From writing to directing to editing to providing the finishing musical touches, producer/director Tom Grey (Cocktails with Stan), composer Tim Jones (Chuck), writer Kam Miller (Law & Order: SVU), writer Keto Shimizu (Arrow), and First Assistant Director David Trotti (Burn Notice) pull back the curtain to give you a behind-the-scenes look at what goes into the shows you love.

Tom Grey - Producer/Director (Cocktails with Stan)
Tom is an award winning producer and director who has created work seen by millions around the world. As a producer for Vuguru, a digital production studio, Tom spearheaded the content slate for a digital channel in partnership with comic book legend Stan Lee. As a writer, his feature script, "Elysian Park", is beginning to cast with Andrew Lazar, producer of such films as "Get Smart" and "R.I.P.D." Tom recently formed a new production company, Player Studios, to continue producing digital content, such as his award winning series,Cosplay Piano, and a half hour comedy pilot, Humplist.
Tim Jones - Composer (Chuck, Human Target, Cult)
Tim is a composer for film and television, best known for his work on the NBC series Chuck. Tim was the composer for the second season of Human Target on Fox and Cult on the CW. He is a frequent collaborator with writer/director J. S. Cardone (The Forsaken, True Blue, 8mm 2) and composed the score for the directorial debut of Damon Wayans, "Behind the Smile". Film projects include ‘Smokin’ Aces 2: Assassins’ Ball’, ‘The Death and Life of Bobby Z’, 'Wicked Little Things', ‘Vampires: The Turning’, and 'The Forsaken'. Tim is currently working on multiple projects, including a Chuck soundtrack.

Kam Miller - Writer (Law & Order: SVU, pilot specialist)
Kam is a TV writer who has created pilots for FOX, CBS, 20th Century Fox, Paramount Television, and Universal Cable Productions. She wrote for Fox’s “Killer Instinct” as well as the long-running NBC show Law & Order: SVU. Her first feature, “The Iris Effect,” was produced while she was at the USC School of Cinematic Arts. She wrote and directed “Descendents of Eden,” a sci-fi short film that premiered at the San Diego Comic-Con International Film Festival. Currently, Kam is developing several TV projects and finishing her first novel, “Myth of Crime.” She is collaborating with several other women TV writers on a short story anthology, “Empower: Fight Like a Girl,” which will benefit the non-profit Lupus Foundation of America. “Empower: Fight Like a Girl” will be available from Amazon in

Keto Shimizu - Writer (The Cape, Being Human, Arrow)
Keto began her career in the television/film industry working in post-production on such films as "Will Eisner's The Spirit", "Tron: Legacy" and "Clash of the Titans". In 2009 she was accepted into NBCUniversal's Writers on the Verge program, and was later hired as a staff writer on NBC's comic book-inspired show, The Cape. From there she joined the writing staff of SyFy's Being Human, and after two seasons moved on to her current position on the CW's Arrow.
David Trotti – First Assistant Director (Star Trek: The Next Generation, Voyager, Enterprise)
David has worked in the production of numerous television shows in his twenty year career including eleven years on the long running Star Trek franchise (Star Trek: Next Generation, Voyager and Enterprise), four years on the NBC spy-comedy series Chuck and seasons of Burn Notice, Cold Case, The Night Shift and others. He just completed work in Albuquerque on a new pilot for the CW called The Messengers due out in Fall of 2014 and will begin a film in St. Louis in May. The role of the Assistant Director in television is to bridge the gap between creative and production teams and help the words on the page and the vision in the director’s imagination become practical elements that can be brought together and filmed within the limits of the budget and dictates of the schedule. This begins in the earliest stages of preparing a project and carries on to the last day of production.
