Meet 'Torchwood,' 'Arrow' Star John Barrowman
At Wizard World Portland
Perhaps best known for roles as Captain Jack Harkness from "Doctor Who/Torchwood" and Malcolm Merlyn in the hit series "Arrow," John Barrowman will appear at Wizard World Portland, Saturday and Sunday, February 20-21.

The Scotland-born Barrowman is a burgeoning star on both sides of the Atlantic. He's also familiar to fans of "Desperate Housewives," on which he had a recurring role as Patrick Logan.

Always a hugely popular Wizard World guest, Barrowman will meet fans, sign autographs, pose for photo ops and appear in an unforgettable interactive Q&A session at the Oregon Convention Center.

Meet 'Serenity,' 'Firefly' Star Jewel Staite
At Wizard World Portland

Jewel Staite, who portrayed "Kaylee Frye" on Serenity and "Firefly" and "Dr. Jennifer Keller" in the hit series "Stargate: Atlantis" among more than 40 TV and film roles, will appear at Wizard World Portland later this month.

The stunning Canada-born actress has also had high-profile roles in "The L.A. Complex," "Higher Ground" and "Wonderfalls." Last year she appeared in several episodes of the cable series "The Killing."

Don't miss Staite as she'll be on hand at Wizard World's return to Portland on Saturday and Sunday, February 20 and 21, meeting fans, signing autographs, posing for photo ops and conducting an interactive Q&A session.

Capcom To Feature Street Fighter® V At Wizard World Gaming Beginning In Portland
Wizard World and Capcom, a leading worldwide developer and publisher of video games, have announced an agreement to feature the highly-anticipated Street Fighter® V fighting game at Wizard World Gaming events throughout 2016, beginning in Portland this month.

Event attendees can visit the Capcom free play area at Wizard World Gaming shows to play Street Fighter V. Additionally, at the main event stage, gamers can compete in a tournament for $3,000 in cash as well as other prizes, with the action streamed live online for a global audience.

Wizard World Gaming Portland kicks off a season-long series of gaming-focused events which will coincide with Wizard World comiccon shows throughout 2016 in the following additional cities: St. Louis (April 1-3); Minneapolis (May 6-8); Philadelphia (June 2-5); Sacramento, Calif. (June 17-19); Columbus, Ohio (July 29-31); Orlando, Fla. (August 5-7); Chicago (August 18-21); Austin, Texas (September 23-25); and Pittsburgh (Nov. 4-6).

Movies claimed broke the big publisher and "Hollywood mold" to create the successful Bad Kids comic book/movie franchise when Barry "Bazz" Wernick (Creator, Producer), Matthew Spradlin (Creator, Director), James Hallam (Writer, Producer) present their insights on the comic/movie franchise in an Independent Creatives panel (Time/Date TBD), highlighting a weekend of all things "Bad Kids."
