Three months earlier in the Sahara Desert, a little boy plays with his truck in the sand. Overhead he sees a flaming object fall from the sky (Sean's plane). He goes to investigate in the dark, with only a small light. He finds Sean's uniform name tag before something terrifies him.



Now. Claire looks over her son's drawings of his father. She asks when his report is, and he doesn't answer. She tells him that they don't have secrets, but they do. Big ones. Henry's friend Drill has fixed his hearing, and Claire suspects that her husband isn't dead. The door bell rings before she can get more details, and the lights flicker as she leaves. On the microwave is 111215, which is one of the tattoos on the amnesiac Sean's body.



Sean has a clean getaway from the hospital, though his appearance concerns some park parents. Perhaps he should consider atleast ditching the hospital duds. He makes his way into the trees where he's hidden a bag way up high. Inside of the bag are clothes and a strange looking knife.



Claire calls Rollins for more time. She needs him not to release the sketch, and he needs to know why. She's not shutting him out, but she can't explain at the moment. She tells him to meet at the hospital. Claire makes a call too Wes, but his wife is the one who sees it. He's come home early, and is asleep on the couch. Lena tells him that he needs to talk to Minx about her new friend, who knows way too much.



Minx is upstairs playing with her dolls and Drill when Wes comes up. He asks her about Drill, and where he heard the stuff about them. Minx tells him that Drill doesn't have parents, and that adults can't see him. Some kids can't either. Wes puts aside the talk of Drill and focuses on the topic of Mommy and Daddy. Things have been tense between them, but Wes promises that they love eachother, and that things aren't changing. Satisfied, Minx asks for her present. Her dad brought her back money from his recent trip, and together they put it on her map.



Claire sits outside waiting for Wes. She waits until he pulls out onto the road, and then she cuts him off. He didn't answer her calls, and she needs his answers. She needs to know if her husband is alive. Wes isn't sure. Sean's plane was found thousands of miles from where it was suppose to be. It looks like someone walked away, but he can't be sure it was Sean. Claire has something that Wes needs to see. She gives him the sketch of the man that was seen outside before the explosion that killed Jackson. Wes sees it looks just like Sean. If it is, and he survived and he's here, Claire doesn't understand why he hasn't come home. Wes tells her that if shouldn't even be talking to her about what he saw, it could be deemed a national security threat, and treason. Claire laughs about his sudden concern about rules, but he's broken too many and Lena has given him a second chance. Claire's second chance died when Sean's plane went down, and she's got to try to find him.



Sean heads to a storage locker. Inside there are pictures some of locations, some of young children like Harper, and Newspaper articles on the wall, all somehow linked to Drill.



Harper asks the Dr about her mother. Her mother isn't sleeping. Her father said that her spirit isn't in her body, and the Dr. is looking for her, but Harper knows that she's dying. She tells Dr. Maria that she won't be able to help her that her friend Drill told her that he was the only one who could.



Sean works to pull down everything from the storage room walls. Rollins thinks that they should get the sketch sent around as quickly as possible to see if someone recognizes it. Claire points out that they're at the hospital for just that reason. Sean hesitates as he comes to the picture of the tree house, and one of Harper. He takes the picture of Harper.



Claire goes to Harper, and she asks her if the picture is of Drill. Her father tells her to answer the question when she hesitates. Claire tells her that Drill isn't her friend that he's a bad man. Harper knew that she would say that, and she's incorrect, Drill is going to fix her mother. Her father tells Harper that its time to stop playing, that it isn't a game. But to Harper, it is a game, its the most important game of all, and she has to win. She asks Claire not to make her lose, she really wants her mother back. Claire tells her that she won't make her lose. She stops Dr. Maria, and then asks Harper if Drill told her that she couldn't talk to Dr. Maria. There's no rules against that. Claire asks Harper to tell Dr. Maria about Drill, and she starts too, but then stops. Harper doesn't think that this is right. Dr. Maria apologizes, but notices the sketch on the ground. She tells them that he was a patient, but he disappeared.



Wes sits with the Secretary of Defense. In the books Sean was just on a surveillance run. He was really out to test a new weapon. Just as he was about to test the weapon he disconnected his transponder, and they lost him. Wes knows that you can't disconnect the transponder on the F22, but the Secretary points out that he had to have had help. Which explains how he disappeared, and how he got from the Artic to the Sahara. Wes is tasked to find out how he survived, and who was helping him. Wes meets with his team, doling out assignments. Someone had to have seen something somewhere. He tells them that they are assuming that he survived, and he was seen outside of a complex before an explosion. One points out that they should start with his wife, but Wes has already talked to her. Another thinks that they should put a tail on Claire and Henry.\
Min plays a game with her friend, and she wins easily. The friend complains that Minx always wins. Minx has a game that she can win easily. She hands the girl a hard drive. All she has to do is print out the files, and not show anyone. The game doesn't sound fun to Violet. Minx insists that it is, and if she wins, then she'll get to see magic. Violet wants a preview, and Minx calls on Drill to show her a bit of magic. He talks to her through the electronic game, and Violet wants to know how she's doing it. It's magic, and Minx extends the game invitation again.



Claire and Rollins speaks with Dr. Maria. Sean had no memories of anything prior to the last three months. He gave no hints about knowing anyone since then, and she suspected that he was all alone. But when he was unconscious he spoke Arabic, and said they're searching for the lights. She doesn't know what it means. Sean is walking like a man on a mission, headed straight to a shop. The Arabic man inside gives him an envelope. Dr. Maria tells them that he was covered in tattoos. They were all different, one looked like a tree house. Rollins is sure that he is their guy. Claire points out that he's just a person of interest at the moment. Sean leaves the shop. Security footage is being pulled in light of the attack.



Claire sees the footage of Sean taking down a guard. He's military trained for sure. Claire's silence is too much, and Rollins shuts off the monitor. He wants answers. She's been acting weird since she saw the sketch, and he knows that she knows who he is. Claire admits that she thinks it may be Sean. Sean is suppose to be dead though. Claire tells him that last night they found his plane, but not his body. The man in the sketch isn't similar, but looks exactly like Sean. But the man Dr. Maria described doesn't. Sean doesn't have tattoos, doesn't speak Arabic, doesn't attack people. Rollins tells her that if she believed that she would have released the sketch. Claire needed more time. Rollins points out that gave the man more time on the streets.



Claire gives Dr. Maria her card, asking her to call her if she sees him again, and to not call the police. Dr. Maria tells Claire that he needs help.



Sean calls in. He had an appointment with Dr. Maria he tells the receptionist, and he's running late. He gets the her hours, and then dumps her SIM card.



One of Wes's agents finds some footage from a satellite from when Sean went down. He watches the stills and something isn't right about them he notices, and his agent confirms its not what he thinks moving. At his desk he gets a call from Lena. He runs home, and she had not choice but the let the agents in, they had warrants. He tells her to take Minx and leave, but she refuses. Wes goes to find out what happened. His server was accessed, and restricted files were downloaded against protocol. Wes wasn't even home at the time it happened. The FBI is taking his computer to see how someone could have gotten access. Wes asks Lena about it, and she's upset that he would think it was her. She realizes that he thinks she went on there to see if he was emailing Claire from his work computer. Wes insists that she has nothing to worry about. Lena asks him if he was contacting her on his work computer. Wes doesn't want to do this with a house full of people. Lena thinks that they already know about his affair anyways, since they were doing it at work. If Wes could change things he would, he just wants to get past this. Lena wants to not be looked like a terrorist, for things between them to be good, for Minx not to have this imaginary friend telling her crap, and she wants to believe him. Ever since he was with her things have gone wrong, and now she wants him to fix it. Minx tells them to stop fighting. She confesses that it was her, she went into the computer. She tells them that they should be yelling at her, before she breaks down in tears. Wes rushes to hold his daughter.



