The Third Battleship trailer is out!

Universal Pictures has released the third trailer for Battleship hits the high seas in theaters nationwide May 18.   Taylor Kitsch, Liam Neeson and Rihanna are prominently featured in this new trailer, along with some pretty vicious metallic balls of death that would have made the Phantasm proud. There's a better sense of the global threat facing mankind, and an Independence Day feeling. Take a look at the new footage.

 

As much as I'm kinda starting to love it, I keep waiting for Neeson to say "He sunk my Battleship!" Someone is bound to say it, right?

And Alexander Skarsgard. Can I get more than a second of him in any trailer? His international Battleship poster is the only thing that keeps my attention on this flick. If you haven't seen it, take a gander.

Nice right? Battleship comes to theaters May 18, 2012. Stars Liam Neeson, Taylor Kitsch, Alexander Skarsgård, Brooklyn Decker, Reila Aphrodite, Rihanna, Josh Pence, and Peter MacNichol. The film is directed by Peter Berg.
