Teen Wolf S06E20 "The Wolves of War" Recap

The episode opens with Scott and Chris rescuing a young werewolf named Alec in LA.

Then we return to the gunfight between Gerard's men and Scott's pack. The shoot-out is interrupted by the arrival of Stiles, who hits one of the gunmen with his jeep and Derek, who wolfs out to join in on the fight. Monroe and the remaining gunmen flee and Stiles scolds Lydia for not telling him about what was going on. Scott kneels and looks after Deucalion in his dying moments. Scott hugs Derek, who reveals that he didn't come back for Beacon Hills, but for Scott. Gerard begins speaking to the group though the radio in Stiles' truck, reciting Shakespeare. Derek finishes the passage which confirms that war has begun. Gerard reveals that he has Jackson captive and electroshocks him. He then reveals that he has not only Jackson and Ethan captive, but Deputy Parrish and his father too, while Liam and Mason are captive at the hospital. He warns Scott that he will not be able to save them all, and that the war is coming for him.

Scott tasks Theo with going after Liam and Mason while the rest of the pack regroups while Stiles reveals how the FBI had formed a mission to go after Derek. He convinced the FBI to bring him along on the mission so he could save Derek from being killed but Derek had to carry him out of the building due to Stiles' toe being shot in the mission.

Corey confesses his love for Mason and uses his invisibility power to try to sneak them out. Melissa tends to Nolan's head wound and tells him to get up and help her take back the hospital.

Gerard shows Monroe the super-bullet he has forged that is strong enough to kill Scott.

The pack discuss the Anuk-Ite and how it works - that the two halves have merged and they cannot look at it or else they will die. Coincidentally, Stiles' greatest fear is going blind. Scott is determined that they will all go after their captive loved ones, while the Anuk-Ite will eventually find them. Peter heads to Beacon Hills High and finds some victims of the Anuk-Ite that have been turned into statues. The group tries to warn him not to look at the Anuk-Ite but he has already lowered the phone so when the Anuk-Ite corners him, he is turned to stone.

Jackson taunts the guard watching him into coming closer. He's then able to get his tail out and knock the guard out before stealing the keys to his cuffs. He tries to find a way out but encounters Stiles and Lydia who had broken into the armory to rescue him. Jackson then reveals that he's there with Ethan so they must save him too. Scott calls Stiles and tells him there's something he need stop retrieve from the armory.

A group of Gerard/Monroe's followers try to shoot and kill Liam but Theo is able to get Liam into an elevator and out of the line of the fire. They work together to fight off the hunters while Mason and Corey are shown to have fought back to a smaller degree in another part of the hospital. Melissa and Nolan then emerge to help Theo and Liam, but they must all run and take cover from Gabe, who begins shooting with an automatic weapon. Theo is shot in the back of the shoulder in the chaos. Still, the group is able to work together to fight off the hunters.

The pack finds a petrified Peter at the school and Derek is able to hear that Peter still has a heartbeat so there is seemingly a way to save him once they stop the Anuk-Ite. Monroe comes across Scott with Malia and Derek, and shoots him with the yellow wolfsbane bullet. Scott tells Malia to go after Monroe to keep her from getting away, while Derek warns him that the wolfsbane will kill him. He gets Scott to a chemistry classroom and burns the wound to try to save him and further along the healing. Derek senses that the Anuk-Ite is near, as his fear spikes up. Lydia, Jackson, and Ethan also feel the uprise in fear when they arrive to the school.

Sheriff Stilinski arrives at Eichen House and fights off the three Deputies that were tasked with guarding Parrish. After beating the Deputies, he open the room and orders the Deputies to let Parrish out, which they agree to do. Together, they also free Scott's father and band together to rise up against Gerard and take down the reign of terror.

Lydia discovers a petrified Malia in Monroe's office. Jackson is wondering around the locker room and the Anuk-Ite tricks him into opening his eyes so he become petrified too, having already done the same to Ethan. The Anuk-Ite tries to trick Derek by claiming to be Jennifer, asking for another chance. Derek keeps his eyes closed and tries to hit the Anuk-Ite but the Anuk-Ite continues its deception till Derek relents and opens his eyes, joining the others in a petrified state.

Kate is angered when she learns that Gerard gave the majority of the yellow wolfsbane to Monroe. Gerard then reveals that he used the rest of it on another bullet that he uses to shoot Kate, as he will not allow her back into his good graces since she's still a supernatural creature. Chris then reveals himself and says that he has lost and Scott knows how to fight off the Anuk-Ite.

Scott is cornered in the library by the Anuk-Ite, who briefly takes on the form of Stiles to try to goad him into opening his eyes. It also taunts Scott with the memory of Allison. Scott is still injured from from the yellow wolfsbane but continues to keep his eyes closed despite the Anuk-Ite taking on the form of each of his friends to try to bait him into doing so. The Anuk-Ite then grabs Scott by the throat and demands that he open his eyes but Scott then unsheathe his claws and blinds himself. He uses the training and instruction bestowed upon him by Deucalion and the bravery he now has to fight the Anuk-Ite. Scott knows that by binding with a shapeshifter, the Anuk-Ite must operate under those rules too. Stiles barges into the library and sprays the Anuk-Ite with mountain ash, so its powers become inverted and then it becomes petrified while all the petrified victims return to their normal state. It's all very timely too, as Monroe had issued orders to her followers to shoot the petrified members of the pack but they're able to fight off the hunters instead. But Jackson and Ethan are nearly shot by another hunter until Coach Finstock pops out and beats the hunter down with a lacrosse stick, saying it's good see Jackson again before walking out.

At the hospital, Gabe is badly wounded and says that it hurts. Theo approaches him and takes away his pain until Gabe dies from his injuries. Sheriff Stilinski, Parrish, and Agent McCall arrive at the hospital to arrest the remaining hunters.

Back at the armory, Kate uses the last of her strength to change into a were jaguar and kill Gerard, while Chris walks away. Monroe speaks on her radio, asking for someone on her side to respond, but Liam does instead, telling her that she lost. Thus, she flees.

The pack gathers around Scott, who still hasn't healed his eyes. Derek warns him that if he doesn't heal soon the damage will be permanent. Lydia glances at Stiles and gets the winning idea, telling Malia to kill Scott. She does and this gives him the courage and concentration to heal.

