BAD BLOOD (TV-MA-L-S-V)
Elena and the Pack are on the hunt for Malcolm Danvers. Back at Stonehaven,
Jeremy gets an ultimatum from the Council of International Alphas - kill Malcolm or relinquish leadership over North America.
SCARE TACTICS (TV-14-L-S-V)
While the Pack interrogates Malcolm, Clay investigates a mysterious symbol that may be related to witchcraft.
When both inquiries lead to the same destination, the Pack is faced with a disturbing truth - witches live among us.
Four years ago, a spell is
cast over Charlie by Clara. She's cursed him with a heart attack.
Ruth and Bridgette arrive, and they're there to put a stop to Clara.
They seize her. She begs them for mercy. She needed the money, but
she's willing to turn over a new leaf, to stop the black magic. Her
pleas fall on deaf ears. They remove her earring, her talisman, and
Ruth crushes it. Clara threatens that they will pay. Clara listens
to a charismatic man, Aleister, as he talks of blood. He's doing a
little street show, talking about blood, and the people eat up his
words and give him money. Clara calls to him, Timothy. He asks how
she knows who he is, and she tells him that she's the reason that
he's alive. She knows what he is too, the prophecy.
Now, in the little shack
in the woods. Aleister inhabiting Clay's body wraps up his body, its
in a protective circle. Jeremy and Nick come looking for him, and
“Clay” knocks his head on the cabin door before emerging. He
tells them that he was attacked, and that Eduardo got away. Jeremy
looks over his head wound, and they head back to the house.
Ruth sees Clay's injury,
and asks if Savannah did that as well, she didn't. Paige is unsure
what Savannah will do next. They plan to head home soon and finish
Savannah's ritual, so that she can focus her powers so that she won't
be harmful anymore. “Clay” suggests that they do the ritual here
rather than go all the way home, which is so not like Clay. Paige
agrees, but Ruth doesn't want to impose. “Clay” all but insists,
and Ruth can have it done before nightfall.
Clay awakens trapped in
his own mind. He's in his room, but its all different. There's
banging, he calls for Elena, Jeremy, but no one answers. He's locked
in his head. Aleister tells him that werewolves are full of
surprises. He knows he's in Stonehaven, but Aleister tells him its
the Stonehaven of his mind. A great woman taught his this spell. He's
taken possession of his body. The surprising part is that his
consciousness is still there, it should be long dead. He must be a
fighter, but Clay hasn't even begun to fight. Aleister taunts him.
Clay knows that Elena will know that he isn't him, but Aleister
thinks he can fool her long enough to break her heart. Clay has faith
in his girl, she's gonna rip him apart. Aleister points out that if
she does that he'll be the one to die. He'd only occupying the body
temporarily, once Savannah has he talisman he's going to take her and
finish their business. Clay lunges at him, and hits an empty wall. He
hears Elena ask if Savannah is almost packed.
Elena is getting Savannah
ready to leave. Savannah is still shook up about killing that man.
Elena tells her that she's not judging her. Elena notices that
Savannah has packed really lightly. Savannah has little she values.
She suppose to be collecting things that will help her through her
witchy ritual, but she's gathered few items yet. Elena gives her a
photograph, from her photographer days to remind her that they're
more than wolves and witches. Clay comes in, telling the girls that
Paige has some good news.
Ruth, Paige and Savannah
gather in the library. Candles lit, Ruth begins the initiation. She
anoints Savannah and it begins. Savannah draws a card and the
fireplace roars up. She will initiate through fire as her catalytic.
She chooses another, Black rat. She thinks that she hears them in the
walls. Paige tells her that its just an echo of the card. Savannah is
terrified of rats. Paige insists that they are clever, alert,
intuitive. Savannah wants to choose another, but Ruth will not allow
her. Savannah wants Elena with her, but Paige refuses. Savannah
insists just for the first part. Ruth tells her she can be there for
the first part, but she must complete it on her own.
Elena tells Clay that
Savannah needs an altravessel with her, but she has nothing there. He
doesn't understand why she wants any part of this ritual. Elena just
wants to help. She asks to borrow a box from his desk, but he takes
it from her. It's too fragile to be out in the woods. Elena thinks he
must have something. She notices the survey maps on his desks, asks
if he's building them a little cottage in the woods. Right now he's
worried about her, he says. He says that Savannah is dangerous until
she has her talisman, and she should steer clear. Savannah means a
lot to Elena though. Clay rubs her shoulder and Elena looks at his
hand. He kisses her. She goes off to look for a vessel for Savannah
sure Jeremy has something.
Paige sharpens a stake
downstairs. Nick offers to help, offers a match. Paige tells him a
match isn't enough, they need four of the nine sacred woods, which
aren't hard to find. She has oak, ash, birch and elder. Paige lights
the flame. Nick tells her that wolves have tools too, and then he
starts kissing her neck. Something about her, he just can't keep his
hands off her. Paige tells her that they have no time for this, but
Nick wants her to make time. She lights a lantern, and tries to
resist him, but it doesn't work. She grabs his face, insisting that
it is the last time. Nick isn't arguing. He lets her strip him down,
and he strips her, and then he pins her against the cage, as they
have sex for the last time.
Ruth knows it seems
strange, but the last component of the ritual needs to be done alone,
she insists. Nick and Paige come out with supplies. They built the
structure in the wrong spot, Jeremy wanted it closer to the house.
Clay insists that its better out where it is. Ruth is indifferent,
willing to move it where ever. Nick tells her its no problem, he'll
move it himself. Clay gets hostile, smelling the sex on Nick and
Paige. He tells Nick that she's nothing more than a little witch
whore. Nick tells him to apologize, instead Clay starts a fight. Ruth
yells at them to stop, but they don't and Nick isn't getting his
.butt handed to him. If that isn't a clue that that's not Clay I'm
not sure what is. Paige finally steps in to break up the fight.
Clay looks over his plans
in the office when Elena bursts in, unhappy over the fight he had
with Nick. Clay tells her that its the witches, they're tearing them
apart and he won't let that happen. Elena knows that he's not
himself. He tells her she's right, then he grabs her, kissing her
roughly, he throws her on his desk. Elena pushes at him, he's clearly
out of his mind. Where's the southern manners? She punches him good,
and walks out.
In his mind Clay sees a
little boy downstairs. He heads down after him. He tells them that
they're all there trapped.
Clay packs his bags.
Jeremy comes in, equally mad. He counts on Clay to help him keep the
pack together, not tear it apart. He asks what happened between him
and Nick. Clay says that it was a misunderstanding about the witches,
it was a mistake to let them stay. They'll be gone soon, then things
can go back to normal. Clay insists that Elena's feelings for
Savannah are a problem, she wants to protect the girl, she's
obsessed. Jeremy is sure that Elena can put the pack first. Clay
tells him that there are things about Elena, at the compound that he
doesn't know.
Elena compliments Savannah
on her dress. It's a gift from Paige. Elena knows that Ruth and Paige
care a lot about Savannah. Paige tells her that she looks great.
Savannah asks if they think she's ready, they do, and there's not
much time left. She goes to get her things. Elena stops Paige to ask
if its normal that Savannah is so out of control with her magic.
