A man gets new skin.

In the Emerald City, war preparations continue. Eamonn sees the witches approach. He orders that the kingdom be protected at all costs, even if they have no weapons against magic. The monkeys take flight, spelling Ozma in their wake. A door bursts open. Ozma and her witches have arrived. West is by her side. Ozma doesn't like that the people are afraid of her. West asks where the Wizard is. The guard doesn't know, and West beings to kill him. Ozma orders her to leave him, using her title to halt West's hand. Once released the guard goes to kill Ozma, and West kills him first. She warns Ozma to figure out her rule and quickly.

The Wizard make plans in his camp to win his war. Enclosed in chambered tent, Dorothy awaits. He realizes that it was Dorothy who wielded power, not him. She was the one who got to Nahara to help, to raise the giant. He realizes that Dorothy did no do what he asked her to do. She said that she would stop a war, not kill Glinda. The Wizard shows Dorothy his plan. He's going to gun down the girls. Dorothy is horrified, the witches are just doing as Glinda tells them.

The Lion, Eamonn, approaches Ozma. She cowers in fear, but he lays down his sword at her feet. She unmasks him, and faces the man who killed her parents. She asks why, and he admits it was to save himself. He let her live because he has a daughter her own age, and couldn't kill her. West tells her that he made his choice, that she should make hers. Ozma calls for his family to be brought forth. Eamonn's family is brought to Ozma, while Eamonn begs for their lives. Ozma doesn't kill them, she makes them forget him. He took away her family, and so she took away his. She strips him of everything, and curses him to be the beast. The witches hiss at him, and the people look at him with distaste as he leaves Oz. West admits that when Ozma's father died, she thought justice died with him. She gives Ozma her crown, and calls her queen. Ozma places her crown on her head, and all the Emerald City bow before her.

In the Wizard's camp they practice their shooting skills. Jack comes to kill the Wizard. He takes out the Wizard's men, and has the Wizard in hand. He begs for his life, he wasn't the one who killed Lady Ev. The Wizard tells Jack and Jane that Jane's daughter is near. Dorothy is here. Jane finds Dorothy in the field, but before they can have a reunion, the witches arrive. They bees to swarm the camp, engulfing Dorothy until she lashes out with the gauntlets, freezing them all in place. Glinda appears in the center with Dorothy, noting that she's still there. Dorothy tells her that there doesn't have to be war. Glinda thinks otherwise since he awoken the stone giant. She admits that she woke him. She wants Glinda to return to the North, and take her girls. Glinda brings forth Sylvie. Dorothy loved her and saved her even though she knew what she was. Sylvie begins to shake, to kill the giant. Dorothy uses her own power, to try to save the giant as Glinda mocks her. Dorothy uses the Giant to knock back Glinda's power, exposing all of the witches in the meadow. The task is too great for Sylvie. The Wizard kills Sylvie, and the war starts. Witches are shot dead. Glinda blames it all on Dorothy. She chose the wrong side. Dorothy fights her way over to the Wizard, threatening him to end it all. The girls begin to rise again. None of them were killed by the bullets. Only a witch can kill a witch, Glinda tells him. They are not the Beast Forever.

That Beast has risen, doned his skin. He screams out as wings spring from his back.

Glinda leads her girls into the city. She's not so happy to see West already in the throne room. West tells her that there is no fight left in Emerald City. Glinda brought the witches back from extinction, and shes come to get what is hers. West asks her if she remembers the King she served, she does. West presents her with Ozma.

Dorothy brings the Wizard inside, she wants him to help her get inside.

West wants Glinda to help guide Ozma, but Glinda doesn't want that. West fears that Glinda will divide Oz, as the Wizard did. She pleas with her sister to take her hands to do the right thing.

The beast takes flight over a broken tin man.

The Wizard and Dorothy climb the stairs. She doesn't want to go home, she wants to send him home. He pretends to know what he's doing, but the Wizard doesn't want to go back. He had nothing in the other world, his life left no mark. He tries to get Dorothy to see that her life had no meaning back in Oz. The Wizard has a complete breakdown as he tells her that her mother isn't back in Kansas. He tries to break his machine, and Jane shoots him. Dorothy wants to know why Jane interfered. She admits that she gave Dorothy to Karen, and it was a mistake. Jane tattooed Dorothy when she was a child, and she knows Dorothy has questions, but there's no time. Jane made a promise to protect Dorothy, and that meant sending her away.

The Beast flies over the lion.

Jane gets the machine up and running. She made the machine before the Wizard took it from her.

The Beast flies over the Scarecrow.

Jane tells Dorothy to get into the machine made vortex, that they have to go. Jane promises to be behind Dorothy. She closes the door as Dorothy screams for her mother. She's protecting Dorothy as she always has and she will until the day she dies. The tornado spins wildly.

The beast passes over Glinda, Ozma and West.

Dorothy wakes up ruins. Shes back home. She heads down into the storm shelter and finds Karen bleeding. She covers her and waits as sirens approach.

Dorothy looks out the window as she picks at her bland lunch. She looks at the scarecrow in the field, and she has to get moving. She says shes going to check on Karen. Aunt Em stops her, tells her to sit. She needs to take care of herself. The sheriff wants her to make a statement. She claims to not remember much. She went to get help for Karen, and she got swept up, and ended up in almost the same place as she left. She was only gone for ten minutes. Dorothy notices her aunt's fingers are black, Em claims its from the walnuts. Dorothy takes a walk, and she sees Toto. She approaches her dog with hesitation, since she left him in Oz. She pets him, and finds Lucas behind her. Dorothy keeps telling herself its just a dream, but Lucas insists that he's not there to hurt her. Her mother sent him. She asks where Jane is, and he breaks the news that her mother is a prisoner of the Beast Forever. He's come to bring her home.

Eamonn wants to accompany the Wizard when he meets the witches, but the Wizard wants him to stay behind and watch his city. With the guns from Av, the witches are no match.

