Greendale is set to be sold to Subway and in order to stop it, the study group goes off in search for the computer lab of Russell Borchert, the school's first Dean. They're hoping to find tremendous wealth which they could use to save the school. Hickey and Shirley come in with the school's blueprints which starts their search, while Chang sneakily follows. Jeff, Britta, Annie, Abed and the Dean head down a secret passageway while Shirley, Hickey, and Duncan stay behind to try to fend off Chang and the school board members set on completing the deal with Subway.

They reach the lab and discover Russell Borchert alive and hiding inside. Chang and the school board members begin interrogating Hickey and Shirley to learn where the others went. There is a bit of a moment between Annie and Jeff with some prolonged eye contact and her subtly telling him that he's making a self-destructive decision by wanting to be with Britta but she will support him anyway.

Chang and the board members come into the lab and steal the millions of dollars Borchert had stowed away and offered up to the gang. They put a magnet on the hard drive and run out, thereby locking the group inside. Borchert tells the group that the computer responds to feelings and that he was the one who founded Greendale. Jeff finds documents in the room to support Borchert's ownership of the school. Jeff makes the group turn around and harnesses his feelings for Annie to surge the computer and get the door open, springing them free.

The study group heads up and interrupts a press conference taking place for the Subway deal. When the Subway executives learn that Russell Borchert would be their partner if they go through with the deal, they call the whole thing off. Jeff and Britta decide to not get married but remain on good terms. Chang is offered a job on the school board and his first task is to deliver the money to the city office. He instead uses it to have all his teeth replaced with diamonds. Abed breaks the fourth wall to say that they'll be back next year.

The gang experiences a rare moment of contentment as they find they have accomplished everything on their to-do list. The Dean learns that Greendale will be visited by an insurance appraiser the following day. He delivers this news to the Save Greendale committee and their initial reaction is panic. Jeff tells them all to relax and that they have done great work on the school.

The Save Greendale committee gets to work on double-checking everything to make sure the school is in tip-top shape before the appraiser comes. The appraiser arrives and is named Ronald Mohammad. He conducts his evaluation and finds that the property actually has value. The owners of Greendale are thrilled by this news because they want to shop around and find a corporation to sell the property to. The Save Greendale community is devastated by this news.

Greendale is sold to Subway. Annie tries to brainstorm ideas to save Greendale but Jeff points out that none of what she has come up with will work. Chang reveals he is now loyal to Subway. Annie and Abed head to the Dean's office to help him pack up his belongings. Abed finds an engraved plate on one of the pictures that says "The truth is behind this picture." Abed moves the frame and finds a slot in the wall containing a small scroll. He, Annie, and the Dean open it and gasp at what they see.

Jeff is offered a job from Subway, along with a Subway Black Card that will offer him $5 Footlongs for life, whatever that means. He heads to the study room and tells Britta about his job offer. They agree that they are both looking forward to having some sanity and reminisce over the fact that all of this began with him trying to nail her. Britta is about to leave to go clean out her locker and Jeff suggests that they get married, saying that this is what will make everything matter. She says yes, they kiss, and they decide to lock the doors, pull the shades, and have sex on the new table (which they have yet to christen). It's then that Abed, Annie, and the Dean crash into the room to tell them there might be buried treasure on campus and this could potentially save Greendale. Change eavesdrops outside the room and laughs maniacally whilst taking notes on what he has overheard.

Hicky and Duncan share a drink and learn that Hicky was stationed in Lincolnshire, where Duncan is from. They have a brief moment where they wonder if Hicky might have slept with Duncan's mother, but then they realise it might have just been his aunt instead. The awkward moment returns when they realise he might be Duncan's cousin's father.

In an animated fashion, the team fights alongside G.I. Joe to defend the Taj Mahal. The team is put on trial after Joe kills a bad guy, since no one has ever killed Destro until now. "Wingman" (Jeff) points out that if noe one kills Cobra, the fighting will never end. They're thrown in jail and meet "Fourth Wall" (Abed) who tells them he thinks they're all a cartoon. He tells them about Greendale, a word that causes Jeff to have headaches and fall over, having a vision of a commercial for G.I. Joe toys.

Cobra has a funeral for Destro. The speaker says that it doesn't make sense, since they have been shooting at each other for 20 years without anyone dying. Cobra attacks the base and a blast frees the gang from their cell. J tries to lay down a suppressive fire and ends up killing several more people. The group gets away in a jet but Wingman passes out yet again when Fourth Wall mentions Greendale.

The group returns to the base where Greendale is and Wingman begins to remember his old life as Jeff and all the original character's names. He sets out to find the truth and finds his ID which makes him realise he is unconscious after drinking and taking some pills. It's his birthday and he was lying about his age so this reality is his means of dealing with it. Fourth Wall tells him that they need to get back to reality which is separated from this reality by a "child's commercial" reality that he sees in his visions. Cobra and G.I. Joe's team crash in, having teamed up as G.I. Jobra since they can't kill each other.