Paige doesn't answer straight. Magic is a powerful thing, and right
now Savannah is like a grenade with the pin pulled. Elena wants to
know how out of control it can get, if it can change other people.
That raises Paige's suspicion.
Clay tells Jeremy that at
the compound Elena was forced to change in front of other people.
Jeremy acknowledges that violation, but she never has to see those
people again, and they won't remember seeing her. One will, Rachel.
Elena never told him about Rachel. Clay isn't sure why she would keep
it a secret if it weren't troubling her. He thinks that she's using
her relationship with Savannah to justify the good of what happened
there. Jeremy asks if he feels that the more time she spends with the
girl, the harder it will to deal with everything. The ceremony only
deepens their bond. Jeremy insists that he will deal with it. Clay
gets back to packing.
Elena tells Paige that
there is something different with Clay. He's angry and harsh with
her. Aleister messed with her mind in the compound, maybe he taught
that to Savannah. Paige asks if she thinks Clay is under some sort of
spell. It seems different than what Aleister did to her. Paige
brushes it off, thinking that know that Elena knows about magic she's
trying to use it to explain away the odd. Wow, Paige is a bitch, and
I sincerely hope that the series doesn't follow her next season as
the books do. She tells her that there's a more simple explanation,
he loves her, and that if there is something wrong with Clay she
should talk to him.
Elena looks though all the
notes and books that she has. Clay prepares a warehouse, probably for
something horrible. She reads over her notes, seeing that Malcolm is
there, even though Clay knows that he's dead. They burned his body.
Clay walks past him and the boy, young Clay to the door. Malcolm
tells him that he may not be real, but he still lives inside of him,
just as the boy does. Malcolm tells him to stop. He can't fight
strong anymore, he needs to fight smart. All these years of fighting
and he's back to square one. Clay knows he needs to get control of
his body, or he'll die.
Elena takes more notes.
Jeremy comes and tells him that they need to talk. Elena tells him
that she didn't know how to tell him, but its Clay. She found stuff
in the book Clay brought back from Baton Rouge, a dark witch can
enter someone's body and control him. Jeremy isn't sure he believes
her. He tells her that Clay told him what she was forced to do at the
compound. Elena looks confused. He clarifies that she was forced to
change in front of others, in front of Rachel. Elena never told Clay
about that. Now Jeremy is confused. The only people that knew about
Elena's change was her and Rachel, and Aleister. Jeremy assures her
that Paige and Nick burned the body, but Elena insists that Clay is
not himself. He asks where Clay is, and she's not sure. She asks
where he was when this all started. Jeremy found him near one of the
storage sheds on the edge of the property. Elena and Jeremy rush out
to it.
Ruth tells Savannah that
now is the time. Elena said that she would be there, and they've
waited for too long already. Ruth assures her that Elena had to have
a reason, and that Savannah only needs to remember who she is for it
to work. Ruth and Paige continue with the ceremony. Paige takes a
rat's body, places it inside her ceremonial bucket and it turns into
a pendant. Savannah has been through a lot, she's stronger than she
knows. She places the pendant around her neck, and heads into her
little witch tent.
Jeremy and Elena rush out
to the storage shed. Inside they find no body, but the chalk devil's
penis is still there. Elena was right. If Aleister is there, and he's
taken over Clay's body, they know what's next. Elena and Jeremy rush
off to Savannah.
Savannah sits in the woods
waiting. A rat joins her, and she musters up the courage to pick it
up. She says a spell over it, and holding it to her chest, wind rips
through her hair. Jeremy and Elena rush towards her. Savannah has
completed her initiation. She calls to Ruth and Paige, but neither of
them answer her. A man comes though. Elena and Jeremy arrive too
late.
In his study, Jeremy
tells Ruth the bad news. She doesn't understand who would do this.
Jeremy tells her that Aleister is still alive, and he's possessed
Clay to take Savannah. Ruth knows that they need to find Aleister's
body. He's going to try to kill Clay in a dark circle. If they can
kill Clay's body outside of the circle, Aleister's soul will be
trapped and will die. Jeremy isn't sure how they can hurt the body
and not Clay. Ruth tells him that there is no way. It's a dark magic,
and the person possessed never survives.
She tells him that the man he loves is already gone, no one can bring
him back. Jeremy wants his son back. Ruth cannot image the hell that
he's going to go through.
Clay
stuffs Savannah in the trunk of the car, along with his body.
Savannah screams for him to release her, as he hands her talisman
from the rearview mirror. He drives off in another car.
Elena
comes to check on Jeremy. Nick checked Clay's room, and found survey
maps, one is missing a corner. Jeremy assumes that is where he's
going to make his dark circle. Elena asks if Ruth told him how to get
Clay back. He just tells her that they have to find him fast.
Clay
walks through the halls of his mind. He sees the basement. Malcolm
thinks that he is afraid of what he will find. Clay knows that in
dreams descending means death. Little Clay tells him not to go, but
Malcolm encourages him to. Go down, face the dark, let it set you
free.
Jeremy,
Nick and Elena head towards where Clay should be. His scent is faint.
They want to know how to reverse the spell, but Jeremy doesn't tell
them, he only wants them to let him complete it. Elena knows he's
hiding something. Jeremy finally admits what Ruth said. There is no
coming back from possession. Clay is gone. Elena doesn't believe her.
Jeremy tells her that if there was any other option they would take
it. Elena refuses this option. Jeremy tells them that they have to
kill Clay now to kill Aleister. Nick thinks that they should kill
Aleister's body, but Jeremy tells them that that won't work. Elena
thinks that its a better option to trap Aleister in Clay's body, and
lock Clay in the cage until he fights through it. Jeremy doesn't want
her waiting forever for nothing. He will do it alone. Nick refuses to
let him do that. Aleister killed his brother, and he will help kill
him. They have to kill him outside of the circle, and that is the
only way. Elena isn't sure she can do this. Nick tells her to just
stick with him, and she won't have to.
Ruth
burns Savannah's name, saying a spell to protect her. They use the
little marble of doom to locate her. Paige fears that she won't be
with her talisman, but Ruth is sure that they can use the talisman to
find her.
Jeremy
finds “Clay” ascending to the noose. Jeremy knocks him off,
Aleister took his son, and now he's going to make him pay. Aleister
is sure that one of them will die, but it won't be him . The pair
spare.
Clay
in his mind reaches the basement where a wolf growls in the cage.
In
the warehouse Jeremy and Aleister continue to fight.
In
his mind, Clay's wolf tries to break free of his cage.
Aleister
throws Jeremy to the ground. With Jeremy down, Aleister runs and
leaps into the noose. Jeremy rises and releases the rope, dropping
Aleister in Clay's body. Aleister is out of his circle, but he
doesn't think Jeremy will kill him.
Clay
opens the cage to the wolf.
Nick
and Elena arrive as Jeremy prepares to stab Clay with a pipe, it hits
his side. Clay's body begins to shift. Elena begs Jeremy not to kill
Clay, Aleister wasn't able to control them in their wolf form. Jeremy
worries, if Aleister gets into Clay's wolf form he'll kill them all.
Clay changes, and its Clay, not Aleister.
Aleister
wakes up back in his own body in the car with Savannah still in the
trunk. He takes her talisman and gets out.