West thinks that Tipp has been hiding things from her. She has Ozma's dagger. When the Wizard slew the beast, he killed Ozma and her parents. Or West thinks that maybe they hid Ozma. She would have been about Tipp's age. Tipp was a boy, and that's all she wants to be. West points out that she was hidden for a reason. Tipp wonders what type of a person her parents were. West tells her that they were both born for greater things, they were born to fly. She grabs Tipp, and takes to the skies.

Dorothy paces the room with a pregnant woman. She knows that they have to check on the woman sometime. She's imprisoned for breaking her vows of celibacy, she'll get a trial, but Dorothy wont. She'll be charged with kidnapping Glinda's husband

Glinda sits with Lucas/Ronan. She missed him so much. Shes the one that put the spell on Ronan, to protect him, but maybe she made the spell too good. She asks him how long he was with Dorothy. He tells her that she isn't a bad person. Glinda wonders what he did with Dorothy, and he tells her that he only did what was necessary. She wants him to put his affairs into order, and shows him just what he's been missing.

Lucas/Ronan pays Dorothy a visit. He doesn't want her to call him Lucas anymore. Dorothy tells him that it doesn't matter what she calls him. He seems confused, and wants her to convince Glinda that she isn't a threat, but she can't do that. She's a definite threat to their marriage.

Lucas/Ronan has sex with Glinda, but she 's far more into it than he is.

Glinda walks with Sylvie, telling her that they're going to test her, and help her reach her full potential. She asks after Dorothy and Lucas. Glinda ignores her question. She introduces Sylvie to the others as Leith, apparently they should remember her.

Glinda tells another of the initiates to get rid of Dorothy. The girl goes to do her mistress's bidding, and finds Dorothy trying to help the pregnant woman give birth. The baby is breach, and Dorothy tells her to get Glinda to help with the baby. The girl runs off.

Jack awakens to a pair of servants. They offer him breakfast, a bath, or some oil for his odd places.

West takes Tipp to a secret sacred with spot. They don't keep witches, just pieces of them that hold magic. She gives Tipp the option to ingest one of the most powerful witches, to gain power. It's never been done, but its a way to gain power. Tipp takes the opportunity. She drinks down the contents, and gets the memory of the witch it once was. She experiences her death at the hands of a soldier in lion armor, and West screams out when she can't rouse Tipp.

The butler tries to occupy Jack, but he wants to see the Queen. The Butler refuses, but Jack presses. Lady Av is less than pleased to see him as well. She makes it clear she's busy.

Sylvie sits as the other girls eat. Lucas tells her to eat, and she reluctantly goes to do that. But as she goes to eat, her bowl keeps moving away from her. The other girls think that its funny, but Sylvie doesn't think its funny.

Glinda comes to check on Dorothy and the mother. There are no doctors. Dorothy has some medical training, but not much. Glinda gets the girl to help them deliver the baby. Glinda takes the woman's pain. Lucas comes in to assist, and is quick to be by Dorothy's side. Dorothy reaches in and turns the baby, and the baby is born. Dorothy and Lucas share a look over the baby, that doesn't go unnoticed by Glinda. Dorothy hands the baby to the new mother, and Glinda shouts Lucas from the room.

West has Tipp's body in a pool. She's become another of West's regrets. She was to be protected, and now she will be by the waters and powers of the witches. She releases Tipp to fall beneath the water.

Glinda pulls the petals from a rose, as Lucas approaches. He tells her that winter hasn't taken her roses, and she wonders if its a metaphor. She won't look at him. She doesn't see a point in it anymore. She asks him what he felt before, he felt loneliness. Her spell didn't make him a different person, just his memory. He does love her, but he knows they can't live the way they are. They won't. War is upon them. His life will depend on which side he chooses.

The Wizard splits his forces. Some will head to Av for the weapons, while the others get into position.

Jane works in her shop when Jack pays her a visit. He's now living the good life with the queen. Jane asks about Tipp. Tipp was a friend, and only a friend, and a complicated one at that. Lady Av isn't complicated. Jane is packing up shop, she's leaving because she refused to make weapons. Jack won't let Lady Av fire her, but Jane knows otherwise. He thought he had lost his heart when she found him, but it seems like he's found it.

Glinda and Dorothy walk her white halls. Dorothy doesn't want to be toyed with, but Glinda isn't planning on killing her. She finds it odd, since she thought Dorothy was coming to kill her, but since she's been there she's shown her another side. She knows that Dorothy also saved her husband. She takes Dorothy to a room with broken girls, girls that were pushed past their limits. She's willing to sacrifice every girl she has in the upcoming war if she has to. She wants Dorothy to find a way to fix these girls, to save them. She leaves Dorothy with the huge task and no guidance.

It's dinnertime, and poor Sylvie isn't enjoying it again. Again she tries to eat, and her bowl keeps scooting away. This time, instead of turning her bowl into stone, she uses her powers and steals all of the girls' bowls. This time, the girls all applaud.

Glinda trims her roses. West arrives. She wants to offer Glinda herself, she forgives her for hiding their mother. West is ready to redeem herself and serve her, and her mother. She's finally clear headed, and clean. Glinda tells West that their mother thought West would be her successor, over everyone else. All the light has left West, and Glinda refuses to give her what she wants.

Lady Av has had a long day, and she's ready to hit the sheets. Jack is still upset about Jane, but Lady Av doesn't want to talk about it. Jane had a purpose, and she no longer does. Plus Lady Av doesn't like to be told no. Jack tries to get her to understand that people aren't just there for her pleasure. She pushes people away before they can leave. She tells Jack he's no longer bound to her, and she waits for him to leave her too.