Liam and Nolan agree to be co-captains of the lacrosse team and Scott narrates how their pack is stronger than ever and they have many allies. Jackson and Ethan return to London while Chris and Melissa begin a romantic relationship.

Monroe is revealed to have continued her war against supernaturals and there are thousands of followers to her cause. Scott tells the new werewolf Alec from the episode's beginning about all of this and says they can fight together against her. Chris drops them off at a meeting spot where Stiles, Lydia, Derek, Malia, and Liam all arrive. Scott invites him to join their pack but says he'll have to fight with them. Alec reveals how Monroe said that he is a monster and she'd kill him no matter how old he is but Scott assures him that he's not a monster, but a werewolf like him.

Teen Wolf S06E19 "Broken Glass" Recap

Chris Argent meets with a professional contact in Cabecerias, Brazil, in the middle of the night for information. The man tells of a mass murder in which twelve bodies were found dead with no identities or any clues left to explain what happened. The bodies are shown to viewers to be werewolves and though the narrator's men were looking for answers - another person was too. This is where we have the return of Derek Hale. Derek interrogates the killers for answers as to why they killed the wolves and they reveal it was under Gerard's orders. Chris examines a crime scene and discovers a message written in blood: "Beacon Hills".

Tamora tortures Ethan with electric shocks while lecturing her followers on the dangers of werewolves and how they must arm themselves and band together to kill the supernatural. She calls out a young teenager in attendance called Sydney, who shares how she hid with some other during an attack on a lacrosse game. She then calls out Nolan and commends him for the attack he launched on Scott McCall's house (the attack that Gabe actually launched and then claimed was done by Nolan). She then tells Nolan and Sydney to move Ethan's body, all the while Ethan is pleading to know where Jackson is. Nolan appears to be morally conflicted by how things have been escalating. He then text Liam asking to meet and Liam agrees, though not without reservations. Nolan offers help and says he has a plan. He will bring Liam to the hospital, show him something important, and then Liam will be free to beat him up to make the others think that Liam beat the information out of him. At the hospital, Nolan reveals how several members of the hospital staff have joined Gerard and Tamora's army. Furthermore, there are some werewolf patients in the hospital that are being administered wolfsbane through their IVs. Liam allows Nolan to go free without beating him up first but he is confronted by Gabe, who reveals that Tamora knew what Nolan would do and his betrayal was part of a larger plan to lure the pack out. Then Gabe proceeds to violently beat Nolan.

Lydia comes looking for Scott at his house but finds Peter waiting instead and searching for Malia. The two realise that the phone towers have been starting to be knocked out. Gerard's followers are making strategic moves to box everyone in and isolate everyone within the grid. Lydia shares how she had a vision of Peter dying in the fight due to the Anuk-Ite's gaze along with all the others.

Scott and Malia have gone to meet with Deucalion who begins training them to use their senses so they can fight without looking at the Anuk-Ite. Through all the training, Scott remains determined to believe that people are still inherently good, even though the Anuk-Ite has seemingly brought out the worst in them.

Sheriff Stilinski meets with Parrish, who cross-reference a pattern they've noticed. Tamora has been having the members of her army look up old accident reports, hospital records, and the blood testing at school in order to compile a list of all the supernatural people in Beacon Hills.

Chris manages to track down Derek, who reveals another vault that belonged to a different member of the Hale family. Chris pleads with him to help in their fight against Beacon Hills. Derek says he first needs to prevent the murderer of the pack in Brazil from getting a bottle of poison. Chris tells him to get rid of it and it's then that some FBI agents emerge. They want to arrest Derek but they're all shot in the back by Kate, who wants the wolfsbane poison for herself. She holds Derek at gunpoint to get the poison but Chris shoots at her before she can kill Derek. She gets away with the poison and declares that she will use it to get revenge and kill Scott. Derek tells Chris to get back to Beacon Hills and warn Scott, while he will go after Kate himself.

Mason and Corey arrive at the hospital and begin receiving strange looks from all the hospital staff. They begin to realise that they are bait and end up locked in a wing by some armed men.

Deucalion is shot dead by some of Tamora's men that arrive at the sometime that Lydia and Peter arrive to warn them of danger. Gunfire ensues and they all begin to run.

Tune in to MTV next Sunday for the final episode of Teen Wolf.

Teen Wolf S06E18 "Genotype" Recap

The pack listens to a voicemail on the cellphone found on one of the dead bodies in the woods. This particular body was missing his face, leading them to believe that it's one half of the Anuk-Ite. The two halves must be kept separate so now the pack must divide and conquer in order to find the two separate halves. Theo and Mason will go after Aaron while Scott and Liam will try to follow the lead of the voicemail. Meanwhile, Lydia and Malia are at the morgue examining the body of the Hellhound. For him to have been able to reach Lydia and give her visions, he can't be fully dead.

Theo and Mason head down to the sewers to find Aaron and must fight off the escalating feelings of fear, which stocks the flames of mistrust in Mason against Theo for all he did against the pack. Theo suggests that perhaps he'd like to join the pack but Mason is vehemently against the idea, particularly when feeling so overcome by fear. When Theo feels the increase in fear too, the pair realise that Aaron is near and are promptly attacked by him.

Liam and Scott try calling the number from the voicemail and find that it came from Beacon Hills high. Liam listens carefully to the voice again and realises it is his science teacher, Ms. Finch. Liam must go back to class, despite all the risk that comes with going back into a school overrun with people that want to capture and kill him. Scott will be close by in the hallway to help him with the mission. Liam tries different methods in an attempt to get Ms. Finch to reveal herself as some sort of supernatural creature, including putting some wolfsbane in the chalk dust. This tips her off and she pulls Liam aside to speak privately after class. She isn't supernatural and denies knowing anything until Scott emerges and plays her voicemail. Scott and Liam break the bad news that her daughter is dead and now half of the Anuk-Ite. She is distraught and in denial that something could violate the laws of biology in this way. Liam and Scott are shocked when Ms. Finch reveals that her daughter's name was Quinn - meaning that the new werewolf they recently met is the other half of the Anuk-Ite. Quinn arrives to the school and Scott and Liam prepare to fight her but Ms. Finch attacks them instead and runs off in search of Quinn, believing her daughter can still be saved. Ms. Finch tries to approach her but is overcome with fear and realises that this isn't her daughter anymore. Quinn attacks her with claws and glowing purple eyes and wants to know where her other half is. She lets out a growl of pain, due to an injury Aaron sustained in the fight with Theo, that Aaron hears in the sewer and immediately sets off after her. Scott must look after an injured Ms. Finch while Liam sets off after Quinn.

