Renaida has followed up her hit Melodifestivalen-entry "All The Feels" with an even catchier, more infectious banger of a single, "Loco Notion." In shocking contrast to the usual lacklustre tendencies of the Swedish music industry with their negligence to proper marketing and visual presentation, Renaida has actually released a music video for this latest release. The video is bright, colourful, and whacky as heck, just like Renaida herself, in the best way possible. There's a bizarre doll/puppet, a flying car, lions roaring, and plenty of hair-whipping. What a treat!
Renaida quickly shot up to become one of the biggest fan-favorites, particularly among international viewers. Her song "All The Feels" was a tremendously catchy and hard-hitting pop banger and Renaida performed with tremendous force, charisma, and attitude while all present on the stage donned orange outfits at the request of Renaida herself. With far too few artists bringing pop bangers to the show and even fewer having this level of energetic charisma on stage, we can only hope that Renaida will continue to deliver releases of this calibre throughout her career.
Melodifestivalen has gained traction for not only boasting an impressive show from the competing acts, but the ever-evolving roster of guest performers that serve as interval acts on a weekly basis. This week Sami artist Maxida Märak graced the contest with a cool, urban number to add a fresh twist to the show. Maxida is not only active as a musical artist but as a political activist for the Sami community.

Andra Chansen always marks an interesting set of analysis, as sometimes odd duels are formed that send fans spinning into speculations as to what factors will give a particular competitor the edge to the voting public. Margaret will face Moncho in the first duel, and many believe that Margaret will be the one to win it due to the larger successes she has had on the Swedish charts as well as the greater commercial traction her song has had compared to Moncho's. If she qualifies, it will be the first time a foreign, non-Swedish act has made it to the Melodifestivalen finals.
Renaida and Olivia Eliasson are set to duel in the second round and this is arguably the most difficult to predict since they are both relatively new to their professional careers, with their Melodifestivalen entries being their largest commercial hits to date. Additionally, Renaida's song has been available for about a month now due to her being a qualifier from semi-final 1, while Olivia only just qualified last week. Thus it makes the numbers one would hope to look over to compare skewed due to extenuating circumstances.
Felix Sandman will duel Mimi Werner in the third round and there is little to no doubt that Felix will be the one to win it. With his pre-established name and fan-following, and the immediate traction the song has begun to build in such a short amount of time, he could have just as easily been one of the direct qualifiers from his semi-final. Finally, Méndez will duel Sigrid Bernson. This is likely to be another close match, as Méndez's song has been massively popular with the Swedish public while Sigrid is quite well known and liked, particularly by her young fans on social medias.

Renaida saw a moderate amount of success on Swedish Idol, after which she debuted in Melodifestivalen with an absolute banger of a song, "All The Feels." With a powerful energy and charisma as a performer, she defied the odds in order to qualify to the Andra Chansen round and then win her duel to make it to the finals. Throughout these competitive efforts, Renaida was also working as 'Jasmine' in a Swedish version of the Aladdin musical. Though she is in many ways a newcomer, she displays all the potential to be one of the biggest, hottest exports from the Swedish pop industry.
Swedish Idol alumni Renaida is making her Melodifestivalen debut with an orange-tinted pop banger, "All The Feels," that serves attitude, choreography, and one hell of a drop. Renaida also has experience on the big stage from singing as Poli Genova's stand-in during Eurovision 2016 (in Stockholm). She knows how to work her angles and keep her eye on the camera despite being newer to this particular contest. It's unclear whether or not the people around her will give her the opportunity to make a music video for the song, but Renaida says she has been working with the same team that works with Melodifestivalen-winner Frans, and has every interest in making videos for her upcoming content.
