They have the power to turn Nick back into a Grimm, and although reluctant to do it, when they see a burning Wolfsanga in Monroe and Rosalee's yard, Juliette knows what needs to be done. Nick asks if she's sure, its what he wants. Hank puts out the burning sigil. Nick, Juliette and Hank go inside to see what the Wolfsanga is. It's a hate symbol for Blood purity. Nick wants Monroe and Rosalee to stay with him, but Monroe refuses to let them chase him out of his home. The group is all wesen, and right now, there's no way for them to find the hiding members, but Nick and Juliette plan to change all of that. She's going to take the potion to help him reverse Adalin's curse.

A young couple drive on the dark roads. A truck flash's brights blind them, and they let it pass. The make thinks that they should have waited until morning, for a better scenic drive, but the girl doesn't care about the scenery, she has him. The car suddenly blows a tire, and they go careening into the woods. They crash into a tree, and the girl is stuck, pinned in the wreckage. The jerky truck with the brights come back for them. A pair get out, and the guy tells his girl to get out, run, but she can't. The lizard-like wesen come to collect the couple, they knock out the male, and take him from the cab, but leave the girl. They'll need to find another couple.

In Austria, Victor gets an update, and Adalind is brought in. She's starved, but leery of eating again. Victor assures her that things are different now. Adalind sits down and digs in. Victor questions her on leaving with the resistance. She didn't set any of it up, nor did she go with the resistance. She went with Kelly to Portland, also not where she had wanted to go. She didn't know who she was, or where they were going until she took her to Nick's house. Victor wonders if she is the one who Weston Stuart faced, she's not,it was Trubel, but they don't know that. Victor asks how Sean convinced her to give him the baby. He brought her into the station to talk about her mother's murder. She found out that Nick's mom, Kelly did it. Then he took the baby and gave it to Victor, but Victor lost the baby. The Resistance was waiting at the airport for them. But if they had no idea that she was headed to Portland, how did they track her there? Adalind remembers words that Kelly told her right before she lost her baby. Sometimes we have to sacrifice what we love most to ensure their safety. They know who has the baby now.

Elizabeth prepares the potion that will transform Juliette into Adalind. When they're done Nick will be a Grimm again, they hope. There are potential side effects, and it may not work, but they have to try it. Elizabeth advises her to take three deep breaths no more, no less of the smoke coming from the hat. Juliette does, but doesn't think anything is happening. Then the change starts and she's Adalind. Elizabeth tells them that there isn't much time, and she gets out of there. Monroe and Rosalee are quick to follow, as is Trubel Nick and Juliette head upstairs. She turns out the lights to make things easier, but tells Nick its his one chance to have an affair with her permission. Nick takes the opportunity, at least this time its Juliette.

Monroe, Rosalee and Trubel are weirded out by the idea of Nick and Adalind, and the whole Grimm thing. Monroe points out that its been weird for Nick too, like the professor having to ask the student. Monroe and Rosalee try to get their minds off thinking about Nick and Juliette/Adalind, figuring that they will call them when the deed is done.

Nick and Adalind finish up in the sheets. She asks him how it was, and he refuses to answer knowing that that's a no win situation. No matter how he answers its going to be wrong. Juliette heads off to the bathroom, giving herself a good look in the mirror. She really hate Adalind. Nick gets up to go get all of them a drink. Juliette begins to cramp, falling to the groung. Please don't tell me she just got impregnated with a super baby. Nick rushes in to check on her, seeing her on the ground. He wants to call 911, but she tells him not to. The pain is gone. He helps her into the bedroom, and the pain returns as she transforms back into herself. Nick tells her that she's her again, and she's thankful/

The next morning. Renard checks on his mother. The older she gets the more everything takes out of her. She underestimated Adalind's powers. She can feel the power in the cloth, the hat may have belonged to one of the original witches. She asks where Adalind could have gotten it from. She got it from her mother, but where she got it from Elizabeth suggests that he find out. He may want that person for an ally, but she's leaving the hat with him. She's leaving, though unsure where. She asks him to be careful, what she did for him can only be done once. She wants her granddaughter, but Renard cannot give her that. She tells him to be prepared when Kelly contacts Nick.

Nick is over the moon, and Juliette wonders if he has his powers back. He's unsure. She suggests he goes out and puts it to the test. Trubel knocks at the door, and Nick asks if she forgot her key. She didn't want to disturb him and Juliette if they weren't done. Nick tells her that its all done, and Juliette is back. Trubel calls in Monroe and Rosalee. Monroe tries out Nick's Grimm powers, and wargs in front of him, but Nick sees nothing. Rosalee tries to assure him that its too early, Elizabeth said it would take some time. Hank calls for an update, and a case. Nick welcomes the distraction. Rosalee asks after Juliette, she's fine and Trubel is thankful.

Wu tells Hank and Nick about the newest case. They found the girl in the woods, and she's got a horrible story about what took her husband. She tells them that they said they have to take another since they couldn't get her. The sheriffs were on scene first and they haven't found much. All they know is that they hit something before they crashed. Hank takes a closer look and finds a board full of nails under wedged under the car. They definitely hit something. Nick recognizes it from a case, several years old that took place about 15 miles away. Same MO 2 missing people, spike strip. Wu remembers that case, no one was found. Hank calls for dogs to be brought in.

Trubel comes out of the shower, and spots a car watching her. She brings out her bike, and the watcher calls in that she's on the move. Trubel walks up to the window, and asks the man if she's following her. He claims that he's just waiting for a friend. She tells him to tell his boss, Chavez, that he can't follow her. She slices his tires, and heads off on her bike. He wargs into a snow leopard in frustration.

Hank brings the evidence from the older case, and the evidence looks the same as their current one. Missing couple, bodies never found. There was a survivor, the sister. She was asleep in the back seat, knocked to the floor in the accident. Nick remembers it well, she said that monsters took her sister and brother in law. He didn't have his Grimm powers then, and had no clue she was telling the truth. Someone is brought in in cuff, he puts up a fight, and Nick sees him almost change, kind of, but no one else does. Hank asks if he's okay, and Nick isn't sure he saw anything. Wu said that there was evidence that there was a car waiting. Nick comes across something that was at the old crime scene, a metal lizard. It's nightmarish to be sure, but Nick thinks that there could be one at the current scene.

Trubel had double backed, after giving her tail the slip. She watches him bicker with two others about losing her. There's a knock on the door, and Trubel draws out her knife in preparation. Its Josh. She yanks him into the house. He tells her that he didn't do anything, she knows. He asks what's going on, and she admits a lot. He came because he had no where else to go.

