NYCC: Marvel's Daredevil Brings New Characters and Teases for Season 3

With the "Daredevil" season 3 premiere coming up fast (October 19), Netflix sent the cast and crew to Madison Square Garden to put on a panel for New York Comic Con attendees. From familiar faces Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock), Vincent D'Onofrio (Wilson Fisk), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page), Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson), and new additions Jay Ali (Agent Rahul "Ray" Nadeem), Joanne Whalley (Sister Maggie), and Wilson Bethel (Agent Benjamin "Sex" Poindexter), there are many excellent performances to look forward to, the most latter of which received an extra tease in a brand new trailer:

Yes, that's right! Your eyes aren't fooling you. As confirmed by the panelists, season 3 will introduce the iconic villain Bullseye (last seen in live-action portrayed by Colin Farrell). This time, actor Wilson Bethel will be taking on the role and in order to get into the Comic Con spirit, he emerged with a crudely drawn on bullseye in the centre of his forehead.

The return of Wilson Fisk as a more prominent figure will also prove highly dynamic, since he spent season 2 mostly locked up in prison while other characters maintained a larger presence in the ongoing stories.

With 4000 fans in attendance at the panel, and even more tuning in worldwide via social media posts and other updates, the anticipation for this latest season is downright palpable.

Season 3 begins with Matt Murdock having been missing for months since his supposed death in the season finale of the crossover series "The Defenders". When he finally does return to the public, or at least to those he was once close to, his spirit is very much broken from his accumulated traumas. The catalyst towards Matt deciding whether to return to heroism is the release of Wilson Fisk from prison. There is no doubt that Fisk poses a danger to the well-being of those who reside in Hell's Kitchen, and it is up to Matt to stop him.

The Punisher S01E13 "Memento Mori" Recap

Lieberman and Madani bring a badly wounded Castle to Madani's father, a doctor. They can't bring him to the hospital because then police will surely ask questions and take him into custody, putting him at risk of being hunted down by Billy before he is ready to fight him off. One of Frank's many injuries is a broken rib that has puncture his lung but Madani's father is able to drain the fluid so Frank can breathe again. While Madani's father continues to tend to Frank's wounds, Billy patches up his own injuries from the fight. Billy kills some agents that were sent to bring him in.

Frank leaves Madani's place after being patched up and learning that Billy got away. Madani is reprimanded for letting Frank go, despite her claims that he overpowered her and escaped. But ultimately she convinces them that they're better off not having Castle or Lieberman in custody since they have plenty to say about the agency's misdeeds. Lieberman reunites with his family in protective custody.

Billy snakes into Hoyle's house and takes him captive to lure Frank out. Frank begins shooting up the place with a sniper rifle and in the commotion Billy manages to land a shot in Hoyle's shoulder. Frank calls Hoyle, who passes Billy the phone so they can talk. The two agree to meet that night at midnight at the carousel where Frank's family died. Madani is able to trace Frank's phone to the carousel and decides to pursue him despite Hernandez and James ordering her not to take any further action besides writing up her report.

Frank arrives at the carousel and stakes it out, discovering that Billy has taken two young carnival-workers hostage, wounded them, and tied them up to the horses. Billy calls Frank and warns him that the two of them are bleeding out and it's up to Frank to save them. Frank and Billy begin to shoot at each other, eventually making it onto the carousel. Frank manages to shoot Billy in the cheek, but Billy threatens to shoot the kids if Frank doesn't come out. Billy begins to shoot at Frank but gets distracted by Madani showing up. Billy shoots her and Frank attacks Billy. The two fight viciously until Frank eventually manages to get the upper hand. Frank decides to not kill Billy, instead cutting up his face with glass so that he will have to live disfigured instead of having his pretty face to rely on.

Frank is taken into custody and is told that he's been given a pass to go free without being pursued by law enforcement. Madani and Russo are brought to the hospital with both surviving their injuries, though it may be some time before either can be active once more. Frank's freedom was also pushed along due to Madani's request. Now he has a new chance at life like never before. Russo is officially set to be reprimanded for his crimes, while Lieberman is freed and returned to his family. Finally, Frank decides to join Hoyle's support group for veterans.

Frank reveals that he was the one to kill Madani's old partner, though he was merely following orders as he didn't know at the time how corrupt the team he was working with was. Lieberman and Leo have been taken into protective custody but Lieberman agrees to go with Frank to do an exchange of themselves to free Sarah and Zach from Billy's captivity. During the exchange, Billy calls Castle and reveals that he hasn't been able to unlock Lieberman's computers which contain all the files on Cereberus and Rawlins. Lieberman is revealed to be alive, as his death was supposed to be faked as part of the deal he made with Madani to give his full statement.

Rawlins arrives at the base and begins to beat Frank, wanting to get his own revenge for the injury Frank inflicted on him many years ago on the mission. Later, Frank agrees to give Billy the information he needs to unlock the computer under the condition that Billy will be the one to kill him since Billy has promised to make it quick. Frank enters a code and his own retinal scan and then the computer is unlocked. The team will now be able to delete the information on the hard drives, not knowing that Lieberman has already copied everything and given it to Madani. Frank is able to attack Rawlins with a hidden knife before he is once again knocked out.

When Frank wakes, Rawlins begins to beat and torture him once again. Billy tells him to stop, saying he made a promise to be the one to kill him. Neither of them know that when Frank activated the scan that he'd be activating a security feed. After a certain period of time, Lieberman asks Madani for access to her computer and pulls up the security feed. Everything is being recorded, since Frank wanted to be the one to kill them but if he wasn't able to do tat he wanted to make sure there'd be enough evidence to put Rawlins and Billy away. Rawlins and Billy get into an argument and Billy says that he should've let Frank kill him in the tent. Billy goes over to Frank and holds his gun to Frank's head. Rawlins pulls his own gun on Billy and orders him to stand down instead of stopping him from killing Frank. What Rawlins doesn't know is that Billy has cut the ties keeping Frank's hands bound.

Rawlins injects Frank with adrenaline to rouse him out of his drowsy state. Rawlins prepares to cut one of Frank's eyes out as a quid-pro-quo for the eye Frank made him lose. But Frank is able to break free and stab and beat Rawlins to death while Billy stands back, watching. Frank's final move is to gauge both of Rawlins' eyes out with his thumbs. Billy is prepared to go through with his own personal mission of killing Frank to cover his tracks but Madani arrives in time to stop this, since Lieberman gave her the location of the base in order to see Frank.

