Fox (Back to the Future) and David Duchovny ("The X-Files"), announced today the launch of the first ever music concert series to accompany a comic convention festival. Presented by Wizard World, Inc., known for events that celebrate pop culture, movies, TV shows, gaming and technology, the music concert series will make its debut in Philadelphia on June 3, 2016 featuring headliner and award-winning singer, songwriter and producer, Grimes.

Born and raised in Vancouver, Canada, Grimes' musical style carries a wide array of influences, ranging from electronica to pop to hip-hop and even R&B. Her explosive career has garnered praise from the likes of The New York Times, hailing her third studio album Visions (2012) as "one of the most impressive albums of the year so far." Her fourth studio album, Art Angels (2015) landed her inclusion in Billboard's "25 Best Albums of the Year," Pitchfork, Paste, and Spin Magazine's "50 Best Albums of 2015" and The New York Times "Best Albums of 2015" lists, to name a few.

The music concert series presented by Wizard World Comic Con will bring top, breakout musical talent to several cities across the U.S. during its inaugural run this summer and fall. The series will also include alternative pop singer HANA, who is opening for Grimes on June 3 in Philadelphia. Other artists include the stunning and provocative singer, songwriter, Melanie Martinez performing this summer. Further show dates, performers and cities to be announced soon.

Wizard World's music concert series has also commissioned acclaimed Los Angeles-based pop artist Kii Arens to create and design all eight of the limited edition, exclusive art rock posters for each artist performing at the shows. The artwork will be included in the limited VIP package for each concert in the series. Arens' portfolio includes a remarkable 300 pieces created and designed for distinguished artists such as Radiohead, Beck, The Pixies, Lana Del Rey, The Beach Boys, and more.

About Kii Arens
Kii Arens is an American contemporary pop artist, graphic designer, photographer, director and musician, with a focus on Rock-N-Roll. Never formally trained, this St. Paul, MN native grew up with a fascination for album covers, band logos, and font styles. He credits Saturday mornings in the 70's spent watching Sid & Marty Krofft as his main inspirations for color. Kii is the owner of Los Angeles-based La-La Land Gallery, with over 300 pieces created for artists such as Radiohead, Beck, Queens of the Stone Age, Dolly Parton, Devo, Diana Ross, Lana Del Rey, The Pixies, Glen Campbell, Tame Impala, The Beach Boys, The Replacements and many others.