Claire calls her mother to make sure that Henry is inside. She tells her to keep him inside and insight, but not why. She notices Dr. Maria searching for her keys. Her keys and wallet are both missing. She heads back to check with security, and that raises a flag with Claire.



Sean heads though a gate, and to the Dr's home. He has her keys and wallet. He enters her house. Inside he begins to search through her belongings for something. He finds a gun hidden in a bag. He goes into her bathroom to take a shower. Milo has packed on the muscle, and you can see his ripped tattoo form through the shower glass. On his chest there are three tattoos, that haven't been explained yet, but one looks like a target of some sort. As he showers he begins to tremble as something overtakes him. He falls to the shower floor.

Wes goes to the lead investigator, Alex, and tells him that Minx accessed them. Alex doesn't really believe it, but its the truth, and it'll make them look as bad as him. It's a little personal for Alex. Wes was a good agent before he left. Alex didn't like what Wes did to Claire. They all knew that she had a shaky home life, and he thinks that he took advantage of her as her superior. Wes doesn't want to do this in his home, and Alex doesn't plan on dropping the case. From the second floor Lena hears it all.

Sean scrambles out of the shower, searching for something and begins drawing on the floor. Claire arrives outside of Dr. Maria's home, and arms herself.

Wes gets a call about Claire's location. He heads straight there, but advises his agents not to approach until he arrives.

Claire quietly enters Dr. Maria's house, looking for signs of Sean. She hears a squeaky hinge and heads upstairs. He's already making his way out of the window as she enters the room. Claire gives chase, and Wes sees her. He calls to her, but nothing is stopping her from chasing after Sean. He tears through the crowd and manages to evade her for a moment, but Claire spots him again. She runs after him, but at another intersection she loses him for a moment. The two make eye contact across a street, but when a bus passes he vanishes. Wes catches up in his car. He asks if she saw him, if it was Sean, but Claire tells him that she's unsure. She never got a good look at him.

Harper's father is called back to work, but he doesn't want to go. His family needs him. Harper looks over her mother. She calls to Drill. He told her that he was going to help her, he promised. Harper's mother's eyes flutter, her vitals get better. She's not awake, but she's improving. Harper asks what's next.

Henry sits watching TV, with the sound on. He calls out to the TV answering it. Grandma hears the TV, which is unusual since he's suppose to be deaf, and she heads up to see what the voices are. She asks him who is there, who is talking. He tells her that its just the TV, but she's suspicious. She turns off the TV and tells him to get to bed. The TV comes back on with nothing but static. Henry gets scolded by Drill, he apologizes since his recovery was suppose to be a secret. Henry gets in closer, staring into the screen.

Wes gets an update on Sean. They've ran through all facial recognition programs, still no hits. Claire has gone back to Dr. maria's but Wes doesn't think she needs to be brought in.

Minx takes a little walk down the slowly darkening street, thanking Drill. She doesn't want to be home anymore.

Sean watches Dr. Maria in the garage.

Claire searches for what Sean was doing in Dr. Maria's home. She finds his sketch on the floor and takes a picture of it.

Minx goes back to the tunnel at the playground. She looks over a map, a maze according to Drill. It's a wiring schematic.

Dr. Maria gets into her car, and Sean in there with her gun. He needs her to take him somewhere. On his arm is a brand new tattoo, the same Guillotine looking drawing as on the floor at Dr. Maria's.

The Whispers has probably one of the scariest teasers, especially if you have children. What if your child's imaginary friends weren't so imaginary, what if they were deadly? The series is finally here, and its goosebump inducing to say the least.

The first little girl that we're introduced to is Harper. She's young and cute as a button, and she's got an imaginary friend named Drill. She complains that her mother never listens, that she's always on the phone, and her father is a scientist, away on a trip. Drill wants to play a game, and Harper is all for it. Harper goes out to the tree house and calls her mother over. Her mother doesn't like that Harper is so high up, and has no choice but to go up after the girl. Harper tells her mother that she won't go down until the game is done, and to step on the X. She does, and falls through the floor. She did what Drill had asked, but it seems that Drill is no longer there. Harper looks into hole at her fallen Mommy, pleading for her to wake up not that the game is over.

Claire cheers on her son during his baseball game when she gets called into work. She hasn't been there for months, but agrees to come in. After running across home base Claire tells her son, and he thinks that she should go in. It's been months since a tragedy hit their family, and its time for her to go back.

Back at work Claire turns heads, but heads straight to her director's office. Her reputation proceeds her Rollins says. Claire looks over the pictures from the crime scene. Claire isn't sure that a small child could have done it. Their time is short, the grandmother has given permission to question Harper, but her father will return from his trip soon. Claire heads out, and Rollins gets called back for a moment. The Director knows that there has been talk about Claire, but its the people talking about him. She just lost her husband, but she'll rise to the occasion, and he hopes he will too. Rollins understands loud and clear.

At the park, a little girl, Minx, shows off for her mother, Lena, as she chats with a friend on a park bench. Gymnastics has been paying off for Minx, but the piano lessons haven't for her friend's son, Noah. The friend asks about her relationship. Lena's husband is away on a new job, he's a defense contractor. She's not really sure what he does, but at least he's not around their daughter anymore. The friend is surprised that she stayed, but Lena still loves him.

In Africa, a group of men meet with an African General. It's a pretty hostile situation, but their questions will soon be answered.

Claire sits down with Harper, to find out about her game. Harper isn't suppose to say. Claire tells her that its a safe room, and she's allowed to say anything. Harper tells her that Drill told her that adults wouldn't understand. Harper can't see Drill either, but he speaks through the lights. He said that they would have a domination. Harper struggles with Drill's big words. She thinks that he told her the answers to the questions but she doesn't remember the answers. Drill has left her for now, the game isn't over, and he's out looking for a new friend.

Minx on the playground has become Drill's new playmate. He talks to her in the wind, asking if she would like to play, and she does.

Rollins asks what Claire thinks, if they should turn her back over to the locals. Claire thinks that things feel off. The little girl has obviously been coached. The father arrives to pick up Harper. Claire wants more time, but Rollins doesn't think that there is a case. The Director wants clarification. Claire runs after Harper, taking a drawing asking if the picture is Drill. It isn't. She believes Harper that Drill is real. Harper tells her that there was another boy, but he couldn't win the game. Claire looks in the FBI database for anything that links it to another crime. Rollins thinks that she's wasting her time, it was a crime of a disturbed mind. Claire doesn't think that Harper fits that bill. She finds a similar case where a little boy detonated a bomb and killed himself, the mother survived. It was believed that he was under the influence of an entity named Drill and they were playing a game. Rollins thinks this may be a copycat, but Claire knows more than a little about kids, and it doesn't work that way for ones so young. Their connections are sacred. Most kids know that imaginary friends aren't real, but not Harper. She's sure of the opposite. She's not sure how, but someone is getting these kids to do these acts,

Minx plays in a tube, and a boy asks if he can play. She confers with her imaginary friend and agrees to let him. He runs out of the tube screaming, wanting to leave immediately. Lena goes to find out what happened, but Minx won't talk.

The man that was outside of Harper's house struggles to write a note, on it is Minx's name. He collapses.

The men get questioned about the property that the African General has seized. They can't talk about it. The wind whips up, something is happening. A geologist is outside, they have to show them something. The storm knocks out the lights outside, as they suit up and to take a look at something. The general brings them to see a ship that they've found. The men move to get a closer look. Wes goes to reach out an touch the thing, and gets a little shock. The lights come back on. The airplane is stuck inside of the rock, it looks like it was grabbed right out of the sky. Wes sees what looks like deep footsteps walking away.