The Punisher S01E10 "Virtue of the Vicious" Recap

Wilson kils a random man for access to his apartment in order to try to go after Senator Stan Ori. Ori is a strong anti-gun advocate in the midst of preparing a fundraiser for victims of the bombings. Ori hires Anvil to act as his personal security but Wilson still makes it past them to launch an attack on both him and Karen, who had been meeting with Ori at the same time. Castle arrives to fight off Wilson and even jumps in front of a bullet to protect Karen, though he remains unharmed from it due to wearing a protective vest.

Madani visits Rafael Hernandez, her superior, and shares all the information she has compiled. In turn, he tells her that all of the men from the warehouse were ex-Anvil. Madani visits the hotel to confront Russo about this revelation. This is the same hotel where the fundraiser is set to take place and Karen has met Ori for their interview.

Castle pursues Wilson through the hotel, as he's still holding Karen hostage while wearing an explosive belt. Wilson brings Karen into an elevator and Madani corners Frank in a stairwell. Billy finds them and tries to shoot Frank but the bullet only grazes the side of Frank's head. Frank hears Billy's voice as he talks with Madani, the ex-lovers now pointing guns at one another. Madani realises through this that Billy is the one that killed Stein. Some other law enforcement officers arrive and interrupt the stand-off, leaving Frank no time to fully process the revelation that his so-called friend had tried to shoot him. Frank escapes the agents and resumes his pursuit of Wilson and Karen.

Castle corners Wilson and Karen in the kitchen. He tries to convince Wilson to let Karen go while secretly telling her she need to pull the white wire on the device to disarm it. He continues to talk to Wilson while secretly communicating with Karen until she can grab the correct wire. When she finally manages to pull it she also grabs her gun to shoot Wilson in the foot. Wilson then locks himself in a freezer where Frank can't get into it. Wilson rearms the device and blows himself up. Frank pulls Karen away so the two are mostly stunned from the explosion with only a few new scratches to show from it. Frank's other wounds are from his fighting guards and pursuing Wilson through the hotel.

Karen pretends to be Frank's hostage so they can get away in an elevator, as there are armed guards waiting for them in the hallway. Castle escapes through the upper hatch in the elevator, and Karen gives her statement of the events (minus her aiding Castle's escape) to Detective Sgt. Brett Mahoney who was assigned to the case.

The Punisher S01E09 "Front Toward Enemy" Recap

Madani is still traumatised following the death of her partner, Stein, so her mother comes to look after her. Unbeknownst to her, Castle and Lieberman are watching her to try to determine whether she is not corrupt so they can inform her about Rawlins. During a stakeout, some of Wilson's bombs begin going off throughout the city. Several people are killed with many more being injured.

Wilson had chosen targets he perceived to be against guns, and explains his manifesto in a letter he sends to Karen Page in the hopes that she will advocate for his twisted cause against a system he despises. Wilson also hopes that Karen will publish his letter in the paper she works for. Instead, she denounces his actions in an article, which Castle reads and becomes concerned for her safety. He and Liberman listen in as she continues to disavow him on a radio interview during which Wilson calls in anonymously and makes threats against her. Castle recognises Wilson's voice, remembering having met him during a visit to Hoyle's support group, and tasks Lieberman with tracking Wilson's location.

Hoyle also heard the call and recognises Wilson's voice so he tries to go after him and stop him from hurting anyone else. Along the way, he finds the other support-group member, O'Connor, whom Wilson had murdered. When Hoyle finally finds Wilson and tries to stop him, the two get into a brutal fight in which Wilson beats Hoyle with his own fake leg and sets up another bomb on him.

Castle tracks down where to search for Wilson with the help of Lieberman but first calls Karen to check in and make sure she is safe. She deduces that he knows more about the bomber than he is telling her and tries to convince him not to act as a vigilante but Castle won't be swayed. He finds the wounded Hoyle, who has the bomb strapped on him, and gets a call from Wilson. Castle is eventually able to convince Wilson to disarm the bomb but not before he calls the police to the scene. Castle is pursued by officers and has his face caught on a security camera.

Lieberman approaches Madani and gives her information about Rawlins being corrupt and involved in the investigation she has going on. Meanwhile, the media reports on Castle being alive and accuse him of being the bomber.

Billy visits his mother in the psychiatric hospital where he keeps her tended to. When the nurse leaves them alone together he talks about the difficult week he's had and the old friend that's back in town (Frank Castle). He continues to vent and open up to her but eventually injects her with a drug that she is addicted to.

Castle and Lieberman identify Rawlins with the computer system. The cameras in Lieberman's home that he uses to monitor his family go down so he sends Castle to the house to find out what has happened to them.

Billy hooks up with Madani again and opens up to her about growing up in the foster system and his hard childhood.

Castle apologises to Lieberman's wife Sarah for missing the family dinner he had promised to come to. While they catch up, she shares how she disconnected the house's internet connection as a punishment for her son Zach's misbehaviour, which accounts for the surveillance cameras not working. Castle reconnects the internet and drinks with Sarah, after which she kisses him and they both admit that doing so was just a mistake. She asks Castle to help with Zach, making him realise that Zach needs a father figure to give him some stability and structure in his life. When Castle returns to Lieberman, the two get drunk together and exchange stories of how they met and got together with their wives. Castle later returns to help with Zach after Sarah tells him she found a knife in Zach's bag.

Since Madani found the bug in her office and is aware of some unknown enemy watching her, she releases fake plans to be found by them. Billy brings a team of mercenaries to a run-down warehouse because of the intel from this plan but they are quickly ambushed by agents from Homeland Security. The entire team is killed but Billy is able to get away without being seen by Madani, killing Stein along the way.

His father implores him to take some sleeping pills and look after himself. Wilson goes down to the basement and considering killing himself before removing his gun from his mouth.

Billy visits Madani and claims to not believe that Frank Castle is really alive. She remains undeterred despite his saying that he reached out to contacts to try to get proof of his being alive. After Billy leaves, Madani realises that Henderson was only targeted after she had began her investigation of him. This leads to grow suspicious that her office may be bugged and upon searching it with Stein, they find one.

Castle and Lieberman are preparing to go after their next target, Col. Morty Bennett. Bennett had been one of the leaders of Cerberus. Rawlins and Billy meet in secret and are suspicious that this will be Castle's next move. They also discuss Madani's ongoing investigation into the criminal activities they were involved with. Rawlins is unconcerned about Madani, believing that she has no leads that could prove problematic for them. Rawlins also berates Billy for not killing Castle when he had the chance.