Elena
thought that she lost Clay. He was there the whole time fighting him.
He could hear her the whole time. They have to find Aleister now.
Aleister
gets Savannah out of the trunk. She thought that he was dead. Now
that she has her talisman she can focus her powers. She knows that he
wants to kill them all though. She tries to get away from him, but he
does, the I am the lock, I am the key thing, and just like that
Savannah is under his control. He gives her Elena's blood and tells
her to drink and she does. The spell ripples out of Savannah, hitting
the witches. Paige and Ruth both feel it. Ruth bleeds from her nose,
it's the beginning of the end.
One
week ago in Massachusetts Paige tells Savannah she can have one hour
of television when she gets her homework done. She's being generous
considering the girl suppose to be grounded. Savannah points out that
she isn't the boss, but Paige thinks that she is. Paige goes to grab
her keys, but they skitter out of reach. Savannah claims that she
didn't do it, but Paige asks her again anyways. The ceiling shakes,
and a man appears across from Savannah at the table, he tells her
there's no need to be afraid. Hmmm, that's not comforting. Savannah
calls to Paige, but she doesn't hear her, she appears frozen. The man
tells her that she will be fine, and introduces himself as Aleister.
The
ceiling cracking and Aleister is doing the crazy Ring move, as Paige
shouts to Savannah, but she doesn't hear her, or see what's really
happening.
Savannah
doesn't remember anyone by the name of Aleister. He points out that
the coven keeps her in the dark about a lot of things. They aren't
family, they don't care, but he does. He tells her that she's the
most powerful witch of all. She doesn't have her powers yet, but she
will. He eats a piece of candy, and offers her one, and she actually
takes the candy from the strange man. Didn't her mother teach her
anything?! The weird candy goes in her mouth and slithers under her
skin. He says “I am the Lock,” and she replies with “ I am the
Key.”
The
house continues to be rocked apart, as Aleister
shakes in and out of this reality. There's a blinding light, and
Paige is nearly pulled forward as Aleister and Savannah disappear.
Well, atleast the house stopped shaking, and ceiling repaired itself.
Paige looks around, but Savannah is totally gone.
The
cell door to Malcolm's cage is open. Elena runs through the woods,
with the men hot on her trail. Malcolm is long gone. They make it to
the road, but Malcolm is gone. The witches have no clue what they've
unleashed. The Alpha council want Malcolm, and Nick isn't going to
just let him go. He takes off back into the woods, and Logan goes
with him.
Elena,
Clay and Jeremy regroup back at the house. With Malcolm gone, they
have no bargaining chips with the Alpha Council, no way to protect
Jeremy's seat. It's not about Malcolm anymore. With Sanchez dead in
the war room, it could be seen as a declaration of war. They need to
dispose of the body, and hide the fact that Malcolm was ever there.
Ruth's ring, hidden in the walnuts starts to move on its own. It
skitters across the table onto the floor. Jeremy follows the ring.
Elena plans to head after Malcolm. They know where the witches are,
they left their card.
Jeremy
catches the ring, and allows it to lead him towards the door. He
hears the whispering and tells them to show themselves. It's Ruth and
Paige of course, but they don't have Malcolm with them. Jeremy tells
them that he wants Malcolm back, but Paige isn't giving him
anything. He plans to hold the ring hostage, which he assumes is
important since they came back for it. Paige uses her powers to push
Jeremy back, and he commands them to stop. Paige leviatates him, and
Ruth tells her to release him. Paige points out that she's only
fighting fire with fire, and forces him to release the ring. Ruth
places the ring back on her finger, and all the doors and windows
close in the house. Clay and Elena rush into the room as Ruth
apologizes for the rude treatment. Jeremy threatens to rip out their
throat if they ever do something like that again. Paige and Ruth look
in astonishment at the female werewolf. They heard of her existence,
but treat her like a carnival attraction. Paige thinks she's just as
barbaric as the rest of them. Since Jeremy refused to hand over
Malcolm, they took him, like any witch would. Nick and Logan return,
but Paige cautions them back. Ruth confesses that Aleister wants
Malcolm in exchange for Savannah, which Savannah herself told them.
They're willing to help them find Savannah, but they want Malcolm
back. Ruth is willing to play. They will use Malcolm as bait to get
Savannah. Nick and Logan will go with the witches now, and the rest
will follow. Nick asks after Malcolm, wondering where he's stashed,
but punchy Paige remains mum. She won't let him near Malcolm until
the trade is made.
Malcolm
is riding with a woman. She pulls over when she gets a call. He's
surprised that she would pick up a hitchhiker, but she likes the
company. He notices her marble, and it follows his moving hand. He
makes a grab for the woman's throat, but she uses her powers to press
him against the window. All she wanted was a small meaningful
exchange.
Elena wonders if they're walking into a trap. Clay isn't sure that he
witches are trust worthy, but they don't have much choice. They also
have company. The trio head out front to see who it is, a couple of
wolves from the Spanish pack have come looking for their alpha.
Jeremy allows them in. He tells them that Sanchez was there for the council
meeting, but that he isn't there anymore. If he said he was coming
back, he lied. A lie may have been told, but Eduardo has yet to
determine who is the liar. Clay bristles at him practically calling
Jeremy a liar, but Jeremy is quick to calm his hulk. He understands
Eduardo's concerns. Eduardo just wants to find his alpha. Jeremy asks
for a moment, and Clay and Elena give them some privacy. Eduardo
thinks that his alpha may have become one of the many tragedies that
Stonehaven has seen recently. Jeremy offers to let him make that
accusation if front of the Alpha Council when they reconvene, but
warns that they frown on false accusations.
Clay and Elena get to work disposing of Sanchez's body. Luckily that place
has a hidden tunnel system, and an endless supply of bleach. Clay
does the heavy lifting, and Elena the pouring. With the body gone,
Clay helps with the scrubbing.
Eduardo tells him that every man has his skeletons, and he has his father. He
asks Jeremy to show him around. Jeremy doesn't have to do anything,
but Eduardo takes a more pleading tone. He just wants to look around
so that he can go back home. Jeremy takes him through the house,
explaining that they did recently see a lot of carnage, that Elena
was nearly killed, but they protected their home. He comes face to
face with Elena and Clay, who just finished cleaning up. He notes the
strong bleach smell. Elena admits that there was a lot of blood, but
they take great pride in their home and their legacy. He declares
that he's seen all that he needs to see. Jeremy praises his loyalty,
and hopes that he finds him. Clay needs to finish things now.
Clay and Elena prepare to burn the body. They need to dispose of Sanchez,
and makes sure that it doesn't come back on Jeremy. Elena is upset
that its not Malcolm's body joining him. They should have killed
Malcolm when they had the chance. Oh should of, would of, could of.
Clay has no time for that nonsense.
The witch tells Malcolm to stop struggling. He's only going to hurt
himself trying to get out of her binding spell. He asks if she's the
creature that attacked him in Rochester. She isn't, but she plans to
give him to him. The witch likes the specimen in front of her, he's a
fine one. Malcolm offers to let his assistance, but she doesn't' need
him for anything except bait.