Lydia is unable to get into the Hellhound's head and then remembers that she received the visions when she was unconscious. Malia offers to knock her out but Lydia doesn't want to experience pain so she asks Malia to press firmly against her chest till she's rendered unconscious instead. This works and Lydia is able to have a vision in which she meets the Hellhound, who is still alive despite being buried deep inside of his own mind. Lydia and Malia put the Hellhound in an MRI in the hopes of using its magnetic pull to draw out the bullet. But Lydia is alarmed to find that the bullet was also coated in silver so if they pull it out, the Hellhound will begin to heal and his body heat will melt the remaining silver fragments and poison him to death, this time for good. Lydia hesitates to turn the machine on but Malia convinces her it's the right thing to do. The hellhound wakes and is furious to realise he is poisoned. The hellhound says they must keep the two halves of the Anuk-Ite apart and if they merge, they must not look at it or it will be certain death.

Liam prepares to confront Quinn in the library but then Aaron emerges and stands next to Quinn, prepared to fight Liam with her. Armed militia from Gerard's fanatical group enter the school. Scott pleads with Ms. Finch to shift in order to activate her healing which she eventually does after being reminded that the Anuk-Ite killed her daughter.

Aaron and Quinn easily knock Liam aside and then turn to kiss each other before beginning a fight. Eventually Aaron snaps Quinn's neck and puts his hand on her face and absorbs the other half of the Anuk-Ite inside of him. He then shifts into a skinless monster with glowing purple eyes - the true form of the Anuk-Ite. Lydia shows up and gets Liam out of the library, warning Liam not to look at it or else he'll be killed. The Anuk-Ite then encounters the armed gunmen in the hallway and they turn to ash upon seeing it. Gabel overhears Lydia's warning about not looking at the Anuk-Ite so he hides and keeps his eyes shut while the Anuk-Ite passes by.

The pack determine that they must learn to fight without using hitter eyes so they'll have to go back to Deucalion for help. But first, Scott and Malia have shower-sex. The Anuk-Ite heads to the hospital, killing anyone it encounters along the way before heading to the morgue and looking at the body of the dead Hellhound. Gerard is there waiting for the Anuk-Ite and speaks to him with his back turned. Gerard offers to help the Hellhound kill the rest of the pack which will give it enough power to take over the world.

Teen Wolf airs on Sundays on MTV.

Teen Wolf S06E17 "Werewolves of London" Recap

Ethan makes angry calls to Jackson. They're late for their anniversary plans in London where the two have been living together. Some hunters had attacked Jackson and bring him back to the apartment where they attack Ethan too. Ethan chides the hunters for using regular wolfsbane, as it doesn't work fully on Jackson due to his being part Kanima. Jackson attacks the hunters and overpowers them, though Ethan is annoyed by the destruction the fight causes on their apartment.

Back in Beacon Hills, Scott is at the hospital while his mother is in surgery after being shot by the attack on their home. Malia waits with him and both are relieved when the operating surgeons say that Melissa will be okay. Scott visits her and she tells him to stay and fight instead of running away, after which she falls asleep from the sedative administered to her. Scott's father is transferred to San Francisco Memorial hospital, while Mason and Lydia are also in recovery from being shot. Sheriff Stilinski promises Scott that the entire sheriff's department is working to find who did this but Scott says he knows who did it. Scott then tells Malia they need to fight back and take on the hunters. Scott must now begin forming an army, with Malia more than ready to help him do so.

Sheriff Stilinski has Tamora come in for questioning. She denies any involvement in shooting up Scott's house and the Sheriff already knows she wasn't there due to her being shown on surveillance footage at the school at the time of the attack. Sheriff wants her to turn over the people responsible.

Scott and Malia call up Deucalion, who has changed his ways. He's no longer a violent fighter and doesn't want to get involved in a battle that will compromise his quiet, peaceful life. Scott informs him of Gerard's plan and Deucalion offers him advice instead. Scott must accept that in order to stop Gerard, he will have to kill him. Malia attempts to attack Deucalion but he uses a new martial arts training that allows him to fight back without fighting - he simply ducks and swerves to avoid her blows. Deucalion is willing to offer advice but will not get involved in a fight. He advises Scott to lower his standards even more in order to find allies in his fight.

Back in London, Jackson and Ethan have the hunters tied up and being questioning them. They know that Gerard is responsible for these attacks. They had been tracking some omegas but Jackson discovered they were dead - with only some trophies of theirs to show their existence. They then determine that Gerard is back in Beacon Hills, meaning a reunion with the main pack is on the way.

At Beacon Hills high, Liam attacks Gabe to try to interrogate him about the attack on Scott's home. Theo is able to stop Liam from succumbing to his anger and killing Gabe but Theo then attacks Gabe himself when Gabe lets it slip that there are other dead bodies.

Sheriff Stilinski tries to convince Tamora to turn on Gerard and give up the hunters that attacked Scott's home by sharing the gruesome details of Gerard's past crimes. Though she appears shaken by the revelations, she refuses to turn anyone over. She resents the lies she was told, including ones by the Sheriff himself, about the supernatural aspects of the attack that nearly killed her.

At the hospital, Lydia has a vision of the building being covered in ice. She then follows some steps towards the elevator. She then heads to the morgue where one of the body cabinets is fiery hot despite the rest of the hospital being icy cold. Lydia reaches out to open it and looks inside.

Scott and Malia reach out to Peter Hale to ask him to join their fight. He doesn't want to join them and reveals a hunter that he caught that is brainwashed into being relentless in wanting to kill them for being supernatural. Peter gives the man an automatic weapon and shows them that these hunters can't be reasoned with and if Scott remains determined to not kill anyone, he will lose this war. Scott and Malia leave, determined to find other allies.

At the police station, the Deputies then reveal their loyalty to Tamora and Gerard's cause, much to Sheriff Stilinski's horror. Tamara tells a Deputy to relieve the Sheriff of his badge and gun. Sheriff refuses to turn them over and leaves the station of his own accord, reminding them that it doesn't matter whether or not Gerard will beat him as the Sheriff - either way, it's Scott that he won't be losing against.

