SATURN AWARDS ADDS MARY GOSS ROBINO, IVAN DUDYNSKY’S DEVIANTS MEDIA AND RISE PRODUCTIONS TO LEADERSHIP TEAM, JOINING POWERHOUSE PR FIRMS 42WEST AND THE DOOR
The Saturn Awards organization today announced the upcoming newly revitalized show has added executive Mary Goss Robino, Deviants Media and Rise Productions to its leadership team, joining premier PR/marketing firms 42West and The Door, leaders in respective fields of entertainment and lifestyle/hospitality. Goss Robino will, for the first time in the show’s 45 year history, leverage the tremendous global fandom community unique to the entertainment the Saturn Awards honor and create innovative brand partnerships integrated into the social media, pre-show and show activities. Deviants Media, spearheaded by leading television producer and director Ivan Dudynsky (NBC’s Songland, FOX’s Teen Choice Awards and IFC’s Spirit Awards), will produce an entirely new stage show as well as the first ever global live stream presentation for the Saturn Awards. Rise Productions will produce an innovative, interactive experiential red carpet and after party. The Saturn Awards will be available for the first time ever to global fans through a soon to be announced streaming partner and takes place on Friday, the 13th of September at the historic Avalon Theater in Hollywood.
Goss Robino’s role is to secure brand integration and partnerships and she brings more than 25 years of entertainment and brand marketing experience, most recently serving as Executive Vice President, Global Marketing Partnerships at Twentieth Century Fox where she spearheaded marketing partnerships for Bohemian Rhapsody, Alita: Battle Angel, Dark Phoenix and the upcoming Avatar sequels. Mary has driven marketing partnerships on hundreds of films, contributing to the success of some of the largest franchises in history; including 7 James Bond films, 3 Spider-Man films, The Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Star Trek, Angry Birds, Ghostbusters, Men in Black and the Austin Powers and Smurfs franchises.
Award-winning producer and director Ivan Dudynsky will lead the live stage production and live-streaming presentation of the Saturn Awards. Recognized for his vision in creating compelling TV and brand content, Dudynsky is currently co-creator of NBC’s Songland and director of VH1’s Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party, NBC’s Hollywood Game Night and Netflix’s Next in Fashion. He and his team at Deviants Media – the creative production agency that develops and produces network television, experiential programs and activations and digital channels, including snkr INC and Cellar Media, from its new media studio in El Segundo – will produce the Saturn Awards.
Regina Carpinelli and Cat Carson, founders of RISE Productions, are creating a new interactive red-carpet experience at the Saturn Awards. Known for their authentic and exciting experiential events, they bring over 18 years of experience in brand management, design direction and execution within the fashion and entertainment industry. Carpinelli is the founder of Los Angeles Comic Con and former EVP RuPaul’s DragCon and has produced events for Black Eyed Peas, LA Haunted Hay Ride and The Trevor Project.

Since 1973, the Saturn Awards honor the very best in science-fiction, fantasy and horror entertainment and is the official award presentation of the non-profit Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films.