Castle gets into the military base where Bennet is living and interrupts him having a session with a hired dominatrix. Billy, having anticipated this attack, raids the building with other soldiers in tow. Lieberman warns him of their arrival, as he is monitoring the building with his surveillance equipment. Castle fights Billy and the other soldiers, never knowing that Billy is one of the men he is fighting since Billy's face is hidden behind a mask. Lieberman spends this time hacking into Bennet's phone. Castle is able to escape but has to injure a young solider on his way who tries to stop him, not wanting to kill someone he sees as an innocent pawn in a larger, corrupt scheme.

Meanwhile, Wilson is shown to be making some homemade explosive devices for a yet unknown, insidious purpose.

Castle and Lieberman track Bennet's phone to Rawlins. Rawlins orders Billy to kill Bennet. Once Castle tracks down Rawlins, he attempts to assassinate him from afar with a sniper rifle but his home protects him, as he has bullet-proof glass in the window.

The Punisher S01E05 "Gunner" Recap

Lieberman is upset at Frank for risking exposure by saving Madani but Frank doesn't regret saving her life. Frank returns to Lieberman's home to help patch up the family car. Madani is feeling guilty over her mission going wrong despite being advised that she did everything she could to the best of her ability and no one blames her for it.

Frank and Lieberman determine they need to find Gunner Henderson, who was another one of Frank's former squad-mates. Henderson had been the one to film the video of Zubair's execution.

Madani meets with Karen Page who's is curious about the incident down at the docks with the car explosion. She hasn't decided whether or not she'll be writing a story on it though since she needs more information on the matter. Madani admits that Wolf was dirty, off the record. Karen won't explicitly admit that she knows Frank is still alive but subtly suggests that it's best to leave him alone to do his (revenge) business. Madani later tells her partner Stein that Frank is still alive but this information needs to be kept secret until she can figure out what to do about it.

CIA Director of Covert Operations William Rawlins is shown to be eavesdropping on Madani and Stein's conversation about the names of soldiers she wants him to investigate. Rawlins is the "Agent Orange" whom Frank attacked and blinded during a botched mission overseas with the super secret squad. He is also awarded a medal of honour and the promise of a potential promotion to deputy director when the current one retires.

Karen meets with Frank and tells him about her meeting with Madani. Frank admits to having pulled Madani out of a car. The two end up arguing as Karen is worried about Frank, wanting him to be able to have a lie after all this revenge business is finished, while he remains determined to stop these evil men and protect the people that are still alive that he does care about, including Karen herself.

Frank and Lieberman track Henderson down in rural Kentucky where he's been hiding out isolated in the woods. Henderson begins shooting arrows at Frank, forcing him to hide until he identifies himself and insists he's not part of the conspiracy against them. Eventually, Henderson believes him and is willing to give Frank the names he has, which is all Frank wants. Henderson shares how he realised what they were doing was wrong because a young man that was killed ended up having his body used to smuggle heroin into the States. The people present included the colonel, Bennett, and Agent Orange.

Frank and Henderson are alerted to a team of mercenaries coming after them, having been sent by Rawlins. Their mission is to kill Henderson before DHS can find him and learn what he knows. Frank helps Henderson to fight off and kill the mercenaries while Rawlins is shocked to see Frank alive and well on one of the men's surveillance body cameras. Lieberman helps Frank by feeding him information from a drone he has flying above the fight in the woods. Frank and Henderson are able to eventually kill all of the mercenaries but Henderson is mortally wounded, while Frank is also injured but still alive. Frank also speaks into one of the body cameras to let the viewer know that he's coming for them, not knowing that it's Rawlins (Agent Orange) watching.

Frank was supposed to have dinner with Lieberman's family but misses the get-together because of the mission. He says goodbye to Henderson in his dying moments and collapses in the woods from his own injuries. Lieberman finds his body and brings him back to New York City.

Madani goes out for drinks with Billy Russo again and invites him back to her place to have sex. He is taken aback when he sees her injuries once he starts to undress her but she won't be deterred.

The Punisher S01E03 "Kandahar" Recap

Frank has Lieberman naked and tied to a chair to be interrogated. A strange noise sounds and Lieberman reveals that the place is rigged and there's only three minutes until the place explodes unless Lieberman enters a code and retinal scan to disarm the security measure. Frank warns him not to try anything or else he will kill him. Frank undoes one of his wrist ties and permits him to enter the code and retinal scan before re-binding his wrist. Frank didn't find any bombs when he secured the perimeter of the place but Lieberman is insistent that the threat is real. Lieberman shares how he was an NSA analyst that was sent some footage of the interrogation and murder that Madani has been investigating. He was the one that originally sent her the footage that ignited her desire to uncover the truth. Then not long afterwards, Lieberman was out with his family and spotted some armed men coming after him so he got out of the car and fled on foot until he was cornered on the ledge over the river, shot, and fell in all while his wife saw the entire encounter after following him. The cell phone he had in his pocket was what saved his life since it was over his heart and kept the bullet from killing him.

Madani is stressed by a jurisdictional dispute with the NYPD and FBI while also wracked with guilt over Wolf's death.

Frank has flashbacks to his time as a soldier in Afghanistan serving alongside Billy. They were members of a covert assassination squad led by an "Agent Orange" who are all tasked with executing Zubair before he can reveal their existence to outsiders. Frank was the one to pull the trigger but it was at the order of the man in charge that lied when translating what Zubair was saying.

In the present, Billy and Curtis drink at Frank's grave, remembering the days of them serving together. Billy asks Curtis why Frank didn't come to them for help and Curtis responds that Frank didn't want to bring them into things but merely wanted to enact his revenge himself. Frank is still interrogating Lieberman, who eventually knocks Frank out during one of the instances of him typing the code in since his pen was revealed to have a secret tranquilizer hidden within it. Frank is knocked out while Lieberman is able to free himself.

Lewis Wilson, one of the veterans in Curtis' support group, has nightmares from his time serving and nearly shoots his dad when he jolts awake. Wilson's father embraces him and assures him everything is going to be okay.

Madani's new partner Sam Stein tells her about some intel that shows that Wolf had $30 million hidden in offshore accounts. This is the breakthrough Madani needs to be able to trust him.