Hank searches the woods with a metal detector. His uncle use to have one, use to comb the beaches with it. He finds something, another beer can, and goes back to looking. He finds something else, not a beer can, a lizard totem of some kind. The sheriff finds them, she tells them that she researched the area, and after Nick's case six years ago there was another three years ago. A couple disappeared, everyone assumed that they disappeared into the woods, but they left all their camping gear behind. She brings them to that scene. Hank uses his metal detector there, and the sheriff digs up nothing. Nick heard something, and she digs around a little more, and finds a third lizard. The cases are definitely connected. The Sheriff goes to look into artists/wielders in the area.

Nick and Hank do some research of their own in the trailer. They find that the wesen responisble is the Phansigar. Nick reads the passage written by Rudyard Kiplin, a former Grimm about he Vanisgard's killing method, and need to kill every 3 years for their beliefs. And its always a male and female.

They take their findings to Renard. The Phansigar isn't done, they only got their male, they will still need a female to complete their ritual. Wu delivers his finds as well. All of the paint was automotive, and Wu thinks he has the location it came from. A junkyard that was purchases about seven years ago, which fits in with their time line.

The Phansigar takes the male from the car accident out of the trunk of the car, and dump him into a hole in the junk yard.

Josh watches the car get towed away, as Trubel comes in with sandwiches. He grabs his and instantly starts devouring it. He hasn't eaten since the day before. His life has been a wreck since his father died. He returned, and his dad's house was being torn apart. Trubel wonders if its because he was a grimm, of course it is. Josh needs to talk to Nick, he's the only one that can help. Trubel worries, he doesn't know, and Josh panics, his mind instantly thinking the worst. Nick was the one who told him to get out. He left everything behind. Trubel breaks the news to Josh, that things are different now.

Monroe paces in the spice shop as Rosalee helps people. Nick asks for Monroe's help. He can't leave Rosalee with the Wolfsanga still fresh in his mind, and he's never heard of the Phansigar. Rosalee has, but hopes that they don't plan to bring one into her shop. Juliette arrives, with her gun. Trubel follows, also late. Rosalee gives him the go ahead, she'll be safe in their capable hands.

The sheriff arrives at the junk yard following up on a lead. She wants asks the owner to put together a list of buyers. Nick calls and tells her about the junk yard, and she's already there checking on that lead. She tells him that they're cutting up a lot of scrap metal and she's working on obtaining a list. One of the sons wargs behinds her, and tongue whackers her. He thinks thinks that she's perfect. The father points out that she's an officer, but even the brother agrees. If they work fast and get rid of the car they can get their ceremony done before anyone is the wiser.

Night falls, and the trio prepare for their human sacrifices. They bring the sheriff to the hole. Nick, Monroe and Hank sneak into the junk yard. He's having pain, but he doesn't want to leave, he wants to push through the pain. His hearing enhances, he tells Monroe and Hank they have to hurry. The ceremony is almost complete, and Nick has more head pain. As they stop to check on Nick, the Phansigar get away. Hank leaves Nick with Monroe while he goes to check out the hole. He needs Monroe's help. The Sheriff is still alive, but he needs help getting her out. Monroe is shoved into the hole with the male. The boys find Nick, and drag him to their father. They tell him that he's sick or something, and the father says that he will deal with him personally. He wargs, and Nick sees it. Nick has his Grimm back, and he's energized. He cuts off papa Phansigar's tongue, and takes on the boys. He beats them both up. Monroe tells him that he was right, they were Phansigars, Nick already knows, he's back. Both the guy and sheriff are alive.

Nick fills Renard in on the rest. Six graves, six victims. He asks if Monroe did the ID, but Hank tells him that they didn't need him to. Renard welcomes him back.

Monroe and Nick return to the Spice Shop, and Nick gives them the good news. He's been re-grimmed. Trubel is rocked a little. She's kind of relieved to not be the only Grimm anymore. She tells him that they have another problem. Nick and Trubel rush home. Josh has a machete in his hand, but no clue how to use it.

The trio have come with good/bad news. To re-Grimm Nick, she has to do what Adalind did, everything that Adalind did. She has to breathe in the potion, and make love to Nick. When she takes the potion she will be transformed into Adalind.

Adalind struggles against the voices in the water. She's suddenly out of the water. Her guide warned her against listening to the voices. They told her what she wanted to hear. Adalind hears a baby crying and she goes in search of it.

A woman, Ava, worries that she isn't safe. The man promises her as he gives her some pills to help her sleep. He tells her that she will feel better in the morning.

Juliette gets the dirty details. To break Adalind's spell is to do everything backwards. Nick doesn't want to put Juliette through this mess, but its the only way to reverse it. Without reversing it, there could be continued side effects. Both Nick and Juliette are apprehensive, but Trubel tells him they need to just get it done. Juliette points out that to be a grimm, this is the only way. Nick needs time to think it over, but Elizabeth warns him that if he changes his mind he doesn't have much time left, she isn't staying. Trubel heads off to bed as everyone else leaves. Nick thinks a normal life sounds good, and Juliette isn't sure they can go back.

Ava tries to get away when she sees a cat man. She's having trouble believing in him, but he's there to help. He tries to get her to drink, but she gets away. The man wakes, hearing her commotion. Ava makes it to her car in a panic, driving away. The cat continues to taunt her, haunting her. Ava hits a night jogger, and crashes her car. The cat is right outside of her car.

Trubel comes down for breakfast in a bit of a huff. She's been thinking about the reasons that Nick no longer wants to be a Grimm, but she doesn't think its a good idea to stick around. It only puts Nick and Juliette in danger. Bud comes, and he's heard about Nick having lost his Grimm. He offers his condolences, and asks about Trubel. Bud asks if Trubel is willing to help him, since Nick is no longer able to. It's not a police matter, but rather a bully matter. His kid is being bullied by another wesen, and he wants Trubel to take care of it. Nick leaves, and Bud confesses that Nick is in trouble. He spilled the beans, and the news that Nick was grimless spread like rapid-fire all the way to Shaw, who has a grudge against Nick.

Elizabeth approves of Renard's new home with enhanced security. She warns him that she can only save him that way once. Renard suspects that Trubel is a grimm. Elizabeth feels that her son is going to tell her where her grandchild is, and he tells her that the baby is with Nick's mother.

Nick and Hank go to another crime scene. Hank thinks sooner or later people are going to start asking questions about Trubel, and possibly Nick, but its not like he can really explain his current situation. Wu fills them in about the wacky story, and Ava's screaming about a talking wolf. Wu is so close to knowing the truth, the guys just need to let him in.