Dorothy looks over the girls, tries to offer comfort where she can. Lucas brings in another girl, who pushed herself too hard. She asks him if he plans to bring Sylvie to her like this broken. Lucas isn't sure there is another way to combat the Wizard. Dorothy has had enough. Her gauntlets come out, and she heads after Glinda. She finds Glinda alone in bed, and wraps her up in her sheets, hanging the witch in a cocoon. Lucas comes and stops her, as she strangles Glinda with her power, telling her that she'll have to kill him first. Dorothy lets her go, and leaves. Glinda is livid that Lucas doesn't hunt her down. She wants Dorothy's head.

Dorothy tries to navigate Glinda's white halls as she searches for Sylvie. She finds the room Sylvie is sleeping in, but Sylvie doesn't want to go with her. She stands behind her “sisters.” Dorothy leaves without her.

Glinda tells Lucas that the man that she loved would have killed Dorothy to protect her. She wants that man back. He tells her to make him that man again then. There is only one spell he can't break, and that's the spell that Dorothy has over him, and his heart. He begs her to use the magic she has to break the spell. Glinda pulls out his dagger, and he asks for death. She wants to free his heart, and to do that Dorothy must die. Dorothy rides away from Glinda's fortress.

Lady Av sits in her throne room. Jack watches everything as the Wizard arrives. He wants his weapons. The soldiers of Av draw their weapons.

Eamonn sits watching the fire. His wife asks if war is coming, and it is. He opens a chest, which holds inside his lion armor.

West paces, talking to herself. Shes reliving her past sins. The screams of her fallen sisters haunt her, as she had them drink away their fears. With her magic she opens both of her wrists, and falls down bleeding on the symbol in the middle of the floor. Tipp finds her there.

The Wizard's guard goes through the town, to collect girls to be checked for witches. One man pleas with the Captain. He's known them for a long time. He warns them to flee, go to their homes, and lock themselves away for safety. The Captain goes to the Wizard with his report. He knows the Wizard is losing the city. But the wizard thinks that the hidden witches are more dangerous.

Sylvie is safe, and Lucas can't figure out why the Wizard's men aren't pursing them. He finds it odd that the Wizard is protecting Dorothy. Dorothy has a connection with him, as Lucas does with Glinda.

Ev is more hositle than normal. She's mourning her father, and she wants Jack to leave. She's having quite the pity party as she demands that the carriage stop, and Jack to leave. She leaves him behind in the screaming forest.

Lucas wants to head to the farm house that Elizabeth mentioned. They should make it by dark. Toto barks, and Dorothy notices soemthing is amiss. Sylvie lies in the grass, unaware of the wolves running towards her. Dorothy yells for Sylvie, but with her shells in, she doesn't hear anything. Dorothy's power manifests, and with a scream, Dorothy flattens everything in the meadow.

Back in the carriage, Dorothy holds a sleeping Sylvie. She thinks that the witches taking her hearing was cruel, but Lucas thinks it was to help her, not hurt her. He's impressed with Dorothy's power. The gauntlets are a part of her. They arrive at the farmhouse, and Lucas goes to look around. Dorothy and Sylvie play I spy for a moment, but then Dorothy wants Sylvie to be able to experience everything. With a little coaxing she removes the shells and helps Sylvie focus, and not fear the noises. Lucas watches it all, and he's afraid for Dorothy. He tells her that she's going to have to give up Sylvie.

West dreams, when the Wizard comes to call. Tipp protects West. One of his guards thinks Tipp is nothing more than a whore, but she's not, and she gives him plenty to think about. The Wizard wants West to help him check out the girls he's rounded up, and tell him which are witches. Tipp pulls West upright to make her decision. West doesn't want to kill any witches. The Wizard claims that Glinda is the enemy, and that he wants to help save the girls. West wants him to give her any witches she finds, and help protect them. The Wizard gives her his word.

Sylvie watches Dorothy prepare dinner. Dorothy admits to Lucas that she doesn't want to give up Sylvie. Sylvie belongs to Glinda he tells her, but Glinda isn't' her mother, and Dorothy doesn't feel that she needs to hand her over. Lucas thought they were on the same side, and they should be. Neither want Sylvie fighting in a war that could kill her, but Lucas isn't sure that makes them on the same side.

West walks among the girls that the Wizard has rounded up. She announces that none of them are witches, that when he finds one he'll know.

The soldiers continue their witch hunt, chasing one girl into a dyeing building. The men search around vats, and when they corner the girl she begins to levitate before blasting the doors off.

Jack makes his way though the noisy forest, squeaking all about. His finds are already rusted from that little trip into the puddle. Soon he finds himself unable to move.

Sylvie asks Dorothy if she has a mother. She does, but she doesn't know her. Her Aunt Em is like a mother, and she loves her dearly. Dorothy tells her one day that she will find her mother. Once asleep, Lucas tells Dorothy that he'll take first watch. Dorothy can't let Lucas continue to sacrifice himself. She tells him that the Wizard Guards aren't coming. He let them go, he wants to help her. Lucas is confused. Dorothy admits that she lied to him, because if he fights for Glinda then they're not on the same side. Lucas softens toward her. He's fighting for her, and she for him. He kisses Dorothy.

The Wizard looks at the aftermath of the young witch's outburst. The Wizard doesn't think they need West if the Witch killed the guards and herself. West doesn't think that the witch is dead. West walks into the fire and gets the young girl out. As the pair emerge, the Wizard calls for the Witch to be captured. A pit like cage traps the witch and she is furious. West does what she can, but its not much. The Wizard pulls away West and Tipp with his guards. West reminds the Wizard of his promise, but amid the angry town, there is no going back for the girl.

The green wave threatens to close in. West reminisces about the death of all her sisters. She did to the young witch, what she did to the others. She made them forget their fear, and it killed them. And now she did it again.

Jack remains frozen as the forest wails around him. Lady Ev has come back for him. She comes on horseback, laughing at his misfortune, but she's come with an oil can. Jack doesn't want her oil, but the alternative is being stuck in the forest. He lets her oil him, and she gets a little frisky. As Queen she toys with him, and he enjoys it, but she stops abruptly. He's atleast back to moving.

