Bitten Season 2 to premiere in 2015

It ain't over between the Mutts and the Pack! Time to breathe a sigh of relief. Our favorite eye candy werewolf show is coming back! It was announced today that a 10-episode second season of Bitten will begin shooting this summer in Toronto, Hamilton, and the small Ontario community of Hespeler (aka Bear Valley), the press release is below. Considering Bitten is Space's #1 original series of all time—so far, the show has reached nearly 5 million viewers—this news should make a lot of fans very happy, including those who expressed their support via the #RenewBitten hashtag on Twitter, which generated almost 30,000 mentions.
Season two will once again star Laura Vandervoort as Elena, the world's only female werewolf; Grek Bryk as Jeremy Danvers, the Pack alpha; and Greyston Holt as Clay Danvers, Elena's on-again-off-again werewolf BF. Steve Lund and Michael Xavier will also be returning as Nick and Logan, respectively. And they'll have a lot to contend with in season two: Jeremy's not-so-dead-after-all father Malcolm has vowed he's not done with the Pack, Logan's family life is under serious threat, and Elena will have to deal with the horrific fallout from her relationship with Philip.
Although author, Kelley Armstrong, will not be associated with season 2 of the show based on her characters, her facebook page did say that season 2 will be based on the second book of the series Stolen, meaning we'll be introduced to some non-werewolf supernatural characters.

Bitten Recap S1E13 (Finale): Ready

Elena gives Clay a bath. He needs to get ready, she tells him they’re ready, the mutts haven’t moved yet. He thinks that he failed her, that he couldn’t save Philip, but he didn’t fail her. Because of her Philip was in danger, and she finally knows the truth. He sacrificed their love for her life, no more sacrifices she tells him. She puts his wedding ban back on is finger, and he kisses her hands.

Nick loads firewood. Jeremy and Nick prepare to torch their records to protect everyone should the mutts get ahead. It’s not just for the sake of the werewolves against humans, but against the mutts too. Jeremy tells him that there are secrets down there passed down from Alpha to Alpha. Nick grabs the kerosene.

Daniel Santos tells James Williams, that the pack getting Clay back isn’t the end of the world, they still have a chance. He asks if Santos knows what rubble does to Italian leather, but by the scuff marks on his shoes he doesn’t. Williams isn’t confident in Santos’ thought process, but he thinks Santos may have tortured the fight out of Clay. Santos knows that didn’t buy them much, he should have killed Clay when he had the chance. Williams points out that he has another chance, everything is in place, but they have to strike now.

Rachel and Logan find a cheap motel, until their flight. Logan tries to comfort Rachel, but she’s worried about Elena and the rest of the family. Logan looks around, but he doesn’t have answers. He offers some comfort food, pizza with anchovies. Logan plans to pamper his baby’s momma from here on out, and she likes the idea.

The phone Elena planted in Santos’ vehicle still hasn’t moved. Nick asks after Clay, and Elena admits that he isn’t good, that they did a number on him. Elena is worried about him, about Nick too, and plans to make the mutts pay for everything they did to the people that she loves. She tells Jeremy that Clay is resting but he needs days not hours. Jeremy doesn’t want to toe around the distance between them. Elena tells him that neither of them can change the past. Clay did what he did to protect them from eachother, without protecting himself. She vows to stand between anything that threatens him, even Jeremy.

Marsden reads the writing on the wall of the town, and LeBlanc wonders if he’s gone bonkers. Marsden is a very smart man, he learned hobo code to further himself, and refuses to ever sleep scared in a field as a wolf again. LeBlanc mocks him, stupid mutt. Santos comes and tries to prepare them for war. It’s Marsden’s turn to mock. He bid on the wrong pony in this race. Santos uses Williams’ words about gravel and Italian leather, but the words means less with his own scuffed non Italian leather shoes. Marsden is the only one of the group probably wearing or accustomed to wearing Italian leather. Santos says they’ll see how they look when his feet are using Jeremy’s head as a footrest.

Jorge checks in with Jeremy. He’s cleaning is done in Toronto. Jeremy asks about Philip. He’s gone to France. The website for James Williams is a fake, and it’s ran by Nate Parker, who has gone missing. Last known address is Churchhill, which just so happens to be where his father Malcolm died. Jorge points out that Malcolm didn’t die easily, and he needs a show of force against the mutts. Jorge thinks that he and Joey should head to Stone Haven, but Jeremy declines. He knows the mutts are after Elena, and he needs to know that if things go South, another wave of pack will fight to get her back. He tells him if he’s worried about Elena to send her to Vancouver. Jeremy won’t do that, the pack is stronger when she’s with them, and it’s the only chance they’ve got.

Elena tends to Clay’s wounds. Clay tells Elena that she owes her a bottle of bourbon. After she came to apply to be his research assistant, Pete bet him a bottle of bourbon that he’d fall in love with her. He lost, but they both won in the end. She kisses him, and her computer goes off. Santos’ car is on the move. She brings the computer to Jeremy, as long as the phone has battery left they can track him. Clay grunts in pain, and Jeremy decides to wait and let them come to him. Nick sees it as a disadvantage, giving them what they want, but Jeremy thinks that they can pick them off one by one. Elena sides with Nick, but Clay is with Jeremy, knowing that they will have to kill them to take anything. Jeremy declare they will win or die there, but at Stone Haven they are strongest together.

Rachel gets an earful of her neighbors in the lovely cheap motel. She sends Logan a text, as the noises get worse. He tells her he’s having car trouble, to hold tight.

Nick brings in a big bag of bear traps. The mutts are twenty minutes out. Jeremy rearranges furniture, Clay and Elena board windows. Nick puts a big pot of oil on the stove. Elena and Clay set some bear traps. Jeremy shows Nick a secret passage in the Legacy room. Nick asks how he never knew about the passage, and Jeremy admits that they survive because of their secrets. He tells him that he met his mother once, that Antonio didn’t want anyone to know he was in love, but seeing them together it was obvious. Antonio didn’t say a word that day, just staring at her. Nick admits that he asked Jorge to find her, but Jeremy tells him that he doesn’t have to do that, he knows where she is.

Rachel looks in the fridge, it’s empty. She heads out to find snacks, because that’s totally the safest thing to do when you’re pregnant and on the run.

