Bitten Season 2 to premiere in 2015

It ain't over between the Mutts and the Pack! Time to breathe a sigh of relief. Our favorite eye candy werewolf show is coming back! It was announced today that a 10-episode second season of Bitten will begin shooting this summer in Toronto, Hamilton, and the small Ontario community of Hespeler (aka Bear Valley), the press release is below. Considering Bitten is Space's #1 original series of all time—so far, the show has reached nearly 5 million viewers—this news should make a lot of fans very happy, including those who expressed their support via the #RenewBitten hashtag on Twitter, which generated almost 30,000 mentions.
Season two will once again star Laura Vandervoort as Elena, the world's only female werewolf; Grek Bryk as Jeremy Danvers, the Pack alpha; and Greyston Holt as Clay Danvers, Elena's on-again-off-again werewolf BF. Steve Lund and Michael Xavier will also be returning as Nick and Logan, respectively. And they'll have a lot to contend with in season two: Jeremy's not-so-dead-after-all father Malcolm has vowed he's not done with the Pack, Logan's family life is under serious threat, and Elena will have to deal with the horrific fallout from her relationship with Philip.
Although author, Kelley Armstrong, will not be associated with season 2 of the show based on her characters, her facebook page did say that season 2 will be based on the second book of the series Stolen, meaning we'll be introduced to some non-werewolf supernatural characters.