Dorothy cuddles against Lucas, kissing him as he wonders what happens next. One option would be to forget the outside world, and just stay in their cocoon. And even though Dorothy has never been happier, she plans on returning home. If Dorothy can keep Glinda from going to war then the Wizard will take her home. Lucas realizes that she already made the deal. She let Sylvie love her, let him love her. But Dorothy is doing this to save Sylvie. She prepares to leave, but Lucas wants her to face her fears first. She's walking out on them before they can do the same to her. She apologizes, but she plans to leave anyways. The door is locked. As Dorothy tries to get the door open, the entire house begins to roll, turning everything upside down. The house finally comes to a stop. Sylvie is all Dorothy can think about. When they find Sylvie, she's shaking. Dorothy realizes that Sylvie is the one doing this. Dorothy asks Sylvie if she would like to come to Kansas with her, both of them could go. Sylvie likes that idea.

Back at the Palace of Ev, it now belongs to Lady Ev. Her father's suite is now hers. She tells Jack that she use to play with the crown, but it was just a game, not what she wanted. He tries to leave as she gets all weepy, but she asks him to stay. Her father was the only one who ever saw her as she truly is. She goes to remove her mask, wanting someone else to see her. But Jack stops her. Telling her that she doesn't need to remove her mask. He already sees her. He kisses her, and she lets him, before she undresses before him.

The Wizard addresses the townspeople. He tells them that he lied to them, and he's deeply ashamed. He releases the girls. He thought that he could control magic, but he was wrong. He wants it extinguished. He tells them that his council made the ultimate sacrifice. That they gave their lives to try to apprehend the threat. In reality he threw them all into the pit with the young witch even though Elizabeth confessed she was the spy. The Wizard announces that the witches themselves are the Beast.

Tipp heads to the pit and sees the aftermath of the council sacrifice. All of the witches are nothing more than ash, and the young witch lies in the center of the pit twitching.

In the meadow, West mourns the young witch, who still lies twitching. The Wizard exhausted her magic. Tipp offers West a dagger. West breaks her vow and sets the little girl free. She sends her magic off. West sees the dagger, and asks where she got it from. Tipp tells her that she took it from where she was raised. West reveals that the king gave it to his daughter, the princess Ozma.

Lucas questions Dorothy's plan. It seems simple. Dorothy will use the gauntlets if she needs to to get home. If she wants something bad enough they will manifest and help her. The trio head into Glinda's home. They're stopped by one of Glinda's girls. Glinda thanks Dorothy for returning Ronan and the girl to her. Dorothy hasn't come to return anything to her. She finds the name Dorothy has given Lucas funny, but she will reveal all to her. Glinda kisses Lucas, and he “remembers.” He's firmly on Glinda's side now, and now she's surrounded by Glinda's girls. Even though Dorothy has saved him countless times, he pledged himself to Glinda first, and that's where he plans to stay.

Dorothy wakes riding a horse, with a bag on her head. Shes brought through the city, to West. West looks her over, wondering if shes a good witch or a bad one.

Lady Ev arrives with her father and tin man with much fanfare. She notes that the Wizard wants sometihng. Her father takes a notice of Jack. He's indentured to her for the price of his metal.

The Wizard's guard, Eamonn returns home with Liam, and the girl. His daughter is surprised to see him, and Liam is suspicious. Eamonn knew him once. He was once a great soldier. All Liam knows is that he was found in limbo, and left for dead. Eamonn is sure that he did not betray the other soldiers. He urges Liam to stay put while he looks into things, and then he falls over from his wounds.

Ojo tells West that Dorothy is the one that killed her sister, and he wants what she promised him. He wants his wife free. West tells him that her magic can do many things, and she will return him his wife tomorrow. She sends him away. West tells Dorothy that it really doesn't matter if shes a good or bad witch. West thinks Dorothy is lying when she says that she isn't a witch. She tells West to look into her bag. West finds the gun, holding it on Dorothy. West isn't easily loved, and Dorothy murdered the only person able to love her. She pullst he trigger, but lucky for Dorothy, West had dropped the magazine, and theres not a bullet in the gun. Feeling lied to, West cold cocks Dorothy.

The Wizard proposes a toast to August, but really to himself. He pats himself on the back for his vanquishing of the Beast. He needs the Kingdom of Evs help to build weapons and kill the beast. Lady Ev asks about expert council surrounding the Wizard. Anna tells her account of the signs, but Elizabeth is clearly against her. Lady Ev toys with their emotions, goading them all.

West contacts her sister, and tells her that she has their sister's killer. Glinda wants her to wait, but West is a bit impulsive. West yells at Tipp, and Tipp gives West a little bit of insight, which West appreciates. She upgrades Tipp's status, and tells another girl Miranda to take over her former duties.

Miranda heads to check on Dorothy, who is trying to get free. Miranda doesn't try to hide the sewer entrance, but she does drive the glass Dorothy was attempting to reach into her foot.

Liam is surprised by the little girl. She tells him that Dorothy is near. He asks how she knows, she knows by her heart.

West pays Dorothy a little visit. When Dorothy rises to attack her, West uses her powers to restrain her. West wants answers before Glinda arrives. She wants to know what her sister was planning on coming to tell her before she died. Dorothy doesn't know. West asks about K. Chapman, but Dorothy doesn't know much about her either. She was her mother, and that is all she knows. West is surprised she knows nothing about her mother. Her own mother birthed all the witches of Oz, and still she knew her. She muses how awful she must be for her mother to throw her away. When Dorothy falls to the ground, the gauntlets appear. West tries to take her sister's gauntlet, but they react against her.

The Wizard asks if he can count on August to assist him. August wants his dog back. He died, maybe last year, and he wants him back. The Wizard heads straight to Lady Ev. He asks how long shes been ruling. She doesn't remember when the beast last came. The Wizard saved Oz, but he left her kingdom to drown, her mother to die. She wants nothing more than to see Emerald City and the Wizard himself destroyed. When the beast returns all her dreams will come true.

