Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. S4E18 "No Regrets" Recap

Mace and Coulson capture a Hydra vehicle to infiltrate a Hydra "Enlightenment Camp" in which an undercover agent is being held captive. Daisy is being tortured and interrogated by Fitz, who Simmons still insists on believing in. Aida offers to give Daisy Lincoln back if she surrenders the location of their bodies in the real world, so that Daisy might be able to live in peace and happiness with him in the Framework. Daisy is able to speak to Radcliffe through the vents in their cells and he tells her about another backdoor he installed to escape the Framework that Aida will not have been able to disable but in all likelihood will have guarded.

May volunteers to be injected with a super serum so she can better fight Mace, who is with Coulson freeing the uncover agent - Antoine Triplett, who is still alive in the Framework. May tracks them down there and while fighting with Mace, Coulson tries to save one of his former students from a brainwashing centre. Mace follows in to help Coulson, as the building begins to collapse due to a missile shot by Hydra. May enters the building to ensure that Mace is dead and comes across him stopping debris from crushing the student. She is also shocked and disgusted to find that the building is full of children being harmed by Hydra. Mace is able to hold up the debris long enough for the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents to get the child to safety. Mace sacrifices himself to hold the debris up long enough for everyone else to get away, though he is killed in the process.

Aida returns to the real world and finds that Mace's body there is dead too.

Shaken by her experience regarding the children, May smuggles a Terrigen crystal into Daisy's holding cell so that she activate her Inhuman abilities inside the Framework.
