Legendary Comics Creator Len Wein
Joins Long Beach Comic & Horror Con

 

Famed Wolverine co-creator and current 
Ben 10: Omniverse writer
hosts signings and discussions all weekend long


LONG BEACH, CA (October 26, 2012) – With only one week until the highly anticipated kick off of Long Beach Comic & Horror Con 2012, the four-year-old show today announced that the legendary Len Wein will join the convention for the first time. Famous for his storied career in comics and animations, including Swamp Thing, Wolverine, the New X-Men, and Before Watchmen,Wein will be available all weekend long at booth #1806.

“Long Beach used to be a second home for me, so I'm really looking forward to the show. I’ve been keeping busy writing BEFORE WATCHMEN: OZYMANDIAS and BF: EPILOGUE, as wells as episodes of the TV series BEN 10: OMNIVERSE and BEWARE THE BATMAN,” said Wein. “And a new BATMAN story for...well, that's a secret for now. Hope to see everybody there.”

Fans who hope to pry details of Wein’s new project can join him at his booth for signings and discussions of his diverse career. Wein’s contributions to comics include co-creating Swamp Thing, Wolverine, X-Men, and The Human Target, and writing for Justice League America, Amazing Adventures, Green Lantern, Batman, and Before Watchmen.


“We’re so excited to have Len join us this year,” said Phil Lawrence, Co-Founder and Sales Director. “We are looking forward to Len's insights on Watchmen, both past and present, Wolverine, and everything in-between.”


Offering a weekend packed with special guests and exhibitors and engaging panels, Long Beach Comic & Horror Con will be open on Saturday, November 3 from 10:00am to 7:00pm, and from10:00am to 5:00pm on Sunday, November 4.
