The end of
the world has arrived in the form of a plane full of thought to be dead passengers,
none of them decomposing, their bodies filling with a milky white substance. The
elderly Abraham may be the only man who knows what’s coming, and he’s finally
tracked down Ephraim, who’s in a position to make a difference, but it may be
too late, much too late, especially from the viewpoint of Ansel’s dogs.
Abraham
knows a little too much about the situation, and in Ephraim’s defense Abraham
is a little manic in his need to be heard, to save everyone. But even with this
vital bit of information there is doubt in Ephraim’s mind, the rants of a crazy
man cannot go unheard, or the entire planet is doomed because of inaction.
Ansel took his hunger out on his pets, and
fellow passenger Gabriel has the same inclination, but his pets are of the
human variety, and they’d stand little chance against his hunger if not for his
body guards.
The
murdering kitties’ victim is found, and more clues from the plane are uncovered
thanks to Abraham, but instead of answers they lead to more questions. As night
falls, samples are lost, and all hell is starting to break loose.
Gusto’s dark
uneasy feeling won’t leave him, and his intuition isn’t far off, when his
mistake comes to bite him in the butt.
Hogan and
Del Toro have again delivered another chilling chapter. So much is at stake,
and just when you think the drama can’t get any more intense it does. Mike
Huddleston continues to up the eerie ante with his frightening depictions. This
is one of the best horror stories out there, and should not be missed.