Wingman has been taken prisoner and tells them he wants what they want. They warn him that he is too powerful but he says he just wants to hang out with them and blow stuff up. They agree and release him from his restraints. They then ask him questions about real life, beginning with what boobies feel like. Wingman becomes disillusioned by the fact that they've never seen a naked woman or tasted scotch. He decides he wants to get out and runs off, flying away on a jetpack. He flies towards reality while Destro holds onto his leg, being killed by the transition. He's then shown as flying in a child's commercial and the kid holding him says he's not controlling the action figure.

Jeff wakes in the hospital, surrounded by the group, the Dean, and Chang. Jeff then confesses to the group that he's 40. They say that they had a feeling he had to be close to that age. He says he had a crazy dream about G.I. Joe where they were all animated in it. Britta gives him his present, an "It's a Boy" mug with the word "old" drawn in before the word boy.

Finally, we see Buzzkill (Britta) lecturing some children who had vandalised a park. Fourth Wall arrives and says that they should keep the messages short and simple.

Hickey gets an e-mail from his sister asking him what he will be bringing to his grandson's birthday party. He is grumpy about this because he has a strained relationship with the boy's son and has therefore not been invited to the party. He tells the group that the only thing his son Hank ever does is play Dungeons and Dragons. Annie suggests that they play the game in order to reconnect Hickey with his son. The Dean invites himself along to the game.

Abed assumes the role of Dungeon Master. The goal of the game is that they reach the top of a mountain and kill the Necromancer to free the realm from its evil magic. Hank is put off upon learning that his character is the son of Hickey's character. they're then forced to reassign characters, leading the Dean to now be Jeff's son. Hank becomes hostile in his moves, leading him and Hickey to argue. He tells Hick that he didn't invite him to his son's birthday party because he wanted to enjoy it. Jeff tries to mediate the situation but Abed announces that the events of the game have caused the group to be split in two. Hank tries to leave but Hickey challenges him, saying that if he kills the Necromancer, he will get to come to his grandson's birthday party. Hank agrees, saying that if he kills the Necromancer first, Hickey must not come to Christmas or Thanksgiving at Aunt Rachel's place.

The group is split with Hickey, Jeff, Annie, and Shirley in one group and Hank, Chang, Britta, and the Dean in the other. Hickey sets off (in the game), and the other follow after him. He is attacked by hobgoblins and tries to fend them by punching them in the heart. Shirley casts a protective spell but ends up dead after doing so. She lays a guilt trip on Hickey as she leave the apartment and game. Abed warns Hickey that he should be taking this game seriously, since his son does, before heading to the other room to continue on with the other group.

Hank tells the group that he knows they think he's the bad guy but that his father was never there growing up. The game continues on and eventually the groups are reunited. Dean tries to hug Jeff, using his character as an excuse to do so but it leads to him being killed, though he still insists on hugging Jeff, before falling down dead. A battle ensues between the two groups and several dice rolls later, everyone except Hickey and Hank are dead. The two refuse to quit playing, and Jeff tells the rest of the group as they exit the apartment that they can't stand to be in the same room, nor can they stand to be apart. By continuing the game, they're avoiding doing either.

The episode ends with Abed being the Dungeon Master to a game where several stuffed animals are playing. Annie interrupts to ask Abed if he is almost done, since she cannot sleep without her "stuffies." Abed rolls the dice once more and declares that a goblin murders all of them, then bids Annie goodnight.

The Save Greendale Committee is meeting and Annie welcomes Chang, their newest member. Each member receives a massive packet of Greendale's latest emergencies and Britta is angry about so much paper being wasted. They begin talking about "Bloodlines of Conquest," an HBO medieval fantasy series based on a book series (this is clearly a parody of Game of Thrones). Britta is mad about he mention of dragons because she does want spoilers, stating that she only begins watching shows when they are so popular that it no longer makes a statement. When Abed mentions the death of a character, Britta becomes angry, threatening to go ahead and read the books thereby spoiling the show's plot. Abed retorts that that is something an insane person would do. Annie assigned Abed and Britta to update the student census. Annie asks who wants to be on the decorating committee for the midterm dance happening that night. No one is interested until Annie assigns the task to herself, after which everyone offers to join in on the task. She asks everyone if they are only volunteering because they think she will do all the work and everyone lies and says no, except for Professor Buzz Hicky, whose honesty is rewarded with a seemingly easy task: re-hanging a bulletin board that fell down. The meeting is adjourned and Annie states that for every completed task, a star will be posted on the task wall. She goes to put the first task "Have a productive meeting," on the wall but her hand goes through the wall and a bird flies out. Roll opening credits.