Savannah watches a top spin, a woman talks to the walls. Aleister tells her
not to mind the woman, she's not feeling well. She asks if she was
the one screaming, but she wasn't. It was the pregnant woman. He asks
if her room is to her liking, but its a cage, worse than what she had
with Paige. Aleister tells her its for her own safety. He offers to
teach her a new power, something her coven would never allow her to
learn. Instead, Savannah asks about a dream she had. She dreamt of a
barn, with a werewolf inside. When Aleister saw Malcolm he seemed very
happy. Aleister finds her vision intriguing, wishing that they knew
where the barn was. Savannah wrote down what she remembered of its
location. Aleister asks her if there is anything else, and she
hesitates, saying no. Her skin crawls, and he does the whole I am the
lock, which she answers I am the key before telling him not to go
alone, that Malcolm isn't alone. Aleister sends the top spinning
more, and Savannah stands smiling.
Clay clips off Sacnhez's fingertips. The blood becomes too much as his
thoughts turn to his mother, and her death. Elena knows that the
blood is stirring up bad memories for Clay. Clay confesses that his
parents didn't abandon him, that Malcolm killed his mother, and his
father took his own life in his grief. Malcolm taught him to fight,
and they let him slip away. When this business with the witches is
complete he plans on making Malcolm pay.
Nick wonders what they're getting into with the witches. Logan presses
forward. In the barn, Paige admits to her mother that she has a bad
feeling about all of this. Ruth thinks that this is the only way
they'll ever get Savannah back. No one feels more guilty than Paige,
she was there when Aleister actually took her, she failed to protect
Savannah. Ruth refuses to let Aleister steal away their future, they
will get Savannah back. Paige agrees, and goes through the process of
channeling Savannah. A white eyed Paige speaks as Savannah. She tells
Ruth that she gave Aleister the information as instructed, and that
she didn't reveal they could talk through channeling. Nick and Logan
watch the whole witchy skype call. Logan tries to get Nick to focus,
as Ruth promises to bring her home today. Savannah tells them that
its quiet now, that the pregnant woman from Rochester has stopped
screaming. Hearing about Rachel, Logan presses Paige for more,
grabbing her. Paige falls out of her channel and into a seizure. Ruth
struggles to pull Paige out. Nick tells Ruth that the woman is
Logan's girlfriend and she's pregnant. Just because Aleister has
Rachel doesn't mean that they will alter the plans, but atleast they
know she's alive.
Clay and Elena burn Sanchez's things. Elena kisses Clay. For his mother,
for Phillip, for everything that he's done, Malcolm will die today
she vows.
Jeremy goes over the plan with Ruth. She thinks that they can hold Malcolm
with their spells, but Jeremy wants to put his wolves around just in
case they need some man power. Ruth agrees to it, but knows that
magic will be enough. She confesses that they don't like to harm, or
torture, but they also don't like their girls taken.
Nick and Paige do a walk around. Nick doesn't like the locations, 2 ways
in and out. Paige is more confident. She spells a weather vane to let
the know when Aleister is nearby. Clay mentioned that the followers
seem immune to pain, but its not a spell that she's familiar with.
Jeremy goes over logistics with Logan. He and Clay will deal with any
followers that come with Aleister. Jeremy is glad that Rachel is
alive. They'll deal with him, with Malcolm and then find Rachel and
bring her home. The witch convoy carrying Malcolm arrives, and he's
not his normal cocky self. Whatever Jeremy has against him, he asks
that he let him go and not turn him over to this thing, in hopes that
they can all survive together. Jeremy tells him that he's worth more
to them alive at the moment.
Malcolm is placed out in the open, waiting for Aleister. Elena's patience is
running thin. It's been hours and nothing has happened. Jeremy tells
her to be patient, they need this plan to work. The wolves hide in
the grass. Paige's weather vane goes crazy, she peers through her
glass. Aleister is coming. Aleister walks nonchalantly through the
field, to approach Malcolm. He's been looking for Malcolm for a long
time. The witches surround Aleister. He asks if he's the most
powerful werewolf. Elena thinks that they should be on the move.
Malcolm seems utterly speechless, but there will be time to talk.
Ruth and Paige want Savannah back, but Aleister isn't done with her
yet. Aleister needs Malcolm released, and plans to kill the witch
holding him. With a flying piece of metal, he slices Bridgette's
side, releasing her binding spell. Malcolm takes off running, as Ruth
and Paige go to check out the damage to Bridgette. Elena and the
wolves run to the fray, but Aleister knocks them back with a ground
ripple. He's far more badass than any of them were expecting. It
disorients them all, knocking Logan out completely.
A pair of trucks roll in, full of followers. Elena is on her feet
first, headed to meet them with Clay, Jeremy and Nick close behind to
meet the followers head on. Clay sends Elena off after Malcolm, and
Nick heads to help Paige. Ruth meets Aleister face to face, but
smartly circles herself for protection. He won't reveal who or what
he is, only taunts that in time she will know him. She says that
they've never done anything to him, but he tells her that they have,
more than she knows. She won't see her girl again, but he thanks her
for bringing him the wolf that he needed.
Paige tries to help Bridgette, but she's bleeding too much. One of the
followers enters the barn, but Nick is there to protect the witches.
The follower is small but feisty, and knocks around the much larger
Nick. He knocks her back, and through a beam, but she gets up and is
ready for more. Paige calmly places her hand on her head and knocks
her out. Bridgette is dead.
Clay and Jeremy continue to fight their way through followers, body
slamming a few so that they can follow Elena. Elena is hot on
Malcolm's trail. It's not long before the she wolf catches up to him
and tackles him. Malcolm taunts Elena, daring her to take him on. If
she's ready to die, he's willing to kill her even if he did have high
hopes for her. Elena goes toe to toe with Malcolm, but he's far more
skilled than she is. He's got the same brute strength as her, and
he's unwilling to pull any punches. He beats her and chokes her, but
she's not done. She changes just her fingers, and stabs him in the
throat. It's her that gets to say goodbye to him. Malcolm bleeds out.
Aleister arrives, happily surprised. Malcolm wasn't the werewolf he
was looking for after all. Elena rises to charge Aleister, but he
makes them disappear in a flash. What no crazy candy needed?
Logan awakens, but the fighting is done, and the followers are defeated.
The clean up crew takes away the bodies. Logan jumps in the back and
hides among the dead.
Jeremy and Clay find Malcolm's body, but Elena is gone. Clay is about to go
ape shit.
Nick gets some grizzled shots of Malcolm's dead body before telling him to
rot in hell. Paige tends to her dead in a much more tender way,
sprinkling Bridgette's body with flowers and herbs. She places
Bridgette's necklace on her wrapped body. Nick comes to offer his
condolences. Paige knew this plan was a mistake, and Bridgette paid
the price. Nick is sure that she will have her revenge. Revenge is
not what she wants. She thought this would be all over and she would
have Savannah back. She never had a need for sisters because she had
Savannah and Bridgette and now they're both gone. Nick is sure that
they will get Savannah, Elena, Logan and Rachel back. Paige questions
how he can see the good in her, he doesn't even know her, but she
risked her life for her friend and that says a lot. It's a tender
moment, and obviously further setting them up to be a couple in the
future. Bleh, I don't ship this pairing. Paige asks to be left alone
so that she can finish, and Nick takes a few steps away, but stays to
watch. Paige finishes her ceremony, turning Bridgette's body into
floating ash.
