Bernie has a poster

Synopsis:
In the tiny, rural town of Carthage, TX, assistant funeral director Bernie Tiede was one of the town’s most beloved residents.  He taught Sunday school, sang in the church choir and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Everyone loved and appreciated Bernie, so it came as no surprise when he befriended Marjorie Nugent, an affluent widow who was as well known for her sour attitude as her fortune. Bernie frequently traveled with Marjorie and even managed her banking affairs. Marjorie quickly became fully dependant on Bernie and his generosity and Bernie struggled to meet her increasing demands. Bernie continued to handle her affairs, and the townspeople went months without seeing Marjorie. The people of Carthage were shocked when it was reported that Marjorie Nugent had been dead for some time, and Bernie Tiede was being charged with the murder.

In this dark comedy, director Richard Linklater captures all the hilarity, friendliness, eccentricity and absolute strangeness of small-town Texas life.  Jack Black plays Bernie Tiede, Shirley MacLaine plays Mrs. Nugent, and Matthew McConaughey plays the town’s blustery real-life District Attorney, Danny Buck Davidson, who was determined to get to the bottom of the crime.  Co-written by Linklater and Skip Hollandsworth, BERNIE is a Mandalay Vision and Wind Dancer Films production.

Frankenweenie has a new Poster

From creative genius Tim Burton (“Alice in Wonderland,” The Nightmare Before Christmas”) comes “Frankenweenie,” a heartwarming tale about a boy and his dog. After unexpectedly losing his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life—with just a few minor adjustments. He tries to hide his home-sewn creation, but when Sparky gets out, Victor’s fellow students, teachers and the entire town all learn that getting a new “leash on life” can be monstrous.

The film is based on a 1984 short that Tim Burton directed.

Burton has recruited a voice cast that includes some newcomers along with a batch of his regular acting ensemble: Winona Ryder, Catherine O’Hara, Martin Short, Martin Landau, Atticus Shaffer, Charlie Tahan and Robert Capron.

New Trailer: Disney/Pixar's BRAVE

A strong female lead, finnally. Yes, Rapunzel in Tangled was a strong character, but she did have her male sidekick, Flynn. I've been waiting for a strong female lead for a while. It's been a long time Disney/Pixar. Brave is shaping up to be the next critically acclaimed and loved by all animated movie. I can barely wait til June 22nd. Enjoy this short scene fron BRAVE.

First Look at Hansel and Gretel Witch Hunters

Jeremy Renner may be hitting the screens this summer, but take a first look at him as Hansel. Yep you read that right, he'll be playing Hansel in the upcoming Hansel and Gretel Witch Hunters, and the beautiful Gemma Arterton will be stepping in as Gretel. The flick takes place 15 years after that nasty gingerbread incident and the pair are now bounty hunters looking for revenge.

Famke Janssen also stars, and its directed by Tommy Wirkola. The movie will be released to theaters January 11, 2013.

From the sounds of it, this is definitely not one for the kiddies. The film is keeping with its Grimm beginnings, and there will be a few flashbacks of the psyche damaging nearly getting eaten by a cannibal witch. It's very dark, very twisted, and there are more than a few choice curse words, and I don't mean bippity boppity boo.

Lost Girl Season 2 starts right after Season 1, and Sh*t Kenzi says

Good golly Miss Molly, this may be the best news I’ve heard all day!

Just one week after Season 1 of "Lost Girl" ends on April 9th, Syfy will begin running Season 2 episodes (i.e., on April 16th at 10:00 pm). You heard that right, no waiting months on end for one of my favorite shows to return, we all will get more instantly. I know, I know, that means we’ll have to wait still for season three, but hey, Lost Girl was picked up for a third season, so I can’t be too mad about that.

In support of the new 22-episode season, the network has shared with us two highlight videos featuring Bo's sidekick Kenzi.

Being Bo’s sidekick isn’t the only thing she’s good at; it’s also her humorous one-liners. Check out some of the best Kenzi moments below, and keep watching "Lost Girl" on Syfy from now through the summer with the new season kicking off with a nomadic Fae sideshow taking advantage of the chaos created by the bombing of the Light Fae headquarters.

 Series Synopsis:
Raised by human parents, Bo had no reason to believe she was anything other than the girl next door -- until she “drained” her first boyfriend to death. Bo has since hit the road alone and afraid. She discovers she is one of the Fae, creatures of legend and folklore who pass as humans while feeding off them in secret, as they have for millennia. She is faced with choosing an allegiance between the Dark or Light Fae clans. Bo decides to take the middle path between humans and the Fae while embarking on a personal mission to unlock the secrets of her origin, protecting humans along the way.

"Lost Girl" stars Anna Silk ("The Ghost Whisperer") as supernatural seductress Bo . Silk's co-stars are Kris Holden-Ried as Dyson, a shape-shifting Fae, homicide detective, and Bo’s love interest; Ksenia Solo as Kenzi, Bo’s human confidante and a street-smart survivor; Zoie Palmer as Lauren, a human doctor who competes for Bo’s heart; Rick Howland as Trick, the mysterious owner and bartender at The Dal Riata tavern with a secretive past that is yet to be unlocked; and K.C. Collins as Hale, a handsome male “Siren” who is the eternal bachelor, ultimate wingman, and Dyson’s partner on the force. Emmanuelle Vaugier guest stars as “The Morrigan”, the leader of the Dark Fae. The series creator is Michelle Lovretta.