In another flashback to Afghanistan, the squad is ordered to raid a compound based off some of Organe's intel but the mission goes horribly wrong and many of their members are lost. Frank is enraged by Orange's flippant attitude towards the men and their lives so Frank loses his temper and attacks him, resulting in him being blinded in his left eye. Billy pulls Frank aside and says that he is requesting a transfer back and Frank needs to decide what he wants to do.

Lieberman was framed as a traitor to the public by Wolf and the others involved in covering up this operation. He and Frank discuss the matter when he wakes up and determine they must work together to take down the people that destroyed their lives.

The Punisher S01E02 "Two Dead Men" Recap

Frank Castle rides on a ferry and remember when he took a similar trip with his kids. He heads to a local diner and orders some breakfast before the waitress gets a call on the diner phone that's for him. The caller is from a man who calls himself Micro that wants his help. He knows Castle by name and that he's pretending to be dead. He had previously left a disk at Frank's house and says they can meet eventually. Frank leaves quickly hoping to track down whomever this Micro person is. He is quick to determine where he believes Micro was calling him from but open getting to that particular rooftop Micro is already gone, having only left behind a phone on which he can reach him.

Frank later watches the disk that Micro had sent of a man being interrogated by military men. The man pleads that he isn't a terrorist but the interrogator threatens him that his family will be killed if he doesn't stop talking. The interrogator is the only one that can speak the man's language and he gives the order to the other men to execute the man.

Frank visits Curt to tell him that a man named Micro is coming after him and wants to know if he has let anything slip regarding Frank and the fact that he is still alive. Meanwhile, Madani is still investigating her former partner's death, as she has received the same interrogation tape that Frank had been watching.

Frank tracks down Karen Page to ask for her help regarding Micro. She is able to help him determine that Micro's true identity is David Lieberman. David used to work as an NSA analyst but was supposed to be arrested for criminal activities before apparently being killed during his attempted arrest. The story of his death was never circulated in the media because Madani's boss Carson Wolf made it his personal responsibility to shut it down.

Frank tracks down David's wife Sarah and interjects himself into her life by getting 'accidentally' hit by her car when she was driving up. When her garage door doesn't work he volunteers to work on it, leaving David horrified as he watches their interactions through surveillance cameras he has set up throughout the property. Sarah and Frank (who is still using his 'Pete' alias when meeting her) bond over the loss of their loved ones and because of the kindness with which Frank offers to help her with some repairs.

Later, Frank tracks down Wolf and breaks into his home. He badly beats him and ties him up to demand that Wolf confess to his involvement in Lieberman's apparent death. He wants to know who he was involved with, believing him to be connected to Schoonover's heroin ring which Wolf denies. Wolf manages to get free from being tied up and grabs Frank's gun to get the upper hand. He recognises Frank once he removes his mask and says this will be the death that sticks. Wolf first reveals that Frank's family was killed merely to hide the fact that Frank was the only target all along. Frank attacks Wolf once more as the gun is revealed to be empty and Frank snaps his neck.

Madani meets Billy Russo, who served alongside Frank when they were deployed overseas. Billy now runs a private military contractor firm called Anvil. Madani wants to determine whether Billy was involved in the heroin smuggling operation and invites him out for drinks to try to find answers. Billy flirts and answers her questions before she is called away to investigate Wolf's murder.

Frank finally turns the phone David gave him back on and is quickly tracked by him. Frank pulls some power moves to remind David that he won't be ordered around. He agrees to meet him but only under his own terms. He sends David from one location to another that eventually leads to Curt delivering him a message at his own false grave. Once David returns to his hideout, Frank confronts him there and knocks him out, prepared to interrogate him regarding his activities.

She lost her former partner Ahmed Zubair and is determined to track down the people responsible but her boss warns her to stick to her assigned jobs and nothing else. Zubair had been investigating American soldiers that were suspected of smuggling heroin before he was killed. Her investigation has led her to investigate Frank Castle, who is still believed to be dead. His connection to Schoonover makes her suspicious.

Donny wants badly to fit in and get along with his co-workers, who bring him along to rob a poker game full of gangsters including one from the Gnucci crime family. Donny fumbles the bag of cash and drops his wallet which exposes his driver's license to all the criminals present. The group runs away with the cash and head back to the construction site. The men begin to badly beat Donny, believing he needs to be killed to save themselves from being caught and killed by the men they've just robbed. They throw Donny down into a cement mixer that is being gradually filled. Frank is still at the site and orders them to turn off the machine. When they refuse, a fight breaks out and Frank easily beats them with his combat training and powerful swinging of a sledgehammer. One of the men tries to shoot Frank but he manages to hide behind a pillar until the men runs out of bullets. Frank steals a gun from another one of the men and goes after the final man, whom he shoots dead before returning to kill the last man.

Frank rescues Donny from the cement machine and orders him to get out of town for his own good, or else the criminals will find and kill him. Then, Frank goes after the loan shark and all of his associates, all the while being unaware that a mysterious person is watching him on surveillance cameras.

Marvel's Daredevil S02E13 "A Cold Day in Hell's Kitchen" Recap (Season Finale)

Matt is holding Stick back hostage his apartment and patches up his wounds. Stick laments that he didn't kill Elektra when he had the chance and says the Black Sky must be extinguished at all costs. Matt says he should be grateful that Elektra spared his life. He then goes to meet Elektra on the roof. She tells him to leave her alone, feeling confused and tormented by the revelation of her being the Black Sky. She was trained to kill it from the time she was a child but Matt believes that all of these legends are just mystical nonsense. Elektra is concerned that even if the Hand keeps her in a cage, they will be emboldened by having her in their grasps. She doesn't see a way out no matter which way she decides to go. Matt is ready to help her and Elektra is taken aback that he is still offering even after everything she is done. Matt says they should go after Nobu and that extracting him should stop the Hand. Elektra asks if he'll kill Nobu but Matt says that killing him would only make him a martyr to the Hand's cause so dethroning him is the best course of action. She agrees to work with Matt.

Foggy is recruited to work at Jeri Hogarth's film. Hogarth is a character viewers will know from the Jessica Jones series. Clearly this is more groundwork leading to the collaborative Defenders series. Matt brings Elektra to his suit designer, who measures her for her own suit. He also presents Matt with a billy club. It's a specially designed weapon for Matt to use and it even matches his suits. It has a multitude of functions and Elektra's first question at seeing it is where hers is. Matt's suit-designer says that there are some people in Hell's Kitchen, including himself, who know who's truly looking out for them.