Britta has begun reading the books and attempts to spoil the plot for Abed but is unable to do so since he is wearing some serious sound-blocking headphones. Hicky visits the janitor to obtain a drill, a few screws, and a bulletin board but the janitor only tells him that if he wants to hang a bulletin board, he will have to get a work order. Abed approaches a girl to fill out the census but tells her not to speak since he can't hear (because of his headphones). She signs back to him that she can't hear either. He asks if she is deaf and reading lips and she signs back that she is. He spouts some gibberish and tells her she is good since she couldn't understand it. He also signs gibberish to her and the girl smiles and walks off. Britta asks if he is going to have another intense burst of compatibility with a girl that they'll end up never seeing again and he replies that he can't hear her and signs "Banana."

Annie tries to come up with a theme and no one appears interested in helping with suggestions except for Chang, but Annie snaps that his last idea was "murder." Hicky comes in to tell Annie that the bulletin board is a no-go, and she gently taunts his inability to get the simple task done. He states that he knows when to walk away after a life-time of experience with red tape. The taunting continues and Hicky dares her to get it done. She accepts the challenge and slides her massive book of ideas across the table, saying that she is now on bulletin board duty. Everyone else is now in charge of the dance.

Annie and Hicky go down to visit the custodians and charms them with her knowledge of their names and facts about their lives. One puts a work order in for her and states that it should be ready within three to six months. But when she tries to bump up her placement, she insults them by not knowing the difference between janitors and custodians. Hicky tells her he expects she'll give up before being able to get the bulletin board up and she tells him game on.

Abed spots Britta spying on him as he approaches his locker. He goes to open the locker and immediately steps away as a banner drops out with a spoiler written on it. Britta is angry by her foiled plan. He signs "Nice try" to her and she tells him it isn't over. He then signs, "Sandals. Sandals," as she walks away.

Annie visits a custodian party but is turned away despite her attempt to use her knowledge of facts on one custodian's family. Hicky manages to get them in by noting that one of their possessions is not up to code. They are introduced to head custodian, Bob Waite, played by the legendary Nathan Fillion! Waite knows that they're there about the bulletin board and Waite tells them they want their porn sites unblocked at work. Annie remains determined but Hicky doesn't think it'll be worth it.

Abed meets the deaf girl again and signs, "I learned how to say this in sign language." She signs back that he learns quick and that he shouldn't forget that she can read lips but he replies each time with the same and only phrase he knows how to sign.

In the cafeteria, the rest of the gang is still trying to come up with a theme for the dance. Chang suggests the play on words: "Bear down for midterms." The gang is confused and not at all keen on the silly idea but Chang become insistent and eventually emotional, stating that he has paid for his crimes and wants to be taken seriously. He also asks if their dismissal is "a racial thing," to which they all insist that it isn't. To cease his hysterics, they agree to use his theme. They begin making decorations and despite the idea being terrible, they keep at it to keep Chang from getting emotional yet again.

Annie and Hicky meet with a woman in the IT department, and try to bribe her to unblock the porn sites for the custodians. She asks for better parking and Annie tells her that if they do this, everything must get through. When she asks what she means by everything, Annie roars back, "EVERYTHING!" They meet with a parking guy and he wants control over all the bulletin boards from the Dean. Annie and Hicky meet with the Dean who agrees to the idea on the condition that Hicky say the phrase, "Easy peasy lemon squeezy." Hicky refuses to compromise and gets in a fight with Annie. He thinks that she is compromising her integrity and she begins to feel guilty.

Abed and the deaf girl sign to each other a conversation about what Ewoks sound like.

A fellow delivers some sodas is horrified by the dance theme, telling them that a bear broke loose that morning at a kid's birthday party in Wisconsin, mauling several people. Apparently the story has been all over the news. Jeff, Shirley, and Professor are embarrassed and Chang tells them that that must have been where he got the theme from. Later, Annie joins the group to find the theme, "Fat Dog For Midterms." In an effort to salvage their mistakes, they have put bigger ears on all the bears to transform them into dogs. When she expresses confusion over the theme, the gang all employs the same tactics Change had previously used on them, including the "racial thing." She agrees to go along with the idea.

At the dance, Abed and the deaf girl are still hanging out. He signs that their day together has been great. She agrees and continues on to sign that sometimes good days can turn ugly. She compares it to a massacre that takes place on "Bloodlines of Conquest," (the massacre being an obvious parody of the infamous "Red Wedding"). In the Community-verse, this plot bunny is how the last book ends. Britta comes over and thanks her, incorrectly signing "Sugar," and gives her some cash. Abed is deeply saddened and removes his headphones. Britta gloats but then feels guilty after seeing how truly upset Abed is. Abed leaves the dance and sees the same coat check girl, Rachel, he once had a fling with. He apologises for not calling and when she asks him out to lunch, he says no and that he would rather go out for dinner with her right then. They leave together.