Clay sits in pain. He’s clearly not ready for this. Someone pushes their way in, it’s Logan. They all sit and wait. Jeremy asks how Logan is, and he’s fine. Jeremy admits that he was scared, Logan asks because he left or because he returned. Jeremy tells him that bringing Rachel here complicated matters for all of them. Elena tells everyone that the mutts are getting closer. Logan tells Jeremy that right or wrong it clarifies things, he cannot adhere to the rules. He refuses to steal his son from Rachel so that Jeremy can raise him. Jeremy points out that he was half way to somewhere else, so why did he come back. Logan thinks it has nothing to do with pack rules, but because they’re his family. No one else is going to die, not today. Jeremy asks where the mutts are, they’re outside. Jeremy decides its time to go out and greet them. The pack head out, but they don’t see them. It says he’s there, but they don’t see anything. Rachel comes running out of the woods, taped up, with Elena’s cell phone in her pocket. Logan runs to her, and a mutt comes out of hiding. Jeremy spots it, and heaves an axe towards it as Logan runs with Rachel in his arms. The axe hits its mark, landing in the wolf’s skull. With Rachel in Logan’s arms, the pack heads inside, bracing for the worst. Jeremy tells him to hide her. Oh they’re ready. Elena sees that they’ll have to fight as humans. There’s no time to change. They’ll fight in pairs, no one fights alone.

Logan takes Rachel up to Elena’s room, and unties her. She was blindfolded, and stuffed in the trunk. She heard the men say they weren’t going to stop until all of them were dead. She grabs him tight, and then pushes him away angry. He knew it wasn’t over, and he left her. He confesses that he couldn’t leave her not yet. He shows her a hidden room in the wall, and tells her to get in. She asks if he plans to strangle someone else into submission, no, silly girl he plans to kill them. Rachel finally thinks she realizes what she’s gotten into. She gets into the hideyhole, and Logan runs off.

LeBlanc wonders why they don’t just burn it down. Santos tells him that its his house to Mardsen’s amusement. Santos sends them in, but he’s not coming. A true king leads the first wave, Marsden remarks, but Santos is no king. He has more minions heading in, nothing more than meat. Santos doesn’t see Marsden running in, but he’s not the heir apparent, nor is he meat he makes clear. He’s just the pain in his ass, he tells Marsden, and sends him to babysit Marsden. Marsden tells him that he’s going to get everything that he has coming to him, shaking his hand before heading off.

The mutts begin with an explosion, as a pair of them come in through the kitchen. Jeremy and Nick head off after them. Another explosion, this time near the foyer,  and a lone wolf comes in. Clay throws a bear trap his way, ensnaring the wolf, who Clay easily kill. Two more come in, one the wolf that Clay removed all his teeth, Samuel Boggs. He’s back with some metal chompers, how very Jaws of him. The pair beat at Clay and Elena, and Jeremy is given a bath upstairs. It’s a very wet and wild fight. Elena holds her own against her mutt, and when he hits her with a battering ram, she uses an iron pole against him. Another grenade sounds, and Clay gets battered with the battering ram.

A mutt enters Elena’s room, and Rachel tries to keep quiet, peeking though the small hidey hole, as Nick takes him on. Jeremy finally drowns the worthless mutt, as Marsden and LeBlanc storm the castle. Marsden tries to get LeBlanc to focus on Jeremy, but he still wants a piece of Elena. Elena still goes toe to toe with pole boy, and Clay finally knocks the battering ram out of Boggs’ hands. It’s an all out brawl in the kitchen, but Elena is faring well.

Nick and his mutt continue their fight around the bedroom, as Rachel struggles not to make a sound. The fight is right in front of her, and she watches in horror as Nick finally kills the guy. Nick opens the door, sexy and a little out of breath, and Rachel tells him that she’s so scared that he heart is going to explode. She wants to get out, but Nick makes her promise to stay there, he will be back for her when he can. She makes the promise.

Williams arrives with a big briefcase to the front gate of Stone Haven, where Santos is waiting. Santos gleefully tells him that everyone is inside, but Williams questions why he’s not in there too. The orders were to storm it, take it, but Santos decided to watch it from afar. Williams points out that’s no way to show Elena the real alpha, and he moves to show Santos a secret of his future house. On no! My bet is that Williams is Malcolm, former alpha and Jeremy’s pops and he’s about to show him the secret tunnel into the house. Good thing they didn’t hide Rachel in the tunnel.

Elena’s fight takes her down to the basement, aka cage and Legacy room. The door to the dumbwaiter opens and a big black wolf jumps out, attacking the mutt. And that is how the pack rolls. Logan rips into the man, when another enters the basement. Logan takes off after him, as Elena finishes him. LeBlanc grabs Elena from behind, by knife point. LeBlanc wants to make a new scrapbook, and Elena taunts him to drop the knife and take her on fairly. Marsden snatches Elena from LeBlanc’s clutches. LeBlanc is tired of his orders, of the rules to not touch Elena, when all he wants to do is touch her insides. She some sort of prize, but he’s not into prizes, and he moves to slash her. Marsden hits him with a punch that sends him reeling though the nifty glass map. Marsden tells him its not because she’s a prize, but because she’s a lady. The man does have a code, and well LeBlanc has been shitting all over it. Elena guillotines him with the map, and it ends up in his chest, same result. Marsden declares mutiny, and although Elena has no reason to trust him, he’s declaring it anyways.

A bloody human Logan walks back to the house from the woods. What is the point of shifting back? There’s still a war going on inside.

Clay and Boggs fight around the kitchen, and Clay uses Nick’s oil to disarm the mutt. He knocks out his chompers while he’s at it. Elena and Marsden emerge from the basement, and Clay moves to protect Elena, but she stops him. Marsden is now a good guy. Clay thinks he’s a Trojan horse, that they should kill him before he betrays them, but she refuses, he saved her life. Boggs makes a run for it, but Elena stops Clay from giving chase, they have to find Santos. Clay turns his attention back to Marsden, telling him that they let Jeremy decide. Jeremy and Nick head back downstairs. Still no sign of Santos, the pair set out to find and kill him. Logan goes to Rachel’s hiding spot. Damn girl is gone, dammit Carl stay in the house, what the hell is wrong with that girl. Logan tears through the house, and out the way Jeremy and Nick went. Elena and Clay head out too. Logan tears off into the woods, to look for Rachel, Nick goes with him.