Adalind continues running, but she loses the sound of the baby. The poor girl just wants her baby back, but she's not going to find it there either. She reaches the end of the hall and finds a door. It opens and inside is her, with the head of her guide on a platter covered in rats.

Bud takes Trubel to Joe's shop. Trubel gets physical to hear the story, and Shaws location.

Gabriel sits by Ava's bedside. She had to be sedated when she found out that the man that she hit died. He tells Hank and Nick that his wife was recently diagnosed with a severe mental illness. He tried to stop her, but he didn't make it. He takes them back to the house, and recants what he heard and saw, which wasn't much. Ava has seen the wolf before, she says it looks like a man with a wolf head that talks. It terrifies her. She told him about it six months prior when they moved there. She traveled a lot around. When they moved there her illness came on rapidly. The house was inherited. The housekeeping staff quit when she got sick, and Gabriel himself is an MD. Nick isn't sure she's out of her mind, and Hank is pointed towards a wesen connection. Nick wishes he could see them, rather than suspect them.

Bud and his friend take Trubel to Shaw's house. They pair are ready to make a break for it, but Trubel is out of the car before they can stop her. Shaw isn't a Nick fan, and he's ready to teach Trubel and Bud a lesson for meddling. Trubel is way more than he bargained for. Shaw quickly realizes his mistake, and Trubel unsheathes her blade. Shaw crumbles in tears, and he promises to leave Nick alone. Trubel slashes him, and warns him that this is the end. She knows that there will be others.

Ava's psychiatrist tells Nick and Hank that they have tried a variety of medications. She gives the men some of Ava's drawings, and tells them that should they charge Ava with a crime, she will testify that Ava should be institutionalized rather than thrown into jail.

Josh comes home to find the house sacked. His father's remains are in his hand, and he's bringing him home. Some men hear him come in, and they come downstairs to find Josh. He throws his father's ashes at them, as they warg. He barely makes it out.

Nick and Hank show Monroe and Rosalee Ava's drawings. He tells them that it is a Luison, they're from South America most often. They get a call, Ava is awake. She's not being arrested. She tells them that she didn't even see the jogger. Ava goes into detail about the wolf, that he tried to make her drink, and how she tried to get away from him. She thinks that she's losing her mind. The wolf pretends to be kind, but she knows that he's trying to kill her. Her husband will not let that happen he says.

Nick and Hank have found nothing on her husband, but he has the most to gain. There is a hearing to see if Gabriel gets control of the estate. Renard asks if he plans to use Theresa, she saved him, and he's feeling a little protective towards her. Renard warns Nick that he's going to have to get off the fence soon, or give up the Wesen cases, and figure out what to do about Wu.

Josh calls Nick to let him know what happened. Nick advises Josh to get out of there, and call it in as a robbery, because no one will believe the Grimm angle. The wesen close in and Josh makes a run for it.

The guide warned Adalind not to go back. He warns her not to turn back. To go through the door to the otherside, he is the key he tells her, she just needs to hurry through to freedom. He turns into a literal key, and Adalind opens the door to a nursery. Adalind makes it across the room, but before she can make it through to the next door, Adalind hears a baby. She thinks that it is Diana, and she's so happy to have found her baby, but its not. Its a pig, and Adalind failed. She falls.

Nick tries to lay out a plan on how to find the Luison. The courthouse won't work, there are too many people. Hank thinks that he should go into the house while Gabriel is at court. Monroe heads in trying to smell the distinctive Luison scent. He opens the door, and gets a good whiff. He follows the scent up to the attic. Up there, there are several pairs of shoes and suits. Gabriel comes home. Monroe calls Nick, he was suppose to warn him when Gabriel was done. He was planning on it, but Gabriel isn't done. There's more than one of him. Gabriel comes upstairs with his suit, and Monroe barely escapes out the window.

Monroe looks at a mugshot of Gabriel. That was definitely the man that he saw. Twins is what they think, but there are no records of siblings. They have to make Ava think that its masks, if they want to save her previous psyche.

Gabriel prepares Ava for bed. She's worried about seeing the Luison again, but he gives her meds, and sends her to bed.

Monroe jumps out at Gabriel. He calls him a Luison, and Gabriel wargs. Monroe wargs too, and Nick knocks him out. There's not just two Gabriel's but three. The actual Gabriel wargs, and Ava awakens. He comes down and sees a mask on the counter. He claims to not understand what is happening. Nick and Monroe knows exactly what he did. He claims that they cannot do anything about it, but there's a lot. Gabriel and his brothers are arrested. They tried to drive Ava mad for her money. Josh calls again, he's on a bus trying to get away. He doesn't have the key, or the power, he just wants a normal life.

Adalind falls all the way down into the dungeon. She's broken inside. Victor asks if she's done and ready to be compliant. She is. He wants to get their child back

Monroe celebrates with a little pinot. He's still having a hard time making the Grimm decision. He doesn't want Juliette to have to continue to have to worry about him, them, and their friends. He does have to admit that packing up and leaving and starting a family is appealing. Monroe understands if he makes that decision. But Nick does miss being a Grimm and he's pissed that it was taken away. Juliette, Rosalee and Hank arrive to celebrate, but the celebration is cut short. There's a fire outside. Someone has sent Monroe and Rosalee another wesen sign against their marriage. Hank takes the newlyweds inside, and Juliette is pissed. She's ready for Nick to get his Grimm back.

HIGHWAY OF TEARS (TV-14)

NICK WANTS TO BE A GRIMM AGAIN NOW MORE THAN EVER --

At work, Nick and Hank (Russell Hornsby) are called to a stretch of highway that acts as a staging area for a horrifying Wesen ritual. 

In Vienna, Viktor (guest star Alexis Denisof) meets with a completely broken Adalind (Claire Coffee), now ready to be of assistance in finding and retrieving the baby. 

Meanwhile, Trubel (guest star Jacqueline Toboni) is surprised by the sudden arrival of an old friend. 

Bitsie Tulloch, Reggie Lee and Sasha Roiz also star.

A WOMAN’S DELUSIONS DRIVE HER TO COMMIT A DEADLY CRIME --

JACQUELINE TOBONI, ALEXIS DENISOF AND LOUISE LOMBARD GUEST STAR 

Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby) are called to the scene of a crime where the suspect swears she was driven to madness by a very persistent talking wolf. Meanwhile, Nick and Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) wonder if getting his Grimm powers back is worth giving up a normal life.

