Abe is making his way out of the basement, with the help of the previous owner’s ghost. Like all men, after they’ve fallen, he thought he could control the forces that he was unleashing, thought there was something better than what he had. He was wrong on both accounts, hence the big mess that Abe found.
Meanwhile Agent Tasso and Hellboy are off to rescue Abe and the sheriff since neither have been heard from for hours. But as Hellboy knows Abe is more than capable, they just hope to get there in time to help the sheriff.
An excellent conclusion to a fast paced story. Mignola and Arcudi fans will not be disappointed.