Claire asks Rollins what the office is saying about her. He kneads him until he answers her. It's a little suspicious that she took a leave of absence right before her husband died, the same time that her sister did. She asks what he thinks, Marriage is complicated. She asks how long he's been divorced. His divorce isn't official yet. He asks about her son. He lost his hearing, and then his father. Claire and Rollins are brought to see Ms. Bellings. Claire tells her that a little girl thought she was playing a game with Drill and hurt her mother. Ms. Bellings says nothing. Claire sits down next to her, people say that it will get better, but what does that mean. She tells her what her mother told her about grief, and how to get through it. Her husband was killed 3 months ago in a plane crash, that brings Ms. Bellings out of it. She gives her condolences. Claire understands loss, but not what she's going through. She has her son and she can't imagine what she'd be like if she lost him. Ms. Bellings is what it would look like.

The man wakes up. He's labeled as John Doe. In his sleep he says something about time, about it being too late. They're searching for the lights. The Doctor has no clue what it means.

Claire asks what happened that day. She went to work, thought that Jackson went to school, but he was in the hall. Jackson told her that he thought that he was doing a bad thing, that it wasn't a game. He ran into the supply closet, and then.... He told her about Drill, but she just got mad. She thought that he was too old to be playing such games. Claire thinks that Drill is real, that someone is behind it. Ms. Bellings remembers that there was a man across the street, that he was watching. She describes out John Doe. He was covered in tattoos, weird ones, like a treehouse. Rollins calls for a sketch artist. Ms. Bellings tells Claire to hold onto her son, to not let him go.

John Doe wakes up as Dr. Maria is looking at his tattoos, and panics. She gets him calmed down, telling him that she wants to help, but the man can't even remember his name.

At home Lena asks Minx again what happened. Minx doesn't think that her mother would understand. The boy probably freaked out because he's turning. When kids get a certain age, they being to turn, to think too much about stuff. She'll never turn Drill has told her. Lena is impressed by her artwork, which looks like the White House, and a suspicious plane. Minx tells her that that is where the light comes from. Lena thinks that her father will like it, but not Minx. Drill has told her that her father doesn't care. He did something bad, but Lena is pretending it didn't happen. Lena wants to meet the friend, but Minx says no. Lena calls Wes and leaves him a message. She tells him that Minx knows what he did. Minx thinks its confirmation that Wes doesn't want to talk to Lena when he doesn't answer.

Wes goes to check his messages, but gets interrupted. Peter shows him what he's found about the plane. It was to find classified information, but it lost control around the artic circle. There is no way it should have made it to the desert, with how much fuel it carried. Wes looks further, he knows the pilot.

John Doe can't remember his name, all that information feels like its just out of reach. He's dreaming, but he doens't know what they mean, only that they're important. Dr. Maria tells him that when he was sleeping he was speaking in Arabic. John Doe doesn't speak Arabic. Dr. Maria tells him what he said, but it doesn't mean anything for him. She orders a CT scan. He looks at his tattoo, and then the clock and zones out. The Dr. snaps him out of it. He thinks something is about to happen. Little Harper stands watching. She's looking for her friend. The Dr. offers to have a nurse help her find him, but Harper knows she won't be able to help, but thinks John can. Creepy.

Claire returns home, and she's happy to see her son. It was kind of nice to be back at work, but she missed her son. They missed eachother, and they missed his father.

Lena gets ready for a bath, when the lights go out. She checks outside and the lights are on out there. Her lights come back on.

In Minx's room, her robot toy goes crazy, waking her. She doesn't want to play right now, but the game never stops. She heads down the night lighted hall, and follows a light up truck. When it stops she heads upstairs to the office. She goes on her father's computer, and she knows his password to log into his military account. She waits for more instructions from Drill.

Dr. Maria goes to check on John Doe. He's not at his tests, she calls for security to find him.

Harper and her father sits by her mother's bedside.

Claire looks over her case when she receives a sketch from Rollins. While she waits for it to open she notices one of Harper's drawings. Claire cannot believe her eyes. She grabs a magazine, and the picture is similar to the magazine spread. She gets a call, and thinks that its Rollins. It isn't. It's Wes. He has something to say about Shawn, but Claire doesn't want him to even say his name. Wes wants the past behind him as much as she does. They found Shawn's plane, which Claire thinks is impossible. Wes has more news, Shawn's body isn't inside, he may not be dead. He should be considered missing. Wes has to go, but Claire needs more information, her mind reeling. She sees the sketch that was sent over by Rollins, its her husband, its Shawn, its Mr. John Doe.

Shawn runs the halls of the hospital.

Wes gives the president an update. He talks about the rock they found, the petrified lightening, and shows him what a typical formation looks like, and then theirs. The heat from the plane did not cause it. No one is talking, no one is saying anything. It could have been weapons testing. The president doesn't understand how anyone could have survived. Wes isn't sure, but he wants to stay to investigate further. The president calls him home, there is something he needs to know.

Henry sits looking out his window. He can't believe it he says, that this is the best present. He thanks Drill for fixing him. Drill wants him to keep it a secret and he will. He tells Drill that he loves him and goodnight.

The death of a beloved monster is always a sore, but never a surprise. A carney's life burns brighter and stronger than most Elsa says. Pepper lays on the body of Salty as Paul tries to tell her that he's gone, and just a body now. She doesn't move. Outside Elsa tells Eve she understands the death of Pepper's soul with the death of her other half. Eve is concerned that the body will soon start to smell, but she won't give up the body. Elsa brings Pepper something to eat. Most pinheads die before the age of 40, so his passing was not a surprise. Poor Pepper found him in his state, tried to shake him awake, and grieved ferociously. He died in his sleep. Pepper never mistreated him or took advantage of him. Elsa worked hard with Salty to try to get him to communicate, Pepper could, but never Salty, Elsa laments as she removes her makeup. Stanley points out that the look of suffering is marring her face. Elsa doesn't appreciate his remarks. Stanley has something she will appreciate, a telegram from the TV producer they've been waiting for. Until then, Stanley suggests she get some rest. Elsa can't rest though, Pepper needs her though. Stanley asks that she let him take care of Pepper as he has her. He wishes to cremate Salty, and give Pepper a beautiful urn, but Elsa refuses. She knows Pepper would want Salty to have a proper burial. Stanley presses. Stanley is in his barn with the body of Salty, cutting his head off. The head is sent to the museum and preserved next to the body of Ma Petite.

Desiree reads a book to Pepper. Dell finds Pepper on her lap as she continues her book. It's utterly beautiful. Dell tells her that she will make a great mom someday, and asks to talk to her in private. He's made mistakes, and he wants another chance. She saved his life, and he's saved hers, but this is their chance for both of them to be truly happy. Desiree goes to leave to get ready for the show, but Pepper wants her to stay. When she won't, Pepper throws a tantrum. Desiree watches, but gives her some tough love, telling her to clean up her mess. Desiree reports to Elsa on Pepper. Elsa tells her that Pepper has known nothing but abandonment her entire life, until Elsa found her. Desiree wonders what they will do with Pepper when Elsa leaves, she's likely to kill herself. Elsa cannot have that happen, they need to rouse her spirits. Elsa tells Desiree the beginnings of the Freakshow.

When she came to America, Hitler was on the verge of war, so Elsa hid her accent and worked as a chorus girl, but she was never good at working for someone else. She was drawn to the freaks though. With war around the corner, and the men going away, who would be left to entertain? It would be the freaks. So she started her own collection of oddities. She went to the place where people throw other people away, the Orphanage. That was where she found Pepper. Pepper had never knew her father, her mother had died, and her sister couldn't handle her. Orphanages usually never took in eighteen year olds, but she had the mind of a child. Elsa didn't need to adopt her, they happily let her go. With Pepper she was the first one that Elsa truly loved. After her first performance, she knew that Pepper was a keeper. From there, Elsa grew her freaks. Pepper grew, and her material streak grew as well, but Elsa couldn't let her breed.