Elsewhere, Bud (guest star Danny Bruno) hopes Trubel (guest star Jacqueline Toboni) can help take care of a wesen-related issue and the threats against Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) and Rosalee’s (Bree Turner) inter-wesen marriage heat up. In Austria, Adalind (Claire Coffee) continues her perilous trek in the hopes of retrieving her daughter.

The men in masks wait outside of the Spice Shop. They make their approach as Elizabeth figures out how Adalind managed to complete the spell. She didn't give Adalind nearly enough credit, not only did she obtain the blood of a Grimm (though it cost her her powers) she went through the ritual to get them back while carrying the heir of a royal, making the baby über powerful. A brick crashes through the window, on it is a wolf trap, a warning. It's a warning against their mixed marriage. Monroe wants to call Nick, but he can't help, and Elizabeth suggests that they get back to work to re-Grimm Nick.

Nick cooks up some stir-fry while Juliette goes looking for Trubel. She isn't in her room, and all of her stuff is gone. She's cleaned out everything without a word, only leaving her chess piece behind. Juliette wonders if she did mention her leaving in her own way.

Rosalee goes to gather more spices, and Monroe promises her a honeymoon when the current crisis is complete.

An SUV crashes into a mailbox. A mother puts her son to bed as her drunken ex comes in. He wants to be with his family he claims. He wargs, but his wife isn't backing down. She fights back, and she and the boy manage to get out and into their car. They drive off as the father threatens to kill them all.

Sara Fisher's brother pays her a visit. Ben goes to see his sister, the mother, she and the boy are fine. The doctors are keeping her overnight for a concussion. The boy, David, sits and draws. He has a sprained wrist that he got when he fell. Ben's visit is cut short as visiting hours end, and he vows never again.

Nick rushes off to the trailer. Trubel's stuff is there. She was out checking to make sure that he wasn't followed. She confesses that she didn't tell him everything, which is why she left her black knight. Trubel tells him the Chavez kidnapped her and warged in her face. It wasn't about the FBI, it was about something else. Chavez did question him as well, she was interested in Trubel. Trubel confesses everything, about the secret group, about killing anyone she told. Trubel kept the secret because she feared for Nick and Juliette. Nick thinks that she should come home, her sudden disappearance could signal to them that she told him and then split. Trubel promises to tell Nick everything next.

Monroe tries to find a good explanation for the symbol on the brick. It also use to be used to mark borders or territories, but Rosalee is not buying that explanation. And even with his far out explanation, a lot of Blutbadden perished in the literal wolf trap. Elizabeth announces that they're done for tonight. The potion needs to ferment. She sends the lovebird off for rest, but she still has work to do.

Ben takes out an ancient scroll, and wearing a yamika scoops a little clay into his hand out of a ceremonial jar as he reads an incantation asking for protection for his family.

The drunken ex goes looking for Sara again, and finds himself in an expanding mud puddle. The Golem rises and consumes him. Sara isn't going to be having any trouble with her ex anymore.

Nick and Hank go to the crime scene. Wu was the one who found the body, he was serving the domestic abuse order. Keith's body is completely full of clay, its coming out of ever orifice, and its a whole lot of clay that isn't native to the area. Keith's brother blames Sara for his death, claiming that she hates her ex. He claims that Keith was trying to get his life back together. Hank sends him off to make a statement. He doesn't think that the wife was strong enough to do it unless she's wesen, which means bringing Trubel in on the case.

Ben doesn't want Sara returning home unless Keith is behind bars. Keith never stays behind bars for long. Ben wants Sara and David to come and live with him then. Sara tells him that something comes over his face when he gets angry. Ben tells her that she married a monster. Nick and Hank arrive, and Trubel takes David out while the pair break the news about Keith's death. David plays a little, and Trubel notices that the bad guy keeps winning, the good guy never does. He tells her that his stepdad has a monster that comes out when he gets mad. Trubel tells him about some scary monsters that she's encountered, and how she fought back and defeated them. She tells him that she scared them by believing that he could defeat them would help. Trubel reveals that there were no wargs in the room, but that Keith was wesen. There's no telling what type now, now its a matter of finding what killed him.

Ben goes to Sara's house, and takes a closer look at the clay that marks the spot where Keith was found. The clay looks very familiar.

Back at the trailer, Nick, Hank and Trubel do some research. Trubel wonders how many Grimms there are in the world. Nick hasn't found anything to point to a wesen with a clay MO, and Hank wonders if it even is wesen. Trubel is just getting use to wesen, she's not ready for other things. Ben calls Hank, he's ready to confess to Keith's murder.

Nick and Hank head to the synagogue where Ben is sitting in prayer. He brings the men back to his study. He's been a rabbi for years he explains, and he tells the pair that what he is about to tell them may be hard to understand or believe. Ben begins to talk about raising a Golem, and its history. He shows the men the scrolls,and the jar holding the remains of the Golem. Ben didn't really think so, it was brought in by his former boss. He was so angry that he turned to the scrolls, and unleashed the Golem through prayer. Nick and Hank cannot arrest him with the evidence that they have, belief or not. They agree to take the jar of clay.

The clay is a match, but building a case will be much harder. Captain Renard comes back to a round of applause. Coming back from the dead has been eye opening for him, and he's grateful to be back.

Ben takes Sara home, trying to explain to her what happened to Keith. She doesn't him. She doesn't think that he killed Keith, nor that a golem is responsible. Sara thinks that whatever happened to him that he deserved. They go inside, and find Keith's brother Nate sitting and waiting. He knows that either Sara or Ben are responsible. He wargs in front of David scaring him, as Sara calls the police to report that he's in her home attacking them. He promises to return and find out how they killed his brother.

Nick and Hank get the notification that there was another attack on Sara. Wu has troubled thoughts. He heads to the Captain's office. He's glad to have him back, and he needs to talk. He asks if Renard has read the report, and he has. He thanks Wu for getting him into the ambulance so quickly. Wu asks about Trubel, and Renard is aware of the girl. Wu tells him that the girl was suspected in a homicide, and he thinks that he's been protecting her. Wu doesn't like going over Nick, but he's troubled by Trubel. Renard promises to look into it.

Sara tells Nick and Hank that Nate was there. Ben is less concerned about his assault on him, and more on the promise that he would return and do worse. Nick and Hank plan to head to Nate's and Ben will go with them to the remote location. David asks Nick if Theresa can come visit, that she sees the monsters too.