Dorothy tries to escape with no luck. Dorothy pleas with Tipp for help. Tipp tells her that she doesn't recognize her. Dorothy helped Tipp when she had nothing to gain from it. Tipp isn't grateful, she blames Dorothy for what happened. She does what she wishes Dorothy had done and walks away.

Liam and Sylvie go walking though the city, in search of Dorothy.

Its not too long before Dorothy gets company, someones she least expects, her mother. Dorothy is a smart girl, and surely, she sees right through West's disguise. Dorothy wants to believe her mother. She tells her that if she just tells West what she knows about her sister's death then she'll let them both go. She shares her memories with her “mother.” Once satisfied, West slaps her and leaves.

Lady Ev orders Jack about. Jack doesn't want to play with his crazy masked mistress anymore. He wants to know what she wants of him. She wants a friend, but she doesn't know how to be one. He puts it in simple terms, by earning it. She wonders if a festival could be the start of their friendship.

Eamonn goes tot he Wizard with his story of Dorothy felling him. He's unsure of the magic she used on him. The Wizard looks at the bullet that was removed from Eamonn's body.

Tipp changed her mind about helping Dorothy. She doesn't want to be responsible for someone else's death. Miranda catches the pair as Dorothy prepares to leave. She's more than happy to turn them in to West, after she kills them.

Glinda finally arrives. She wants to know about Dorothy, and how long she's had her. Glinda claims to harbor no secrets from West. She claims that she hadn't seen East in years, which West is surprised to hear. Miranda is the only one in the room. Glinda leaves in a huff. Miranda blames it all on Tipp, but West doesn't believe her. She tosses Miranda's dead body down the sewer.

Jack tells Lady Ev that he's sorry about her father, but Lady Ev isn't. She asks if this is what it feel like to be normal, but she won't reveal why she wears masks until they're friends.

The Wizard comes to Anna gleefully. He shows her the bullet. It is something that can kill the beast forever, and really give them something to celebrate.

Dorothy makes it to the festival, where she dons a mask and disappears into the crowd.

Liam and Sylvie are finally discovered. Some Wizard guard close in on him. He draws his sword on them. One claims that they tried to get a peek into his box, and he cut down 10 until he was stopped. Sylvie runs back to him. He realizes that hes done a lot of bad things. He asks her to let him go, to do no magic and let him go.

Lady Ev reaches for Jack's hand as they continue their walk. Some hoodlums come to grab Lady Ev's mask. Jack steps in to defend her, but gets roughed up until he remembers that he's a tin man now. He takes down all her attackers, and Lady Ev looks at him differently. He wonders if shes scared of him, but shes not. She kisses him. He tells her that friends don't do that. She decides she wants to do something else.

Elizabeth shows West the day that her sister died. West has seen all she wants to see.

The Guards take Liam to Eamonn. He tells him to release him, but Liam doesn't want to be released. He commited the crime, and he wants to pay for it.

Ojo comes for his wife, he wants what West promised him. She has not intentions of making good on her promise. Everyone lies.

Toto finds Sylvie.

Dorothy slips into the Wizard's palace. Gun drawn she looks around the Wizard's room, and finds things are not what they seem. Pink Floyd plays on the walkman. Dorothy realizes that they are from the same world, and the Wizard reveals that he knows her.

Creepy lab setting, the patient gets a shock.

Tipp, distraught over what she did to Jack prepares to jump off a bridge. The Captain of the guard tells her that no one deserves that fate. Tipp isn't sure he's right. She offers to kill for him if he lets her join him. With no family, he may have a place for her.

Lucas and Dorothy move slowly through the woods. Dorothy thinks that they should head back to the yellow brick road, so they can move faster. Lucas points out that the Wizard's guard are monitoring the road. Toto barks, and Lucas wonders what he wants with him. Dorothy tells him she thinks he's just grateful to have him. Lucas points out that it was Dorothy who saved him. A little girl runs for Lucas for protection.

The Wizard's Captain is brought to the pool.

Elizabeth wants to travel forth, but the Wizard denies her. She tells him that at the least he still needs council, but he doesn't want hers. He goes to free Anna, she has work to do.

The patient is Jack. He wakes with Tipp on his mind. The woman looking over him gives him something to calm and knock him out, as she pulls out her big saw, claiming that what she's about to do won't hurt a bit.

The Captain takes Tipp to her new home. The mistress of the house pays the guard well, she's in Glinda's house now, and she's about to become one of her girls whether she wants to or not.

Dorothy tries to talk to the little girl, but she doesn't seem to understand her. The little girl seems to know Lucas. Dorothy isn't willing to leave the little girl behind, no matter the consequence. Dorothy wants to take the girl back to the village.

Jack awakens again. The woman introduce herself as Jane. She tells him that he was quite alone when they found him, they thought he was dead. And they had to make a few changes. Jane unveils his body. I think we've just found our tin man.

Dorothy crosses the fence with the little girl in tow. Lucas stays behind with Toto. Dorothy promises her that if they cannot find her parents she'll take her back to Lucas. She notices that there is something in the girl's ear. She removes the shell, and the girl hears too much. She gives the shell back.

Anna wonders over the turn of events. She thought that the Wizard was displeased with her. He's not anymore. She tells him what she thinks about the beast. They know its past, but Anna thinks that it will come from sky. That it will have a heart, and mind and unrelenting strength. The Wizard thinks that means that he has no way of winning, but Anna knows that means it can be beat.

Jack struggles with his new limbs. Jane pushes him to keep trying, to keep going, but this isn't what Jack wanted. He thinks she should have left him to die.

Glinda talks with her new initiates, when Tipp's outbursts draws her attention. Tipp doesn't want to be there, the Captain lied to her.