Elsa didn't know what to do until a Maharajah came to visits the freaks, and Elsa laid eyes on Ma Petite. She knew immediately that she had to have her. He refused to part with her, until Elsa offered him three cases of Dr. Pepper. She had never seen Pepper so happy. Her maternal needs were filled, but she wanted more. She longed for a companion. Elsa wrote every orphanage, until finally she found Salty. It was love at first sight for them. Elsa officiated their wedding. The bride and groom knew six words between them, but it was still moving, and everyone in the freak show celebrated. Salty and Pepper were very happy. Ma Petite was their child, and Elsa their fairy godmother. It was a love story for the ages, they never sinned or hurt anyone.

Desiree throws back her drink. Pepper has lost everyone she loved. Desiree desires to find her sister. Pepper has grown up, she's no longer the handful that she was. Elsa glumly admits that she may be right, that it may be time for her angel to return home.

Maggie twirls Jimmy's card between her fingers. She takes a deep drink from a bottle, as Desiree comes in with her Beau for a reading. Maggie asks where she picked him up at, and Desiree caught him with the twirl of a pasty. He asks her to tell him their future. Maggie looks for clues, and sees that he's a traveler, a door to door salesman. He's a romantic, and she sees a white picket fence in their future. All the lovey dovey gets to her though, and she gives them a reading where their love turns sour. Desiree and her man leave, claiming that they don't believe in her power anyways.

Outside on the carousel Maggie sits wallowing in alcohol and misery. Desiree confronts her about the reading she gave, obviously a reflection on the horrors of her own love life. Its right, there isn't anything she can do for Jimmy. She admits to Desiree that she's no fortune teller, that she and Stanley are on the griff and that he's no talent scout. She tells her that they're business partners have been for years.

1941. Maggie was selling papers as Stanley watched her, picking pockets all the while. One officer caught her, but Stanley quickly stepped in with a tale. Stanley offered her a partnership then, ten cents on the dollar. Back then it was big money. Maggie didn't have parents to protest, and Stanley took good care of her. Desiree asks what she could want with freaks like them. Maggie claims that she was picking the pockets of the customers. Desiree doesn't believe her for a moment. She notices that there have been a lot of trouble in the show since she arrived, that a lot of them have been dying. Maggie lashes out, asking if she wants to hear that she killed them all. Desiree warns her that if she finds out that she had anything to do with their deaths that she'll kill her as well.

Maggie returns to her tent to find Dot and Bette waiting for her. She's not in the mood for company. Bette tells her that they don't have much, but they've been saving their money, and they want to give it to her to get Jimmy a lawyer. Maggie tells the girls to get a lawyer themselves, that he may even reward them with a kiss. Dot wants to punch Maggie in her face. Bette tells her sister to let her handle this. Bette paints a picture of triumph, but Maggie doesn't see the silver lining. Dot snaps. Jimmy may think that she walks on water, but she sees the real Maggie and she's a phony. She doesn't love Jimmy, if she did, she would do anything to save him. Bette points out that Jimmy could end up like Meep. Dot throws the money at Maggie, telling her to do right by Jimmy.

In jail, Jimmy gets a visitor, its Stanley, and Jimmy isn't exactly enthusiastic. He was hoping for someone else. Stanley knows how he's feeling though, he lost his mother too, and he got into some trouble too. He asks Jimmy if he did it, but Jimmy is sure he didn't. He drank a lot and blacked out when he got to the house, but he's sure he didn't do it. Stanley didn't think that he did, and so he's getting him a good lawyer, the son of one of the best ones. Stanley tells him that he owes him nothing, but the lawyer will need a retainer. Jimmy has no money, and nothing of value. Stanley walks away. Jimmy is left frustrated when Stanley comes back. He may have an idea of how to raise money, and judging from the direction of the camera Jimmy may be pimped out again.

Desiree prepares a grand feast. She's working on a pot roast. Maggie mocks Desiree for her Betty Crocker act. Desiree points out that if she's gonna be a home maker she needs to make sure her man doesn't starve. Her mother taught all her sisters how to cook but not her. Desiree tells Maggie to stop buttering her up, she still remembers what Maggie confessed, and she still hasn't decided what to do about it. Maggie finally wants to do the right thing. She takes Desiree to talk in private. Maggie wants to help Jimmy. Desiree tells her to get him a lawyer. She tells her that everyone in the camp will be dead soon, and she just needs to connect the dots and find the culprit. She knows that Desiree wants to ride off into the sunset and forget all about everything, but Maggie needs her to see something first.

Elsa sips coffee as she sits with Pepper and her sister. It's an awkward sitting, she thinks that Pepper remembers her leaving her at the orphanage. She thought she would never get married or have children if she had to look after her dimwitted sister. Rita never had children. Elsa thinks that's all the better. She's taught her many things, how to speak, make cocktails and take care of herself. Rita doesn't think that she can keep her sister, she's never told her husband that Pepper has even existed. Elsa tells her that she thinks that Pepper is a burden, but she is not she is a gift. Rita mutters that her husband will be upset, but Elsa tells her to man up and stand up to him. Her sister has experienced a great loss, and Elsa fears that she will perish if she is not with family. Rita reluctantly accepts her sister, even though she knows her husband will be upset. Elsa goes to say her goodbyes. She and Pepper have been together for a long time. Elsa tells her that no matter how far apart they are, that they will still be family. She knows that Rita and Pepper don't know each other anymore, and that Rita will make mistakes, but she means well. Elsa kisses Pepper's hand, and tells her that whenever she misses her, to hold her hand to her cheek. Elsa leaves poor Pepper behind.

Maggie takes Desiree to the museum. She tells her that she needs a witness for when she calls out Stanley, so that someone will know the truth if he kills her. Desiree is beside herself when she see Ma Petite's body. Maggie admits that Stanley got $3,000 for her. They see Salty's head on display next, but when the newest display is shown Maggie faints. It's Jimmy's hands.

Rita sits down with Sister Mary Eunice. She tells her that she and her husband gave everything. Massachusettes 1962. Sister Mary Eunice asks for the reason for confinement. Rita tells her that she always wanted a baby, and right before her 50^th birthday she experienced great pains. Her husband rushed her to the hospital, and she was told she was in labor. The baby was deformed, but she considered him a miracle. She was confined to her bed. Pepper was happy to help take care of the baby at first. 

Rita sat in bed as Pepper did everything, including making Martini's. Rita made her take the baby with her as she made her drinks, not wanting to deal with the baby at all. She blames the missing gin on Pepper, when she was drinking it in reality. Her husband came home, upset about the baby's crying, and Pepper sitting around. She sent Pepper downstairs and her husband would follow. He couldn't wait to get alone with her, but Rita claimed it was Pepper who was obsessed with her husband. 

 Sister Mary Eunice tells her that truthfully a lot of patients suffer from lack of inhibitions but the shock therapy and caning help with that. Rita asks if it helps with the murdering. Sister Mary Eunice asks for clarification. Rita tells her that none of them saw what happened thankfully.

Rita was getting ready to go out, she wanted to dance and have a night out with her husband, but he was worried about Pepper being left alone with her baby. He hated Pepper and her lack of smarts. Rita feels the same way. She hates being left alone with the two of them. Her husband thinks that they're on the same page, and he wants her to admit that she never bonded with the baby. She never did, but she could never kill her sister. He has a way to kill two birds with one stone.

 Rita tells Sister Mary Eunice that she was with the baby all day at the park, and exhausted, so she asked Pepper to give him his bath. Pepper bathed the baby and her husband came from behind and took Pepper from the room. She banged on the door, trying to get back in while he killed the baby. Once done she let Pepper come back in. She screamed. Rita claimed that she ripped his ears off and drowned the baby then went down to watch her show. Pepper was taken away in a straight jacket as Rita screamed blaming her. Pepper was taken to the asylum. Rita claims that Pepper ruined her life, and asks that she never be released.

