San Diego Comic Con True Blood Party at Side Bar

Every night during Comic Con there is a party, but Saturday night is usually the busiest night. Everyone is in town, and there are far too many to choose from. We threw our dice and headed out to see what was happening at the True Blood Party.

Side Bar was transformed into Fangtasia for the evening, and there was already a crowd outside when we arrived. Ryan Kwanten was already inside when we got there, and the entry carpet was pretty quiet.

The door girls insisted that additional cast members of True Blood were set to show, but lets face it sleep is a premium luxury during Comic Con, and we were in desperate short supply. Before we left, Craig Kilborn stopped in, and he was nice enough to take a few pictures.

We saw Nelson Ascencio from the Hunger Games (Flavius) arrive.

But the highlight of the night would be to see the beautiful Lauren Cohan arrive. She stopped for a few shots on the red carpet, but didn’t take any pictures with the crowd.

So really the night was kind of a bust, and way past my bedtime.