Malia calls Peter on her own and uses their supernatural abilities to show him what she has experienced with the Anuk-ite. She explains how it operates on fear and makes all of the hunters more determined to kill them. He still won't join their cause, saying there's no way to fight against the Anuk-ite. Peter tries to give Malia a car as a gift but she refuses. She goes back to Scott and suggests they reach out to a ruthless pack called The Primal. It's a gamble, since they don't know the Pack personally like they did Deucalion and Peter.

Gabel reveals to Liam and Theo the bodies of dead werewolves in a freezer. They had been tested and revealed to be werewolves but something else killed them. They realise that not only did the Anuk-ite kill them, but that the identity of the Anuk-ite is a freshman named Aaron.

Malia and Scott track down The Primal in the hopes of recruiting them but discover that the entire pack is dead in the same gruesome fashion as the werewolves back in the freezer, meaning they were killed by the Anuk-ite. They also discover that Lydia is there, having been lead there by the dead Hellhound Halwyn. They all carry on their journey as Lydia follows her connection to Halwyn and find whatever they are being lead to.

Gabe reveals to Nolan in secret that he had shot up Scott's house but claimed to Tamora that Nolan did it in order to save his standing to the Hunters. Nolan appears shaken by the revelation.

Lydia, Malia, and Scott finally find what they've been lead to - a body with its skin removed that Lydia determines is a clue to finding the Anuk-ite's other face. They reunite with the rest of the group and are joined by Peter who is charred from having been blown up in his car. Peter claims he simply wants revenge for the attack but through a series of flashbacks, it's revealed that by being in Malia's head he saw the depth of her feelings for Scott and that was the key to his deciding to join the fight. He warns her that Scott is going to get himself killed and that she shouldn't fall in love with a dead man but she says that it's too late.

Jackson and Ethan return to Beacon Hills High. They encounter Tamora in the hallway and ask her where they can find Scott. She offers to take them to him but instead, she captures them and ties them up. She splashes water on them and begins electro-shocking them to ask what they want from Scott. Jackson wants to know why they've been killing wolves in London and Ethan listens to her heartbeat, as part of their system as a supernatural couple.

Teen Wolf airs on Sundays on MTV at 10/9c.

Teen Wolf S06E16 "Triggers" Recap

Beacon Hills high is operating under a new reign of terror. The bullies are going around slicing people on the hand to test if they are supernatural and will heal too fast to be non-supernatural. A were-coyote named Edgar is revealed and one of the bullies, Aaron, is looking for someone to be particularly extraordinary. Aaron tests Edgar by releasing one of the mystical spiders into his body.

Agent McCall comes to the school to question Nolan and Tamora on the missing werewolves, Jiany and Tierney, that were taken into FBI custody. Tamora sends Nolan away before he can give anything away and he discovers a dying Edgar, who has a swarm of spiders emerge from his body. McCall later visits Gerard in his armory, that Gerard is operating from under claims of it being a legitimate business. He has all the paperwork to not be taken down by official means.

Nolan informs Tamora about Edgar and she commands another one of the students she has recruited, Gabe, to kill Edgar. Nolan appears to have some deeply embedded conflict about killing supernatural beings despite his bigotry against them. Still, he begins following Mason when he grows suspicious that he is in contact with them. Mason knows he's being followed by Nolan and is revealed to be working under a plan put together by the pack. Mason goes to an abandoned zoo where Liam and Theo are acting as bait to lure the hunters there.

Meanwhile, Scott, Lydia, Malia, and Chris Argent, are waiting to infiltrate Gerard's armory. Scott and Malia can hear that there are several heartbeats still in the armory and Argent wants to leave if it means they'll have to go up against several trained hunters.

Theo picks a fight with Liam in which they yell loudly and pretend the other members of the pack are there in order to trick the two hunters that arrived at the zoo with Nolan into thinking the whole pack was there. Once the other hunters leave to head to the zoo, Scott and Malia break into the armory while Lydia and Chris wait outside to act as the look-outs. Lydia becomes alarmed due to an earlier vision she had that makes her think danger is closer than ever. When Scott and Malia get into the armory, they find that all the weapons are gone. They realise they should leave but pause when they pick up the scent of Jiang and Tierney. They break into another room where they eventually find the remains of the werewolves and also a map of the world, but it also sets off security measures that lock them inside.

Liam attacks Nolan when he discovers their location, much to the concern of Theo. Gerard's plan is to  kill Liam because of the toll it will take on Scott, explaining it to Tamora as something similar to a parent losing a child. Once the psychological and emotional toll has its impact on Scott, causing him to fall, the rest of the pack will also fall. Nolan tells Liam that if he doesn't kill Liam, then Tamora will kill Nolan herself. He tearfully drops his weapon, and Liam angrily punches the mass of rock next to Nolan's head, clearly struggling to not kill him. Theo knocks Liam down and tells Nolan to run.

Chris is able to get a message to Scott and Malia to warn them not to trip the sensors. The two must keep themselves from hitting any of the red laser beams. Malia determines there is a lock they must get to and break that will allow them to escape. She climbs up high to knock the lock off but one of the pieces of it triggers a sensor that sets off further security measures, namely that the oxygen supply is cut off from the room. Some hunters return and are preparing to get inside and take out Scott and Malia but Chris Argent sets off a smoke grenade and begins fighting off the hunters with Lydia's help. Lydia then has a vision that warns of further impending danger. Chris tells Lydia that thought the doors may be bulletproof, they're not impenetrable to her banshee screams. She is able to break the door down just in time.

Theo and Liam head back to Scott's house. Along the way, Theo advises Liam to not let his anger get the best of him. Liam was the one that had picked the location and set up the plan, but the location was one with a sensitive memory in which he was violently hazed. Liam reacts to fear with anger, which is why the Anuk-Ite is effecting him by amplifying his anger.

Tamora is alarmed that Gerard's map is missing and that the pack might figure out their plan. Gerard acknowledges that he may have underestimated the pack but warns Tamora that there is no bond between him and her the way Scott has to his Beta.

Back at Scott's house, Malia acts on the growing tension between her and Scott by kissing him and he reciprocates. Later, when Chris looks over the map with Melissa, Lyida, and Mason, he determines the map is one of the world's Nemetons. Lydia continues to have flashes from her vision, even as Agent McCall arrives to warn everyone that they can't leave, having determined that Gerard has given his many weapons to the people of Beacon Hills. The people that are acting in fear of supernaturals are now armed to the teeth. Lydia warns the pack to get down just as the house is attacked with gunfire and other weapons. The episode ends with Scott and Malia looking at a growing pool of blood; someone in the pack has been shot. Our bet's on Agent McCall, but we'll have to wait till next week to have that theory confirmed.

