If you’re an avid reader of Dark Horse Presents series, then the Beast of Burden three-parter should look familiar.  It follows a group of dogs and cats who just happen to be paranormal investigators, sounds interesting and utterly ridiculous right?

It is completely fun. The dogs and cats team up and chase a goblin with mixed results, they recant the story of a Basilisk battle, and get to the bottom of a herd of mysterious sheep.

Evan Dorkin gives the animals plenty of depth in a short space, and Jill Thompson provides some gorgeous artwork to accompany the captive story.  If you haven’t been following Beast of Burden this is the perfect opportunity to start.