Pepper cries in the corner, banging her head on the wall. Sister Mary Eunice warns her that self pity will get her no where. She removes the jacket from Pepper, to get her into decontamination. Pepper cries about the baby. Sister Mary Eunice tells her that what she did made her sick. She looks into Pepper's eyes, and thinks that she sees redemption in her eyes, and hugs her close. Sister Mary Eunice takes her into the library to have her help tidy up. She thinks of her as her special project, and hopes she'll be able to work in the bakery with her soon. Pepper cleans up the magazines, and finds one with Elsa on the cover, which brings her a smile and a bit of happiness.

The final American Horror Story of the season opens with a Stevie Nicks music video for her song “Seven Wonders” as all the girls work on mastering their skills for their upcoming tests. All of the girls seem to be excelling, so who’s going to come out on top? My guess,is none of them.  Stevie wishes them all good luck and walks out the door. Four enter the arena, one will leave.

Mytle feed the girls as a sort of last meal. The Supreme’s final job is to appoint her successor, but Fiona skirted many of her duties, including this one. Never in the history of the coven have they ever had to test so many girls, but since Fiona instead tried to murder her successor, the girls get to prove themselves.

They start with Telekinesis, and although the Misty struggles at first, the all pass with flying colors. Next is puppet mastery. Misty makes Queenie slap herself around, and Queenie gets back at her with a little hair pulling. Madison uses Kyle as a toy to not only kiss her, but lick her boots, and Zoe also uses him as a puppet. The next is to astral project, Queenie should have an advantage she just did this last week with Papa Legba. Queenie sees her hell with chicken again and returns quickly. Madison comes back next with a bit part in the Sound of Music. Zoe has a break up loop. The only one to not return is Misty, stuck in grade school dissecting the poor frog she just brought back to life in a unending loop.

Misty doesn’t make it back by sunrise. Cordelia wants to help her, but Myrtle tells her that she has to make it back on her own. I knew the swamp witch wasn’t the supreme. Her time expires and she turns to ashes in Cordelia’s arms.

And then there were three. Cordelia wants a moment of silence, but Madison wants to hurry things along, but even Zoe agrees with her. The next task is Transmutation. The girls play a little game of tag, teleporting all over the place. Cordelia asks for caution, but none of the girls listen, and Zoe ends up skewering herself. Queenie tries to breathe life into Zoe, but cannot. Kyle is a wreck. Cordelia tells Madison to bring Zoe back taunting her, but Madison refuses unless she’s crowned Supreme. Cordelia plans to put Zoe back in the game when she’s back, but that’s not a stipulation Madison will allow. She smashes a fly in her hand, and brings it back, proving she did have the power.

Cordelia wonders how the coven has crumbled so much under her care, and how Madison would be an awful Supreme. Kyle mourns over Zoe. Cordelia sees that it was Madison this whole time and that Fiona saw it. But Myrtle finally sees that it was Cordelia this whole time, and tells her that she needs to perform the seven wonders.

Madison thingks its all a ploy to get her to fisinh the seven wonders, but its more than that. Cordelia lights her candle, makes Queenie dance,  and lifts the piano with no effort. She goes to astral project, I wonder what her hell is. Her mother? She returns home after experiencing trying to get her mothers approval. That was a pretty weak hell. She also passes transmutation. Madison joins the competition. Cordelia divines the location of her object quickly, but Madison at first refuses to do the task. She eventually does, threatening to take down the coven with the media. She goes to pack and leave, but Kyle finds her first and he’s not happy that she let Zoe die. He strangles her, knowing what she condemned Zoe to. She pleads with him, that she did it for them because she loves him, but he tells her that she’s not that good of an actress and moves to finish the job, all the while Cordelia is working to revive Zoe. She revives Zoe, but collapses. Kyle looks over Madison’s corpse, and Spaulding is checking out his new toy.

When Cordelia awakens she has her eyes back. She is truly the Supreme. I’m kinda disappointed. She opens up her house to an interview to talk about witches. Well, that’s one way to get new students in her school. Cordelia promises any girl who thinks she’s a witch a place to call home.

The applications come pouring in and Cordelia can’t be happier, but Myrtle tells her that now is the time a hard decision must be made, one to get the council on her side immediately. She has to burn Myrtle at the stake for her crimes against the other witches, the ones she de-eyed with a melon baller. Cordelia doesn’t want to put to death the only woman who has ever been a mother to her, but Myrtle wants her life to be given for something. Cordelia finally agrees.

In high style Myrtle leads the pack in red, the other witches in their usual black. Cordelia sentences her to death, and Myrtle says how proud she is of Cordelia before she gets torched.

Girls line up down the block all in their best black. Cordelia gives Queenie and Zoe a little pep talk, and she tells them that she wants them at her side as counsel in this new age of a more powerful coven. There’s one last thing she needs to do before she opens her doors to the new girls, deal with her mother.

Her mother didn’t actually die. She drugged the Ax Man and made him think that he killed her. She needed to know who the rising Supreme was, and the easiest way to do that was to force Cordelia’s hand with the testing, by making her think she was dead. It worked perfectly, but she never thought it would be Cordelia. She wants Cordelia to kill her to claim her rightful position. Cordelia embraces her powerless mother, but she tells her that she has to do it alone. Cordelia won’t kill her. Fiona lets it all go, and dies in Cordelia’s arms. Fiona awakens in the Ax man’s home as she promised to go, and she is not happy to learn that she died, and will be with him at the country house for all eternity. He’s done playing nice, when she slaps him, he slaps her back. He tries to get her to enjoy the fresh air, but she everything about the house upsets her. She’s stuck there with the Ax Man for all eternity. Papa Legba gets the last laugh.

Cordelia opens the door to a plethora of new girls. The house is once again full, and its not longer just surviving, but now thriving.

Some Creepy old Salem video on the successful passing of the seven wonders. The girl flies through all the acts, demonstrating her competence until the final one that kills her. I can’t wait to see our favorite witches perform the acts. Fiona talks to Queenie about it. Queenie thinks its all a scheme to expose the next supreme so she can kill her. She asks Fiona where Laveau is, but she doesn’t know exactly, assuming she’s off with Papa Legba. Fiona tells her that she will perform the seven wonders or die trying.

Cordelia, blind again, goes to speak to Madison about Misty. Cordelia worries that her second sight has not returned. Madison continues to manifest powers, but Cordelia warns her that witches powers tend to spike in times of need. Worried that Cordelia will see the truth, she avoids her touch, but when Cordelia questions her guilt, Madison allows her to touch her. Cordelia sees nothing.

Queenie continues to look for Laveau, but she finds nothing. She casts a spell to help her, and she finds herself the worst time of her life, but Papa Legba is there. She asks about Marie Laveau. He tells her her time is limited, she has to make it back, and she does. She wants answers after she’s shown her worth. Delphine continues to torture her. Queenie wants Laveau taken out of the equation, and proves she’s a crafty witch. Delphine takes on the role of tour guide, trying to change the opinion of her good name. Queenie pays Delphine a visit. Delphine actually believes that she’s a good person, and unworthy of the murderous title. She corrects the tour guide’s inaccuracies before wacking her over the head. Queenie offers her a second chance, to help the people she brutalized, but Delphine laughs. She refuses to be publically humiliated to right her wrongs, because its shallow and beneath her. She’s not sorry for what she’s done. Queenie was her weakness, but the world is harsh, and she will not be soft. Queenie goes with plan two, and stabs Delphine, to send her straight to hell.

Fiona sits for her Supreme portrait when she gets a sudden nose bled. Her cancer is getting worse, and when she sees her face in a reflection she wonders what she is doing here. Cordelia finds Fiona in her room, and she’s not pleased to hear that Queenie plans to do the seven wonders. Fiona cannot believe what Cordelia has done to herself, and tells her that the power is inside of her still. No one could take it away from her. She bestows something more on Cordelia, her mother’s necklace. She prepares to say goodbye, and when she places the necklace on her, Cordelia sees the future, where all of the girls are dead in one manner or another, even herself and Fiona is the only one left. Cordelia doesn’t give a clue as to what she saw.