Teen Wolf airs on Sundays on MTV at 10PM.

Teen Wolf S6E15 "Pressure Test" Recap

Theo and two wolves from Satomi's pack are shown to be tortured by a hunters. The hunter isn't trying to get any answers out of them - the torture is pure sadism. Theo goads the hunters into turning up the electric shocks when he realises it's melting through their restraints. The wolves break free and they reveal that Satomi is dead so Theo suggests they join Scott's pack since he is always so welcoming to wolves in need. They walk down the road and are promptly arrested by Sheriff Stilinski for the murder of some hunters.

When the trio are locked up in a cell, Theo goads them into revealing they killed some people. Theo is let go because he had nothing to do with it. But he can't leave the station because Monroe has surrounded the station with a bunch of armed followers that want the teenagers that murdered the hunters. Liam implores Scott to not leave the teenagers behind and Scott agrees that they'll all fight through the mob together with the help of the teenagers but they have to stay inside.

Sheriff Stilinski goes outside to try to reason with Monroe but she won't relent. She wants those teenagers, dead or alive. Nolan also sneaks into the station under Monroe's orders to cut the power but he gets caught. He is arrested and is put in a cell next to the teenagers, whom he knows from before they were supernatural. Nolan has some wolfsbane in his pocket and he's prepared to try to kill the teenagers but Liam stops him in time. A smoke bomb is set off in the station as a distraction and Parrish tells Stilinski it had to have been someone already inside - meaning one of their own is working with Monroe.

Mason and Corey break into Deaton's clinic but he catches them. They brainstorm ideas to try to piece together what is causing all this fear. Deaton has been trying to figure it out for some time.

Liam tells Scott he needs to check the imprisoned wolves and he forces them to reveal their eyes, which shine blue. As it turns out, the hunters they hunted down hadn't actually killed anyone yet so they were innocent for the time being. Now Scott finds himself in one hell of a moral dilemma.

Monroe had only given Stilinski till midnight to hand over the teenagers and time is running out. One deputy hangs himself as the fear escalates and Deputy Morrow shoots herself in the head. Lydia warns the group that whatever is causing the fear is inside the station with them. Nolan has been locked up in the holding cell and Stilinski refuses to hand over the teenagers, whom he still sees as innocent despite the technicality of the crime they committed. Scott gets an idea to try to trick Monroe. They decide that they can give the two dead bodies to Monroe since she doesn't know what the teenagers look like.

Deaton has half a drawing he found in his investigation and when Corey presents him with the second half, he figures out what's causing all the fear. An Anuk-Ite is an ancient shapeshifting creature that has two faces. If these two faces, or two separate creatures, come together then they will become unstoppable.

The ruse is under way but Monroe asks to see the pack tattoos on the bodies. But before a fight can break out, Scott's father arrives with the FBI as back-up. He can take the teenagers into custody fully on display in front of the mob so no violence will break out. Scott's father stays behind to try to talk things out with him while the other FBI agents drive the teenagers out of town.

The supernaturals are making their preparations to leave Beacon Hills for their own safety. Mason is distraught at the prospect of his friends leaving.

Unfortunately, the two teenagers still end up dead, as the agent that was driving them was in league with Monroe. Monroe tells Nolan that the wolves were taken care of but since she begins to doubt his abilities to help the group, she says he'll need to do something to prove himself.

Mason is in class doing a math problems when he gets a message that he needs to get to the animal clinic. When he gets there, he finds that none of the group actually left but only pretended to do so because everyone else needed to believe that they're out of town. Now they're prepared to fight.

Teen Wolf airs on Sundays on MTV at 10PM.

Teen Wolf S06E14 "Face-to-Faceless" Recap

A teenager visits the faceless corpse in the hospital and vomits spiders onto it that merge with its body. The boy passes out onto the ground and the corpse sits up on the slab.

A young woman/werewolf named Quinn has her tire blow out and when some men pull over to seemingly help her she is immediately suspicious of them. They attack and she fights back. She beats them and a Beacon Hills deputy pulls over only to shoot Quinn.

Liam doesn't want to go to school after he was caught by so many townsfolk in his werewolf form. Scott is insistent that he keep going and tries to give him a pep talk but Liam is discouraged that people hate them even though they've tried to save everyone's lives. Scott reminds him that he needs to keep going or else more people will die. Liam relents and goes to school but is uncomfortable throughout the entire day, as he can supernaturally hear countless students talking about him. The day only goes from bad to worse as Nolan rallies up more fear-mongering to make the entire lacrosse team turn against him and vote him out of his position as team captain. Nolan wants to goad Liam into shifting but Coach interrupts so Liam says that he has willingly stepped back as captain because his grades are slipping.

Scott tells Chris about how Gerard is back and stirring up anti-Supernatural sentiments. Chris goes to meet him in an effort to call peace but Gerard isn't interested in any sort of truce. Gerard only has one message to send back to Scott: run.

Liam takes refuge from his gossiping peers in guidance counsellor Monroe's office. He feigns wanting to open up but as she begins talking about wanting to help, he notices a book on her cabinet about the supernatural and spots the scratches on her neck. She claims to have been scratched by a branch in the woods but Liam deduces that she is the new hunter.

Chris visits Melissa to warns her to send Scott away from Beacon Hills for his own safety but the conversation is interrupted by Scott himself, who informs them of what Liam has learned - that Monroe is the new hunter.

Deputy Parrish is panicking due to his increased fear caused by the faceless corpse. He goes over the files of the shot hellhound and nearly shoots at a hallucination till Sheriff Stilinski stops him and demands to know what he saw.

Lydia visit Monroe to ask her to help put a stop to the violence, pushing for existence. She wants Monroe to meet with Scott and though she is unwilling at first she agrees to a meeting in the tunnels. Malia think it's a bad idea for Scott to go.

Liam is being increasingly excluded and ostracised by his peers and learns that the entire lacrosse team is blocking the exits of the school because they want to make him shift. Mason tries to help sneak him out with Corey using his invisibility but it doesn't work. Nolan showers them with dust, forcing them back into visibility and the team begins beating Liam up.

Sheriff Stilinski and Deputy Parrish visit Melissa at the morgue so she can show them the faceless corpse but when she opens the drawer, it's gone.

