Kristin Kreuk headed back to the CW

The CW is bringing Kristin Kreuk back, but no not on Arrow that would just be plain silly. Kristin is stepping back into the realm of fairytales, not as Snow White, she’s been there, and done that. Instead TVLine is reporting that Kristin is set to for the Beauty and the Beast reboot.

That’s right the CW is rebooting the classic ’80s series that ran on CBS from 1987 to 1990 and starred Ron Perlman as the mythic man beast and Hamilton as his beauty.

The CW version, written and exec produced by Without a Trace vet Jennifer Levin and Brothers & Sisters‘ Sherri Cooper, will add a contemporized procedural twist. Still no word on who will be Kristin’s beast.

And if anyone is keeping track of upcoming pilots, this isn’t to be confused with ABC’s Beauty and the Beast which will be closer to the Disney version about a girl forced to live in a castle with a beast who eventually wins her heart.