Frank returns to his family home where there is a considerable amount of mail piled up. He reads a newspaper claiming he is dead and he appears resigned to embrace his role as the Punisher. He takes a can of spray paint and puts the signature white skull onto the front of his body armor.

Foggy calls Matt because members of the Hand had infiltrated the police department and roughed up officer Brett, who has helped Daredevil more than once, in search of information on Daredevil. They wanted to know about everyone Daredevil has ever saved. Using this information the Hand takes a number of people hostage, including Karen and the criminal Turk Barrett. Matt goes to Karen's apartment and finds she has been taken. Barrett is on house arrest and has an ankle monitor on. He had tampered with it to turn it off but Karen advises him to turn it back on so they can be found and rescued. Barrett turns his ankle bracelet back on after one of the other hostages is killed for acting up.

Police are able to track the violation and go to Barrett's location but are shot up with arrows, preventing them from entering. One is able to call in the attack before being killed and Matt is able to pick up the call and determine the location. He and Elektra go and scope out the building, trying to figure out the best course action. Matt is fixated on the twenty hostages but Elektra is focused on stopping Nobu. She warns him that these people are bait and that worse things will happen if they don't stop Nobu and the Hand from getting Elektra back.

The Hand attempt to saw Barrett's foot off after finding the ankle bracelet but Matt comes crashing in and attacks them before freeing the hostages. While Karen leads everyone out, Matt continues fighting the Hand and Elektra comes swooping in to help him. They fight off many henchmen and in quiet moment, Matt professes his love for Elektra and asks her to consider being with him. He's ready to go on the run with her and she says that she is the one things in the world that makes him feel more alive than New York, so he'd leave the city for her. The only thing they have to do is survive this final battle.

Matt and Elektra head out to the roof where a giant pack of henchmen are waiting for them. Nobu is there and tells Elektra she belongs to the Hand while Matt belongs in the ground. The Hand fight them off, aiming to kill Matt but merely disarm and overpower Elektra so she can be in their custody. The odds aren't great, considering the sheer number of men they have to fight off but they put up one hell of a fight. Matt and Elektra end up in a fight together against Nobu, who manages to get the upper hand on both of them. He prepares to kill Matt but Elektra stops him and gets in the middle, mortally stabbed in the process. Elektra says the Hand has nothing now, as she's taken it all away. In her dying moments, she tells Matt that she knows now what it means to be good. She asks if it always hurts this much and Matt says that it does. Elektra's final words to Matt are that it's not the end.

Matt begins to fight the remaining members of the Hand and with some assistance from Frank, who is shooting from a nearby rooftop, Matt is able to defeat everyone left and toss Nobu off the side of the roof. Karen observes Frank on the roof. Frank says, "See you around, Red," before disappearing into the night. Nobu still isn't dead from his rooftop fall but Stick emerges and kills him, even going so far as to behead him to ensure its permanence.

Matt and Stick visit Elektra's grave. Matt reminisces about the love they shared and reminds Stick that he wanted her dead, so it's a bit ironic that now he's mourning her too. Stick asks Matt if loving her was worth it and Matt believes it was. Matt rejects Stick's philosophy of severing oneself from emotional connections.

Foggy and Karen meet for a drink. He promises to still be her friend no matter where he is working and proceeds to pay off their long-standing tab. Karen heads back to her office where her editor advises her to write the truth, and tell people something they don't know. Matt asks Karen to meet with him and reveals his secret of being Daredevil.

Finally, the Hand exhume Elektra's body and place her in the ancient device that the victims from earlier in the season had sacrificed their bodies to.

Marvel's Daredevil S02E12 "The Dark at the End of the Tunnel" Recap

In a flashback we see a young Elektra being trained by Stick at a school of sorts where kids are trained to be assassins. She is a quick study and full of fury. During a training session, Stick must stop the young Elektra from killing one of her older training partners. She is reprimanded for nearly killing someone that is on their unified side. Stick is trying to tame her propensity for killing and have it be channeled as a weapon to be used in the coming war.

In the present, Elektra has reached Stick and the two fight with full intent that it will be to death. Elektra is furious that Stick sent an assassin to kill her. It seems as if she'll win the fight but then Matt arrives and stops her. Stick laments not being able to "tame" Elektra, who is more determined than ever to stop "just another old man jealous" of his disciples. The fight is broken up by the arrival of the Hand, as they kidnap Stick and disappear into the night. Elektra is still angry at Matt for stopping her from killing Stick and he implores her to think of the bigger picture and how they need to figure out what the Hand are up to and why they didn't just kill Stick. Elektra doesn't want to fight a war she doesn't see herself apart of and doesn't understand why Matt wants to save a man that abandoned him. Now Matt and Elektra will both be on quests to find Stick but Elektra warns Matt that if he gets in her way again of killing Stick, she will kill him too.

Karen is advised by police to head home. They've sent the police that were supposed to protect her to work traffic, which Karen feels guilty about since she was the one that snuck out to meet Frank. The police believe that he is finally dead and Karen seems to believe this to be true.

Matt and Foggy meet at their office. They're still set to part ways professionally but Matt decides to tell Foggy about his search for The Hand, though he leaves a lot of the details about. Matt thinks they might be using the subway tunnels but Foggy advises him to look for the abandoned railway tunnels instead. Foggy's grandfather was a bootlegger that used them for smuggling and the city had abandoned these tunnels due to it being to costly and risky to try to deal with them more directly. Matt is thankful to Foggy for this useful help and the two are able to be cordial with one another despite being about to separate.

Karen considers dropping her investigative piece into Frank Castle but her editor pushes her to see everything through. She had originally planned on writing an expose but she decides to shift her angle by making it a profile piece instead to show the world that Frank Castle was more than just the Punisher. The next step is speaking to someone that knew him outside of that world so she decides to reach to his former Marine commander Ray Schoonover, who had testified on his behalf during the trial.

Matt dons his Daredevil suit and goes on the hunt in the abandoned railway tunnels. He gets into a scuffle with a member of the Hand and is able to follow the assailant using his enhanced abilities.

Karen pays a visit to Schoonover, who is happy to help her with her piece. He shares tidbits about Frank, such as a song he sang from a kid's TV show that his daughter loved and his knack for impressions. Karen opens up about how Frank is suspected to be dead in the explosion the previous night but stops talking when she spots a particular photo on the wall. In it, Schoonover and Frank are posing with an injured comrade that Karen recognises as one of the dead bodies pulled out of the explosion. The man was one of the Blacksmith's henchmen. Karen tries to leave, having realised that Schoonover is the Blacksmith but he forces her to stay at gunpoint.

