It's OFFICIAL! - Daniel Radcliffe (“HORNS,” “KILL YOUR DARLINGS,” “HARRY POTTER FILMS,”), Lizzy Caplan (Showtime's "MASTERS OF SEX," the upcoming "THE INTERVIEW") and Jay Chou (Taiwanese mega-star) will star in Lionsgate's NOW YOU SEE ME 2.
  • DANIEL RADCLIFFE (“HORNS,” “KILL YOUR DARLINGS,” “HARRY POTTER FILMS”) will play WALTER in Lionsgate's NOW YOU SEE ME 2.  Radcliffe is repped by UTA and ARG in the UK and attorney Fred Toczek. 
  • LIZZY CAPLAN (Showtime's "MASTERS OF SEX," the upcoming "THE INTERVIEW") will play LULA in Lionsgate's NOW YOU SEE ME 2.  Caplan is repped by WME, Mosaic and Jackoway, Tyerman, Werthheimer, Austen, Mandelbaum & Morris.  
  • JAY CHOU (Taiwanese mega-star) will play LI in Lionsgate's NOW YOU SEE ME 2.  Chou is repped by JVR Music.
  • The ensemble cast includes JESSE EISENBERG, MARK RUFFALO, MORGAN FREEMAN, WOODY HARRELSON, MICHAEL CAINE and DAVE FRANCO. 
  • One year after outwitting the FBI and winning the public’s adulation with their mind-bending spectacles, the Four Horsemen resurface in NOW YOU SEE ME 2 only to find themselves face to face with a new enemy who enlists them to pull off their most dangerous heist yet. 
  • NOW YOU SEE ME 2 will be directed by Jon M. Chu (GI JOE: RETALIATION) from a script by Pete Chiarelli and Ed Solomon. Producers are Bobby Cohen, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci. 
  • Erik Feig, Co-President of the Motion Picture Group, along with Geoff Shaevitz, President of Production, will oversee the project for Lionsgate.

CULVER CITY, Calif. (Oct. 2, 2014– Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Zoe Kazan (Ruby Sparks) and Adam Driver (“Girls”) star in CBS Films’ WHAT IF, coming to Blu-ray™, DVD and Digital HD on Nov. 25 from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. In this modern comedy about romance, friendship and everything in between, WHAT IF tells the story about Wallace (Radcliffe) and Chantry (Kazan), a pair of 20-somethings, trying to figure out what they mean to each other and what they might become.

Bonus features include the “Blurred Lines” vignette, in which the cast and filmmakers explore the film’s themes and talk about their experience shooting this modern love story.  Also included is the “Opposites Attract” vignette, letting fans hear from the cast and crew on the dynamics between Chantry and Wallace, as well as their hilarious friends.  Exclusively available on Blu-ray are deleted scenes and two additional vignettes: “A Modern Love Story” introduces viewers to the entire cast, and “Behind the Scenes of What If” features cast and filmmakers in an 18-minute in-depth discussion on the film’s production.

Directed by Michael Dowse (Goon) from the highly sought after script by Elan Mastai (The Samaritan), WHAT IF boasts an ensemble cast of hip up-and-coming talent, including Megan Park (The Secret Life of the American Teenager), Mackenzie Davis (That Awkward Moment), Oona Chaplin (Game of Thrones) and Rafe Spall (Prometheus).


Elan Mastai’s screenplay is based on the stage play Toothpaste and Cigars by T.J. Dawe & Michael Rinaldi. David Gross of No Trace Camping (Goon) produces with Macdara Kelleher of Fastnet Films and AndrĂ© Rouleau of Caramel Films. Jesse Shapira, Jeff Arkuss, Hartley Gorenstein, Michael Dowse, Patrice Theroux, Bryan Gliserman, Mark Costa, Ford Oelman and Marc Stephenson are executive producers.


Synopsis:
WHAT IF is the story of medical school dropout Wallace (Daniel Radcliffe), who’s been repeatedly burned, by bad relationships.  So while everyone around him, including his friend Allan (Adam Driver), seems to be finding the perfect partner (Mackenzie Davis), Wallace decides to put his love life on hold.  It is then that he meets Chantry (Zoe Kazan), an animator who lives with her longtime boyfriend Ben (Rafe Spall).  

Wallace and Chantry form an instant connection, striking up a close friendship.  Still, there is no denying the chemistry between them, leading the pair to wonder, “what if” the love of your life is actually your best friend?  The ensemble romantic comedy co-stars Megan Park and Oona Chaplin.

Alexandre Aja ("Horns" Director) SDCC Interview


Based on Joe Hill's novel of the same name, Horns is a dark fantasy thriller film starring Daniel Radcliffe as Ig Perrish. After Ig is accused of raping and murdering his girlfriend, he wakes with two horns protruding from his head that give the supernatural ability to compel people to reveal their deepest secrets. The film also stars Juno Temple as Merrin Williams, Ig's late girlfriend. Daniel Radcliffe, author Joe Hill, and director Alexandre Aja were all present for a Friday panel in Hall H at SDCC 2014. This marked Daniel Radcliffe's first appearance at the con.

The following interview is with director Alexandre Aja, who is also famous for directing other horror films such as "The Hills Have Eyes," "Mirrors," and "Piranha 3D." Aja discussed why he wanted to adapt the book into a film, the blending of genres in the story and the subtext within it, the consulting done with author Joe Hill, what it was like to work with Daniel Radcliffe, the issue of violence in film, researching Christian mythology, his perceptions of human nature, the use of snakes and the corresponding difficulties of using live animals in a film, and his thoughts on Comic Con.



Horns will be released in theatres on 31 October 2014.

Synopsis:

Synopsis:  Arthur Kipps (Radcliffe), a widowed lawyer whose grief has put his career in jeopardy, is sent to a remote village to sort out the affairs of a recently deceased eccentric. But upon his arrival, it soon becomes clear that everyone in the town is keeping a deadly secret. Although the townspeople try to keep Kipps from learning their tragic history, he soon discovers that the house belonging to his client is haunted by the ghost of a woman who is determined to find someone and something she lost… and no one, not even the children, are safe from her vengeance.