Scott heads down to the tunnels and finds Monroe, Gerard and more of his recruits waiting for him. Scott offers all of the supernatural people to leave Beacon Hills but Monroe refuses, saying that they'll simply follow the Supernaturals and hunt them down. Monroe reveals her back story, that she was at the school for a late night faculty meeting when the Beast attacked and murdered everyone. She was the lone survivor of the massacre in the bus. She claims that Scott and Parrish, who were there, didn't care about checking for survivors and only cared about keeping their secret. Sheriff Stilinski, a human, was the one that found her and got her to medical treatment.

Malia and Lydia arrive in the tunnel but so does the faceless corpse shortly after, though it remains hidden in the shadows. It amplifies everyone's fear and Lydia senses that it's there but it's too late and the guards start firing. Deputy Parrish arrives in the tunnels and charges through the stream of bullets with a flair in his hand. He grabs the faceless corpse by the throat and ignites the both of them with the flair. It is burnt to a crisp and Parrish is okay.

The lacrosse team keep beating Liam, but he only repeats his mantra and refuses to shift into his wolf form. Nolan keeps goading him but he stays human, as Mason stays held back by the other students. Even the science teacher refuses to do anything, claiming it's better to let the students work it out amongst themselves. When Coach Linstock arrives, he pulls the boys off Liam and orders them to the principal's office and sends everyone out of the classroom.

The group all reconvene at Scott's house where they meet the new werewolf Quinn, who survived her attack but is still injured and reveals that the side of anti-Supernaturals has a deputy on their side. Scott realises that they now have far more of a reach than they thought.

Teen Wolf airs on Sundays on MTV at 10PM.

Teen Wolf S06E13 "After Images" Recap

Brett is still running through the woods, injured from his encounter with guidance counsellor Tamora Monroe and Gerard. He slams himself against a tree to try to push the arrow out of him and keep running while Gerard and Tamora continue their pursuit. They find him phone, which had been planted as bait. He throws the arrow towards Tamora and nearly hits her except Gerard pulls her out of the way.

Liam and Mason are hanging out, playing video games. Mason asks to sleep over and Liam realises something is wrong. Mason admits that he hasn't been able to get the faceless body they found out of his head. He asks Liam if he knows what 'after images' are and says he's suffering from a more severe version of it. The image is staying with him and he's suffering through seeing it over and over again everywhere.

Melissa prepares to perform an autopsy on the faceless body but when she prepares to cut into the corpse, the lights flicker and go off. She gets spooked and runs out of the morgue.

The group gathers to look for Brett, who is still missing. Brett's sister found his lacrosse stick which had his blood on it. Mason and Corey wait with Lydia who tries to summon a premonition to determine Brett's whereabouts. Eventually, something comes to her and she begins to scribble a series of messages in different languages. Scott, Malia, and Liam track Brett in the woods while Lydia decides she needs to go back to where her last premonition was and to go alone so as to not be distracted.

Melissa calls Chris Argent and asks him to get a tissue sample from the body for her, as she is now too spooked to do it herself. She waits out in the hall and he heads in to see what has stressed her out. As he approaches the body, he appears to grow increasingly nervous and imagines that a different dead body is starting to come alive. He comes back outside and talks with Melissa about how they both experienced terror when being near the body.

Gerard continues to instruct Tamora on how to track a body and the two determine that Brett must have gone underground to hide.

Lydia carries on in search of answers, having derived the number '68' from her earlier premonition. She goes walking along the school lockers, tapping on the one that bears the number 68.

Scott, Liam, and Malia follow Brett's sister into the sewers, as she realised this was where he was headed based on a clue he left her of some piled rocks. Liam lets out a roar against the advice of the rest of the group to let Brett know they're coming. This also lets Gerard and Tamora know that the pack is on the way, while they are unknowingly standing underneath Brett who is hiding on a ledge and catches a drop of blood falling from his wound that might have alerted them to his presence. Tamora is concerned that there are two many pack members on the way for them to take on as just a duo but Gerard advises her that the best strategy in their current situation is to divide and conquer.

Melissa and Chris decide to tag-team working on the faceless corpse. He advises her to talk her way through the possible reasons why the body is inducing fear, so as to distract herself while she tries to get a flesh sample. She does so while Chris holds the body at gunpoint. Though the two are overwhelmed by terror, Melissa is able to get the tissue sample and Chris hurries to shut the body back into the morgue cabinet.

Scott is badly injured by a booby-trap the hunters set. He realises that something is wrong and that this is not the work of amateurs. Brett's sister wants to hurry on after him and Liam says he'll go with her. Scott urges Malia to go with them but she insists on staying with him.

Melissa is shocked to find that the tissue sample has nothing when being examined. There's no DNA or cell structure of any kind - something that should be impossible.

Liam and Brett's sister begin to track him by following the scent of the poison of his wound. Tamara has an opportunity to shoot at them but Gerard stops her, saying this isn't about killing just one werewolf.

A student named Nolan is being overcome with fear and paranoia. He seems intent on trying to figure out or witness firsthand Corey's supernatural ability. He tries to bait an answer out of Corey and Mason before escalating the situation until he stabs Corey's hand with a pen and then immediately holding his rapidly healed hand to the rest of the students. Mason tries to cover up the situation by claiming it was just a scratch, while Nolan leaves quickly with the pen soaked in Corey's blood.

Scott realises that Gerard was the one that set the booby trap that injured him, as the strategy of splitting them up is the same. He and Malia then hurry to find Liam and Brett's sister, knowing they are walking into a trap.

Lydia corners Nolan in the halls when she spots him wearing a lacrosse jersey that bears the number 68 on it. She asks if he knows about Brett and he says he doesn't. He then asks if she's one of "them" and though she doesn't know what he's talking about, he runs away.

Liam and Brett's sister Lori finally find Brett and he's gravely injured. He's oozing black slime from his body. Then a smoke bomb goes off and a high-pitched wail begins with a flashing light which Liam pursues while Lori tries to get away with Brett. When Liam finds that no one is where the light is flashing, he realises there must have been a trap and turns around to go after Lori and Brett.

Gerard tells Tamora that the endgame in place is to build an army to hunt all the wolves.

Malia tries to take some of Scott's pain away but it's not working. She is angry that Scott is so badly injured and chides him for not letting her call Stiles earlier. Scott begins to pass out, but not before the two have some cryptic conversation dancing around the possibility of a blossoming romantic relationship between the two. The charge of emotion works as Malia is able to take some of Scott's pain away and he wakes up, confused and uncertain of what they were talking about.