Dorothy finally finds where the little girl belongs, but she's not quite ready to let her go yet. She wants to see where Sylvie lives. Sylvie's “parents” reluctantly lead her to their home, but don't let her go much further. Lucas rushes to get Dorothy before the guard can find her, but she's not ready to leave Sylvie. Lucas pulls her away as Dorothy tells him that the people that have her aren't her parents. Dorothy hides from the guard, drawing her weapon in case. Lucas warns her that if she shoots the gun, then she'll end up caught. Lucas cautions her to think. Dorothy asks for his clothes.

Glinda and West fight over the orphans. West offers Tipp a position as a chance to feel, to be loved, to be a courtesan. Tipp doesn't like her choices to be a nun or whore.

Jack is still trying to get his wits about him, when he meets a new person. She's unlike anyone she claims, unwilling to give him any help. She looks over a cache of masks, wondering which she'll don today. She chooses another mask, and leaves.

The villagers are unhappy over the turn of events. They've all lost someone, and they're blaming the Wizard. The Wizard claims that there is no magic, but Anna finds something that may prove otherwise. She touches it, and it bursts out, knocking her out. Whatever was there is no more.

Dorothy heads back to Sylvie's house in Lucas's clothes. She lets herself in, and finds Sylvie shaking, her parents turned to stone still holding her hands. Could this be our lion? Dorothy wonders how she did this, but she still wants to save the little girl, and take her back to Lucas. She asks the little girl if she can help her, and Sylvie agrees. Dorothy breaks her free, literally.

The Wizard takes Anna to recover. She tells him that he has others capable of counseling him, but he's quite enamored of her. She chose that path that she's on, but she cannot stray she tells him. There may be other villages with those not following him. The Wizard asks if he should kill the man, but Anna sees another way. Not to make him a martyr, but to earn his trust.

Tipp tries to enjoy her bath, but its hard to do that, she has a bath mate. The girl thinks that getting adopted should be the goal, and Glinda would be a good keeper. Tipp reveals that West wanted her too, and the girl tries to sway her over to West, with good reason. The girl is West.

Dorothy makes her move with Sylvie in tow, when she's stopped by the Wizard's guard. They see through her disguise, as Lucas looks on helplessly.

Jack continues to make progress. Jane asks about the girl that was in the lab earlier. She asks if the girl was cruel. She wasn't cruel, just unusual. Jane has brought clothes for Jack, they're going on an outing. Jack knows something is wrong, but Jane doesn't reveal what.

West looks out the window. Tipp confronts her. She knew she was the one in the water. West isn't looking for another scolding. Tipp asks her if what she said was true. It was, but she has to work for it. Tipp doesn't want to forget, she wants Magic.

The Wizard goes to talk to Jeremiah about the magic. He wants to know where the tunnel led. The Wizard knows that they lost people, and he understands that fear. Jeremiah tells him that Oz is a land of Enchantment, and Magic is its heart. The beast comes because it must, it comes to purify the land. He wants to know if Science can save his grandchild.

The guard charges Dorothy with killing East. He pulls the sword that Dorothy carries, demanding to know where the owner is. He goes full My name is Inigo Montoya, You killed my father. Prepare to die on Dorothy and she's forced to pull out her gun when he grabs Sylvie, who immediately starts shaking. Dorothy tries to calm her, and diffuse the situation. Lucas comes and grabs the girl, as the guard calls after him. Dorothy shoots him so that they can get away. In the aftermath, Lucas is surprised that someone knew him.

Jack struggles up the stairs, lots and lots of stairs. Jane helps him up one step at a time, and they finally make it to the top. She takes him to the King of Av and his daughter, the weirdo in the mask. Lady Av excuses Jane, and Jack is to be left alone with her. She's less than happy at Jack's protest of staying. Lady Av paid for his procedure, and she took a liking to him. Now she owns him.

Lucas finally realizes how different Dorothy's world is. Dorothy introduces Lucas to some “magic,” namely her phone playing some music.

The Wizard has convinced Jeremiah to his side. And Jeremiah faces his village calling for them to embrace the Wizard's teachings.

The Wizard travels off with a recovering Anna.

Dorothy tells Lucas that the guard didn't know him. He knew the man that Lucas was, not the man that he is now. They share a kiss under the moonlight. In the morning they awaken to the sound of someone coming. Lucas sends Dorothy off. She runs through the woods as he gathers up Sylvie. They're apprehended by the guard. Dorothy is knocked out by someone else.

The Wizard (Vincent D'Onofrio) seeks the aid of the Kingdom of Ev to build a weapons arsenal to help him defeat the Beast Forever.

Meanwhile, an old acquaintance may hold to the key to Lucas (Oliver Jackson-Cohen) recovering his lost memories.

Dorothy sleeps on Toto, until a shot wakes her up. She wakes, searching for Lucas, and finds him shirtless on the beach. She doesn't think he should have her gun. He doesn't think anyone should. When someone is killed with a gun, they have to work on it. Killing with a gun is too easy. He's just one man with a sword, but even many aren't as terrifying as her with the gun. He gives her back the gun, and they head back towards the road. The Circus heads off, and they notice an uproar. It's over the death of the Witch of the East, she was murdered, and the weather mourns. Wizard guards block the road.

Tipp is still worried over waking up a girl. Jack thinks that they should continue on, to find more medicine, and turn her back into himself.

Lucas worries over what he should do. Dorothy doesn't want him to butcher anyone. Lucas sees the guard heading right for them. Dorothy holds tight, and tells Toto to stay put, but he doesn't. She exits the car to find him, and Lucas grabs her, hiding her away in the bushes as the Wizard guard makes it to the car. They want to find Dorothy and kill her.

The Wizards wants to know how the trio were able to get so high up. Anna tells him that some believe that they flew. He heads for a closer look. She tells him that they're doing a ritual for suicide. The trio of witches float up and then off the edge, and their necks snap before they hit the ground, their bodies levitating even in death.