Matt tracks down the Hand to their lair where they have Stick captive and are torturing him. Stick knows Matt is there and talks to him from where he's being beat, since Matt has enhanced hearing. Stick advises him to track the men he is fighting using their breaths instead of their heartbeats, which allows him to more effectively defeat them. Matt finally reaches Stick who is badly injured from the torture but still tells Matt he's proud of him. Just as Matt is prepared to escort stick out, Elektra emerges, more ready than ever to kill Stick. The argument is interrupted by Nobu emerging from the shadows.

In another flashback, we see young Elektra confronted by the older boy she almost killed in training. She tries to apologise but he attacks her with a knife so she beats him again and slits his throat. The boy's trainer wants Stick to kill Elektra for being too dangerous and out of control but Stick kills the man instead.

Nobu asks Elektra if she knows who the Hand serves and she responds that they serve the Black Sky. Nobu then reveals that Elektra is the Black Sky. She is horrified by this revelation, as Stick knew all along and lied to her about it. Matt implores her to understand that she still has a choice and doesn't have to go down this dark path. Elektra is shaken by the men in the Hand kneeling before her and swearing to serve her. Elektra orders Matt to leave her to embrace her destiny. He refuses to leave her and wants her to make her own destiny. Stick then attacks members of the Hand and Elektra fights her way out and escapes with Stick, leaving Matt to fight the rest of them off.

Schoonover forces Karen to drive into the woods and orders her to pull over but before she can do, a truck crashes into them, with the brunt of the damage being on Schoonover's side of the car. Karen wakes after being knocked out from the accident. She gets out of the car and observes the damage and realises that Frank is alive and has forced Schoonover deeper into the woods. Schoonover is chiding Frank for not joining him when he had the chance. Karen catches up to them and implores Frank he doesn't have to kill him. She offers to help Frank get the answers he is after and says that if he kills Schoonover she will be done with him. He pulls Schoonover into a cabin and shuts the door behind him, leaving Karen outside. Frank shoots him in the head and Karen is devastated. Frank finds a back room in the cabin filled with an artillery of military-grade weaponry with all sorts of guns and some tactical body armor too. The implication is clear that this will be his starting supply as the Punisher best known to comic fans.

Elektra stops with Stick in a corridor, where he says that Matt knew that killing him would be the point of no return for her and that Matt still believes she's worth saving. He advises her to earn that, which is probably just a ploy to keep himself alive but sound advice regardless.  Matt continues to fight off more members of the Hand and must finally fight Nobu once again which ends with Nobu being thrown over a high ledge but he is still alive and tells the remaining Hand members that Daredevil must die.

Marvel's Daredevil S02E11 ".380" Recap

The Hand begins to infiltrate the hospital that has the rescued patients in it. Though Matt is able to save Claire from being harmed, all of the patients act as if under some sort of trance and willingly leave with the Hand.

Karen gives a false statement about the attack on the officers assigned to protect her as well as the shoot-out on her apartment. She leaves out the detail that Castle was present and saved her from certain death. Matt confronts her as she's leaving the station for not asking for his help in the matter and she discretely lets him know about Castle saving her during the shoot-out. She is determined to prove that Castle didn't kill Reyes and that someone is setting them up. Castle believes he can find the culprit faster than the NYPD and Karen agrees. Matt wants to help Karen and protect her but she declines his offer. Karen goes to stay at a hotel and her police protection check her room first. After they leave, she sneaks downstairs and meets Castle who is waiting with her car that he stole to meet her.

Marci visits Foggy in the hospital and offers him a potential job offer down the line, saying that the work he did on the Castle case made waves. He doesn't explicitly accept but doesn't decline either.

Autopsies are performed on the dead Hand members from the hospital attack and find that at least one of them has scars that indicate a prior autopsy. The hospital board is insistent about covering this up and one board member seems inclined to try to put the blame of everything that happened on Claire. Refusing to let the hospital prioritise their funding over truth and justice, Claire quits her job.

Karen and Frank Castle have a sit-down in a diner and have an honest conversation about who thy are and what they are doing. Frank says that Karen loves Matt and should hold on to what she cherishes because he would give anything to be reunited with his family. She also believes his entire story and his innocence in relation to the death of his family. Frank tells Karen to go to the back and hide with the waitress. The men that are after Karen had driven around the block three times and have now pulled up so Frank is ready to confront them himself.

Matt (as Daredevil) confronts Tower and muscles a lead out of him. The one piece of information they have that's useful related to the Blacksmith is a competitor they had that works out of Chinatown. Daredevil follows that lead there and finds Madame Gao, one of Fisk's allies seen previously in season one. Matt wants to know where to find the Blacksmith and after a bit of tiptoeing, she directs him to a particular pier.

The Blacksmith's men that are after Karen enter the diner which is now empty in the main area except for Frank. A vicious fight breaks out that ends with Frank brutally overpowering the men, killing one, and relentlessly beating the other until they reveal the Blacksmith's location after which Frank kills him. Karen is horrified by the violence and Frank tells her to get to protective custody and stay away from him.

Frank heads to the same pier Matt was directed to and attacks a boat used to smuggle drugs. He tries to kill a man that is insistent in claiming to be the Blacksmith but Daredevil arrives in time to stop him and says that the man is lying and only pretending to be the Blacksmith. When Frank attacks Daredevil for interfering and not minding his business, the man speaks on a walkie talkie to signal that Frank is there and that whomever he is talking to should get back to the boat. Frank and Daredevil's fight is interrupted by the return of Blacksmith's men who attack the boat and set off an explosion. Frank is able to escape in the commotion.

Stick receives the news that the hitman he ordered was unsuccessful in killing Elektra so he decides that he must be the one to fight her himself. Elektra reveals herself by mortally wounding the men that had just delivered the news to Stick, just as they were leaving the location of the meet.

Karen arrives at the boat and is emotional at there being more destruction and perhaps also, Frank's potential further injury or even death.

Claire is leaving the hospital at the same time as Foggy being discharged and advises him to let Matt know that she won't be around to help him anymore.

The patients from the hospital are back at the hideout of the Hand and willingly let members of the Hand slit their wrists to drain them of the chemicals in their blood to be fueled into an ancient device, with its purpose being yet unknown.