Cordelia goes to see the Axeman. She warns him off on loving Fiona. Fiona only loves herself. She does confess to him that Fiona is going to kill all of the witches in the house. She also tells him that Fiona isn’t going to run away with him, that she plans to leave without him. Fiona hopes to regain her powers and then leave them all behind. The Axeman is brokenhearted by the news, and Cordelia tells him that’s what it feels like to get close to Fiona.

Cordelia tries to tap in further into her powers. She uses Misty’s belongings to locate her. She has Queenie help her to free Misty from the concrete tomb. Misty isn’t breathing, but Queenie breathes life into her. Oooh Madison is gonna be in trouble. Madison is at home, Myrtle tells Madison what Cordelia is up to. Zoe returns home with Kyle in tow, much to Myrtle’s dismay. They made it to Florida, enjoying their time in the sun, until a homeless man makes Kyle lose it and murder him. Zoe came back, bit because of Kyle, but because there’s no escaping what she is. Zoe revived the homeless man before leaving, and just tossed herself into the Supreme race. Misty returns home, and gives Madison quite the beatdown. Neither uses magic against eachother, but Kyle stops them from fighting when the Axeman returns to kill them all. He messed with the wrong witches. They take him down quickly before realizing that he’s covered in blood, Fiona’s blood.

Fiona went to visit the Axeman. He tells her that Cordelia paid him a visit. And he struggles with the level of betrayal she’s served him. She tries to play that Cordelia was lying, until she sees her flight printout in his hand. She confesses everything to him, he was nothing more than a distraction for her. If she kills the rising supreme, she’ll have 30 more years before the next one. He tries to prove to her that she loved him, but she proves that she felt anything but love for him, he was nothing more than a means to an ends. He hacked her up and fed her to the gators. Queenie wants to kill him, but Myrtle says that he did the coven a favor. Kyle steps in to kill him, but the girls all want their turn making him a pin cushion.

Delphine is locked in her own personal hell in her attic, which turns out to be her family hell. Her daughters are there too, and Laveau too. When she asks that one of her thirsty daughters gets a drink, Laveau slits her throat and feeds her the blood. This torture is too much for Delphine, as she has to watch her daughter’s tortured. Laveau awakens in midtorture. She refuses to hurt the girl, as she’s an innocent. Papa Legba sentences her to spend all eterenity in his hell. Laveau tells him that she cannot die, that they have a contract, but he tells her she can no longer perform her duties, and now its time to pay up. He reheats the brand, and sends her back to work. The girls hang the painting of Fiona, and they all speak shallow words of Fiona’s greatness. Cordelia cuts the crap, Fiona was a horrible supreme. She deems that since they must crown a new supreme, they will all be tested.

Past, Lalaurie arrives in New Orleans. As normal, she talks down to her slaves, and feels displeasure by everyone around her. Bouquita isn’t use to killing her meals, and in their finery Lalaurie separates the chicken from its head. As the blood spills over her hands, she relishes in its feel. She finds one of her slaves injured, and is fascinated by his blood. Her daughter asks if she should find the doctor, but Lalaurie has other plans. She gives him a rag to stop the bleeding as a distraction as she knocks him out. After torturing him, and spilling all sorts of blood, she finally sees the potential New Orleans has to offer.

The witches gather for Nan’s funeral. Myrtle wishes that Misty was there to bring Nan back. Queenie is back, and she’s not happy. She comes with Lalaurie in tow. Cordelia is just glad that Queenie is safe, but Fiona knows that they’re not safe at all, and leads everyone back hpme.

The Delphi Trust cover Hanks ties with them. Harrison Reynard isn’t happy that his son will not be remembered, but for now he knows that he needs the witches to set their company right, and then they’ll make them pay.

Fiona and Laveau plot against the Delphi Trust. Madison is her usual charming self non flushing of commodes, and Myrtle loses her shit over some soup. Lalaurie muses how she has fallen far in life as she tends to the witches. Fiona is getting weaker. Cordelia tries to regain her powers. And Lalaurie realizes what’s missing in her life, blood. The gardner comes with a cut hand, and Lalaurie  tends to him, tying him up, and clipping off his toes. She is really one twisted lady.

Zoe casts a spell where Nan died to see who killed her, while Kyle watches and she sees everything. Madison walks in on them, but she doesn’t care about Nan. She’s unhappy that Zoe has fallen in love with Kyle, and when he spurns her affections she throws a fit, letting her powers flare. Kyle has fallen in love with Zoe too. Myrtle comes to see what all the fuss is about, and Madison tells her she plans to bring the witches out of the shadows. Crotchless panties for everyone! And she leaves Kyle with a threat, she’s gonna pull him apart when she’s Supreme.

Fiona enjoys another dresses after another romp with the Axeman, while he plays for her. He makes summer plans, plans for their future. She can’t imagine herself on a farm though. But he wants to make her happy, and knows they need to kill the rising Supreme first and foremost. Fiona agrees to his deal.

Lalaurie bloodies up the gardner real good, when Spaulding appears to her. He appreciates her artistry. He wants to see her life with purpose again, and she sees the mess she’s made. He offers her release. Laveau is close at hand, and if she were to die she would be free. She asks why he cares, and he tells her that his loyalties lie to the coven, and even though Fiona may be under her spell, he knows she is poison. He tells her he can provide Lalaurie with the means to kill Laveau, but she has to retrieve something for him first.

Cordelia finds Queenie clearing out her closet. Although Cordelia is happy to see her back, Queenie doesn’t return the sentiment. She’s upset over every precievable wrong against her. Queenie too has picked up some new powers she tells Cordelia as she reveals how she killed Hank. She throws Cordelia out of her room, telling her maybe its time to let someone else lead the coven.

Cordelia goes back to her plants, trying to regain her second sight. She rubs the juice of the plants around her eyes, and then stabs out her own eyes. Oh my gosh, I really hope that helps her to regain her gifts otherwise that was such a waste!

Fiona heads to her daughter’s side but finds Myrtle in her path. She tells her that she took her eyes to protect the coven. Fiona claims that the only threat is from the outside and that she will handle them, but Myrtle knows different, she sees through the lies and is disappointed that she’s not crafting better ones. Fiona decides not to see her daughter afterall.

Lalaurie gets Spaulding the item he asked for a vintage doll. She finds his appetites for dolls unsavory and I have to agree with her. His rooms creeps me the hell out. Spaulding gives LaLaurie what she needs to disable Laveau, Benedryl. Oooh, someone has been played.

Myrtle gives Zoe a very special, very expensive necklace. She tells her to hock it in case of emergency. She tells her to take Kyle and leave the coven, but Zoe has no such plans. Myrtle had a love like hers before, but she lost hers. She tells Zoe that if she stays she will die. But Zoe is committed to the coven, even after Myrtle reminds her that she burned for her commitment, and that if she is the next Supreme its all the more reason to leave. She slaps some sense into the girl.

Fiona and Laveau arrive to meet with the Delphi Trust. The men ask if the ladies would like to search them, but neither show the least bit of fear. They have the upper hand and they know it. The Delphi Trust offer a hundred year peace treaty with the witches, but Fiona is playing hard ball asking for luxuries as  they’re locked in. Fiona turns down the offer, and the Axeman kills all of the members except Harrison. He applauds her coup. He tells her that killing them won’t put an end to the war, and she puts an end to Harrison herself. Back home, Fiona and Laveau celebrate, but Fiona leaves to celebrate with her man. Laveau has had a little too much to drink, and Lalaurie drives a knife through her. With Spaulding’s drugs in her system, she gives chase before passing out. Spaulding tells her that Laveau isn’t dead, she can’t die, but that she should bury her where she can’t dig her way out. With Laveau gone, he takes her pilfered baby as his new baby doll.

