Recap: Teen Choice Awards!

The Teen Choice Awards are here!
The Kardashians open the show by announcing Will I Am. Maybe it’s because I’m sitting at home watching it, but he sounds horrible. It feels like the Super Bowl all over again.
The host Kaley Cuoco is looking adorable as she tries hyping up the crowd, getting intermittent screams from the crowd. She has some fun with Tyler Posey, before she finally introduces the sexy cast of the Vampire Diaries, Paul Wesley, Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder present for Choice movie actor Romantic comedy: Ashton Kutcher takes home the surf board, beating out Josh Duhamel, Penn Bagley, and Adam Sandler. Ummm, did anyone else see Fergie’s reaction to Ashton winning? All I can say is wow. Ashton closes his acceptance speech by singing Katy Perry’s Teenage Dream, and the crowd sings along.
Zooey Deschanel and Shaun White present for Choice Comedian Daniel Tosh, George Lopez, Ellen Degeneres, Andy Sandberg, Jimmy Fallon. Ellen takes the win, and is absolutely adorable in her acceptance speech.
Kaley comes back from commercial at the DJ booth. Katie and Megan interview LL Cool  J, kinda. Its mostly them chatting back and forth, with LL having little to do or say, that little segment was completely lost on me.
Choice movie actor Sci-fi/fantasy Taylor Lautner is up to present next. Choice TV actress Drama, Blake Lively, Olivia Wilde, Josie Maran, Emily Deschanel, Shailene Wooley. Blake wins and she also accepts for Choice TV Drama in which Gossip Girl won. Her acceptance speech is mostly for Gossip girl, but its short and sweet.

Kellan Lutz and Ashley Green, winners of Scene Stealers in Movie for the second year in a row, thank their fans and announce Selena Gomez has won Choice  awards. For Choice Actress for Wizards of Waverly Place, Choice Hottie female, Selena and the Scene win Choice band, and Choice single of the year, and Choice love song. She comes out and sings Love You Like a Love Song. The acoustics sound a little off, but she doesn’t sound completely horrible. And her dress, which reminds me of a mullet (short in the front, and long in the back) looks amazing on her.

Kaley is back in the crowd, asking about the debt ceiling this time, and he actually answers. As much as I love Kaley, these little bits are not working for me. Cat Deeley and LL Cool J get to award Teen Choice Hissy fits. Mark Wahlberg the Other Guys, Ed Helms Hangover 2, Robert Downey Jr Due Date, Kristen Wiig Bridesmaids. Ed Helms wins!
Katie LaClerc and Vanessa Marano welcome Poreotics to the stage.

Gillian Jacobs and Joel McHale announce for choice TV show  Sci-Fi/ Fantasy Fringe, Smallville, Supernatural, Vampire Diaries, Teen Wolf. Of course Vampire Diaries walk away with the awards. Paul Wesley, Choice Actor and Actress in a Sci-Fi/Fantasy Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder  Choice Scene stealers Tv Michael Trevino and Cat Graham accept the award.
Maggie Q is accompanied by the Miz and John Cena for choice TV Comedy, and Cory Montieth is Choice TV actor in a comedy, and Darren Criss is choice break out. After a little acceptant speech they give a preview of Glee 3D.

Zachary Levi rocks the pink trimmed running shorts, pink knee high socks and Nerd gear. He challenges her to ping pong, after a quick game where Kaley wins, out come Rebecca Black and Lucas Neff. Choice Action Movie Fast Five, and Choice Actor and Actress in Action Movie Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie, Choice Music Stars of the Summer Bruno Mars and katy Perry, Choice reality show Jersey Shore, Choice Male Reality Paulie D.

Choice Actress in a Romantic Comedy Emma Stone, again a beautiful Redhead, comes to award Taylor Swift for ultimate choice, female artist, female country artist, country single, break up song, and red carpet fashion icon.

Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Tom Felton come out to announce for Choice movie actress comedy Kristen Wiig, Eve Mendez, Cameron Diaz, Maya Rudolph, Anna Faris. Cameron Diaz takes home the surfboard.
Avril Lavigne and Nikki Reed  introduce Jason DeRulo. Whatever sound problems they were having earlier, Jason sounds amazing.
All Star Weekend bring back the Poreotics, where Kaley crashes through the dance. She brings out the next presenters Tyler Posey and Charice. Demi Lovato wins Choice Song of the Summer for Sky Scrapper, and the Acuvue Inspire Award.
Tyra Banks talks about Sean Kingston’s horrible accident, and recovery, welcoming him to the stage.Choice Music Male Artist Cee-Lo Green, Jason DeRulo, Enrique Inglesias, Justin Beiber, Bruno mars.  Bieber wins. He also wins Choice TV Villian, Choice Twit, Choice Male Hottie.
Kaley welcomes Joe Jonas and Rachel Bilson to award the Choice Vampire with vampire teeth and all. Rachel and Joe touch on cancer bites, their campaign begins on Halloween. Nina Dobrev, Robert Pattinson, Paul Wesley, Nikki Reed, Ian Somerhalder, Alexander Skarsgard. I’m a little sad that Robert won, but I can’t say I’m surprised. All I have to say is What’s with the hair? Robert talks more about blood cancer and Cancer Bites, the #1 cancer for teens and young adults.
Shane West and Lucy Hale welcome OneRepublic to the stage. These guys sound amazing, but then they always do.
Jason Bateman and Elizabeth Banks after dropping their perspective film names, finally announce Choice Movie actor Drama Robert Pattinson, Jesse Eisenberg, Cam Gigandet, Bradley Cooper, Shia LaBeouf. Robert Pattinson wins. The crowd goes wild, but there’s no sign of a smile when the camera finds Nikki Reed.
Zoe Saldana and Chris Hemsworth, best combo presenters in my opinion, present for the final Harry Potter awards. Choice Movie Sci-fi/Fantasy, Choice summer Movie, Choice Summer Movie Star Male and female (Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson), Choice Actress Sci-fi fantasy (Emma Watson), Choice lip lock (Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson), Choice villain (Tom Felton). Rupert Grint and Tom Felton accept the awards. And Daniel appears via satellite. With that the awards show is done. Congratulations to all the winners!

Comic Con Day 4: Supernatural and the wrap up

The fourth and final day of Comic Con is here. And that means its Supernatural time! But also the last day of the show which is both a godsend (because I'm a little exhausted) and sad (because I'm going to miss the chaos). Smallville came out first, but they weren't signing autographs, which seemed like a big tease since not only was it Tom Welling's first appearance, but they'd also announced it was the final season.

The lovely Erica Durance and Cassidy Freeman accompanied him.

Signing for the day for Supernatural was: Ben Edlund, Misha Collins, Sera Gamble, Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, Eric Kripke, and Jim Beaver.

The actual lineup for signing went much smoother, than previous days.

But there was less time to chat with the stars during the signing.
I had a short chat with Misha. He was at the Syfy/EW party, but he didn't do any fan pictures. He said he was told that he couldn't by his handlers, and when he saw Jensen with us, it was too late, he was already through the doors, and they wouldn't let him back out. Sounds like a conspiracy to me!

Jensen remembered me from the day before, and I proceeded to knock the few things on the signing table over. Because I'm graceful and cool under pressure. After knocking over his name plate for the third time, he teased, "Maybe you should just take it." Me: "Maybe I will." Him: "Do you want it?" Me: "Can I have it?" Him: "Sure I don't know what we're suppose to do with them." So I proceeded to collect them down the line, with a simple "Can I have yours, Jensen gave me his."

Supernatural wasn't the only ones signing that day. So was Glee over at the Fox booth. The signing featured: Chris Colfer, Kevin McHale, Amber Riley, Jenna Ushowitz, Naya Rivera, and Heather Morris.

After snapping a few pictures I ran upstairs to catch the end of the Phineas and Ferb signing, and just made it into Kick Buttowski to close the show. I'm not sure what I was expecting from the the Kick Buttowski panel but they were a very funny bunch. They shared a little about what's to come, we got a glimpse of some new characters, how Kendall just may be Kick's soul mate, and how the creator Sandro Corsaro pulls many of the characters from his own life, like the character Brad is based off a friend's older brother who actually uses the word dillweed religiously. My daughter absolutely adores the cartoon, and both Charlie Schlatter who voices Kick (and the Honey Nut Cheerios Bee) and Matt Jones who voices Gunther were nice enough to record a little shout out for her to listen to when I got home. Thanks for a great time Comic Con, see you next year. XOXO If you're dying to see more pictures check out our Flickr album!