In Austria, Adalind continues her journey. She thought that she would be to the top by now. Her asking awakens the walls, who claim to know where her baby is. Her guide wants them to continue on, but Adalind wants to know more about her baby. Adalind has a min breakdown, and the walls begin to weep, filling the stairway with water. She begs then to stop crying, but they won't.

Monroe and Rosalee come back to the Spice Shop to find Adalind there. Monroe is ready to go on the attack, but Rosalee puts it all together. Elizabeth has cracked the spell. They have almost everything that they need, there's one final thing, but its not up to them.

The stairwell is full of water, and Adalind struggles to swim her way out.

Nate finds himself stuck. The wheels of his truck spin but go nowhere, stuck in the clay. Nate goes out to investigate and finds the clay holding him back.

Nick, Hank, and Ben arrive to find Nate enveloped in clay. Hank asks Ben why he didn't call the Golem back. The golem isn't exactly an assassin , but a kick ass guardian angel. Anytime David feels threatened, the Golem will go into action. Ben plans to look into his scroll, and Hank will call off the police from the house for protection.

Trubel arrives to play with David.

Ben tells Hank and David the only way that he knows to get rid of the Golem. With the name of God written on a piece of paper he has to put the paper in its mouth. There isn't a way to call the Golem to them, so they're forced to scare the kid.

Nick calls Trubel and lets her know that they're coming back. Ben is ready to scare David, but he's worried about his sister. She doesn't believe in the Golem. Ben doesn't want to scare his nephew, but he has no choice. Nick and Hank send David out with Trubel and Nick to see Ben. Hank stays inside to talk to Sara about Nate. Ben apologizes for what is about to happen. Nick asks why he lied to all of them. Nick warns him that he's going to have to arrest the child. Ben protests loudly, and Sara wants to run out to protect her child. The Golem rises behind Nick, and Ben jumps to place the name of God in the monster's mouth. The Golem knocks Ben away and goes after Nick. Trubel launches an attack on the Golem. Ben holds back Sara to protect her, and David attacks his protector to save Trubel. David is victorious against his monster. Nick vows to never yell at another child.

Juliette gets the after story. The Golem was the result of prayer. If David hadn't turned on his protector they wouldn't be there. A knock at the door reveals Monroe, Rosalee and Elizabeth. They're ready to get his Grimm back. There's a key ingredient missing, one he's not going to like: Juliette.

DYIN' ON A PRAYER (TV-PG)

AN ANCIENT EVIL ARISES AND CONSUMES ITS VICTIMS – JACQUELINE TOBONI, DAVID JULIAN HIRSH AND LOUISE LOMBARD GUEST STAR – Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby) are called to an unusual crime scene with a victim who appears to have died from clay-induced asphyxiation. At the Spice Shop, Elizabeth (guest star Louise Lombard) makes a major breakthrough with regards to restoring Nick’s powers, while Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) and Rosalee (Bree Turner) experience cultural backlash as a result of their inter-Wesen marriage. 

In Europe, Adalind (Claire Coffee) hopes that putting trust in her mysterious visitor will help her escape the dungeon.

Remember last week when Renard died and we were all devastated? Well we pick up right there this week. Elizabeth enters, but the doctors try to stop her. Her eyes glow blue and time freezes. She uses a two headed snake jumper cable on our favorite shirtless captain. The black headed end bites Renard and the red her, as it transfers life away from her, turning her pale. She drops the snake to the ground where it turns to ash, and time comes back into play as she collapses to the ground. Renard comes back to the land of the living.

In Vienna, Victor's man reports that there are no traces to the dead FBI guy, which is a good thing, as the King will be out for blood. Adalind has arrived at the gate, to Victor's surprise. She tells him that she has done what he's asked, but Victor wants proof. He tells her that there is conflicting information, and one of their operatives was beheaded. Adalind has no idea about that, she just needs to see her baby. Victor's man will get confirmation that she's done as she was suppose to, and Victor has the gates opened. He has the west wing readied for her to stay in while she's there, since she'll be there for a long time.

Mr. Octopus head returns to his hotel, untentacled. Trubel follows him at a discreet distance. Outside, Hank asks how Juliette is handling things, and he tells him that she's trying not to blame him. If telling everyone and throwing him under the bus constantly is not blaming him, then sure, that's what she's doing. Hank reminds him not to blame himself either. Trubel reports in.

Adalind asks about her baby, hoping that she's eating well. Victor claims that she's brightened up the entire place, and is a joy to everyone. Victor asks how it was to shag a grimm. Adalind claims to have done her duty, and not not for enjoyment. She wonders about the dank conditions, but Victor assures her that its the most secure place in the castle. He asks her if she knows about Renard, that he was shot in Nick's home. Adalind is in a state of shock. Victor opens one of the doors and traps Adalind inside before revealing that he doesn't have the baby, that she was taken by the Resistance. Adalind did what she thought she had to for her baby, but she did it all for nothing.

Trubel listens in as “Mr. Anderson” checks in, learning his room number. Octopus Head takes the elevator, and Trubel books up the stairs, because you know she didn't just hear the room number and all. She watches him enter the room. He strips down, things to do, and Trubel goes to make a call. A little just for men is calling.

Kent calls Henry, but he's not answering the phone anytime soon. He's still in the hospital, probably trying to eat paste or something.

Trubel tells Hank and Nick that she's found the room number. She wants to go in and take him out, but they don't have enough evidence to do much with him. She wants to go all Grimm on him, but they're playing this one by the books. Trubel asks for a little lunch money, and Hank gives it to her, but asks for a reciept.

Rosalee and Monroe have hit a brick wall. They're striking out all over the place on what to do to help Nick. So far they've come up with nothing. They figure at the least, Nick still being a cop, can figure up where the antedote was cooked up so they can maybe reconstruct it.

Trubel stuffs her face with a sandwich. In his room, Anderson pours over pilfered memories. He shuffles through to get Kent's address and contact information. Trubel tries to listen in, but doesn't hear more than a little heavy breathing. Anderson gives Kent a call, pretending to be a colleague of Henry's. Kent asks if he's seen Henry, he's been trying to locate him. Anderson tells him that Henry was in a bad accident, and his girlfriend murdered. Anderson doesn't want to go over the bad news over the phone, Kent agrees and give him his address, which Anderson already had. Trubel hauls butt away from the door before Anderson leaves. She makes it to the laundry just in time, but drops her sandwich in the process. Anderson notices the sandwich, but doesn't see her. Anderson heads off onto the streets. Trubel tries to keep up with him.

Elizabeth checks on her patient. Renard awakens to see his mother there.

