Check out the exciting offerings of Comic-Con HQ at San Diego Comic-Con 2016.

In addition to one-of-a-kind panels, original programming and exclusive interviews, Comic-Con HQ is proud to offer a platform for your on-camera personalities and pundits to participate in Comic-Con HQ’s live programming at SDCC. We would also encourage you to speak with EVP and General Manager, Seth Laderman about all things CCHQ. 
Comic-Con HQ Live Stage:
COMIC-CON HQ is making a huge splash at San Diego Comic-Con International 2016, delivering up to 20 hours of live coverage and unparalleled access broadcasted from the Hilton Bayfront promenade via Comic-Con HQ and Facebook Live.
  • Live coverage from 12pm - 5pm PST each day.
  • Hosted by Alison Haislip & Steve Zaragoza and featuring your favorite Comic-Con HQ personalities, industry stars, celebrities, and a slew of panelists
  • Comic-Con HQ Live will feature interviews, the biggest spectacles on the show floor, nonstop Comic-Con action all over town and breaking news from Hall H, Ballroom 20 and beyond.
  • Big names in comics, film, gaming, and pop culture will join Comic-Con HQ hosts on stage to break news, share big announcements, talk trailers, find incredible costumes, and more.
  • Reddit willl also be on site with an interactive activation that will give fans the opportunity to experience reddit in real life.
Comic-Con HQ Balcony
Located on the Sapphire Patio of the Hilton Bayfront, 4 floors up from the Live Stage and overlooking the convention center, the Comic-Con HQ Balcony will be used to film live or live-to-tape interview segments that will be inserted into the live coverage the same day, and will possibly be re-run at a later point. This location is directly across from the Hilton Bayfront press rooms, making this an easy option.

Comic-Con HQ Press Room
Located in room 501A of the Hilton Bayfront, the Press Room is available for interviews with allComic-Con HQ talent listed at the end of this mailing.

Film HQ Press Room
Located in the Omni Hotel across from the Hard Rock, this press room will be hosted by Comic-Con HQ’s weekly movie news talk show FILM HQ with John Campea, and is available for on-camera interviews with available talent promoting at the event. Footage here will be taped to air during Comic-Con HQ LIVE broadcast or for a later episode of Film HQ.

Her Universe Fashion Show: Thursday, July 21st 6:00pm at the Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel
  • Her Universe’s third annual Comic-Con fashion show, hosted by Ashley Eckstein (voice of Ahsoka Tano in Star Wars: The Clone Wars) returns as aspiring designers, from a variety of backgrounds and experiences, will present their original geeky designs down the runway. This year, the Her Universe Fashion Show will be filmed for the exciting finale episode of the Comic-Con HQ docu-series of the same name in which three winners will be named – two selected live at the event, and one chosen by viewers at home. The docu-series will premiere it’s first 2 episodes on June 30th with additional episodes airing every Thursday until July 28th.
  • Three designers will win the the opportunity to design a fashion collection with Her Universe, which will be sold at Hot Topic.
Alan Tudyk and Nathan Fillion’s Con Man: Friday, July 22 10:30am in Hall H
  • Join the cast as they dive into their wild ride on season two of Con Man, with plenty of surprise guests, giveaways, and one special sneak peek!
  • Panel includes Alan Tudyk, Nathan Fillion, PJ Haarsma, Felicia Day, Nolan North, Mindy Sterling, Lou Ferrigno, Alison Haislip, and more. 
The Eisner Awards: Friday, July 22 8:00pm at the Indigo Ballroom, Hilton San Diego Bayfront
  • The Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards are considered the “Oscars” of the comicsworld. Named for the pioneering comics creator and graphic novelist Will Eisner, the awards are given out in more than two dozen categories during a ceremony each year at Comic-Con International: San Diego.
  • For the first time ever the ceremony will be made available to the public, as Comic-Con HQ will be streaming the entire show.
  • This year’s show will be hosted by Doctor Who’s John Barrowman
What Happened?: Saturday, July 23 10:00am in Room 6A
  • Jon Schnepp and Holly Payne (the dynamic duo behind the hit documentary The Death of “Superman Lives”: What Happened?) and their surprise guests uncover some of Hollywood’s greatest urban legends, from Superman Lives to Jodorowsky’s Dune.
  • Panel includes Jon Schnepp, Holly Payne, Robert Meyer Burnett, Steven Scarlata, and additional guests.
COMIC-CON HQ ORIGINAL PROGRAMMING
CON-MAN
A 2016 Short Form Emmy Contender, Con Man centers on the post-show life of Wray Nerely (Alan Tudyk) the co-star of “Spectrum,” a sci-fi series, which was canceled before its time and went on to become a cult classic beloved by fans. Wray’s good friend, Jack Moore (Nathan Fillion) starred as the series Captain and has gone on to become a major celebrity, while Wray (Tudyk) hasn’t found his desired level of stardom. Wray is the begrudging guest of sci-fi conventions, comic book store appearances, and different pop culture events; however, everything is not as it seems from the outside.
KINGS OF CON
Meet Rob & Rich, two men who are super famous... 13 weekends a year. Created by and starring Supernatural's Rob Benedict and Richard Speight, Jr., “Kings of Con” is a comedy series set behind the scenes at fan conventions, where it turns out the nuttiest people are the actors paid to be there
 
HER UNIVERSE FASHION SHOW
Her Universe, hosted by founder and actress Ashley Eckstein (voice of Ahsoka Tano on Star Wars The Clone Wars), is a reality alternative-fashion competition following contestants as they design their geek couture concepts for the catwalk of a live San DiegoComic-Con fashion show at this year’s Con. Her Universe is also a community for Fangirls to step into the spotlight and let their voices be heard!
 
ADAM SESSLER AND THE INTERESTING PEOPLE
Join Adam Sessler as he sits down with one of the world's most interesting people to delve into their unique, extraordinary lives and careers, and whose stories you've never heard before.
FILM HQ
Film HQ is your weekly deep dive into all things cinema. Join Collider's film expert John Campea and friends as they tackle the big releases each week, industry news that audiences should know, and interview some of Hollywood's biggest players.
IMPOSSIBLE SCIENCE
On “Impossible Science,” World Champion of Magic, Jason Latimer will showcase how unbelievable concepts (in movies, books and magic) could actually appear in real life through mind-bending performances of illusion. Then, he’ll take us to meet the technological and scientific innovators whose work have breathed realism into ideas once thought of as pure fiction.
 
MOSTLY HARMLESS