Clay tries to get the follower that Paige knocked out to focus. The woman
continues to utter about keys and gates as Clay asks about the
location where Elena, Savannah and Logan are. Ruth has done all she
can to reverse the spell Aleister placed, but she's on some sort of
loop. The Key to the Gate is the great undoing. Clay gets handsy, but
Ruth cautions him against it. He could sent her further under the
spell. The woman goes for a knife and stabs herself. Ruth tries to
heal her, but its not use. Clay commands Ruth to get Paige to channel
Savannah and find out if Elena is there and what is happening to her.
If they don't recover Elena soon, Ruth is going to have more than a
missing witch to worry about. Ruth actually looks scared, and she
should be.
Elena lies strapped down to a table. She can't move under the heavy
restraints.
Is
it me or goes the witch symbol look like a devil's penis? I completely missed that last week, but as they show what's happened up until now, it's quite clear. The witches have invaded this season, and its still unclear it they're friend or foe.
Our
episode starts 20 years ago in Baton Rouge. Clay and his mother are
preparing for his father to return home from war. His mother reminds
him that no matter what, he will always be special to her, before she
sends him out to play. Clay runs into Malcolm. He says he's a really
hungry man. He tells Clay to run full speed, reasoning that it will
take him a while to go home. Clay is confused that he wants to chase
him. Malcolm tells the boy that he plans to eat him, taking pleasure
in his fear. Adrenaline makes the meat taste good. He scares the boy
into running, and run Clay does. He hides in some tree roots, too
deep for a wolf Malcolm to reach. Malcolm manages to snag Clay's leg,
but he can't pull the boy free. He leaves the bitten boy in search of
other prey.
Now,
Malcolm awakens in his cell with Logan standing guard. Above, Jeremy
wants Logan to get some sleep. Nick and Elena prepare lunch. Elena
wants Malcolm dead, but they can't kill him. With Rachel still
missing they have to assume she's alive. If Clay were there, he would
torture the information out of him, but Nick knows that won't work on
Malcolm. He enjoys the pain too much. Elena knows that everyone is
afraid of something, even the devil.
Clay
goes to a professor that specializes in pre-celtic symbols. He's
delighted to be of help, until he sees the symbol. He's freaked out
by the devil's penis. He wants to know the medium it was inscribed
with. Clay admits that it was in blood on a wall. The professor
finally tells him that it's witchcraft, and some heavy duty stuff. He
advises him to rip the paper up and forget he ever saw it, or not,
but he can't help with it. He does give him a name that could help
him, but warns Clay not to poke at monsters. Clay isn't afraid of
monsters though.
Logan
tries to psychoanalyze Malcolm, but its not working. Jeremy comes and
relieves him of his guard, though Logan doesn't want to go. Jeremy
puts his alpha foot down. Malcolm paces his cage. He wants out, but
Jeremy isn't going to let him go. Malcolm warns that something is
coming for them. He's not sure what it is, but its strong. Jeremy
thinks its a ploy, but Malcolm reminds him that he's betting the life
of the first child born to his pack. Jeremy is enjoying Malcolm's
fear.
Clay
goes to find Ms. Euruba. He scopes out the place, but there doesn't
appear to be anyone home. Clay heads out back, and finds a building
full of symbols, and clucking chickens. Ms. Euruba had her throat
ripped out. Someone didn't want her talking.
Nick
and Jeremy wait for Sanchez. Nick asks if Jeremy is sure that he
wants to do this, and Jeremy is very sure. He tells Sanchez that they
have Malcolm, and he's alive. Sanchez is thankful for the opportunity
to wipe away the bad blood between them and asks for the chance to
kill Malcolm himself, and bring their packs closer together. Sanchez
isn't pressing though, he's on thin ice. Jeremy invites him inside,
and brings him downstairs. Malcolm thinks that Jeremy has come to his
senses, but its Sanchez who has. He bet on the wrong horse, and now
its time to put it down.
With
Ms. Euruba unable to give Clay any of the answers that he needs, Clay
searches her home for something that may be of help. He looks around,
and finds a false panel and a hidden book.
Malcolm
tells Sanchez that he wants to speak with the Alpha council. He needs
to warn them of the danger coming, but Sanchez is buying his story no
more than Jeremy did. Jeremy explains that Sanchez came to watch the
end of treachery. Sanchez asks if there is anything he wants to say
before he kills him. Malcolm delivers a final insult to Sanchez and
from behind Jeremy rips out Sanchez's throat. He asks Malcolm again
where Rachel is threatening to kill him. But with the whispering in
the air, Malcolm knows that Jeremy won't have a chance. The witches
have arrived.
Inside
of the book Clay finds the Devil's penis with the note “The
Destroyer Comes.”
The
whispering leads Nick upstairs. Its all around, and it brings Elena
and Logan too. None of them know what it is.
Clay
returns home, or what use to be home, long ago. The trailer he once
lived in is a graffiti mess. He enters, and the inside looks as bad
as the outside. It's obvious that kids have been sneaking in for
years to have a good time. A man comes from behind him with a
shotgun. It doesn't look like much, but its not open to the public.
Clay asks about the family that use to live here. The man remembers
the family well. The woman was a peach, very sweet. Clay asks if he
has contact information, but the man reveals that the family died.
The woman was killed by a wolf, where he is standing, the boy (him)
was never found. When the father came home from Somalia, he killed
himself in grief. Clay runs from the home.
Logan
heads down to Malcolm again, posturing, and demanding Rachel's
location. Malcolm again asks for freedom in exchange for his
information. Logan realizes that he doesn't have her. Malcolm demands
that he open the gate, warning that they're both defenseless, but
they aren't. Logan shifts.
Nick,
Elena and Jeremy head outside. Fog covers the grounds of Stonehaven,
the whispering is everywhere. Jeremy has the pair circle the grounds,
trying to surround the enemy. Nick and Elena head off in different
directions. Separated they look for the cause of the fog and noise.
Nick finds a mewing bag that writhes on the ground. He doesn't touch
it. Out of the fog, a white eyed Paige appears and pokes him just
under his eye. Nick's eye's begin to pour blood, and he screams.
Elena and Jeremy rush towards him.
Fog
pours into the house, and with it Ruth. She uses her crazy marble to
find Malcolm. It rolls down the stairs, and straight to his cage.
Nick
continues to scream as Jeremy and Elena reach him. He screams about
being blind, about the blood, but Jeremy assures him that there is no
blood. He sends Nick back to the house with Elena as he searches for
the woman in the fog.
Ruth
heads towards the basement, but meets a wolfed out Logan. She shuts
the door, and heads away without her prize.
Elena
comforts Nick, bringing him back to reality with her touch, and her
voice. He finally pulls out of the spell that haunted him like a bad
dream.
The
next morning, Nick looks better, but he didn't get much sleep. Still
he tells Elena to get some sleep, she's been up for nearly a day.
Jeremy didn't find any trace of the woman, and they aren't ghost he's
sure of. Elena puts on her coat. She doesn't want to go out, but she
has to. Phillip's sister is in town, and she doesn't want her to come
to the gates, especially not with the mess they have going on. Nick
offers Elena his keys and gives her some sage advice. If she sees a
woman with white eyes, to run her over.