Hank has a problem with Lawrence Anderson's motor vehicle records, but Nick finds some information on his job. He works in aerospace technologies like Henry did.

Anderson waits for a bus, as Trubel watches.

Nick calls Lawrence Anderson's work. His former boss tells him that Anderson suffered a devastating head injury a few weeks back. He was once a brilliant mind before the accident, and a defense contractor. Octopus head stole his identity, memories and likely military secrets. He's like a super Wesen spy, and there's no way for them to prove it as it''s all stored in his head. Chavez takes Nick aside for a chat. Trubel fills Hank in on Anderson's appearance change. She was suppose to stay at the hotel, but she insists that she has this. She follows him, and Hank warns he how dangerous he is, and urges her to check in continuously.

Chavez takes Nick into a private room for a conversation off the record. She asks why Renard was in his house, if he knows Stewart or why he'd want to kill Captain Renard. None of these questions are ones that Nick has answers to. She alludes that its Nick's problem, but Nick thinks its more of a conspiracy. Chavez turns her attention to Trubel. Nick admits that he's been trying to help her, that she's had some tough times but is a good kind. Chavez wargs, but Nick doesn't flinch, not seeing anything.

Wu gets a step closer to putting something together. He pulls some of the footage of Trebel when she was a suspect in a murder, which she did commit.

In Vienna, Adalind gets served her meal of slop. Literally, slop. She's not pleased with the accommodations. She throws the slop across the room as Victor watches from his monitor. He's enjoying act one of his dungeon fantasy.

Hank tries to dig deeper into Slocum's work. Wu asks a bit about Trubel, wanting to know about her studies, before he can really crack the shell, Hank uses Nicks return to make a break for it. Wu is starting to figure things out, they should just tell Wu. It would make everyone's life easier. Hank found that Slocum had top security clearance just like Anderson, and now “Anderson” has left and changed his appearance.

Chavez reports that Nick is not the Grimm, but she suspects that she knows who the Grimm is. She's headed to confirm her theory.

Juliette pays Rosalee and Monroe a visit. She's on a mission. Rosalee apologizes for not having the problem solved yet, and Juliette doesn't want it to be. Being a Grimm hasn't been the greatest thing for Nick, and she says that he isn't sure he wants to be on still. She thinks that him being Grimmless may be the best thing for them. Monroe and Rosalee know that just because he can't see them, it doesn't mean his life will be easier, or that it'll go back to normal. You can't unsee something, and for her to ask them to do nothing is purely selfish. She wants a little time, and Rosalee and Monroe placate her. They plan to keep looking as good friends would.

Renard is back to the land of the living, and he's surprised that his mother is really there. He thought she was a dream. She's glad that she made it in time. Renard realizes that he was dead. She gave him life twice. She asks who killed him, and he tells her about the Wesen that was working with the Royals. Renard remembers about Nick, but he's in no shape to go after him to help. He tells his mother about her new grandchild.

Trebel continues to follow at a not so descret distance. Nick calls Trebel. She knows that he's going after someone, but not who. Nick warns her not to pursue him, that he's dangerous and they don't know much about him. She loses him for a moment, as she gives Nick vague cross streets. Trebel has a listening problem.

Kent's spidey senses are working overtime. He knows something is up. Not only did Slocum access data remotely, but he's had a sudden accident. He doesn't know the details but he thinks he's about to find out. Anderson arrives, and Kent welcomes him in. Anderson tells him a vague cover story. Anderson asks for a glass of water, and Kent goes to retrieve it. He gets ready to go all octopus when he spots Trebel lurking about outside. Kent comes back with his water. Trebel peeks in through the windows and sees a passed out Kent on the floor. Anderson knocks her out from behind.

Nick and Hank arrive at the cross streets and finds no Trebel. Nick gives her a jingle, but Anderson chucks her phone into Kent's aquarium. Nick wonders if she's still following him, and Hank wonders if she's been made. They decide to go to Anderson's room to look for clues.

Adalind wakes up surrounded by rats. She goes all Hexenbeist and scares the rats away. Poor thing just want her baby back. A light comes from across the room, and some creepy giggles from the cell next to her. She asks the giggles to talk to her, and tells him her name. But his name is for him to know and her to find out. Someone wants to play a game.

Anderson loots over Trebel's unconscious form, he slaps her a bit to wake her. He knows that she's been following her. She's too young to be a cop, and she has no ID and little money. He asks why she's been following him, but she doesn't answer. No matter, he'll find out soon. He goes all octopus head on her, but doesn't pry into her mind, but instead goes after Kent.

Nick and Hank have the hotel manager open up Anderson's room. She's concerned that he may return, and be violent. Nick finds an address near where they were, and Hank tells her if he returns to call the police.

Octopus Head begins prying information from Kent's mind. Trebel uses the opportunity to get up and kick him, even though her hands are behind her back, like shes Black Widow or something. Octopus head throws her through a table, and turns his tentacles on her. She can lie all she wants, but he can pull the information he wants from her.

Nick and Hank rush to the address knowing that Trebel is in trouble.

Octopus man gets more than he bargained for. He sees all of her hunting and killing of Wesen, and becomes a screaming mess in the corner. Looks like what he sees he can't unsee either. Hank takes care of cuffing Anderson, and Nick sees to Trebel. She's got some serious brain pain, but she's got her memories. Nick warns her to not argue. Hank checks on Kent. He too seems to be okay, just some holes in his head, and some major pain. Anderson seems to be the worst off, haunted by Trebel's memories.

Anderson is really Timothy Croftin Perkal, a Canadian Citizen wanted world wide for espionage. With all those secrets he's stolen, Hank wonders what he got from Trebel. He awakens in his cell, screaming in terror.

Hank and Nick go to see Renard. He's looking pretty good for recently being dead. He asks if Nick got what he sent to him, but Nick did not. He's still Grimmless. Renard is so sorry, he tried. Nick understands, and they can talk about it when he's feeling better. Renard blames himself for not knowing what Adalind was up to, he's just grateful for Trebel. Nick is just glad that Renard is still there. Renard introduces the men to his mother, his very youthful looking mother.

