Misfits S5E3 - "Episode Three" Recap

Abbey has begun a relationship with Laura and the rest of the group learns about this when they crash in to her flat and find her performing oral sex on her. Greg the probation worker has begun behaving strangely towards Finn after seeing him having sex with Alex in the previous episode and believes Finn to be gay.

Laura's (ex-)boyfriend comes across Abbey and Laura and is none too pleased about being dumped. Abbey attacks him when he tries to get grabby with Laura and Laura has to pull Abbey off of him. When Abbey spots a teddy bear in Laura's room, she begins having memory flashes. When she talks to Laura about them and the memory of a bogeyman named "Scary," they realise that Abbey is actually Laura's childhood imaginary friend brought to life by the storm.

Rudy Two invites Abbey to come to the support group following the rest of the group's learning of her origins. Greg continues to hit on Finn, who later tells the others that he's worried Greg now fancies him. Abbey tries to speak with Laura, but she has gotten back with her semi-violent ex-boyfriend. Greg begins literally pursuing Finn, saying he is "so full of love." Finn is cornered and accidentally uses his telekinesis which pushes Greg over the railing. Rudy and Alex come in and help him prepare to bury the body but after digging the hole and tossing him in, they find that he is actually still alive.

Jess calls the lads when they're trying to figure out how to proceed to let them knows that Abbey has attempted to commit suicide by taking several pills. Jess sticks her fingers down her throat to make her throw up the pills. Meanwhile, Finn, Rudy, and Alex decide to put Greg in his car and make himself believe he was drinking and driving. Jess is furious when it also results in his crashing into her car.

Unfortunately for Laura, the talk of Scary with Abbey has somehow brought him to life. She visits to Abbey to apologise and they reminisce over childhood memories. Scary shows up and attacks them, after having spent time throughout the episode stalking Laura. After a bit of a chase, Abbey is able to kill Scary and save Laura. They part on good terms and Abbey now feels more confident in secure knowing where she came from.

At the support group, Rudy Two had previously encouraged Sam to stand up to those bullying him. Later, we see him save Rudy Two from a mugging by swooping down, scooping him up, and flying him off to safety.