Dorothy wonder why the Wizard wants to kill her. Lucas wonders if she's more dangerous than he is. Dorothy knows where they should head, to the witch's castle. She knows the Wizard isn't the answer. She came on a tornado, she hopes she can leave on one.

The Wizard is a little traumatized over the latest events. Elizabeth goes over the beast's history, and they don't have much time before the beast kills them all soon. In private Anna contradicts the other. She has other ideas, easier ones that will explain where the suicidal witches came from, and what he beast is really up to.

The Witch of the West has a visitor.

Dorothy tells Lucas about her life back home, and how she found out that her parent's weren't really her parents. A guard thinks that Dorothy and Lucas has come to loot and steal, but they haven't. When Dorothy puts up her hands to defend herself, the Witch of the East's gauntlets appear on Dorothy's hands. He asks if she is his new mistress, and Dorothy takes up the claim. As she lowers her hands the gauntlet's disappear.

Tipp and Jack finally arrive at their destination. They head into town and straight into an inn for grub, but she doesn't like it. Things are too different. She just wants to get the medicine and get back to normal. Jack heads off to get her the medicine. A barmaid suggests that unless Tipp wants to make money off her boobs, that she should cover up. Tipp heads to the restroom, and after a little dilemma on which bathroom to use, gets a good look in the mirror. She doesn't like what she sees.

Sullivan shows Dorothy and Lucas around her new home. Sullivan asks about his former Mistress, if she passed peacefully. Dorothy tells him she wasn't there, but she believes she did. Dorothy asks to be taken to the cyclone. Sullivan is glad to hear that she's come to settle the elements before it ripped apart the castle. He takes Dorothy to cleanse herself in preparation, and directs Lucas to the servant's quarters. But first, he disarms Lucas, and Dorothy urges him to do what he's being asked. Lucas gives up his sword, and tries to talk some sense into Dorothy.

The Witch of the West gets a dressing down over the suicidal girls practicing magic that the Wizard has banned. She's not up for his threats, and she notices the Wizard's new companion. She's familiar with her, she knew the girl's mother intimately, as did the Wizard.

Dorothy purifies herself, and comes out looking every inch the mistress of the East. She's ready to settle the weather, or put her plan into motion. Dorothy comes face to face with the cyclone, the lake and whatever is swimming below the surface. Sullivan doesn't understand why she doesn't use the elements to get to the platform. Dorothy taps into the power at hand, and walks across the water, unleashing her power, and calming the cyclone. She disappears with it.

The Wizard goes out after Anna. He tells her he was born Frank Morgan, not the Wizard. Anna knows he harnesses lightning and Giants. The Wizard tells her the truth. He was a nobody, he worked hard to became the wizard because he denied it. The past doesn't define a person, nor their parents. He tells Anna that what matters is who she wishes to be, and how hard she's willing to work for it. Anna asks what her mother looked like, and the Wizard admits he doesn't remember. Anna is glad.

Tipp and Jack head to an apothecary for more medicine. Tipp doesn't know what was in the bottle, only that her guardian made it. The apothecary isn't sure he can replicate it, but he's willing to try.

Dorothy doesn't find herself where she's expecting. In the middle of an icy river, there is garbage strewn about. She pulls a shirt with K Chapman embroidered on it.

Anna interview's West's girls. Everyone does a little poppy, but the dead girls like old men, and helped them rise to the occasion. The Wizard chats with West. She's innocent of the crime that he's investigating. She's a cardinal witch, one of the last of her kind, and she's glad that he banned magic. She has all this power, and yet she was helpless to save others. To keep the beast away.

The Apothecary has bad news for Tipp. The medicine she asked for is banned, its actually magic. Her turning into a girl, is actually because the magic portion wore off. This is what she really is.

Anna gives the Wizard her findings. The magic did not come from West. She believes it came from the beast. The Beast will rise, and she thinks that it is coming for the Wizard. Furthermore, she knows that the Wizard doesn't have control of the Giants, that maybe he never did. She thinks that its in The Prison of the Abject, which is why he allowed to be reopened. She promises to keep his secrets, from even Glinda, but the Wizard has other ideas. She ends up in prison.

Dorothy returns and the cyclone comes back with her, and worse than ever. Dorothy cannot calm the store. Sullivan tells her that she was not suppose to bring back any revenant articles. She went to the wrong place. The item belonged to her mother. Sullivan realizes that she isn't who she claimed to be. Sullivan draws his sword, and takes Lucas hostage for some answers. She's not the new mistress, and she's sorry. Dorothy tells him that she lied, and East killed herself. Sullivan lets them make their escape as the cyclone begins ripping apart the palace. Dorothy admits that Lucas was right, she more dangerous than he is. Her mother was in Oz. Lucas thinks they should seek out the Wizard, but he wants Dorothy dead. Lucas asks what its worth. Dorothy heads to the yellow road, to seek out the Wizard.

Elizabeth advises him to animate the stone giants before they all burn. The wizard watches the snow fall. Anna does the same from her cell. The wizard may have just realized Anna knows more than he thought.

The wizard guard looks at new signs.

Tipp doesn't respond to Jack. Tipp can't believe the truth that she's just learned. Everything she knew, was wrong. Jack doesn't want to believe it. Tipp thought if he could get clear, he could find a life, but she knows different now. She was stolen, and yet she's still here. Jack shows her the Emeralds that he stole so they can stay together. Jack kisses her, and she loses it. Of all people, that was a huge betrayal. He doesn't know why he kissed her he says, but Tipp isn't listening, and when she pushes Jack, he falls below to his death.

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. — Aug. 29, 2016 — Launching the new year in dramatic style, NBC has set January premiere dates for three key midseason series — “The New Celebrity Apprentice,” now in Los Angeles and starring master of the boardroom Arnold Schwarzenegger; “Grimm,” which will begin its sixth and final seaso
n; and the epic, romantic and wondrous “Emerald City.”