A montage of various characters begins. Annie looks sadly at the empty space for the bulletin board. Hicky sulks and looks at his own bulletin board on which there are several documents including a parking ticket, a restraining order, and a newspaper clipping about him being a disgraced cop. Waite tries to access a porn site and is frustrated by its still being blocked. The IT lady researches buying a bike as a solution to her poor parking dilemma. Abed and Rachel eat popcorn and watch television together. Hicky removes all documents from his bulletin board and heads to the dance. He puts it up and drills it to the board. Annie looks on in admiration and when the Dean brings security in to reprimand him, Annie attacks them. The Dean decides against pushing forward with disciplinary action and Hicky thanks Annie for defending him. The dance continues with Chang teaching a Fat Dog dance that he insist isn't made up. One student accidentally knocks the dog ears off one of the decorations and screams that it's a Bear Dance.

In the final scene, we see Professor Duncan runs out of staples and attempts to call a hotline for more. He accidentally initiates Arcadia before getting flustered and hanging up. He hears jet planes fly overhead before finding more staples on his desk.

Jeff is teaching a class on the Fundamentals of Law and struggles with not actually knowing the ins and outs of law, as well as being pestered by various students who take issue with his attitude that resembles a student more than a teacher. He meets Buzz Hickey, the Criminology Professor, who has been teaching at Greendale for 15 years.

Abed finds a course entitled, "Nicholas Cage: Good or Bad," and is thrilled to enrol in it. Jeff and Annie argue over Jeff's attitude towards teaching and Dean Pelton eagerly tell the group that he has begun learning to use Excel. Hicky shows Jeff the teacher's lounge and Jeff learns that nearly all of Greendale's professors do not take teaching seriously. Abed begins obsessing over Nicolas Cage and trying to determine whether he is indeed a good or bad actor. This culminates in his having a nervous breakdown in class, during which he performs a medley of wild moments from Cage's various performances. Later, he bonds with Shelly after learning that like him, she enjoys the Hellraiser films.

Annie eventually enrols in Jeff's class to try to keep him on track. Hicky recommends that Jeff give her "A-"s and that it will drive her crazy till she drops his class. He also states that teachers do not have to explain their grades and that the "minus" is merely a way of getting back at students they dislike. An argument between Jeff and Annie during his class leads her to storm out and the class becomes impressed by his having won an argument against Annie. This seg-ways into an opportunity for him to teach his students and actually enjoy it. After class, she reveals that Hicky gave her an A- on a recent assignment, which she claims was the true reason for her storming out.

When Jeff confronts Hicky about Annie's "A-," Hicky states that he did it to get Annie off Jeff's back. She tells Annie that her project was an "A," and she becomes upset that Jeff used his connections as a teacher. When he tells her about the minuses being meaningless, she is further angered and with Britta and Troy, rallies the other students into rioting. Jeff attempts to deliver one of his signature speeches to change the tide, but the students remain unswayed. Eventually, Jeff begins a student-teacher "Save Greendale" alliance that the members of the study group and Professor Hicky all join.

(April 1, 2013) – Walter White’s transformation from high school chemistry teacher to full-blown, ruthless drug lord continues on Sony Pictures Television’s critically acclaimed drama series on AMC, BREAKING BAD: THE FIFTH SEASON, available on Blu-ray^™ and DVD June 4^th or available now for Digital Download from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment (SPHE).  The highly anticipated fifth season reunites Bryan Cranston, three-time Best Actor Emmy^® winner and winner of this year’s Best Male Screen Actors Guild^® Award, with two-time Emmy Winner Aaron Paul (Best Supporting Role).  The Fifth Season Blu-ray and DVD feature an eight-minute, uncensored bonus scene, “Chicks ‘N’ Guns,” written and produced exclusively for the home entertainment release.  Starring Aaron Paul, Bob Odenkirk (TV’s “How I Met Your Mother”), and Charles Baker (Splinter), the scene tells the pivotal back story to episode 508 in the fifth season, “Gliding Over All.”

BREAKING BAD: THE FIFTH SEASON comes as a three-disc Blu-ray and four-disc DVD set, including cast and crew commentary on every episode, deleted scenes, outtakes, audition and rehearsal footage, and all-new featurettes. 

BREAKING BAD also stars Anna Gunn (TV’s “Deadwood”), Dean Norris (“TV’s “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation”), Betsy Brandt (Magic Mike), RJ Mitte, Bob Odenkirk, and Jonathan Banks (Identity Thief).  It was created by writer/director/producer Vince Gilligan (TV’s “The X-Files”), who also served as executive producer with Academy Award^® winner Mark Johnson (Rain Man, 1988’s Best Picture) and Michelle MacLaren (TV’s “The X-Files”). SynopsisUneasy lies the head that wears the crown.