Zoe tries to pack up Kyle, but he’s stalling. He’s afraid that he’ll hurt Zoe or someone else. Zoe tells him that she’s not scared of him, and urges him to get ready to leave. The two of them make a break for it, and make their bus. That bus is so getting flipped when Madison realizes they’re getting away.

Marie Laveau gets comfort from Fiona. Her kindness has finally touched her soul, which after 300 years surprises her. The women have a lot to talk about, but not tonight. Fiona leaves her. In the dark a man appears, her master, Papa Legba, calls. Its time to pay the piper, he wants his payment, no matter how hard her day has been. He asks why she’s come to the white witches home, and she tells him that she’s looking for a lasting truce. He still doesn’t let her off the hook for what’s owed to him. Laveau heads to a nursery and steals a baby. Some police try to stop her, but she warns them not to mess with her, they don’t heed her warnings and she uses some crazy power against them, forcing them to turn their guns on each other.

Hank hits the news. Cordelia blames herself for Hank’s actions. Laveau tells her that this isn’t over, that Hank was a witch hunter. She paints an unflattering picture of him. She tells them that she hired him, but he did try to protect them from her. Fiona slaps her for her stupidity, and explains to both of them that witch hunters don’t work alone, they come from a long lineage that hunts both black and white witches.

Misty spins around, dancing in the mirror. She doesn’t trust Fiona one bit, and she shouldn’t. She tells Fiona that she has a plan to bring herself back if she tries to kill her. Fiona tells her that she’s the only one worth her magic, that one day she will rule the world. Misty is taken in by her words, and Fiona introduces Misty to her friend, who just happens to be Misty’s hero Stevie Nicks. Misty faints upon meeting her, which is just what Fiona expected.

Madison, Nan and Zoe are looking for Queenie. Nan and Zoe think she’s dead, Madison thinks shes stuffing herself somewhere.

Stevie sings an offkey version of one of her songs. The girls listen, and Fiona tells Madison that she isn’t the next supreme, but Madison isn’t giving up. Madison asks about the seven wonders, but Fiona is sure she will pass. Misty delights over Stevie, worried about her shawl spinning. Stevie gives Misty her own shawl, and wishes her good luck in her tests.

Madison isn’t happy about the lack of attention on her. Nan tells the girls that she could be the next supreme that her powers are growing, and uses a delightful little display on Madison to prove it. Zoe points out that Madison’s heart murmur knocks her out of the running for supreme, but the little trip to the afterlife fixed that problem.

Cordelia discovers her father in law, head of the Delphi Trust. Hank had no real customers, just a closet of lies. His name really was Henry Reynard, and their corporate headquarters are just a hop skip and jump away. Fiona plans a strategy to cut them off of their resources, but she refuses to let Cordelia help her with the magic. Laveau helps with her rat maze spell, and the Delphi trus finds themselves in trouble with the law. Fiona asks for strength, but finds hers gone.

Zoe fears Madison’s reign as supreme, Nan says she would use her powers for good. They go to visit Luke, but the nurse tells them that he died, and his body has already been taken.

Laveau cleanses Fiona’s room of evil spirits, but Fiona tells her that it isn’t spirits that is causing her illness, but the rising supreme. Fiona asks for the key to immortality, but Laveau tells her that she cannot give it to her. She sold her soul to Papa Legba for eternal life, and she made a deal she was not expecting. The price was high, and unexpected. She begged him to take the spell back, but he took her baby’s soul instead. He comes once a year still. She tells her that if she wants him bad enough he will come to her, but that she should forget him, not something she’s likely to do any time soon.

There’s a funeral parade and Madison and Misty take up the rear. Madison dishes out some hard facts, cynical as always, but Misty isn’t buying it exactly. Madison asks her to let her change her opinion. Madison goes to a grave to show Misty she’s just as powerful. First she puts two grave diggers in a trance, then she resurrects a body from the grave, proving that they’re bother powerful, and that Madison doesn’t want anything from her but friendship. Madison tells her to lose the shawl, to drop it into the casket, and let go of the illusion, be a butterfly. Misty is a dumb bumpkin. She prepares to drop the shawl, before she can change her mind and realize what Madison is really up to Madison bashes her over the head with a brick and tosses her in the grave. She releases the gravediggers to get back to work and dances off with Stevie’s shawl.

Nan and Zoe head over to Luke’s house to pay their respects and to get information on where his body is. Luke’s mother had him cremated, and Nan sees what she’s done. Nan loses her shit, and cleanses her.

Myrtle’s playing breaks Cordelia’s concentration. Her eerie playing soothes her soul. Cordelia breaks down, believing Fiona’s words that she has nothing to offer the coven. Myrtle tells her to buck up, but the more she talks the worst Cordelia feels. She makes a mess of her lab, and Myrtle goes back to playing.

The Delphi Trust lost their asses in a matter of minutes, but no one is willing to bail them out. They know there’s nothing natural about what’s happened, and focus their attention to dealing with the witches.

Fiona cuts up some coke, uses it as an offering in her cast. That crazy with is summoning Papa Legba, and he can’t resist her blow. She tells him that she doesn’t want to die, and he tells her he doesn’t care about her title, only her soul. He’s willing to negotiate with her, and she defines her terms. He has terms of his own, and she agrees to them all. He goes to seal the deal with a kiss, but calls it off when he sees she has no soul. The Axeman comes to her, ready to take down the rising supreme. But little miss soulless wants to take down all of them.

Zoe tries to cheer Nan but praising her power. Nan hears something, and finds the baby Laveau stole. Laveau isn’t happy to see the baby in Nan’s arms, and when she tries to take the baby Nan threatens to kill her like she did the neighbor. Fiona forces Nan to give the baby back, and tells her to leave. Laveau tells her that Nan is dangerous, and Fiona agrees. Laveau also warns her that her deal with Papa Legba will only get harder, and suggests that they kill two birds with one stone. They drown Nan to pay Papa Legba, although its not what he asked for, he accepts their offering. Nan isn’t upset over her death, just her wardrobe for the every after, but she happily goes with him. So I guess Nan won’t be the supreme.

Fiona pours herself and Stevie a nightcap as Stevie plays the piano, and there’s more singing. Is no one worried about Misty? Has no one realized that she’s gone?

Queenie takes a walk on the wild side, and kills her would be rapist in the name of voodoo. Zoe and Madison try to get her to come back to the coven, but Marie’s promised her more powers and Queenie wants to be on the winning side of the war that’s coming.

Fiona’s cancer gets progressively worse, and Cordelia took it all too well, if not bitterly because it wouldn’t be sooner. Only the axeman will more Fiona, as he makes lavish plans for the future, none of which Fiona wants, but she also refuses to end it all. She plans to find the rising Supreme and kill her.

Luke’s mother continues to hate the girls next door, even though they saved him. She plans on cleaning him inside and out, and it seems like Kyle’s mom wasn’t the only dirty one as she orders him to drop his drawers and step into the tub. Nan hears his cries, but she cannot do anything about it, as Cordelia calls a pow wow to destroy Fiona. They only have one shot to get it done. Misty comes a banging on their door, something has been chasing her. Her burnt up witch, Myrtle Snow, has crawled her way free, healed, and something is in the woods hunting Misty. Cordelia looks at Misty’s past, and offers her sanctuary. Misty didn’t come alone she brought Myrtle with her. Myrtle proclaims Misty the next Supreme, and that does not bring any joy to Cordelia.

