The world of
the Occultist is a wild one, and although the sword is doing its damnedest to
protect Rob, whether he wants it to or not, it doesn’t mean he’s in any less
trouble, especially since the lovely Detective is onto him, and in over her
head in his world.
His foes are
numerous, and his back is against the wall as the bounty hunters close in, each
more harrowing than the next. Will Rob survive, and what of his pretty
unsuspecting girlfriend? She runs into the fray with nary a second thought,
which may be her last.
The action
is full kilter in this one, and finally the reason the sword chose Rob is
exposed, but that knowledge may not be enough to save him.
Mike Richardson
and Tim Seeley deliver another epic storyline,
which shows no signs of slowing as it leads into the final part. And Victor
Drujiniu’s art is top notch.