Malcolm
had nothing to do with the attack upstairs, he was in his cell the
entire time. Jeremy asks what happened to his men in Rochester.
Malcolm admits that he thought that it was Jeremy coming after him at
first. He thought they were humans, but they didn't feel any pain. He
tucked Rachel away before the attack. There are dark forces at work,
dark forces that they cannot explain. Clay knows it was witchcraft.
Clay found the woman that Malcolm killed when she wouldn't give him
the book. Malcolm warns them that the book is the only thing that can
combat the witches. He wants the book to protect them all. They are
no match for the witches, they took out all of his wolves in
Rochester in no time at all.
Elena
walks into the diner where Diane awaits. The two use to be best
friends, but as Elena approaches, its clear that ship is long gone.
Elena awkwardly sits down, and offers her an apology. She couldn't
bring herself to come to the funeral. Diane has been trying to figure
out where it all went south. Phillip started acting all jealous, and
then ranting how Elena was a part of some crime family, and she
brushed it off as a nervous breakdown, until he was stabbed in his
own apartment. She asks point blank if it was Clay. Elena admits that
Clay was trying to protect him. She tells Diane that Phillip was
headed to the airport, the two of them were going to run off to Paris
to escape her family and their crazy drama. There is a darkness in
her family, death and murder, and she was part of it. She tried to
get away from it, and Phillip, her, and their family were her
lifeline. Phillip was going to save her from it all. Diane thinks
that they should have gone to the police. Phillip understood that
wasn't an option, that was why they were running. She couldn't do the
one thing that would save him, leaving him. If she would have left
him he would have had a broken heart, but he would have been alive.
Elena lays all the blame solely on her shoulders. Diane asks if she
ever loved him. Elena thinks that she did, but it wasn't enough.
Diane doesn't know Elena, she never really did, and she can't even go
to the police. Money, power, what do they fight for, Diane asks.
Right now they fight for revenge. Diane asks that she never contact
her again, and Elena leaves bent a mangled spoon in her wake.
The
men prepare to summon the women that have attacked them, and Nick
can't believe they're actually doing it. Jeremy says the incantation,
but nothing happens at first, and then the whispering starts up.
Clay, Logan, Nick and Jeremy rush into the library, and seated at
Jeremy's desk is Paige and Ruth. Clay rushes forward, and Paige warns
him against it, Nick agrees with her, having been whammied by her.
Ruth lays the cards on the table, they both know what the other is.
Nick can't believe that they summoned witches, but they didn't summon
them. They walked through the unlocked front door, not that they
didn't hear the summons. Paige pulls forward a chair, flexing her
magic muscles. The wolves are at a disadvantage, knowing little about
the witches. Ruth apologizes for her daughter's youthful zeal. Jeremy
sends Clay and Logan to guard the entrances as Ruth asks to take a
seat hearby. Nick and Paige mirror each other's stances by their
leaders. Ruth slips Jeremy her card. Paige takes some cheap shots at
Nick, its going to be fun between the two. Ruth explains who she is,
she's a cosmetic proprietor. They have no desire to expose the
wolves, and yet they're there. Jeremy asks if they were responsible
for Rochester. Paige tells him that they only saw the aftermath. Ruth
tells him that the man who did that knows that they exist, all of
them. They're being hunted. The man wants the werewolf downstairs and
so do they.
Elena
pays Malcolm a little visit. She wants to know why he killed Phillip.
She needed to know who was in charge, not him, but her wolf nature.
He asks her if she still has the dream of normalcy. He mocks that
dream. The rage she feels is her wolf desperate to break free, and he
gave her the gift of not being tied down to anyone. She only wants
his death.
Ruth
explains that the pack may want Malcolm dead, but they want to trade
him for a young witch who is being held hostage. The girl hasn't yet
come into her powers, she's helpless, and she's been kidnapped by
this force. Ruth asks for his help. Jeremy understands that she wants
Malcolm, but he can't turn him over. Ruth points out that he may
think that brute force is enough, but it isn't. Soon they will come
for him, and he will be begging them for help. Jeremy doubts that.
Ruth knows that he's either on their side, or in their way, and right
now he's in their way.
Malcolm
continues to taunt Elena. He thinks it's only fitting that she be the
one that kill him. He made Clay and he made her. He gets Elena all
worked up, to the point that Elena opens up the cage, but luckily
Clay is there before she can do anything really stupid. Clay gets the
door closed, and Logan drags her away. She's sorry that she almost
killed Malcolm, that she would have killed their only lead to Rachel,
but that Malcolm really needs to die. Why exactly is TV Elena so much
dumber than book Elena? Clay is left alone with Malcolm. Malcolm
admires the fight in Elena, she has more fire than any of the rest of
them. He knew when Clay returned from Baton Rouge that Clay had heard
the tale of the wolf who ate his mother. He admits that he tore her
to bits. Clay is upset, but he walks away.
Elena
finally admits that she needs to deal with Phillip's murder. She
almost blew Logan's chance of finding Rachel. She isn't sure what
she's capable of. He just wants her to find peace, and that's what
she wants too. Apparently peace means that sex with Clay. Elena lays
back on the bed, and Clay strips down.
Jeremy
goes to see his father once more. He's come to the realization that
Malcolm was taken by surprised in Rochester. He was in way over his
head, and he doesn't have Rachel. Without knowledge of her, he has no
bargaining chips left. Malcolm is sure that Jeremy won't survive
what's coming, that he and his pack will be joining him in death soon
enough. Jeremy has no plans of that. He will deal with the witches
and what is coming, and he will protect his family. He spend so long
scared of his father, and now he will end his life at dawn.
Logan
tries to drink his pain away. Malcolm doesn't know where Rachel is,
she may be gone. Jeremy tells him that he has to prepare for the
worse. His pack is his home, and no matter the outcome, they will
help him get through this.
More whispering, and something funky in
the nuts that Ruth was playing with. Elena awakens, knowing that
something is wrong. She and Clay head downstairs to check things out.
Every door and every window is open. Elena rushes to the basement,
her thoughts tuning to Malcolm. The door to his cell is open, and
he's gone.
After
a long hiatus, Bitten is finally back. Last time we saw the
lycanthropes, Elena found her ex-main squeeze's head in her bed. So
much for letting Phillip go so he could live his normal life, and her
her wolfy one.
Nate
Parker duped them last year, posing as a hacker, who was working for
Papa Malcolm and putting Phillip on the wolf trail. Now, he's sitting
under spot light ala interrogation style. From the top. He tells the
voice that his name is Nate Parker, he was hired by Malcolm Danvers,
and he shot the wolf video. The room shakes slightly, and Nate looks
worse for the wear as he's asked to repeat his story. He wasn't a
part of the attack on Stonehaven, he had nothing to do with that, but
he does know about the new recruit efforts. The lights flicker, and
Nate wets himself. He pleads. Malcolm is the one that they want, and
he is willing to tell the voice anything it wants to hear. The room
stops shaking, and no sound comes from the speaker. Hospital gown
clad Nate doesn't think anyone is there, as he looks into the two way
mirror. He asks what they did to him, panicked that he's getting no
response. He's got an odd symbol on his neck. He tries the door, and
it opens. The sterile looking operating room on the other side is
empty. Nate looks around warily, the entire place seems to be
deserted. Ass hanging out of his gown, he heads for the open door,
and outside. Nate takes off towards the woods, running as fast as he
can. When he trips and falls, he uses the opportunity to strip the
rest of the way down, and shift. Furred and on four legs Nate. Wolf
Nate runs long and hard, but when he passes the same symbol branded
onto his neck, the symbol smokes, on the post, and explodes on Nate's
neck killing him. Bye Nate, I can't say you'll be missed.