Melissa and Chris continue to discuss the body, noting the effects of the body are still lingering. The two then admit a romantic interest in each other that they should've acted on earlier.

Lydia then discusses Mason and Corey's encounter with Nolan. They note that Nolan was afraid of them for being supernatural and they observe countless other students already beginning to stare at them which is what her premonition was about -- people turning on each other.

Liam tries to warn Lori and Brett as they are crawling out of the sewer back onto the street but the siblings are struck by a car before he can stop them. Liam wolfs out and jumps onto the road where Lori is crying over Brett's dead body. Liam lets out an anguished roar which Scott and Malia hear from down in the sewer. Liam is then surrounded by other people driving up in cars and walking towards the scene. They all observe Liam in his werewolf form while Gerard advises Tamora that the best way to build an army is through fear.

Teen Wolf airs on Sundays on MTV at 10/9c.

Teen Wolf S06E12 "Raw Talent" Recap

Theo has been living in his car, repeatedly getting caught by police offers when sleeping in it, telling him to move along. One night, a spider gets into his car and begins crawling on his skin until it seemingly supernaturally burrows itself into his skin. He goes to the vet's office and finds a scalpel to stab it where it's burrowing underneath the skin on his back and pulls it out, after which it dissipates in a puff of smoke. He considers calling Scott McCall but his decision process is interrupted by hunters that have surrounded his car and shoot into it repeatedly.

Scott wants to find Chris Argent to enquire about the bullet bearing the Arden crest discovered by the body of the dead hell-hound in last week's episode. He's with Malia and Lydia but takes off running when some hunters begin rapidly approaching. He is surrounded and wolfs out, prepared to fight, but then one of them turns out to be Sheriff Stilinski and all of the other hunters are actually just police officers. Sheriff Stilinski gets the rest of the officers to stand down, as does Deputy Parrish, and they show the pair the body of the deal hell-hound though they don't reveal the bullet bearing the Arden crest.

The new school counselor that killed the hellhound tells Liam she's schedules an appointment for him to come and talk to her. She later finds a knife stabbed into her office desk and an ominous message written on her white board that says "Opportunities multiply as they are seized".

One of the new lacrosse players puts on his helmet in preparation for practice but spiders emerge from it and swarm his face and crawl into his mouth.

Lydia determines that her vision is somehow connected to Eichen House. Scott and Malia continue their investigation into finding where the bullet came from. They head to Chris Argent's old base of operations and realise that he must be back in town and back in the business of being a hunter. Scott also realises that the password to get into Argent's computer is "Allison".

Deputy Parrish heads to Eichen House to learn more about the Hellhound that was taking up residence in there for the last hundred years. He and the Doctor hear the voice of a girl behind a locked door of a corridor asking for help. The Doctor wants to lock the unit down but Parrish threatens him into opening it and letting him in, though the Doctor locks Parrish into it immediately afterwards and hurries away.

The school counsellor becomes suspicious of one of the lacrosse players, believing him to be a supernatural creature. The expression on her face reads like she intends to hunt him down. Liam struggles to keep his anger under control to keep from wolfing out.

Scott and Malia down Chris Argent, who is in a deal to sell some guns that's about to go wrong. A shootout ensues and the teens help Argent to gain the upper hand.

Deputy Parrish finds numerous victims begging for help, having been subjected to severe electroshock therapy. The Doctor emerges and electrocutes Parrish before locking him in a cell designed to contain hell hounds, the same one that kept the previous hellhound locked up.The temperature is lowered considerably, with the intent to freeze him like the last hellhound. He grew disillusioned by the work of Eichen House to contain supernatural beings and began to believe the best solution was to kill them.

The school counsellor uses some wolfsbane to disarm the student that she previously set her sights on for being a werewolf. She beats him and he rapidly heals. She admires how incredible the healing ability is but also declares that no one should be able to do that. The werewolf student swipes her neck, leaving a deep scratch wound and uses her pause as an opportunity to get away.

Scott and Malia enquire about the bullet and Chris tells them he hasn't stamped a bullet since Allison died. He asks to see the bullet but Scott thinks that it fell out of his pocket during the shoot-out and is now likely lost in the sea of casings. Chris tells them to find the slug and they'll finds their killer.

Liam struggles to fix his broken locker door that he bent out of shape when punching it out of rage, eventually knocking it off completely. Mason and Corey come into the locker room to set up plans to study together but they are distracted when they notice a blood rail, which they follow to find a dead body seemingly completely removed of its skin. They determine that only one of the players is unaccounted for and run to the parking lot to check if his car is still there.

Lydia visits Eichen House and struggles to make her way through the corridors, remembering the traumatic torture she experienced when she was locked inside by the Doctors. She is searching for Jordan, who is unable to move due to his significantly lowered body temperature. When she has a auditory vision of Jordan being killed by the Doctor, she tracks them down and unleashes a Banshee scream just in time to keep Parrish from being shot in the head.

Malia and Scott bond over their shared traumas from being hunted. They are met in the forest by Chris Argent, who helps them track down a bullet shot during the attack on the Hellhound. The bullet is made out of silver. They realise that the person doing this hunting is a new Hunter, one that doesn't know what they are doing. They made bullets out of silver, which isn't actually an effective method because silver doesn't shoot straight in bullet form.

Liam, Mason, and Corey find Aaron, the student from earlier that got swarmed by spiders, sitting in an empty classroom. It's made all the more eerie considering it's late at night and the school is empty.

Scott, Lydia, Malia, and Chris determine that the common thread in these attacks is fear. Fear will make everyone afraid of them, the supernatural beings. Scared people will do things that are entirely unpredictable and dangerous.

The school counsellor is cornered in the woods by the werewolf student she attacked earlier. He prepares to strike her down but is shot in the shoulder and runs off. The shooter is revealed to be Gerard Argent, returned from the dead, and introduces himself as someone that's been doing what she's up to for far longer than her but recognises her raw talent.

Teen Wolf airs on Sundays on MTV at 10PM.

