The bodies pile higher, and Buffy looks even guiltier. Having not taken Xander and Dawn’s advice to work it out with the police, they’re hot on her trail, and Spike isn’t far behind, though he intends to arrest her not send her up the river.

Buffy has
had a rough going. When we last left off, she was on the run from the police,
her friends (some by choice, others forced) to turn their backs on her, a boy able
to kill vampires with the simple touch of their hand and leaving human bodies
behind, and oh yeah, she was in that boy’s house where he was looking to steal
her powers.
Poor Buffy,
she always has it rough, and that’s just the way we like it.

Each issue
of Freefall is better than the last.
Things finally start to look up for the slayer, when she gets help from an
unlikely source, but in the world of Buffy shining moments don’t last, and I’m
sure if she’s about to hit another downward spiral, and I for one cannot wait
to see it.