Elena
kicks in the door to the men's room, and she looks pissed, almost as
fierce as a t-rex ruining a man's privacy. She pulls the poor guy
from his business, she wants information. He knows better than to go
against the pack, but he knows about the recruitment meetup. He gives
Elena and Clay the information that he knows. He wants no part of
that mess, he heard what they did to Elena's boyfriend. Elena
squeezes at his windpipe. He confesses that no person deserves to die
like that. Elena is off the hinges as she throws the man aside. Girl
needs to get a grip on her emotions. She leaves the bathroom with
Clay trailing behind her.
Back
at Stonehaven, Jeremy is playing host to the Alpha council. He
understands their concern, but they cannot change what has happened.
One is more concerned with the actions that lead up to it, the fact
that it could happen in his territory at all. Jeremy points out that
they handled it, and made an example of the mutt responsible. The
Russian Alpha, Roman, offers to do what Jeremy has no been able to,
to kill his father. Jeremy will not let the death of 2 of his pack,
or the kidnapping of an important person aka Logan's baby momma, go
unpunished. Roman is less concerned about all of this, and more about
killing Malcolm. The fish rots from the head he tells him. He thinks
that packs are a reflection of leadership, and Jeremy's leadership is
weak. An alpha cannot show his throat like this. He gives Jeremy one
week to deliver Malcolm's head or they will find Malcolm and take his
pack. Jeremy is backed into a corner. He invites the others to enjoy
Montana while his pack takes care of business. One Alpha, the Spanish
one, offers to remain behind, insists on it hoping for it to be a
chance to get to know eachother. Jeremy is sure when they return that
he will have Malcolm's head on a stick, as his pack is diligently
searching.
Nick
is currently searching the girl's tonsil's he's got pressed against
his hotel door. He's using his sexy body as a distraction as he
removes a pin from her jacket. The woman asks about
moving into the hotel room to continue what they’d started but Nick
teases he has a thing for public places. With
the pin free, Nick gets the girl into his room, and Joey gets busy on
the pin. The girl tries to take control of the situation, but Nick
grabs her by the thighs, and dives into the situation face first.
Elena
is looking for a bit of distraction as well. She's been running
nonstop, with no sleep, but that's not going to stop her now. She
wants Clay, and he's not really up for saying no as she strips him
down, and herself as well. In the doorway, Clay takes Elena, helping
her to forget her loss.
Logan
gives Jacob's father his metals. Jacob's father doesn't know why his
son would be caught up Malcolm Danvers. Logan didn't come all the way
out to him to tell him that his son died, or to blow sunshine up his
butt. He needs to know anything he knows about what Jacob was doing
before, or while working with Malcolm. Jacob's father wants no part
of the mess, Logan confesses that Malcolm has his pregnant
girlfriend, and he's desperate to find her. Jacob's father tells
Logan that prior to Jacob's death he had some calls from him about
paying off a meth dealer.
Elena
gets dressed in a hurry, telling Clay that they're leaving in a few
minutes. Clay wants Elena to have a moment and grieve, deal with
Phillip's death. Jorge dealt with Phillip's death she tells him.
Jorge may have disposed of the body, but that does nothing to help
her. Elena admits that Phillip's sister has been calling her nonstop,
and she doesn't know what to say to her. As far as his family is
concerned Phillip died in a car crash and thinks that she has nothing
to do with it. Clay tells her that she had nothing to do with it, but
she knows differently.
For
being on a deadline, Jeremy is very calm, Sanchez notes. He should be
frantic, looking for Malcolm, not sitting around having drinks with
another alpha. Sanchez points out Roman never misses an opportunity
to disrespect another alpha, and how he did so by sitting in Jeremy's
chair. Jeremy saw, and reminds him that not all great alpha's are
heavy handed, Sanchez's father wasn't. He lead his pack with his
heart. Sanchez asks Jeremy what he will do if Malcolm does get away
with his pregnant hostage. R-oh. Jeremy never said Malcolm's hostage
was pregnant, but Jeremy lets it go. Malcolm is being backed for
sure, since he has no money. He's obviously being backed by outside
money. Jeremy asks if Malcolm is being funded by Russian money, if he
will back him on killing Roman. Sanchez is all in.
Elena
and Clay scope out another potential informant. Elena gets handsy
again. She's extra rough with this one. He taunts Clay about letting
his girlfriend handle the interrogation, but Elena has it under
control, like extra ragey control. The informant doesn't have much to
give though. No one is wishing to be recruited, and he tries to goad
Elena into killing him. Malcolm is going to kill him anyways, and he
figures that Elena will do a prettier job. He tells Elena that it was
him that killed her boyfriend, not Malcolm. He beheaded him as he
begged for his life. Elena rips his tongue from his mouth, and snaps
his neck. Clay thinks that he could have had more information, but
Elena doesn't think it matters. It doesn't anymore, and she torches
the body for good measure.
As
they leave the shipyard, they're confronted by a group of people also
looking for Malcolm. They pick a fight with the wolves, and even out
numbered, the people stand no chance. Elena stabs one with her own
knife and she repeats that they're there for the one true curse, the
one called Malcolm Danvers, as she extracts her blade from her side.
Clay and Elena kill all of them, and they all have the same odd brand
that Nate had earlier. Clay notes that all of them acted like they
felt no pain, and Elena wonders what Malcolm has gotten himself into.
Nick's
girl toy, returns to work with a little extra bounce in her step.
Siobhan, returns to her office, with her lapel pin firmly in place.
She gets a call from the FBI, Joey asks about some bank activity on
an account. It goes against bank policy, but Joey presses, telling
her that the guy is sick, like 10 year old girl sick. Using the lapel
pin camera, Nick sees what's on her screen and is able to take a
picture of it. Siobhan tells him there are no transactions from the
Philippians, and Joey gets off the phone quickly. Nick phones Jeremy,
they have what they were after. Lots of transactions, but none since
the attack. It looks as if he was making utility payments, which
could be his home base. Jeremy phones Clay and Elena, sending them to
Rochester. Logan is still off the grid, but they have to act fast.
Elena asks what happens if they don't find Malcolm in that time. He
tells her not to worry about it, and disconnects her. Nick presses,
and Jeremy tells him that he'll have to step down and give up the
pack. Jeremy asks where the money is coming from, Russia is the
source. Joey is free to go, but Nick has to return home, they have
some business with the Spanish Alpha to attend to. Nick gives Joey
his walking papers. Joey tells Nick if he finds Malcolm to kill him
for their fathers.
Nick
calls to Logan, who's busy interrogating his own leads. Nick tells
him that they have a lead on Rachel, that she may be in Rochester.
