Horror Movie ‘Chernobyl Diaries’ Trailer, Poster and Photos

So the guy who brought us Paranormal Activity which managed to deliver scares only when it wasn't boring me to death, and the short-lived show The River, is back with Chernobyl Diaries. Something about this flick freaks me out, and it's not the whole lets go sight seeing at the site of a grand catastrophe. Perhaps it's the fact that I'm probably one step away from being these people, because touring Chernobyl is something I would completely do.

So what do you think, am I gonna wet my pants, cause I'm a total wuss when it comes to movies like this, or is Peli gonna put me to sleep?

Synopsis: “Chernobyl Diaries” is an original story from Oren Peli, who first terrified audiences with his groundbreaking thriller, “Paranormal Activity.” The film follows a group of six young vacationers who, looking to go off the beaten path, hire an “extreme tour” guide. Ignoring warnings, he takes them into the city of Pripyat, the former home to the workers of the Chernobyl nuclear reactor, but a deserted town since the disaster more than 25 years ago. After a brief exploration of the abandoned city, however, the group soon finds themselves stranded, only to discover that they are not alone…

The movie will be released to theaters on May 25, 2012.