Trebel rushes down for breakfast. Her neck hurts, but she's in pretty good condition. Trebel heads off, as Nick yells at her to be careful. He's not sure if he feel comfortable asking her to help him, or that she could stay out of trouble anyways. Juliette points out that she's a lot like him, and not just the hair. Trebel sets off on Juliette's bike as Chavez and Wu watches her leave in separate cars. Wu heads to Nick's house, and Nick assumes its the Captain. Wu is there about something else. He's having trouble sleeping. He gives Nick a picture of Trebel. She's a suspect in a double homicide, and yet she was introduced as a criminology student. He asks Nick to clear things up for him. Nick tells him that its complicated, when his head begins to suddenly hurt. In Vienna, Adalind is experiencing similar pain. She begins to see Juliette. Nick can't see Juliette even though she's right in front of him. He's seeing what Adalind is seeing, as their visions go in and out of each others the pain is excruciating. It suddenly stops. Nick isn't sure he's okay. Juliette ses Trebel's picture and picks it up off the ground.

Trebel gets grabbed on the street off her bike by Chavez and her men.

Grimm is back tonight, and if you've been watching my twitter feed you know that I've been anxiously awaiting the Grimmiere. It's finally here, and maybe just maybe the writers won't be too mean and answer some of the cliffhangers. Just how permanent is Nick's grimmlessness, will Renard survive, and will Wu ever come into the light and know about Wesen?

Captain Renard is rushed into surgery. Hank gets the news where the Captain is, but nothing on his condition. The shooter didn't know Trubel was a Grimm until he vogued, which gave her time to grab the machete and behead him and probably saved Renard's life. Trubel has no clue what was in the vial only that Renard told her that Nick had to drink it to undo Adalindd's spell. As a hexenbeast, her spell is likely permanent, and Juliette drops the bomb that Adalindd also used a spell to look like her and sleep with Nick. I get she's pissed, but her anger is misplaced. Nick had no clue. If it looks like a duck, walks and talks like a duck, how did he know he wasn't suppose to diddle the duck, well Juliette, but you know what I mean. The street is closed off, and Trubel wants to turn around, but they have to face the heat eventually. Hank tells the group that if they're going to lie, and really they have to then they need to be telling the same lie.

A man has a flash of memories. Military mixed with science. He approaches a house, Henry Slocum's. Henry doesn't know Dr. Anderson, but he's familiar with his name, a friend of a friend. He's always spoken highly of. He has some bad news, Danny has been in a terrible accident. He was in town and didn't think it appropriate to deliver the news over the phone. He vogues into an octopus man, and sucks face with Henry. Poor guy, that has to well...suck.

The doctors continue to work on Renard. Our poor Captain does not look good.

Trubel worries that she's going to be arrested. Wu reads Trubel's book when he's told that Nick and Hank have arrived. Wu recognizes Trubel, and she says that she was staying with Nick. Wu thinks that its a good thing that she wasn't there, but Nick clarifies that she was, and that she was the one who beheaded the attacker. Nick and Hank get a good look at the crime scene. The body has already been identified as Weston Stewart, but a passport with a different name and a whole lot of Euros was found on the body. He wasn't planning on sticking around after gunning down the Captain. Wu asks if Teresa was staying in the guest room, and Nick says that she was. Wu asks about the book, and Nick tells him that its his. The working detectives question Nick and Hank. They stick to their story, Poge and Meecham head out to question Teresa, but the FBI arrive. Teresa is freaked out, and her first instinct is to run, but that's not an option.

Anderson continues to suck at Henry's face drawing memories out of him. He gets the memories of Alexandra, his girlfriend from him, as well as those of involving his classified work. With the memories extracted, he leaves Henry on the ground, but Alexandra comes home early. She was suppose to be in Paris. With Henry on the ground, Alexandra runs to his aid, but he doesn't recognize her. She tries to get away from Anderson but he attacks her with a bookend. Had she just come home as planned she would still be alive.

Special Agent Chavez and Special Agent Ronson take over the questioning. Since Nick wasn't there, they take Teresa alone to go over the details. Nick is worried about her, but Juliette is sure that she can handle herself. Nick and Hank will need to go to the precinct to make a statement. Juliette refuses to leave the house, its hers and she's feeling violated and affronted.

Inside Trubel goes over the details of what lead to the beheading. She sticks to the truth, omitting the vogueing. She goes over the fact that he broke in, shot the Captain. She'd never seen the shooter in her life, but he came after her, and shot at her. She hit her head on a table when she was trying to get away, she grabbed the first weapon she saw and fought back in fear of her life. The agents take her down to the station, Wu listened from the hallway the entire time.

In Austria, Viktor continues scheming against someone wishing to be elected. He's interrupted with news that Stewart shot Renard, but he was beheadded. The man is unsure if Nick did the beheadding, only knows that it happened in his house. Renard isn't dead, but in critical condition. Viktor's uncle would be devastated to learn that another son perished, especially this one, since he's so attached to him, which makes the secret of Viktor's involvement all the more important.

Dr. Anderson tosses the murder weapon into the harbor before contacting his boss. He tells him that he ran into a problem. The job isn't finished, and he needs to stay until its done, and now the boss is headed there.

Special Agent Chavez looks through Trubel's things. She finds one of her books on Wesen and vogues into a bird like creature. She asks her partner his take on the girl. She saw the police captain get shot, and then the shooter went after her. If it was his daughter she'd be a basket-case. Both conclude that he girl isn't normal, but because she isn't she's still alive. Chavez places the Grimm diaries under the nightstand, not where she found them and heads out.

The body is finally removed, and Juliette gets her house back. It is a mess, lamp still knocked over, and blood in the hallway. You would have thought they would have cleaned it up a little, for sanitation reasons at least. There's bullet holes in the hallways, and blood upstairs, but Juliette heads straight to her desecrated bedroom, focusing on that. Monroe and Rosalee arrive, they skipped their honeymoon in all the chaos, which is the last thing Juliette wants for them. They couldn't go anywhere with what is going one, they didn't even want to try.

Trubel continues to be questioned at the precinct, by the detectives as the special agents watch from behind the glass. Her story remains consistent. Everything she says matches the crime scene and Ronson thinks that she's telling the truth. Chavez remains silent.

Hank gets flight information. Nick gives Hank a cup of coffee, and he cautions him to calm down. He doesn't want to appear nervous. He needs to lay off the caffeine. The flight information was Adalind's, and boy is she in for a surprise when she arrives in Vienna and there is no baby there waiting. She's headed straight to the Royals, but they can't hold up their end of the deal. The Special Agents conclude that Trubel is free to go. Her story is consistent and there's no reason for them to charge her. Hank asks why their agent would want to shoot their Captain. He's been off the grid for weeks. They have no idea of motives. Chavez is cold towards them, and they know that something is up, but no clue that she's Wesen. Nick isn't even getting a tingle from his grimmhood. They go to check on the Trubel, but she's fine. Hank heads to check on Renard.