Williams and Santos seek inside through the tunnel, and find a dead LeBlanc. Now they go upstairs Williams tells him. The house is empty, and Santos spots Marsden looking out a window. Santos sounds surprised that he’s alive, thinking that must mean that the pack is dead. They aren’t, Marsden tells him that it’s all to hell in a hand basket. Santos doesn’t understand why he’s just standing there. Marsden was warned that if he ran they would follow, and he believes its better to face the music anyways, even if it’s a swan song. Santos, coward that he is, makes a run for it. Santos doesn’t get too far, surrounded by the pack on all sides. Santos runs back towards Marsden, but he too blocks his way. Jeremy understands that Marsden has had a change of heart, and Marsden admits to recent wrong doing. Santos turns on Marsden, blaming him for the crimes of Scott Brandon, the mutt that killed three people before he was killed himself. Marsden doesn’t deny it. Jeremy questions how he knows that this recent awakening of conscious is permanent, and Santos pops in with a “you don’t.” Even Marsden tells him the same. Elena tries to speak on his behalf, but Marsden stops her. He admits that until recently, he never chose a side, lived a solitary life, only pledging allegiance to the long con. Santos thinks its still a long con. For Marsden it isn’t. All he asks for is a swift death. Jeremy finds more use in his life, and Marsden is moved, Clay is shocked. Marsden tells him that if he thinks that is best, then he is at his beck and call. Santos is outraged that his empire of mayhem has fallen, and that Jeremy finds use for Marsden. He roars that Jeremy never even saw it coming, but Jeremy sees how it is going to end as Clay grabs Santos from behind. Santos is resolved to let Clay kill him, but Clay isn’t going to be the one to go it, Elena is. Santos finds joy in it. He always wanted to put his hands on Elena, but its her that is putting her hands on him. He overstepped wanting her, her life, and her children. He tells her that they would have been perfect as she grips his throat, telling her that she would have been the most important member of their kind. Clay points out that she already is. Her future, her everything was never his for the taking, and he tells her that she always had his heart, and now she plans to break it. She grabs his heart in her hand and crushes it. They all breathe a sigh of relief.

With the house is a mess of carnage. Mutts dead all over in nearly every room of the house, and still Williams has not been seen. Logan and Nick continue their search of the woods looking for Rachel. Nick stops him. He doesn’t smell anything, and that’s the problem. Nick wants to turn back, but Logan can’t stop. He has to find her. When he finds her he plans to go off the grid. Nick hugs him for what may be the last time, and Logan heads off to find his woman. Nick turns back to the house.

Jeremy carries Santos’ body from the living room, and Williams comes from upstairs. The two come face to face, and its not a happy reunion. Jeremy drops the body, and he’d hoped that the rumors of Malcolm’s death were true. Malcolm is on a nostalgia tour, and he isn’t happy that his bedroom has been turned into Jeremy’s craft space. Jeremy has always been such a serious child, and he admits that he never wanted a son like him, had he not been hiding behind his grandfather’s coattail, he’d have killed him years ago. So there goes his father of the year award. At least with Santos, he listened. Jeremy is ready to defend his alpha crown, but Malcolm doesn’t want it or even Stone Haven. He wants Elena. Jeremy has let his affections get in the way of Elena’s full potential, and Malcolm thinks he’s a fool. Jeremy warns that he’ll have to go through him to get to her, and Malcolm is counting on it, telling him that he hasn’t seen his best yet.

In Malcolm’s car, the computer programmer, Nate Parker, sits. He tells Malcolm he didn’t even have to go inside, that she came out to him. See Carl, again, stay in the house! Malcolm introduces himself to Rachel, and asks if she liked his gift. She sits as far from her kidnappers a possible, probably wanting to die of fear, with no sexy Nick to save her this time.

Clay removes the axe from the fallen wolf. Elena finds dog tags on another, and recognizes the last name. She plans to tell his father of his son’s death, and blames herself for what happened. She left the pack and her job keeping track of the mutts, and the mutts capitalized on that. She plans to never let that happen again, to team up with Clay and keep up the dossiers. Clay likes the sound of that, but first Elena has something to do.

She heads back to the house, to her room, and places Clay’s ring in her finger. She moves to the mirror to admire the way it looks on her and spots something on her bed. The entire episode the wolves’ sense of smell has absolutely sucked, really and truly. She moves towards the bed and sees Philip’s head sitting there, and lets out a banshee scream, and that is the end of the season, possibly series since it has yet to be picked up by Space and Syfy.

Bitten Recap S1E12: Caged

Elena makes a dash to her car to search for Clay. Nick and Jeremy arrive before she can take off. She tells them that Olsen stabbed Philip and they took Clay. They tell her that they attacked Logan too, Logan and Rachel are missing. Elena wants to split up and search, Jeremy warns that the mutts are no fools, that they won’t kill Clay until they have Elena. She’s not willing to risk Clay’s life on that assumption. Jeremy tells her that Nick will travel with her back to Stone Haven where they’ll regroup to prepare for the mutts.

Daniel Santos has Clay strung up, as he shocks him with a pair of jumper cables. He has to work hard to get his to make any noise. He thinks its about getting respect, but Olsen thinks its about revenge, and he wouldn’t be far off. Santos makes a call to Elena with a proposition. He wants her to meet him alone at the Bear Valley diner. He shocks Clay until he screams to get his point across. Clay still manages to stare him down in between shocks.

Marsden and LeBlanc meet up with Santos. LeBlanc delivers more sedatives. Marsden worries about what he plans to do with Clay, while Santos sends LeBlanc to watch Olsen. Marsden tells Santos about LeBlanc’s rogue actions which left Logan alive. Santos apprises him of his less than stellar results as well. Olsen did not kill Philip, so he can ID him to the police, they did not get Elena as planned to use against Jeremy, so he took Clay instead. Things are not exactly going as Marsden was told. They were supposed to cull the herd, instead it’s been all about Elena. Santos doesn’t think it matters as long as they all get what they want in the end.

Diane sits at the hospital a wreck. Her mother arrives, and asks what happened. Diane tells her it was a home invasion, and Philip was stabbed. Her mother asks about Elena, and she tells her that she doesn’t know, Elena is MIA.

Jeremy doesn’t want Elena to go, knowing it’s a trap. She wasn’t asking, and even Nick chimes in that its too dangerous. Elena worries that Clay will be shipped home one piece at a time, and still Jeremy says no. Rachel arrives with the injured Logan, and the pack springs into action. Rachel tells them that two people broke in, and Logan tells them it was LeBlanc and Marsden. Jeremy moves to remove some fluid so his lungs can inflate. Nick takes Rachel from the room so Jeremy and Elena can work. He tries to comfort her, telling her that Logan has a lot to live for. Rachel isn’t sure what she’s bringing her child into. Nick tells her that she’s bringing her child into a loving family who will protect her, that she means the world to Logan. Nick assures her that Logan will pull through, that she’s safe. She wonders if she and Logan can go back to their normal lives. Nick tells her that things will never be the same, but that’s what happens when you have a baby.

Logan can breathe again, and he apologizes for bringing Rachel there, but Jeremy knows he had no other choice. He tells him to rest up, he’s gonna need all his strength.

