices and thousands of untimely deaths (due to malaria and territorial murders) could very well set the tone for paranormal activity in Old Saginaw City.

The Collapsed
"Genuinely Shocking!" Great new dark and unpredictable horror thriller coming in 2012!
In the wake of the end of the world, a family of four desperately tries to survive against insurmountable odds. Their goal: escaping the city and traveling to the rural community they once called home, Dover's Bend. The constant threat of a violent death forcing them to stay as far away from civilization as possible, they take to the forest, soon to discover the danger posed by other survivors may be the least of their worries.
