Tomas Zenk is a man whose been pushed too far. All he’s wanted is for his family to be safe and whole, but to do that he’s had to become something he’d never dreamed he’d be, that he ever could be, a God. The Claws of the Hidden Hand scramble to fix what has been broken, Herzog is even more mystery than before, being not what he seemed to be, and Astaroth isn’t nearly as tough as he seemed, so much for being a big bad lord of hell. He's the yin to Zenk's yang, but what would become of Zenk without him. Will Zenk become as twisted as Astaroth?
As Zenk ascends to his position of power, opposers stand in his way. His decisions chaff at the Claws of the Hidden Hand members, and they realize that the bad days are not behind them, that their messiah has his own mission, and that all they’ve done has been for naught.
Every trip into the Kult world is like taking another crazy tumble down the rabbit’s hole. Just when you think you know where the story is going, it plunges down another path of surprises, laughing manically as it goes. This is one of the best storylines out there.