Santos rouses Clay, they have some catching up to do. Santos tells him that there are things that he needs to know, but Marsden reminds him to get answers he needs to asks some actual questions, so far he’s just made some petty statements. Clay ruined Santos’s childhood, and killed his brother and he wants to make him and the Danvers family pay. Marsden thinks he’d be better off getting some good therapy. Clay is feeling a little frisky this morning, and LeBlanc drugs him up, to Santos’s satisfaction.

Elena sits by the phone looking guilty. She finally makes a call to Diane. She asks how Philip is, and he’s fine just resting. Diane asks how she is, and she says that she’s fine. Elena wants to know what Philip remembers, but so far Diane tells her its not much, that she should be here with Philip. Elena asks which hospital, and tells her that she’ll be there as soon as she can, but she’s not going. She turns off her phone, and pulls out Clay’s ring box, looking at the ring before putting it back away.

Logan awakes in the recovery room, with Rachel watching over him. He looks awful.

Elena tries to sneak out, and Jeremy intercepts her. She tells him that Santos asked to meet him, and Nick takes up a position behind her. She rushes Jeremy, but the alpha grabs her and sticks her in the cage. She cannot believe that he is locking her in, but Jeremy is trying to save Clay too. He cannot have her compromise his negotiations. He let her go back to Toronto thinking she would be safe, and he was wrong. She tells him that he thinks he can offer himself up to Santos and this will all be over, but Santos is untrustworthy. Err, hello pot, meet kettle. She was about to do the same thing. Elena thinks that Santos will kill him and Clay, but Jeremy already knows that. He cannot trust Santos, but he vows to protect Elena from herself while he and Nick deal with Santos.

Rachel remains in Logan’s room. He awakens, feeling better, asking about her. She’s fine. She tells him that said they were safe at Stone Haven, but she doesn’t feel safe. He tells her that the people who attacked them can’t get them here. She asks if they’re suppose to live there forever, but he tells her that when he’s healed they’ll go, far far away.

Santos taunts Clay that it won’t be long until he and Elena walk off in the sunset, but Clay knows that it’ll never happen. Santos is confident it will. He alludes to Clay’s unwavering pack ties, asks how it felt to kill his brother at Jeremy’s behest, Clay tells him as good as it will when he kills him. Santos hits him, asking which families are aligned with the pack. All of them, another hit. Is Jeremy recovered from his sneak attack. Enough to take out his prize fighter Koenig with enough to kick Santos’s ass. Well Santos is just not getting the answers he desires. Santos tells him that the pack is falling apart, and that the only thing left in Clay’s future are more beatings. Marsden stays his hand. This isn’t about taking down the pack, its about a petty little man never getting his way, while Clay gets everything he desired, pack status and the girl. Marsden walks away in disgust. The Pack may be reduced, but Santo’s most dangerous and valuable asset has lost faith in the cause. Santos struggles to recover, telling Clay that time is running out, that he and Elena have a lunch date. He tells him how he watched Elena at Philip’s sister’s wedding, trying to live a normal life, but she’d give it all up to save Clay, a fact he’s counting on. When he gets his hands on Elena he plans to use her as a broodmare, making a new generation of werewolves. He gets too close to Clay, and Clay head butts him. Santos retaliates by giving him another round of shock therapy.

Elena paces in her cage.

Jeremy checks in on Logan, and tries to rehydrate him. Rachel is resting in Elena’s room, he’s been trying to keep her from wandering around. Logan thanks him for saving his life, and apologizes for not being there when he was needed, but Jeremy understands. He tells him how excited he is for a little one to be running around the grounds again. Jeremy beams, happily, telling Logan his life is going to change so much with fatherhood, that a large part of parenthood is to do what is right for the child. He tells him that the first time he looks in his child’s eyes he will do whatever it takes to keep him safe. Jeremy turns serious, over the centuries they’ve learned the best way to keep their kind safe is within the pack. Jeremy leaves him with his thoughts, hoping to continue to conversation later.

Elena continues to pace. She hears Jeremy car leaving, and she tries again to break free. Rachel hears Elena rattling the bars of her cage, and she sneaks away to find the sound. Down the stairs she creeps through the empty house, until she finds the door leading to the basement. Rachel opens the door, and Logan stops her. She told him that she heard something. He tries to blame it on old pipes, but she’s not buying. He warns her that she does not want to go down there, that she cannot unsee some things. But her curiosity is not assuaged. Logan says again that it’s just old pipes, and urges her upstairs. He goes down himself and finds Elena in the cage. She tells him that Jeremy put her in the cage because he plays to sacrifice himself to Santos in exchange for Clay’s life. Logan stupidly releases Elena. She doesn’t think they’re safe, and tells him to take Rachel and leave as she grabs the tranquilizer gun.

Nick and Jeremy wait. Santos may be many things, but he’s always punctual. They wonder if it was all just a ruse just to lure them out. Elena waits for Santos, and Santos arrives with LeBlanc in tow. Elena warned Santos that Nick and Jeremy were waiting for him at the diner and chose an alternate location. She’s willing to bargain for Clay’s release, but he hasn’t brought Clay, worried that Elena was setting a trap for him. Santos shows Elena a video of the tortured Clay, and Elena reintroduces Santos to her fist. She holds him in a strangle hold, but he waves LeBlanc’s help off. Elena threatens that if he kills Clay she will hunt him down and do worse. Clay will remain alive if Elena cooperates. She’s willing to listen. Santos tells her that the pack is going down, but if she joins his new pack he’ll let the rest live as long as they take up the nomadic mutt life. Santos is deadly serious, and if Elena reneges on the deal he will have Clay and the pack slaughtered. Best of all in Santos’s mind is that Elena gets to birth a new dynasty, because letting a sleazeball knock her up is a bonus. Elena asks about everyone else in her life. He tells her that Victor Olsen went to visit Philip, and he doesn’t believe in a cell phone. Santos is all that lies between the pack and death. Elena makes no choices, but Santos is only keeping the offer on the table until dusk.

Philip is interviewed by a detective. He tells him he remembers a couple of guys coming in, but he didn’t recognize them. The event flashes through his mind in bits and pieces. They didn’t say what they wanted, they just jumped him when they came in but he put up a fight. The detective saw the place, and was impressed by the amount of fight he put up. The detective asks if there was any reason he could think that would have provoked the attack, but Philip has no enemies. He gives him his card if he remembers anything. Diane tells him that he should have told him about the stalker at Elena’s show he beat up, but he didn’t say anything since the stalker was one of the guys. He explains to Diane that Elena and her family are involved in some kind of mafia war, that she told him yesterday. He tells her to keep things quiet. He’s not saying anything because he doesn’t want to put them in further jeopardy.

