MTVu Fanfest

MTVu held its first Fanfest complete with Fandom awards. Petco park filled up quickly with everyone clamoring to get in. There were plenty of hot parties going on that night, and the Fandom Awards was certainly on everyone's list. Before the gates even opened, the line stretched through the gaslamp. The entire show is set to air on July 27th on MTV, so if you weren't there, there are plenty of spoilers below. Consider this your Spoiler Alert.

MTV hosts many award shows throughout the year, but few cater to the fans like this one, and no other award show is held during San Diego Comic Con. There were 32 nominations, and fan voted for their favorites in bracket style categories. Below is the list of nominees and winners.

Tyler Posey was certainly a very energetic host. Although the entire Teen Wolf fandom was given the award for raising the money for the wolf sanctuary I feel that I have to point out that it was called the Sterek Campaign Charity Project. Sterek fans really are the best. But my favorite acceptance was Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Natalie Dormer accepting fort he OMG moment for the purple wedding. Not only did they give the award to someone in the crowd, which seemed fitting, but Natalie was really eloquent and quite impressive. As if there was any doubt that more of her should be seen, she cleared up that up with her presence.

We took a ton of pictures at the event, so if you want to see more, you can check them out here.
