DREAMWORKS ANIMATION TELEVISION ANNOUNCES 2018 NEW YORK COMIC CON LINE UP

Highly-anticipated DreamWorks She-Ra and the Princesses of Power to lead with panel and Q&A on Thursday, Oct 4, at 3pm

Fan favorite DreamWorks Voltron Legendary Defender to return to NYCC with panel on Friday, Oct 5, at 10:30am

GLENDALE, CA – September 4, 2018 – DreamWorks Animation Television is set to present several jam-packed panels at New York Comic Con 2018, with executive producers and voice talent on hand from its upcoming Netflix original series DreamWorks She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, as well as the fan favorite Voltron Legendary Defender.  Each series will offer sneak peeks, panel discussions and fan Q&A’s. 

In addition to the panels, DreamWorks will also offer an immersive fan experience inspired by the imaginative world of the highly-anticipated series She-Ra and the Princesses of Power at Booth #502. The activation will include a larger-than-life She-Ra statue, as well as interactive photo opportunities that will transport guests straight to Etheria, the Whispering Woods and Hordak’s lair. Reservations are required to attend the fan experience. Please look out for more information on New York Comic Con’s social channels. 

Voltron Legendary Defender fans can pick up a New York Comic Con exclusive vinyl, co-produced by DreamWorks Animation Television and MONDO, which will include music from the entire series, and original cover artwork by the show's creative team. Lion Forge Comics is releasing a special comic book variant for Voltron Legendary Defender at Booth #1936. Co-writer Mitch Iverson will be participating in multiple signings at the Lion Forge booth on Friday, October 5 from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM and Saturday, October 6 from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM.

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment invites Los Angeles area fans to attend the World Premiere of LEGO® DC Comics Super Heroes - Justice League: Cosmic Clash at a family-friendly event on Saturday afternoon, February 13, 2016.

The screening will commence at Noon (12:00pm) at The Paley Center for Media (465 North Beverly Drive in Beverly Hills). The event will include a post-screening interactive panel discussion, photo opportunities with LEGO® DC Comics Super Heroes standees, an autograph signing on collectible posters, and special LEGO® prizes for all kids in attendance.

Khary Payton and Josh Keaton, the voices of Cyborg and Green Lantern, respectively, have joined the festivities -- which includes previously confirmed popular voice actors Troy Baker (Batman), James Arnold Taylor (Flash), Kari Wahlgren (Saturn Girl) and Yuri Lowenthal (Cosmic Boy), as well as producer Brandon Vietti, director Rick Morales and writer Jim Krieg. Additional talent will be announced as confirmed.

A limited number of free tickets are still available to the general public, and families are encouraged to come enjoy the film and festivities. Fans wishing to receive free tickets to the Los Angeles event on February 13 must RSVP via email to LEGOCCLA@gmail.com.

The body of all fan RSVP emails MUST include the first & last name of the entrant, a valid email address, and how many tickets are being requested. No need for pleas, no begging, no extra words – just three simple lines of information.

In LEGO® DC Comics Super Heroes – Justice League: Cosmic Clash, the brilliant, hyper-obsessive-compulsive, super-computer Brainiac is combing the universe for new additions to his collection of worlds when he stumbles upon a ripe planet for his taking – Earth. But Brainiac quickly discovers Earth has a “firewall” – the Justice League.  When Brainiac cleverly displaces several members of the Justice League to other time periods in Earth’s history, Batman, Flash and Cyborg must build and use the Cosmic Treadmill to race across time to retrieve their comrades – while members of the Legion of Super Heroes attempt to hold off Brainiac’s assault. Only time will tell in this battle for the fate of the Earth and the Justice League!

'Die Hard' screenwriter Steve E. de Souza, GoBots & popular animated super hero TV series spotlight Warner Archive panels at WonderCon

Warner Archive Collection presents an incredibly eclectic quartet of panels at WonderCon this coming weekend, April 18-20, spotlighting everything from popular animated super hero TV series and kooky cartoon music to real-life heroes in animation (and back again) and the original transforming toy robots, The GoBots.

The talent on these four panels also covers the entertainment gamut, highlighted by the appearance of renowned screenwriter Steven E. de Souza (Die Hard, 48 HRS.) discussing his 1987 cult classic TV movie, "The Spirit"; beloved animation creators Alan BurnettKelly Ward, Giancarlo Volpe and James Tucker; popular voice actor Josh Keaton; and making his first-ever Con appearance, the heralded voice of the GoBots' Leader-1, Lou Richards.

Also notable amongst the panel presentations will be the exhibition of unaired, never-before-seen footage from the animated series, "Beware the Batman" during the "Popular TV Super Heroes Look Better in Blu" panel on Saturday from 11:30am-12:30pm in Room 300DE.

In addition to the four panels, Warner Archive Collection will have an action-packed, informative booth presence on the convention floor of WonderCon. And immediately following the Saturday afternoon panel, the Warner Archive booth will host an autograph signing with Steven E. de Souza starting at approximately 1:15pm.