Marsden pays Clay a visit, and offers him some water. He wishes that he could help Clay more, but Santos has made him little more than a peon. He tells him that Elena and Santos are having a meeting, that Elena has made quite the impression on Santos. Things have gone sideways on him, he never intended for things to get this far out of hand. Clay asks if he thought the pack would roll over and play dead. Marsden confesses that he traded the Devil he knows in Jeremy for the Devil he doesn’t in Santos, who’s gone from ambitious upstart to tyrannical despot in the blink of the eye. Clay suggests that he can switch sides. Marsden wonders if that is the same offer he made Cain before he killed him and buried him.

Philip watches the wolf video with a renewed interest after seeing Elena in wolf form.

Nick and Jeremy rush through the house. Nick heads off to find Logan and Rachel, while he heads to check on Elena. Nick finds them missing from the recovery room, and Jeremy finds the cage empty. There was no sign of a struggle, no scent of a mutt. He knows that Logan let her out, he just hopes that Elena knows what she is doing.

Victor Olsen returns to the scene of the crime to Elena and Philip’s apartment. Elena catches him in a surprise choke hold. She gets him chained up in the bathroom, she wants to knows where they’re holding Clay. Olsen taunts her about their friendship. He’s been in his life longer than anyone else. He asks what she’ll give him in return for the information she desires. She offers him his life as she changes a single finger into a talon. He doesn’t think she’s a killer, but the truth is that he doesn’t know her anymore.

No word from Logan or Elena yet, messages left for both. The grapevine is buzzing that the mutts are looking for new recruits. Nick is guessing for an all out assault, which makes sense to Jeremy. With Clay gone they’re weak, but the longer this attack is drawn out, the more he suspects Santos isn’t the one actually pulling the strings. He was behind the recruitment of Marsden and Cain, and the changing of the killers and pedophiles, but its just a small part of the big picture. Elena is being hit from all sides, and then the video of Elena and Logan as wolves surfaces, it just all too many coincidences otherwise. Nick tells him that Clay said the video was given to Philip by James Williams. They turn their attention to James Williams and his motivations.

Elena continues slashing away at Olsen when he doesn’t answer her questions. She slices open his wrist, and offers to stop the bleeding if he tells her where Clay is. Olsen tells her what a pretty girl she’s always been. He just wants to brush he hair one more time. He asks her to untie him. She will after he tells her what she wants to know, he will if she promises to let him go. Elena hears someone trying to enter the apartment. She gags Olsen and binds his wounds with a towel while she goes to check who is there. It’s Philip. He didn’t get her messages since he didn’t have his cell phone, and he backs away from her fearfully. He’s unsure who is the bigger threat the men who attacked him, or her. She tried so hard to make things work, to be who he thought she was. All he wanted was honesty, but she couldn’t do that. She asks him to go her one last favor and go, run far away, but he refuses to be chased away. She tells him that once he met her his life was forced down a dark road. She didn’t want that but it happened. He hears a noise in the bathroom, and she has blood on her hands. She begs him to go while he still can, and he heads out the door. She heads back to the bathroom, tells Olsen that he can save himself. He thinks she’s still scared, but she isn’t anymore. He tells her what she wants to know, and she wonders how can believe him. He taunts her, that’s the same thing Philip just said to her. She removes the towels from his bleeding wrists, and stuffs his rabbit foot into his mouth. She promised to release him, but she lied.

LeBlanc practices his knife throwing skills when he smells something, or rather someone. He heads off towards the scent, into the woods. Santos comes outside, and finds LeBlanc missing. Elena ambushes Santos from above. She knocks him unconscious with the tranquilizer gun. Marsden hears a disturbance outside, and finds Santos knocked out. She hits Marsden with a tranquilzer, and kinds Clay strung up. He says “it’s to see you darling,” and I squeal just a little. LeBlanc sniffs out Elena’s jacket, and heads off towards the road to find her, but he’s too late. She already has Clay in the car, and she heads out.

Back at Stone Haven, Clay is doing fine, but he’s still weak. Jeremy tells Elena that Jorge went to her apartment to sterilize it, and remove all traces of her. He’s sorry that she was forced to kill again. Olsen gave her everything that she needed, and she still killed him. She never wanted to be an executioner, which is why she left Santos and Marsden alive. After what she saw they did to Clay though, she should have. She did what she had to do for Clay, Jeremy tries to assure her, like Clay did for her when she first came there. Clay bit her and almost killed her, she doesn’t see the connection. Jeremy admits that when Clay first brought her to Stone Haven it was a very foolish and impetuous act. He’d just come back from a run, and was changing when she saw him. Elena didn’t see him. Jeremy tells her that he couldn’t take that chance. He thought she had saw her change and he was going to kill her, he couldn’t take the chance. Light bulb. Clay bit her to give her another chance at life, he defied Jeremy’s orders. All that time Elena blamed Clay for ruining her life. Clay was always the faithful son, willing to accept his burden to protect the relationship between Jeremy and Elena. She cannot believe that he would let Clay carry that weight, and he questioned himself everyday if he did the best thing, and ultimately decided it was best for the pack. Elena is back to her selfish thinking. Jeremy’s decision wasn’t best for her though, or Clay. Jeremy points Clay chose to make that sacrifice, as she chose to make a sacrifice to save him. All that time, Elena shut him out, while Clay has remained the most trustworthy person she knows. She walks away. And the burden shifts to Jeremy’s shoulders.

Elena goes to check on the recovering Clay, who lies asleep on his side. She slides into bed behind him, wrapping her arms around him, and he relaxes in them.

Marsden realizes that they’re all dead. LeBlanc wants him to come, but he doesn’t realize the hornet’s nest they’ve kicked. Santos reasons that Clay is still weak, they can win this battle. Marsden doesn’t like the odds with the three of them left. Santos gets a call from James Williams. He knows that Santos has lost his trump card. He informs him that there will be no more kidnapping. He’s ready for action. It’s time to storm the castle.

Bitten Recap S1E11: Settling

Early morning, and Elena sits awake staring at her phone, but its not ringing, Philip is gone. Clay speaks to Jeremy on the phone, he tells him that she’s emotional right now. Elena tells him that Philip is gone, and he has what he wanted. Clay never wanted her hurt. He tells her that Jeremy and Nick found Joey, and the mutt hideout. Jeremy and Nick are coming. The pack is regrouping and going back to Stone Haven. Elena has to find Philip first and break his heart.