Matt hears a strange noise outside and a car crashes outside of his apartment building. Inside the car is the men Elektra injured before and the driver uses his dying breaths to tell Matt that Elektra found Stick and warns of the impending showdown between the two. Stick is shown to be sharpening his blade while Elektra descends the steps and makes her way towards him. She tells him they need to talk but by the looks of the blades in both of their hands, there's no way this talk won't be anything less than an epic fight.

Marvel's Daredevil S02E10 "The Man in the Box" Recap

Matt (as Daredevil) asks Mahoney to send the children he discovered being kept in cages while their bodies were used incubators for chemical compounds at the Farm to Claire Temple for their medical treatment, trusting her to give them the best care but also to keep them anonymous from being found again by the Hand. He tells Mahoney to make sure that no one else knows that he's bringing them there. Claire is alarmed to find that all of the victims had their fingertips burned off so they wouldn't be able to be identified by fingerprints. Matt secretly visits Claire at the hospital and tells her that the situation is complicated. He says that the man responsible for his injuries the last time she patched him up when he was on the brink of death, Nobu, is the man responsible for this latest wave of victims. She is surprised, as Nobu was supposed to be dead, but Matt is insistent that she know that someone may come to the hospital to try to kill the patients and she must be careful. Claire also insists on giving Matt some aspirin after checking on his wounds. Matt then overhears a police radio transmission announcing that Castle has escaped and tells Claire the news.

Reyes summons Matt, Foggy, and Karen to her office after the news breaks of Castle's escape. Matt is convinced that Fisk was involved in Castle's escape after learning they were in the same ward, though Foggy is skeptical of believing it's anything more than a coincidence. Things are awkward in the dynamic of the trio after their falling out but they must focus on the massive load of secrets Reyes is about to unload on them. She shares how her office was the one that had organised a sting operation on the Blacksmith's deal with the Irish, Cartel, and the Dogs of Hell. Reyes was the one that made the call not to clear the area because she didn't want to tip off the crime groups and this led to the deaths of Castle's family as well as the undercover cop when the deal went bad. Reyes is now concerned that Castle is targeting her daughter, which goes completely against his philosophy but she doesn't know him well enough to understand that. The trio aren't keen on the idea of helping Reyes but they don't want an innocent child to die in the commotion. Reyes pleads for their help, no longer caring about her career. Matt hears a gun cocking, using his enhanced hearing and yells at everyone to get down. Reyes is shot dead in the commotion and Foggy is non-fatally injured by a stray bullet.

Matt visits Fisk in prison and is able to confirm that Fisk has now seized control of the prison and was responsible for Castle escaping it. He does so by threatening to use the law against Vanessa by getting her visa revoked so she will never be able to return to the country again. He reminds Fisk that New York is his true home so he would never be able to truly live with Vanessa. Fisk becomes angered and breaks free from his restraints and this is what lets Matt know that he is running things. Fisk promises to destroy his and Foggy's lives when he gets out of prison. Matt tries to put all the blame onto himself and off of Foggy but Fisk stays his course.

Elektra is visited by an assassin at the airport on her way out of New York. The two engage in an impressive battle before she kills him. In his dying moments, he reveals that it wasn't The Hand that sent him as she originally suspected, but Stick.

Karen follows the lead to find Castle by visiting the medical examiner that faked the results of the autopsies in the massacre of his family only to find the ME is already dead and killed. She doesn't believe Castle is the culprit as the messiness of the attack doesn't match his style. Karen is ordered to have protective security stay with her and the victims in the hospital begin to wake from their drugged state. Matt has a heart-to-heart with Claire on the roof. She thinks he's overextending himself but Matt feels he has no choice but to keep fighting and trying to protect everyone. He's now starting to doubt the power of the law and feeling hopeless. He feels resigned to stop being a lawyer and stop having friends and only focus on being Daredevil. Claire tells him he's only cutting off his only anchor.

When Karen returns to her apartment with protective officers, she begins to gather her files. When she hears the sound of bodies thumping outside, she becomes concerned that someone is going to try to kill her next. She pulls out a gun and Castle emerges from the shadows, saying that the most recent murders he's accused of weren't his doing. He hears a noise and tackles Karen to the ground and shields her body just as an unknown assailant shoots up her apartment.

Alarms go off at the hospital and Matt prepares for battle on the roof as he hears assassins from The Hand preparing to infiltrate the hospital. Claire is alarmed to find that all of the patients are in a trance-like state and have killed on the patient's father. Foggy is also in the hospital and looks out concerned by the assailants scaling the building.

Marvel's Daredevil S02E09 "Seven Minutes in Heaven" Recap

In a flashback, we see Fisk when he first enters prison. He is using his finances to see that Vanessa is taken care of and kept safe. She wants to visit Fisk but he wants to stay away where she will be out of danger. His lawyer, Mr. Donovan, advises him that a lot of his money was seized by the government so he is operating under limited funds. The case against him was bulletproof and submitting appeals that will be successful may take months or even years. He needs to stay out of trouble and keep his head down as best as he can or else the courts will use that as an excuse to shoot down his appeals.

An inmate named Dutton tries to intimidate Fisk. Dutton runs roughly 80% of the contraband dealings in the prison and Fisk had already heard of him for the drug-running he had done before he was incarcerated. Fisk begins to buy up protection by using his funds to help a select few other inmates that become his crew. Fisk uses the last of his limited funds to orchestrate Castle receiving a message that leads him to Fisk in prison for a meeting. Fisk tries to convince Castle that Dutton was the one that organised the dealings that resulted in the deaths of Castle's family. Fisk hopes to use this information to usurp Dutton's position of power running the prison if Castle takes him out. Fisk has organised a small timeframe for him to go to where Dutton is and also provides him with a small shiv.

Back at Matt's place, Elektra tends to his wounds and summons a cleaning crew to scrub the place down and removes all traces of the murder and the body. Matt is upset at Elektra for killing the boy and she insists that it was self-defense and that he would've killed them or summoned others to do if she didn't. Matt struggles with what he sees as Elektra's enjoyment in killing others. She shares about her first kill which happened when she was twelve years old. Matt believes they can't be together due to their differences. He wants to fight the Hand alone and sends her away.

Foggy visits Matt and the two decide to part ways, both professionally and personally. When Foggy guest tell Karen, she shares information she has obtained further information in her investigation of Castle. There was another victim of the massacre that killed Castle's family. Foggy thinks she should let it go and chooses then to reveal to her that he and Matt are finished.