Clay and Elena are headed that way as well, and if he gets there
first he should wait for them. Logan barely agrees, but he's not
likely going to wait more than a second.
Poor
Rachel is being held captives by a group mutts. She's refusing to
eat. One points out that she should think of the baby, and she is.
They've been drugging her food. Malcolm can't reach either of the men
that he sent off to gather recruits. If the pack can get to those
men, they can get to them. It's not time to move, but to prepare. The
lights flicker, and there's whispering. Malcolm tells them to go see
what that is. A black bird flies into the house, and breaks its neck
against the wall. It's a bad omen the mutt is sure. The bird gets up
and flies away. Everyone's noses start bleeding, before they're
blinded by light.
Logan
finds the house, and there's blood everywhere. Its on streaked on the
walls. There are fallen mutts, and a giant bloody symbol on the wall.
Logan finds one still alive, he's been stabbed in the stomach. He
knows that they're all going to die. Logan pleads with him, asking
him where Malcolm is going to take her as he dies. Clay and Elena
find Logan. She followed Malcolm's trail, but it was too faint. Logan
wants to go out to try to track it. He finds her shoe. Elena asks
when the last time he slept was. Logan can't sleep now. He knows that
Rachel was there. Elena wants to get him out of there, anywhere to
get some rest. Clay takes a pitcure of the bloody symbol with his
phone.
Malcolm
sits in a diner, sketching the symbol as a waitress refills his
coffee. An elderly man makes friends with Malcolm, and offers him a
ride. Outside, in a bee covered car the witches watch Malcolm. Paige
wants to stop him, but Ruth prefers a little more privacy. Instead
they plan to follow him.
Nick
arrives home, and updates Jeremy on Clay, Elena and Logan. With no
sign of Malcolm, Nick thinks that they should be preparing to play
hardball, but Jeremy has a way of doing things. He introduces Nick to
Rodrigo Sanchez. Jeremy tells Sanchez that Nick was in New York
tracking down Malcolm's accounts, and that the accounts point to
Russia. Sanchez tells him that he has the proof that he needs to go
against Roman, but Jeremy knows that Roman has never met his father,
and he was careful to not reveal that Rachel was pregnant. Nick
smells fear, which is why wolves never play poker together. Jeremy
believes there are two ways to be a traitor, and Sanchez has chosen
the weaselly way. He slams Sanchez onto the desk. He has put the
pieces together. Sanchez funded Malcolm through a Russian bank so
that they would blame Roman. Sanchez confesses that Malcolm called
him recently, wanting money wired to Baton Rouge, and that Malcolm is
planning to fly to Bangkok. He knows nothing more about the girl,
only that Malcolm had her. Rather than killing him, Jeremy offers to
give him another chance. If the other packs learned of Sanchez's
betrayal Roman wouldn't just kill his infant son, but skin him alive.
He tells Sanchez to wait for his call.
Ruth
and Paige lose Malcolm, but luckily they have magic on their side,
and Ruth uses it to find Malcolm's direction. The old man who offered
to drive Malcolm is a kind spirit, and Malcolm is actually sorry for
what he's about to do. He kills him, and tosses his body from the
truck before setting back out.
Elena
wonders how Malcolm could have killed all of those men. Clay shows
Elena the symbol that was out of the house, which was the same one on
the people from the docks. Nick calls Clay and gives him an update,
and also what's really at stake. They have to find Malcolm and fast
or Jeremy will lose the pack. The trio set out for Baton Rouge, and
Jeremy and Nick plan to follow.
Malcolm
in his pilfered truck heads to his hidey hole. The pack gathers
together, and prepares to storm the castle. Logan is ready to get his
girlfriend back, and take his son and raise him as a mutt. That's not
going to happen. He's going to bring the boy to Jeremy to raise as
part of the pack. Logan reluctantly agrees and Jeremy is ready to
finish what they started. Jeremy and the others find Malcolm easily
enough. He's not even trying to hide. Jeremy plans to hold him
accountable for Pete, Antonio and Phillip's deaths. Jeremy and
Malcolm come to blows.
Logan
hears the sound of Rachel's voice and goes running toward the sound,
with Nick not far behind him.
Jeremy
and Malcolm continue to battle as Clay and Elena watch. There are
pictures of the symbol all around. Malcolm tells Elena that something
is coming for them, that she should protect herself.
Logan
and Nick run across the field, guided by what Logan thinks is Rachel.
He heads out to a covered well, but find nothing but a floating doll.
Paige and Ruth watch from the distance. Rachel isn't there, and Logan
knows that they can't kill Malcolm.
Jeremy
stabs Malcolm with a chisel, and he removes it from his side and goes
on the attack. Jeremy gets the upperhand and the chisel back, but
before he can use it to finally end Malcolm's reign of terror, Logan
arrives. Rachel isn't there, they can't kill Malcolm yet. Jeremy asks
where Rachel is, but that's one card Malcolm isn't ready to reveal.
They
bind Malcolm's hands, but he's going willingly. He wants to get out
of the open quickly. Elena reminds him that he isn't safe with them,
but he's safer with them than he is out in the open.
Jeremy
reminds Logan that they may not get the truth from Malcolm no matter
what.
Malcolm
has been through a lot this past weekend. Clay shows him the bloody
symbol, asking him if this has anything to do with his fear. He's
seen something, but he won't saw what yet. They put him in the car.
Clay plans to stay behind, to find out what the symbol is. He wants
Elena to go home with Jeremy, to be there when Malcolm dies.
Paige
and Ruth watch from the trees. They can't distract all the wolves at
the same time. They plan to follow Malcolm where ever he goes.
In
a circle of candles, under the moonlight, Paige let's Savannah talk
though her. Alastair came back angry. He was mad about the wolf, not
her. Savannah hears screams.
On
a table lies the dead Nate. He's still in wolf form and he's being
dissected. On the table next to him is Rachel. She's tied down, as
doctor's go about their work. One stabs her in the belly with a huge
syringe, and she screams. Poor girl.
It ain't over between the Mutts and the Pack! Time to breathe a sigh of relief. Our favorite eye candy werewolf show is coming back! It was announced today that a 10-episode second season of Bitten will begin shooting this summer in Toronto, Hamilton, and the small Ontario community of Hespeler (aka Bear Valley), the press release is below. Considering Bitten is Space's #1 original series of all time—so far, the show has reached nearly 5 million viewers—this news should make a lot of fans very happy, including those who expressed their support via the #RenewBitten hashtag on Twitter, which generated almost 30,000 mentions.
Season two will once again star Laura Vandervoort as Elena, the world's only female werewolf; Grek Bryk as Jeremy Danvers, the Pack alpha; and Greyston Holt as Clay Danvers, Elena's on-again-off-again werewolf BF. Steve Lund and Michael Xavier will also be returning as Nick and Logan, respectively. And they'll have a lot to contend with in season two: Jeremy's not-so-dead-after-all father Malcolm has vowed he's not done with the Pack, Logan's family life is under serious threat, and Elena will have to deal with the horrific fallout from her relationship with Philip.
Although author, Kelley Armstrong, will not be associated with season 2 of the show based on her characters, her facebook page did say that season 2 will be based on the second book of the series Stolen, meaning we'll be introduced to some non-werewolf supernatural characters.