Logan comes home, and finds Rachel’s half eaten breakfast and panics with his phone dead. He charges his phone, and gives her a call. She’s fine, cleaning up at the gallery. She tells him a little about Elena, Victor and Philip, when Karl Marsden walks in. Rachel offers to get him some information on the artist, and Logan flips out. She gives him the number for Diane to get a hold of Elena. Logan panics on the phone, and Marsden leaves easy enough. Logan tells her to come home immediately, claiming he has a surprise for her when she balks. He wants her to stay on the phone until she arrives.

Joey is on the plane to Vancouver, and Nick and Jeremy prepare to head to Toronto. The Sheriff interrupts his leaving. The FBI is preparing to flood his property in regards to a bunch of murders linked to Michael Braxton’s disappearance. Jeremy isn’t going anywhere any time soon. She fills Jeremy in some of the details of the leads. State forensics found a print on an old lead, its Thomas LeBlanc. Jeremy tells her that the name means nothing to him, and she gives him a little insight into LeBlanc’s past. Jeremy thinks that maybe LeBlanc was trying to use the recent wolf kills to hide the bodies, but she points out that serial killers never change their M.O. and the Braxton kill would be exactly that. She tells him that they need to figure out exactly where the body was killed so they can maybe get additional clue. She feels bad that a majority of the recent troubles has found their way to StoneHaven, though the occupants have been innocent.

Elena can’t sit around waiting for Jeremy anymore. She needs to find Philip, he’s not answering. Clay reiterates that Jeremy  said to stay together and stay put. She worries that the mutts may go after Philip, but Clay points out that it would mean risking exposure, and it wouldn’t be worth it to the mutts. Elena thinks Clay is gambling with Philip’s life. But Clay is sure that its all a game to Daniel Santos, and the pictures found at the hideout prove they could have killed Philip long ago.

Logan waits for Rachel to get home, tense as ever. Rachel arrives, and Logan wants to go to Jamaica. He tells her to get her passport and pack a bag, before she’s too pregnant to fly. He wants to book the trip for tonight, and it takes Rachel a moment to see that he is serious. She tells him to book it next month and she’ll take the time off.

Philip arrives at the Gallery, and Diane asks him where he’s been. Elena has called so many times. Philip stayed at a hotel the last night, everything with Elena is all fuzzy. She thinks that the gallery scuffle was to blame, but he tells her that he fought with Elena about Clay, who isn’t her cousin.

Elena panics when she learns of the photos. She asked how long they’ve been watching her. They have been working on this for at least a year, and he tells her about Malcolm’s ring. Clay wonders if James Williams is really Daniel Santos, but Elena tells him that Philip didn’t know Santos at his sister’s wedding which was after he was hired on the wolf video campaign, so either Williams was hired or he’s another mutt. Elena doesn’t understand the end game, but its pretty simple. They want the pack destroyed, and Elena.

Victor stuffs his face, completely insatiable, while LeBlanc and Santos wait for Marsden. He fills them in on everything, including his run in with Rachel. The pack is in a frenzy, and its almost time, which makes Santos glad. They’re driving his crazy. He thinks that LeBlanc and Victor will do what he says. He pushes Marsden around telling him to stay with LeBlanc. Santos may be pushing the wrong wolf, but he goes for now.

Elena questions Clay’s theory, since LeBlanc did try to kill her, but LeBlanc is a psychopath who they lost control of. Clay is more concerned about Santos. He planted the video, knowing that if Philip figured out Elena was a wolf, they’d have to kill him, and she would resent the pack for it. He tells her that if she walks away now, then she takes his leverage. For a pretty boy, he’s very smart. Elena can’t do that. Philip returns, wanting to talk to Elena, not Clay.

Santos walks down the street when a car pulls up. The person inside the car is the one running the show. He wants the pack all dead, but tells Daniel he’ll get his prize.

Elena goes to the bedroom with Philip, and Philip asks why she lied to him. She didn’t know how to explain everything so she lied. He’s the kindest man, and she didn’t want to bring the turmoil of her past. She tells him that she wasn’t with Clay when they got together. The calmness, the family, everything that he is, that’s what she wanted, but she fears her past will take it all. He asks her if she still wants that, and she does. He asks about Clay. There are worst things in her past that Victor Olsen she tells him, people who want to hurt her, and that is why Clay is there. Philip tells her to call the police, but she can’t. She’s still trying to protect him, but he cannot believe the craziness of her story. She needs him to believe though, and he needs a minute alone. She goes.

Rachel makes a meal, but Logan still wants to leave. He tells her that they have to get out immediately, that their lives are in danger. He urges her to back a bag, and she’s scared, but still not moving.

Nick watches the FBI agents from the window, while Jeremy busies himself with paperwork. Clay is getting restless in Toronto, and Nick doesn’t blame him with Philip. Nick wonders if the rules are too lax with Elena and Logan becoming too wrapped up with humans. Jeremy tells him that his father urged him to relax the rules after Clay bit Elena. He asks what Antonio whispered to him before he died. He told him his mother’s name.

Clay still cannot get ahold of Logan. She tells him that he’s worried about Rachel and the baby. Clay knows that they cannot wait any longer, and tells her to prepare her goodbyes. Elena goes to the door, but can’t go through it, she makes a stop in the bathroom to catch her breath. She takes off the pendant that Philip gave her and leaves it on the counter. Elena goes to see Philip. He was trying to get his thoughts together. She tells him that he waited long after most men would have given up, so he doesn’t have to say anything more. He was trying to think of everything that he knows about her, how she closes her eyes to listen to the rain, how she cries at happy endings more than sad ones, and when they sit together and tucks her hair behind her ear she’s about to rest her head on his shoulder. He realized that he only knows the small things about her, but he wants to know the large ones too. He wants more, and he’s willing to leave to move anywhere for her. No one has to know where they’ve gone, but Elena tells him that he cannot, that he would never see his family. He loves her, and he says that there is nothing she could say that would change that. He drops on his knee to propose. She kisses him, but she cannot give him an answer. She runs with tears in her eyes, and Clay is outside. He didn’t hear any of it. She slips out while he has his back turned.

The sheriff tells Jeremy of a break. LeBlanc was sighted, and the FBI is packing up. She thanks him for his cooperation. He tells her that with his work he needs his privacy, but thanks her for everything. She wishes they had met under better circumstances, and he tells her that they still might. Once gone, Jeremy tells Nick that LeBlanc may be in Toronto with the other mutts, they prepare to leave.