Matt continues his investigation into finding the Hand while Karen tracks down the former chief medical examiner in the case of Castle's family and confirms that there was another victim of the massacre. This victims was an undercover cop that was part of a sting operation that tied into the deal that went wrong and the massacre that ensued.

Castle is given his opportunity at Dutton, who reveals that he organised the deal for a drug dealer known as "the Blacksmith" and then tells Castle that his question will never be finished. Castle admits this to be true and then stabs Dutton. Fisk betrays Castle by having the guards open the wing so Castle must fight off all of Dutton's supporters. Castle ends up killing every single one of them in a gratuitous display. After Castle accomplishes this, Fisk pays a visit to Castle in his cell and shares how despite his original plan was to kill him and close that loop, he was impressed by Castle's display of violence. Fisk decides that Castle could be a greater asset to him by killing his competitors while Fisk is incarcerated so he sets up an opportunity for Castle to escape. Castle promises Fisk that the next time they see each other, only one of them will walk away and Fisk says that he is counting on it.

Matt tracks down a Hand facility known as the Farm. While there, he hears the sound of blood dripping and is led to a room where there is a series of cages with victims being drained of their blood. Matt wants to free the victims, including a boy named Daniel that is the son of a lawyer that accompanied Matt to the facility due to his connections to the information. Their attempts to break people out are short-lived when a ninja attacks. Matt begins to fight him.

Fisk visits a gravely wounded Dutton in the hospital and informs him that his lungs are slowly filling with liquid due to his injuries and it's only a matter of time before he dies. He echoes Dutton's earlier sentiment that in prison there's only room for one Kingpin.

Matt continues his fight against the masked ninja who is eventually unmasked and revealed to be Nobu Yoshioka, a facially scarred man Matt had previously fought and killed.

Marvel's Daredevil S02E08 "Guilty as Sin" Recap

Matt and Elektra are busy fighting off more Yakuza henchmen near the giant hole they discovered. Elektra is badly injured and just when it looks as if she and Matt are done for, Matt's old mentor Stick arrives and fights off the last of their opponents. Matt wants to take Elektra to the hospital but Stick insists that he can help her himself but they must do it back at Matt's apartment. He does a painful treatment of her injuries but it still manages to save her life. While Elektra rests, Stick tells Matt that he not only knows Elektra but she works for him.

At Castle's trial, Karen is alarmed by the fact that Matt has stayed home. Foggy had advised him to do so but didn't think he actually would. Colonel Ray Schoonover, Castle's former commanding officer in the Marine Corps, is called in to testify as a character witness. He shares about the events that led to Castle being awarded special commendations for outstanding service. He risked his life to save the men in his unit and was successful in doing so. Reyes tries to question the legitimacy of these claims, asking how Schoonover can be sure this happened as he stated if he wasn't there, only for Schoonover to reveal that he was there and was the commanding officer that had gotten the unit into danger in the first place and that he would've lost a limb were it not for Castle's bravery. Reyes didn't know about this detail due to the names being redacted from the file, as the mission was classified.

Stick reveals to Matt that Elektra has been working with him in a mission against an ancient group called "Yaminote" which translated to the Hand. The Japanese Roxxon branch is merely a front for the Hand, which aims to unlock the secrecy to resurrecting the dead. He speaks about a kid called the Chaste, who has lead the fight against the Hand. Stick had hoped to have Elektra recruit Matt to join Stick in his fight against the Hand.

Foggy has a medical examiner speak to the injuries Castle has experienced due to being shot in the head on the attack on his family. Castle is weary that they are going against his wishes to avoid the PTSD defense but instead, this medical examiner is merely speaking to how the brain injury results in an extreme emotional disturbance. The circumstances surrounding Castle's condition are even more extreme due to the loss of his family in such a brutal manner. But despite things starting to work in Castle's defense, much of it is undone when a family member of one of Castle's victims has an outburst in the trial professing how Castle has killed his father. Castle begins to feel guilt, knowing all too well the pain of losing one's family. Karen remains sympathetic to Castle's trauma and tells him he must take the stand and testify to show everyone that he isn't a monster. Castle remains skeptical as to whether he is truly not a monster but agrees anyway.

When Karen tells Foggy that she has convinced Castle to take the stand, Foggy insists that Matt needs to be the one to question him if they are to stand any chance of winning this case.

Elektra wakes and Matt questions her about the secrets she has kept. She admits that their meeting was always a mission on her part. But she says that she truly did fall in love with him and Matt knows she is telling the truth due to his enhanced abilities to read people. Matt offers to help her on this mission against the Hand but only on the condition that she leave Stick and be with him, admitting how hollow he felt when he thought he would lose her. She is moved by his plea and agrees, regardless of the fact that Stick can hear their entire conversation. Karen arrives to ask Matt to question Castle the next day and is shaken by seeing the company at his place. Matt tries to explain what is happening but Karen leaves without hearing him out.

At the trial, Matt begins to question Castle to make the jury believe that Castle believes the depth of what he has said about the murder of his family. When Castle arrives to testify, he is dressed in a suit. Castle is evasive to Matt's maneuvers, but Matt is effective in making a speech to the court about how the city is corrupt and in need of help and that Castle simply wanted to make the city better but didn't know the difference between right and wrong. Castle then tanks Matt's work by going on a tirade in which he doesn't have remorse for anything he could've done. Foggy blames Matt for messing up the case that he didn't even want to take in the first place. Karen also tells Matt that she is done with him.

Elektra orders Stick to leave and he questions whether Matt will still want to be with her if he finds out who she truly is but she remains firm in her resolve to be good the way Matt believes her to be. Elektra senses that Matt has suffered tremendous loss when he returns home but he is still happy to be with her. She questions how they will make a relationship work and he tells her to rest and that they will figure it out. When Matt leaves the bedroom to let her rest, he is attacked by a ninja that shoots him with an arrow and begins fighting him. Elektra rises to help Matt in the conflict and in the process, Matt is able to de-mask the assailant and realises that it's a boy, likely still in his teens, but before he can process it further, Elektra slits their throat. Matt is shocked and upset by the action. Elektra says it's who she is and asks if he still wants her but he passes out from his wounds before they can discuss anything.

Castle is sent to prison where the general population yell at him and throw objects his way. Then, a guard leads him to a meeting with an imprisoned Wilson Fisk.
