BITTEN Sinks its Teeth into Viewers as Sexy Thriller Becomes Space’s #1Original Series, Ever

TORONTO (April 3, 2014) – Space continues to deliver phenomenal original programming as Season 1 of BITTEN goes out with a howl with the explosive, action-packed finale this Saturday April 5, at 9 p.m. ET. Since its debut in January, BITTEN has amassed a loyal following of an average of 348,000 viewers on Saturdays at 9 p.m., making it Space’s #1 original series of all time and the #1 program on Space this broadcast year. Each week, BITTEN reaches more than 1 million viewers, and to date has reached more than 4 million viewers. The series has also gained a loyal social media following with 903 million estimated impressions from 364,430 Twitter mentions, by 288,071 users using the hashtag #Bitten.
For viewers who have yet to join The Pack, Space is pressing the reset button on the entire series with a BITTEN marathon beginning Saturday, April 5 at 9 a.m. ET. Online, fans can watch the entire series, 24/7 at space.ca.

In the season finale of BITTEN entitled “Ready,” (Saturday, April 5 at 9 p.m. ET) having learned the truth about her werewolf origins, Elena (Laura Vandervoort) reunites with Clay and The Pack to prepare for a final stand against the Mutts.
BITTEN is based on the critically-acclaimed series of novels by Kelley Armstrong, and is executive produced by J.B. Sugar (THE COLLECTOR, JPOD) for No Equal Entertainment, John Barbisan, and Patrick Banister (WHISTLER) for Hoodwink Entertainment, and Tecca Crosby, John Morayniss, and Margaret O’Brien for Entertainment One (eOne). Daegan Fryklind and Grant Rosenberg are Executive Producers and Co-Showrunners. eOne is distributing the series internationally.