Elena comes to talk to Logan. She tells him that Nick and Jeremy are on the way, and Philip is with Clay. Logan wants to get Rachel away, but Logan needs to get Rachel away from the Pack. He owes everything to Jeremy, but he cannot take his child away from Rachel. Elena tells him she will do what she can, and she urges him to get his stuff together too. Elena goes upstairs to speak with Rachel. Elena doesn’t sugarcoat anything. She tells her that there are some bad people who want to hurt the family, and furthermore that their cousin wasn’t injured in a car accident, but murdered. Rachel worries about her family, about the baby. Elena tells her to trust Logan, that he knows what to do, that the family will clean up the mess and then they can come back. Logan still plans for Jamaica, Elena is going to Stone Haven. She tells him that once everything is over she will appeal to Jeremy. Logan doesn’t think that Jeremy will accept Rachel. Elena sees a new future, with new rules unless the pack changes. He thinks that maybe she should be alpha. He’s going to miss her, but she plans to keep in touch.

Philip wants to involve the police, but even Clay says that they cannot. He blames Clay for Elena’s involvement, and he doesn’t deny it. He admits that she fell in love with the wrong guy, that it hit them too fast, not exactly words the guy wants to hear after she walked out of his proposal. Clay tells him that he wanted to keep her out of his family’s business, that she wanted to get away, but couldn’t. He asks if Clay is still in love with her, but Clay tells him that it doesn’t matter. Jeremy’s call interrupts them for a second. He tells Philip that the family is coming soon, and Philip wants to come if she’s leaving. But clay tells him its not going to happen.

Logan continues to pack more. Rachel wants to call her sister, but he tells her that they can’t. Logan hears dogs barking, and Logan hides her in the shower. He uses her perfume to cover up her scent, pouring the bottle down the stairwell.

Elena back to her apartment. Her doorman tells her that she just missed her friends, and the cigar in his pocket fills her with fear.

Philip prepares to leave, but Clay won’t let him. He’s his responsibility he says. Elena phones Philip to tell him to get out, but its too late, Victor and Santos kick in the door. Clay keeps Philip behind him. Santos says that they just want to talk to Elena, and Santos taunts him, wanting to expose him. Elena begins shifting.

Marsden and LeBlanc come in the side door, and the perfume overwhelms them. Marsden cautions him not to be cocky, and they move to find Logan.

Clay tells Philip to stay out of it, and get out. Clay warns that once he kills Victor, he’s going to take his time with Santos. It’s an all out brawl, and Philip gets taken out early with a kick to the knee from Victor, and a stab to his side before Clay knocks Victor away from him.

Marsden searches a closet, when Logan springs on him with a garrote, choking him into unconsciousness.  LeBlanc heads upstairs though, and creeps towards the bathroom. Rachel is stuck and scared. Someone grabs LeBlanc back.

In the apartment Clay continues to take on both Santos and Victor while Philip holds his ouchies. Logan takes out LeBlanc, and drags him downstairs to use the garrote on him too. LeBlanc manages to stab Logan a few times, but Logan doesn’t let go until Rachel interrupts him. Insufferable woman, she’ll be the death of him.

Santos lands some heavy blows on Clay, but tying himself to Clay is a bad move, as Clay manhandles him. Philip decides to crawl away, smearing blood everywhere, and Victor stalks after him, knife in hand.

Logan throws LeBlanc from the house. Rachel asks Logan who the men were, and Logan sees that Marsden is gone. Rachel goes to his side, and her hand comes away bloodied. He tells her no ambulances, to take him to StoneHaven.

Victor closes the door, glad to be alone with Philip. As he plots which body part to cut out first, wolfy Elena strikes. She bites off his fingers, but he gets away from her, and she’s trapped in the room with Philip. Clay takes on both Victor and Santos, and Santos injects Clay with something. Without opposable thumbs, Elena can’t get out of the room. She looks over Philip, showing him what she is, but goes into the bathroom to shift back. She goes through the painful transformation, and if there was any doubt in his mind, she ruins it for him by coming out buck naked. Fear laces his expression. She does to check on Clay, and finds a quiet house. They’re gone, and only a syringe remains. Her apartment is trashed, but there is no sign of Clay. She runs back to Philip to call him an ambulance, he’s in shock. In a better world, she tells him, she would have married him. They would have gotten to share the small moments. She kisses him, she loves him, nothing will change that. He looks at her like she’s a monster, and she runs out.

Bitten Recap S1E10: Descent

Elena packs for Toronto. Clay tells her that it wasn’t his idea to accompany her, but he agrees that its not safe for her to go alone. Elena has an art exhibit, and she doesn’t want his to railroad her life. Elena wants to come clean to Clay, she was vulnerable and needed to feel safe, and it was a mistake for her. She tells him about Philip, and he already knew about him. The previous night wasn’t a mistake for him, and he tells her that he will do what he can to not railroad her life. He even switches his wedding band to his right hand. Poor Clay, he’s trying.

Joey has escaped, and he calls to Stone Haven. He tells Nick where he’s at, and he races to save him.

Logan apologizes to Elena and Clay. They tell him that Jeremy is worried about him, and he confesses that Rachel is pregnant, and that it is a boy. He’s avoiding pack law, until he received the gift. Clay tells him that he needs to tell Jeremy, but Logan fears what Jeremy will say or do. Elena urges Logan to contact Jeremy, that its more than just for the protection of the pack.

Victor spies on Elena, and he remembers his former victim well.

Logan tells Elena about the wolf video. He pauses before mentioning Philip, but Elena tells him to proceed. He spills about the ad campaign, and his cover story. Elena doesn’t like the skinny dipping with cover story, but points out that he was also curious about the pack picture. Elena thinks she can smooth everything over at her show.

Joey has made it back to Stone Haven, but he’s all over the place. He’s in very bad shape, Nick treats the dehydration, trying to reassure him that he’s safe, and that they will get revenge. Nick feels his pain, he too lost his father. Jeremy tries to get them to focus.

Elena takes Clay home, she needs to change, and tells him to not touch anything. He asks her how she plans to explain staying at a hotel, but before she can really think of a story, Philip comes home, and she has to introduce her “cousin Clay” to Philip. Clay does his best to be sociable. Philip invites Clay to stay with them, and Clay agrees, much to Elena’s dismay.

Daniel scolds Victor for not calling in. Victor gives Daniel the good news that Elena is back in Toronto, and that she looks the same. Daniel reiterates the deal, he gets revenge, but he doesn’t get to touch Elena. Although Victor tells him that he understands, Victor looks like he’s the touching type. Good luck controlling that mutt.

