The Bourne Legacy Trailer
A Bourne without Matt Damon? The whole ideal seems a little bit ludicrous, I mean what's the point if the main character is MIA. But a big plus for the franchise they are aren't just replacing Damon and letting someone just step into the same character. It didn't work well for Batman, not without revamping the whole series, and it wouldn't work here.
Instead of Bourne, the storyline follows another agent, because lets face it the government wasn't going to screw over just one person. Jeremy Renner plays Aaron Cross, another mysterious agent. The tagline is "There was never just one."
Renner joins the program, he becomes an unstoppable force, more than human, Hawkeye, err wrong movie. He's an Outcome agent, like treadstone without the inconsistency. There's action, there's explosions, and lots of guns, oh and there's also Ed Norton, which is only likely going to make me long for this pairing when the Avengers hits theaters.

Synopsis: The narrative architect behind the Bourne film series, Tony Gilroy, takes the
helm in the next chapter of the hugely popular espionage franchise that has
earned almost $1 billion at the global box office: The Bourne Legacy. The
writer/director expands the Bourne universe created by Robert Ludlum with an
original story that introduces us to a new hero (Jeremy Renner) whose
life-or-death stakes have been triggered by the events of the first three
films. For The Bourne Legacy, Renner joins fellow series newcomers Rachel
Weisz, Edward Norton, Stacy Keach and Oscar Isaac, while franchise veterans
Albert Finney, Joan Allen, David Strathairn and Scott Glenn reprise their
roles.