Kyle wants a little cuddle time with Zoe, but she’s busy. Zoe sets him up with some educational shows, thinking that he’ll be able to rejoin society later while the girls are missing. The girls prepare to start the ceremony to make Misty the next supreme. Misty doesn’t want the job, but she doesn’t have much of a choice. The sacred taking ceremony has only been done three times in their history, and it requires the death of the current supreme as the ultimate sacrifice, which they plan on pushing her to. Fiona is feeling less than well, when she gets a visit from Madison, dancing around and being extra bitchy. Madison claims she brought herself back, and that she is the next supreme. Fiona tells her to leave, but her powers barely open the door. Madison gives her an ultimatium, she either burns at the stake and makes one heck of a weenie roast or she takes some pills and perishes in her sleep. Fiona chooses neither, but she has another visitor, Myrtle, who is spouting the same Supreme story. Fiona isn’t ready for death yet, and Myrtle paints the picture of her bleak future even if they don’t burn her at the stake, totally and utterly alone. Madison fills the girls on their progress to kill Fiona, and hurt Nan’s feelings when none of them think she could be the next supreme. She goes to find Luke, and finds him bound and gagged in a closet.

Fiona prepares for her end, getting all prettied up, and dressing in her furs, before she downs Madison’s pills. Myrtle steals all of Fiona’s jewelry before leaving, and Fiona awakens to Spaulding, Spaulding that died. These two reunited cannot be a good thing for the rest of the witches. Spaulding tries to help her expel the poison, death has brought him clarity, but Fiona doesn’t want it. She’s trying to do something right for once, but Spaulding blows apart the ruse and spoon feeds her his medicine. She expels the pills from her body, and bitch is back, and hell bent on some revenge.

Queenie pays Delphine a visit, and offers the poor prisoner some food. For some reason Queenie is surprised they’re not feeding her. And Delphine asks her to free her, for only a minute so she can stretch her legs. Marie catches her, and Delphine finds her voice, taunting Marie. Delphine is done cowering to this woman. She can’t die, and she no longer fears the box, but Marie has something else in mind. Marie takes Delphine’s out stretched hand, literally.

Nan and Luke try to make a getaway, but his mother has other plans, moving to stop them. Hank opens fire, killing Luke’s mother and injuring Luke, and all Nan can do is weep. She doesn’t have the power to heal him.

Myrtle plays depressing music, thinking its fitting, not realizing that Fiona is far from gone. Fiona makes her appearance wanting to see Misty, who’s next door at Luke’s house. He’s taken away in an ambulance, and Fiona makes Misty’s acquaintance. She wants to test Misty’s skill, and the death gives her the chance. Cordelia sees what no one else can outside, perhaps that it was her husband behind the killings? She finds a billet and she sees the killing, but not who as Misty brings back the mother. Misty falls to the ground, and Fiona rolls her eyes. Zoe is on edge with the witches under attack, which only makes FrankenKyle jumpy, and he tells her he loves her. She loves him too. How sweet.

Fiona carries on like everything is normal. Cordelia is ready for Fiona’s strike, but Fiona claims to be filled with hope for the future after their little coup, proud of Cordelia’s duplicity. The bullet is blessed and silver, from witch hunters. And the day just keeps getting better, the witches receive a package. It’s Delphine’s head. But she’s still alive. Well that’s way more fun than the head in the Sevin box.

Kyle rocks out to some Toto, before he was all Franken. He really was a good kid, with dreams and aspirations before his death. He refused to get a tattoo because he wanted to be more than her was he wanted engineer, a knight in shining armor, and now his memories haunt him. He has his friend’s leg, and tattoo, and nothing to comfort him, chained like a dog. Zoe considers ending his existence.

Madison ponders her existence, and her generation’s defining characteric.  Coming back from death has made her numb to everything. She’s desperate to feel, and she finds something worse than pain, the nothingness inside of her.

Zoe wants to right the wrongs, which starts with Kyle. He was a great guy, but death has changed him. But he’s fast, and he takes the gun from her, wanting to take his own life, but Zoe stops him. He’s broken, and she hasn’t tried to really heal him yet. She’s not ready to let him go yet.

Queenie laments to Delphine about the lack of food. The two go for some burgers, and they find some common ground, and painful truths. Queenie may have left her home to join the coven’s sisterhood, but Delphine points out that the girls, witches or not, will never be her sisters.

Hank calls Cordelia asking to come home, but she hangs up on him. But he plans for a reunion soon, ready for an assault. Cordelia looks for Delphine, but finds Madison instead. Madison saves her from falling down the stairs, and she sees her death.

The Axeman is quite the smooth talker, and has Fiona enchanted. They seem to be two peas in a pod. She likes danger, and he is danger. She takes a moment to herself in the loo, but doesn’t see the body in the tub. Does no one have a sense of smell on this show? Last week was Madison’s rotting corpse, and this week the bludgeoned body in the tub. Before they get to the kissing and bedding, Fiona has cold feet, but the Axeman thinks its more destiny. When love isn’t the answer he offers her good old fashion sex, and Fiona. He gives her a little demonstration, and its electric, there are literally sparks.

Zoe tries a different method with Kyle. She wants to trust him, but they need to communicate. She knows he’s still in there, she just has to help him. But he lashes out over everything. Madison doesn’t remember Kyle, but she offers to take care of him while Zoe talks to Cordelia. Being dead, she tries to make a connection together. Her death was cold and dark, but felt less empty. Her revelation, brings out compassion in him, and he holds her.

Queenie pays Marie a visit. Marie plays on Queenie’s fears, trying to make Queenie see the worse in the White witches she lives with. She tells Queenie that she can join her, if she brings her Delphine. She promises Queenie what she’s always wanted, power and a place of belonging. Queenie asks Marie’s plan for Delphine, but Marie remains tight lipped.

Cordelia has a little chat with Zoe. She has a big bullseye on her back with her recent power surge. She warns her that Fiona is dangerous, and like any rabid animal, needs to be put down. Zoe leaves torn, shocked and finds Madison and Kyle fucking in her room.

Fiona prepares to leave. Seems that she did notice the body in the tub, but it didn't stop her from sleeping with him. She tells him that she called the police, but he doesn't believe her. He knows her far better than she could imagine. He's been watching her for a long time, since she was eight, which makes it a way gross. He protected her as a child, when she was bullied, and suddenly warning flags come up. He viewed her as a child to be protected at first, and later he fell in love with her fire, forced to only watch her unable to act. So finding her in that bar was no mistake. He loved her from afar from her whole life. he sounds like her every wish, and yet she refuses to fall for his pretty words.

Spaulding finds himself tied up, and for the first time in years he finds that he can talk again. Zoe found his tongue, and returned it to him. Myrtle kept his tongue all these years, but wasn't powerful enough to restore it, but Zoe had no problem with it. She asks him for the truth, and Spaulding is powerless to refuse her. He gives her the names she asks for, and she plunges a knife into his heart. Our sweet little Zoe has grown some teeth! Maybe she is the next Supreme.

Delphine prepares supper, and Queenie asks for the worst thing that Delphine ever did. Delphine wants to let the past stay there, but Queenie presses. Delphine did many things in the name of youth. She killed one of her husbands byblows, taunted the maid, his mother with his blood and she killed herself shortly after. She explains to Queenie that it was not only a different time, but a different world, and she's now glad to have a true friend in Queenie. 

Fiona loses a chunk of hair, a side effect of the chemotherapy likely, and struggles over shaving her whole head. 

Zoe washes away the blood from her hands. Madison pokes at Zoe, trying to get a rise or something out of her. She doesn't think that Zoe's little curse will kill Kyle, but she's not ready to give him up either, since being with him was the first time she felt anything. She's willing to share Kyle, and proposes a threesome.

Fiona watches the Axeman play his sax, and offers to buy him a drink. I guess dying, she has nothing to lose.

Queenine brings Delphine to get a new hair do, but really she's turning her over to Marie. Betrayal on that level cannot be forgiven. Delphine is taken, and even with all the horrible things she's done, I'm not sure she deserves this. Marie has Queenie make the first cuts. Marie takes a page from Delphine's book, and uses her blood to paint her face, like she needs it, she's already immortal.