Teen Wolf S06E11 "Said the Spider to the Fly" Recap

It's summer at Beacon Hills and Lacrosse practice is underway. Scott is acting as assistant coach before he'll be heading off to university. Liam is wallowing after Hayden left to protect her sister and because of all the change to come. Liam is overcome from some stress and his eyes start to glow, forcing Scott to rush on the field to to try to coach him down from exposing himself. A wolf with a bloody mouth then comes onto the field and Scott advises everyone to get back. Getting in front of the group, he glows his alpha red eyes and the wolf promptly leaves back into the forest. Scott and Liam walk after it in search of answers but what they find is a whole pack of dead wolves, though it's unclear if they are regular wolves or supernatural ones. Either way, it's an ominous opening.

Lydia tells Malia to get up and help, as Liam was asking for her assistance due to her experience of living as a coyote. She would rather get ready for her upcoming trip to France and fantasize about men.

Scott is packing in preparation for leaving Beacon Hills and advises Liam to remember his mantra so he will be able to keep control of his shifting when Scott isn't there in person to help him through it.

Two men observe a patient at Eiken house that has apparently been there since the facility opened in 1912. The patient is frozen solid and covered in hardened volcanic ash but when one of them taps the surface, the figure starts to crack through. The man tries to lower the ice-cold room even more but the figure explodes out of his shell to reveal a flaming hellhound.

Liam is struggling to pick his classes. He wants to find a way to raise his GPA and his guidance counselor encourages him to take Spanish instead of Latin. She continues her advising by helping Corey and Mason. She encourages them to lean on her and assures them that whatever strange things they want to talk about will be kept confidential. None of them are interested in sharing until Nolan comes in, still shaken from seeing the wolf at practice. She tells him he can talk about the animal attack in the library and he says that he's sick of people claiming strange happenings are animal attacks when they're not. He says that the wolf at lacrosse practice was "some kind of wolf" and she pushes him to share what other kind of wolves he's seen before the scene cuts away.

Liam and Mason head to the library and find some books are missing but then a classroom is attacked by a pack of rats which draws their attention away. They reach it after the new hellhound leaves his position of observing the screaming students. Mason observes that the rats came from the vents so he and Liam follow the drain down into the sewage where they find a bloody, dead rat gang.

Scott is concerned to leave his mother behind and gifts her with an electric stun baton. She promises to call Liam if she needs help and reveals a supply of items she plans on using if needed.

Liam and Mason bring Malia down to analyse the rat gang and she determines that the rats got scared, got their tails tangled up when crawling all over each other in a panic and tore each other apart. Malia can smell the fear on the dead rats but isn't interested in staying to help their investigation because her rerouted plane to Paris will be coming in soon.

The new hellhound is at the police station, having knocked out the people in it, and listens to the police radio scan until he hears Deputy Parrish reporting in about an accident. He heads to the hospital where an accident is being worked on. Parrish spots the hellhound walking off down a distant hallway and follows him. Liam and Mason bring a dead rat to Scott's mother hoping to have her medically examine it but she doesn't want to at that particular moment in time. Parrish has a vision of the hellhound despite not having caught up to him yet.

The hellhound hides in a room and is seemingly listening to people's heartbeats like he did when the students were panicking about the rats. Liam is punched by an angry man that was in an accident and must run away due to his being briefly spotted having the glowing eyes and fangs. With his bloody claws digging into his palms, he runs toward an elevator. The hellhound senses him running by and chases after him but Liam is none the wiser to his being chased, being distracted by trying to control his transformation. The doors shut before the hellhound can get to him.

Lydia has a vision of entering an empty home. The phone rings but it's just a shrill tone on the other end of the line. Suddenly, the house is covered in cobwebs and there's no way to get out. There's sounds of people screaming and gunfire. A voice tells her that they "let it out" and she becomes tangled in the webs before coming out of the premonition. She determines that the group inadvertently let something out of the other world when they rescued their friends from the Riders on the Storm.

Parrish tracks the hellhound to the school and asks him what he is. The hellhound says they are the same. Parrish tries to question what his motives and intentions are and the hellhound says he's after something they let out (the same thing Lydia had a premonition of) and that thing must be stopped. Liam and Mason arrive at the school and witness the two just as the hellhound activates his powers and Parrish does the same before a fight breaks out. The guidance counselor from earlier is outside and hears the sounds of the fight. She handles some vials and gets a gun out of her car. The new hellhound gets the upper hand on Parrish and throws him into a wall, knocking him out. Liam tells Mason to run and attempts to fight the hellhound. The hellhound easily overpowers Liam long enough to listen to his heartbeat and determines that Liam is not the one he is looking for. Mason tries to attack the hellhound with a bat but the hellhound knocks him out and Liam becomes energized to fight the hellhound and get some good hits/scratches in. The two eventually stop fighting and the hellhound says that what he's after must be stopped and nothing else matters. Liam recites his mantra to return to his regular state and when he looks up the hellhound has disappeared.

Scott has packed up and is ready to leave for university but the truck stalls. When it finally starts, he sees Lydia standing in front of it and she tells him they can't leave.

Liam is concerned his wounds haven't healed yet but Mason tells him that it's hellfire so it will take longer. Liam is discouraged but Mason tells him he did well without Scott, advising him that things change and people move on. Liam understands this but says it still hurts.

Lydia and Scott stop Malia on her way to the airport to leave for Paris, saying they need her help. She  goes to leave but then relents and decides to stay and help, postponing her trip to Paris in the process. Lydia informs them that they let something out and must put it back. They are concerned that there will be a big price to pay, as this is what the Nematon has taught them.

The guidance counselor tracks the injured hellhound down in the forest and shoots him. At first, he retaliates by attacking her but she gets hold of a log and knocks him in the head long enough to regain her gun and shoot him in the head, killing him. Scott, Lydia, and Malia reach the scene and find the dead hellhound. They're confused, as it was said that you can't kill hellhound but when they find the shell casing from the gun, it bears the mark of Argent. The guidance counselor had already gotten away and returned to her car where she wipes the blood from her face. This guidance counselor has yet to be properly identified but she appears to be an Argent.

Scott, Lydia, and Malia contemplate having to call Stiles and bring him in on their case. He had called from Quantico, Virginia where he is entering the FBI academy and very excited about it. He left a voicemail saying he misses them and advises Scott to get out of Beacon Hills to live his life. They know that if they don't call him and what they're up against ends up being something big, he would never forgive him. Stiles is in a class and shown a video of a recent manhunt of "feral unsub" which Stiles recognises as Derek Hale. The instructor says that the man is wanted for mass murder.

Teen Wolf airs on Sundays on MTV at 10/9c.