Philip makes up Clay’s couch bed. Clay questions Philip about his job, when Philip turns the tables on him, asking what he’s doing in Toronto. He’s looking at doing a lecture series. The conversation turns to Elena’s art, each man seeing what they want to in it, and Elena, uncomfortable makes off for bed. Philip follows, but Elena isn’t feeling frisky with their houseguest. Philip says he understands, but his body language says differently. They lie in bed but neither sleep, the distance too much between them. Clay looks around the table at some of Philip’s ad campaign stuff. He finds an iPad, and the wolf video. Clay tries to get more information on who commissioned the ad campaign.

Clay cooks up a big breakfast. Philip marvels at the home cooked meal, saying that Elena isn’t a fan of breakfast. Diane sends a message, and Elena goes to meet her. Clay plans on following, Elena invites Philip too, but he can’t come. After an extended goodbye, Philip thanks Clay for breakfast.

Jeremy questions Joey about the mutts. Joey tells them that he was supposed to be one of the mutt’s first victim. He ran and hid, and when he thought that they were gone, he found a payphone to call. They kept him drugged up so that he couldn’t change, and he was blindfolded before they released him for their little hunt so he isn’t sure where he was. He tells them the bits and pieces that he does remember, some overheard phone calls. None of the news makes Jeremy happy.

Diane waits at the art gallery for Elena, so happy to see her. Elena comes bearing donuts, and Diane considers indulging until she sees Clay. She likes what she sees, and Elena is grateful for everything that Diane is doing. Clay goes to help Logan and Rachel, and Diane wants all the details on the very sexy Clay. Rachel is doing the catering for the event, and goes to finalize the menu. Logan is freaking out a little bit about telling Jeremy about the baby, and Clay tells him that Jeremy will put the pack above all else, and whatever choice he makes, to make sure its one he can live with.

Nick pulls up a map of the nearby terrain, and draws a circle radius where the mutts are likely to be. There is nothing that sounds remotely like the place that Joey was held in that area. Jeremy points out that the story was very vague, and perhaps there’s a reason for that. Nick asks Jeremy what his motivation would be to work with the mutts. Jeremy wonders if Joey traded his life for the pack trust. Nick doesn’t believe it, but Jeremy tells him that they do not have the luxury of trust. Jeremy hopes that he’s wrong, but that when he awakens Nick is to press him for more information.

Daniel reiterates that Victor must control his impulses, that they aren’t there to rekindle old relationships. Victor tells him that he has no idea how it is to have a connection with someone that the entire world frowns upon. Daniel tells him that Elena is no longer a child, but she never was to Victor. She didn’t love him like a child, with a pure open heart. She testified against him, and he wants revenge.

Elena’s work impresses a large art buyer, Diane explains to Clay how big an opportunity it is for her, tells him that she hopes he’ll come to more of her shows. She’s clearly very interested in Clay, and embarrassed over her motor mouth. He eases her a little telling her that he use to teach anthropology at the college, but returning is a little complicated. She gives her condolences about their cousin Danielle, and he slips a little, before recovering as Elena listens in.

Jeremy talks to Joey about his father’s tracking ability. Joey tells him that he never wanted to leave the pack, but he feared being between Jeremy and his father Malcolm, that Malcolm had threatened him. Jeremy points out that Malcolm had been dead for months, but that he doesn’t begrudge him for fearing Malcolm. He was a bitter and vindictive man. Jeremy comes back to Joey’s father’s amazing tracking capacity, pointing out that only Elena’s surpassed his. He asks Joey, how his nose failed him so bad that the mutts were able to get close enough to kill him. Joey looks a little panicked.

Logan returns to Stone Haven. Nick is waiting, and he embraces him. Logan gives his condolences for not being there when Antonio died, but Nick isn’t holding a grudge. Logan tells him that he can’t leave Rachel and that he’s only there to talk to Jeremy in person. Nick tells him that Jeremy is in with Joey at the moment, and takes him to have a drink while he waits. Nick doesn’t think that he can possibly have that bad of news. Logan confesses that he’s going to be a father. Nick congratulates him, and gets him a special drink. Antonio brought some special whiskey back from one of his trips, and Nick thinks that this is a definite reason to celebrate. He tells Nick about the rattle, and that he was afraid of leaving Rachel alone if the mutts were around, that he was avoiding the pack because he can’t fathom the idea of taking the baby from Rachel, of never seeing her again.

Clay looks over some of the sponsors, and one of the name looks familiar. Diane has never met the man in person, he tracked her down on twitter. He’s a big fan of Elena’s work, and he orchestrated a lot of the affair, making demands. Clay tears himself away from Diane, concerned. He asks Elena if she’s okay, and she gushes, that she’s better than okay. He tells her not to underestimate herself. Philip swoops in, interrupting them, and Diane joins in too. She asks for Clay’s help, and he reluctantly tears himself away. Philip goes to get some champagne to celebrate, and Elena hears a frighteningly familiar voice. Victor is at her show, and she’s a little rabbit again. She asks him to leave, but her fear excites him.

Diane leads Clay into the parking lot to get more champagne, when he spots Daniel’s car. He leaves Diane with her hands full, and greets Daniel with a face full of steering wheel.

Elena thought Victor was still in prison, but he got out, after serving his time. He tells her that she was always his favorite. Philip spies Victor, and slams him into a photograph. He slugs him good, and Victor tells him that what happened to Elena was her own fault, that she never said no. Philip hits him a few more times, until Elena pulls him off Victor.

Clay has too many reasons to kill Daniel, his latest antics against Jeremy are reason enough. Before he can kill him, Diane comes and interrupts, giving Daniel a chance to get away. Clay tells her that he saw him hotwiring the car, and was trying to stop him. Daniel slows his getaway just enough to pick up Victor, as Clay can only watch. Clay takes her back inside.

Logan tells Nick that he’s proof a werewolf can be raised by a human mother, but Nick points out that not knowing what he was didn’t make it easier for him. That learning his secret so late in life was a shock, and then being forced to put that family behind him wasn’t easy. Logan admits that what he’s saying is true. Nick warns that the longer the child stays with Rachel, the worse it will be for all of them. Logan tells him that at least he had the benefit of being raised by his mother, and that his son deserves the same, and that’s what he plans to tell Jeremy. Nick opens up about his father leaving his mother. Antonio loved Nick’s mother that he never stopped loving her, but to protect her and the pack he had to leave her. There is a reason that the rules exist. Logan asks if he never thinks about her. And Nick answers “Vanilla.” Sexy has a light bulb.

Jeremy asks why the mutts went to his house. Joey tells him that the mutts wanted to know which side they would be on, and although his father said that they were undecided, they were always on the pack’s side, he was just trying to save his own life.