“THE NEW CELEBRITY APPRENTICE”: Monday, Jan. 2, 8-10 p.m.

Sixteen celebrities are set to compete for their favorite charities when “The New Celebrity Apprentice” shifts to Los Angeles for its eighth season where twice-elected California governor and international movie superstar Arnold Schwarzenegger reigns over the boardroom.

Advising the new head of the boardroom this season will be world-class business minds, including investment guru Warren Buffett, one of the most successful businessmen in the world; former Microsoft CEO and Los Angeles Clippers owner Steve Ballmer; Tyra Banks, a supermodel, actress, TV host, producer, accomplished businesswoman and CEO of  the Tyra Banks Company and cosmetics brand, TYRA Beauty; actress, author and entrepreneur Jessica Alba, the founder and chief creative officer of the Honest Company and Honest Beauty; and Schwarzenegger’s trusted confidante and nephew, prominent entertainment attorney Patrick Knapp Schwarzenegger.

This season’s celebrity contestants vying for the coveted title of the Celebrity Apprentice and a $250,000 check to give to their designated charity are:

• Laila Ali — Retired four-time boxing world champion and two-time hall of famer, TV host, author, health and wellness expert and daughter of boxing legend Muhammad Ali
  

• Brooke Burke-Charvet — Actress, host, entrepreneur, fitness expert and CEO of ModernMom.com
  

• Eric Dickerson — Pro Football Hall of Fame running back who played for the Los Angeles Rams, Indianapolis Colts, Los Angeles Raiders and Atlanta Falcons
  

• Boy George — Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, lead vocalist for the pop band Culture Club, international DJ and a coach on the U.K. version of “The Voice,” as well as a top fashion designer and photographer
  

• Matt Iseman — “American Ninja Warrior” host, comedian, actor and licensed physician
  

• Carrie Keagan — Actress, producer, writer, entrepreneur and the former host of VH1’s Emmy Award-winning live morning talk show “Big Morning Buzz Live with Carrie Keagan”
  

• Carson Kressley — Emmy Award-winning television star, celebrity stylist, author and fashion designer, as well as a successful horse show exhibitor who owns saddlebred horses
  

• Lisa Leslie — Naismith Hall of Famer, four-time Olympic gold medalist and WNBA champion who earned an MBA
  

• Jon Lovitz — Comedian, film and television star and former “Saturday Night Live” cast member
  

• Vince Neil — Lead vocalist for the heavy metal band Mötley Crüe as well as eclectic businessman with interests in liquor, bars, restaurants, tattoo parlors along with clothing and retail

• Kyle Richards — Actress and star of ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” is a philanthropist who owns an innovative boutique concept in Beverly Hills
  

• Chael Sonnen — Former UFC standout and mixed martial artist
  

• Porsha Williams — Co-host of nationally syndicated Dish Nation, star of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” entrepreneur.
  

• Ricky Williams — Heisman Trophy winner for the University of Texas, 2015 College Football Hall of Fame inductee and ESPN sports analyst who was a running back for the Miami Dolphins, New Orleans Saints and Baltimore Ravens
  

• Carnie Wilson — Singer, television host and member of the pop music group Wilson Phillips.
  

Mark Burnett, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Page Feldman and Eric Van Wagenen are executive producers. “The Celebrity Apprentice” is produced and internationally distributed by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM).

“GRIMM”: The final season begins Friday, Jan. 6, 8-9 p.m.
Closing out an incredibly successful series run and giving viewers a chance to say goodbye over the last 13 episodes, the sixth and final season of NBC’s drama “Grimm” will begin its last chapter with the battle fans have long been waiting for — Nick versus Capt. Renard.

The series, which reached the 100-episode milestone last season, has long been a fan and critical favorite, with the Los Angeles Times calling it “terrific and trendsetting… ‘Grimm’ has become a beacon of solid narrative and a weekly reminder of why monsters matter.” The New York Times said “Grimm” is “engaging, clever, tense, funny and well-paced, featuring a remarkably appealing cast.”

As for events leading into the final season, the nefarious forces of Black Claw have been silenced and Nick (David Giuntoli) faces an all too familiar foe in Capt. Sean Renard (Sasha Roiz). Now in the seat of power as the mayor elect of Portland, Renard is poised to bring rise to his own brand of law and order. Nick must take a stand to protect his city and those closest to him, especially his child with Adalind (Claire Coffee). It will take the full force of Nick and his allies to find a way to bring the peace.

Meanwhile, Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) and Rosalee (Bree Turner) grapple with bringing a child into a new and tumultuous world, and Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) faces unsettling identity issues as her former self lurks below the surface.

“Grimm” also stars Russell Hornsby and Reggie Lee.

The series was created by David Greenwalt & Jim Kouf and Stephen Carpenter. Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner (“Hollywood Game Night,”  ”Hot in Cleveland”) serve as executive producers along with Greenwalt and Kouf. “Grimm” is a Universal Television and Hazy Mills production.

“EMERALD CITY”: Friday, Jan. 6, 9-11 p.m. two-hour event; 9-10 p.m. each week following
Swept up into the eye of a tornado, 20-year-old Dorothy Gale (Adria Arjona) is transported to another world — a mystical land where an all-powerful ruler (Vincent D’Onofrio) governs over one kingdom, has outlawed magic, and faces not only the wrath of a growing cauldron of witches but a looming disaster brought on by a mythical force. Epic, romantic and fantastical, “Emerald City” is an empowering tale of a young woman finding her true strength and identity even as she battles to bring a divided world together.

Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Ana Ularu, Mido Hamada, Jordan Loughran, Gerran Howell and Joely Richardson also star. David Schulner, Shaun Cassidy, Josh Friedman and Matthew Arnold serve as executive producers. The series is directed by Tarsem Singh Dhandwar, who also serves as an executive producer. “Emerald City” is a Universal Television production.