Dr. Anderson pours over his new found memories to get into the Sitre Corp system. One of the techs notice something odd about Slocum's login and decide to call him to verify that he was logged in, but the transfer is complete. Anderson got what he wanted, and no one answered the tech's call.

Hank arrives at the hospital, Wu is already there waiting for news. Wu is still struggling with things that he's seen, and the books at Nick's house is only making everything worse. The pictures in the book look like what he thought he saw, there are monsters inside of people. Wu is on the verge of discovery or breaking. Hank tries to play it off that there are monsters inside of people, that their faces change when they get angry. Wu confesses that he's still having nightmares. Hank is about to shed some light on Wu, when the doctor interrupts. Renard is out of surgery, but he's lost a lot of blood and there's a good chance that he goes into renal failure. They suggest that his next of kin be contacted.

Still in their wedding duds, Rosalee and Monroe go into full detective mode trying to figure out the cause. They know that Renard brought something for Nick to drink, and assume that it has something to do with the attack. Renard would know what was in the bottle, but he's not in any position to talk. Adalind would know but she's not likely to talk. Trubel and Nick arrive, Nick voices his concern over them being there when they should be enjoying their honeymoon. They couldn't enjoy it with the current crisis. Trubel apologizes for crashing their wedding, and sort of ruining it. Rosalee doesn't blame her, she knows that she was trying to save Nick. They need to find Adalind but she's headed back to Vienna. Trubel blames herself for their predicament, but Juliette reminds her that it isn't her fault but Adalind's, and she blurts out that Nick slept with Adalind. Seriously give the guy a break. He thought his girlfriend was seducing him, not some crazy Hexenbeast wearing her face. Nick has to explain himself as Rosalee thinks she knows what happened, hoping its not an entwining curse. They're headed to the spice shop to look for answers. Nick doesn't want Monroe screwing up his life over him, but Monroe reminds him that he wouldn't have his life if it weren't for him. Trubel wants to go to the trailer, but Juliette puts the kibosh on that for the night, so she heads off to bed. Alone, Juliette wants answers. Nick gives them to her, but she's not happy about it, he really had no clue. He offers to sleep on the couch, but she's not putting him completely in the doghouse.

Chavez stares at Trubel's mugshot. Ronson has been investigating Stewart, and found that he placed a call to GQR Industries before his death. They're still working on the connection. Stewart's car was also found about a block from Burkhardt's and inside was a packed suitcase.

Trubel does some light reading, as she relives the moment they realized Nick was truly Grimmless.

In bed, Nick can't seem to sleep. He replays his moments with Adalind as Juliette, what she said prior to him stripping her down. He puts his sleepless night to good use, and heads downstairs to clean up the blood. Juliette finds him scrubbing. He didn't want her to wake up to the blood, but she isn't willing to let him do it alone. Nick wonders if him no longer being a Grimm is a good thing for them.

Ronson inventories the contents of Stewart's suitcase. On the surface it seems completely innocent, until they find a special pouch. It is filled with money and passports from multiple countries. He was definitely ready to run, and obviously working for someone besides the FBI.

Nick gets a new case. Neither he nor Juliette got much sleep. Losing his Grimm is kind of weird, and he wonders if he'll still be a good cop without it. Trubel watches him leave before she heads down. Juliette isn't okay. Trubel asks to borrow her bike, and Juliette allows her, reminding her to be careful since she's now the only Grimm in town.

Nick's new case is Alexandra. Slocum was there when the police arrived, but he was so out of it, that they sent him to the hospital. There was no history of domestic disturbances. About ten minutes after they arrived, the neighbor ran over to tell them that they heard a scream and then Slocum racing off in his Porsche. But the car is still gone, and Slocum was there. It's possible that he took the car somewhere, and came back via cab, or more likely that someone else was there. Wu puts out an APB on the car, and Nick and Hank head to check on Slocum.

He's got wounds to the back of his head, and swelling and damage to the area of the brain where memories are stored. His doctor isn't surprised he's having trouble remembering anything, and looking at him, he still looks lost. She took pictures of his wounds, looks like someone was boring holes for a bowling ball, they just added an extra one. It's like nothing she's ever seen before.

Nick drives Hank out to the trailer. Its on property that's hard to find and not in his name. Trubel has already arrived, and she comes leaping out with a Katana in hand. She wasn't sure it was him or not. She rode all the way out to do some reading, trying to learn all that she can since now she's the only Grimm. She goes to work to help them find out what ate the man's memories.

The bossman meets with Anderson. Time is short, and he needs him to deliver. They need to prove to their client that what he is stealing is worth the fee that their asking. He offers up a key to entice them. His boss wants to hear about the collateral, and Anderson reveals Slocum's girl's death. He left it clean though. He can't be tied to the crime, as soon as he dumps the car. The boss tells him to get rid of the car. Anderson goes to the car, and a pair of officers stop him, questioning him about the car. He tells them that his friend Slocum loaned him the car for the weekend.

Trubel finds something in the books she thinks may be their culprit. Its some sort of memory eaters. The book isn't sure how the memories are taken exactly, but that the memories are stolen leaving the victims with a debilitating dementia. Nick gets the call that a suspect has been apprehended, and Trubel heads with the guys to the station.

A blonde walks the halls, definitely not Adalind, with her headed to Vienna. Renard seizes, and his heart stops prompting a code blue. A crash team responds while Elizabeth looks on.

Anderson goes over his story. He tells them that he was visiting his friend when his girlfriend arrived home from her trip early. The two began fighting, and Slocum gave his Porsche to use to check into a hotel. He was on his way to return it when he was brought in for questioning. Hank breaks to him the death of Alexandra, and Slocum still being in the hospital. He's worried over his friend, but offers to do whatever he can to help. Hank has him write up his statement, while the pair head to the other side of the glass. Nick didn't pick up anything, his confidence in himself diminishing. Anderson could be telling the truth, but if he's not they have nothing to hold him on. There's only one type of Wesen that could make the marks left on Slocum, and if Anderson isn't that kind, they're wasting their time. Hank plans to deploy a little Trubel. Anderson is free to go, but the Porsche stays. Anderson rushes out in a hurry, and walks right into Trubel who tries to mug him. He fully vogues on her, and she runs off, reporting to Nick and Hank that he is their man. She heads back out after Anderson.

Renard's heart refuses to start, and his death is officially called.

He can't stay dead right?!? And worse, there's no sign of him in next weeks previews. Why, oh why? That Hexenbeast Elizabeth is there for a reason, and it's not to watch Renard die, so do something already!
