Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 4 Episode 11 "Wake Up" Recap

Daisy and Mace plan to attend a Senate hearing so she can ratify her signing of the Sokovia Accords though Senator Nadeer will be questioning her actions from when she was undercover. Coulson and Rodriguez were attempting to install surveillance devices in Nadeer's office during the hearing but they are caught. Nadeer uses this as an opportunity to order a full investigation of S.H.I.E.L.D. who are suspicious that there is a leak that tipped Nadeer off on what they'd be doing. Meanwhile, the real May is working to escape the captivity of Radcliffe and Aida. The May LMD realises that she had leaked Coulson's plan and confronts Radcliffe. She tries to attack him but her programming will not allow her to do so and she won't be able to tell anyone that she is an LMD. Fitz also discovers Radcliffe's true intentions from his work going through the original Aida's programming. S.H.I.E.L.D. then arrive and arrest Radcliffe and the May LMD doesn't reveal what she really is. Mack and Rodriguez are shown to be growing closer in an intimate relationship. When she suspects that he doesn't want to be serious and is wanting to be with other women, he reveals that the truth he wanted to share was that he had a daughter named Hope from a previous marriage who died as an infant. Fitz deduces that Radcliffe is actually an LMD and it's revealed that the real Radcliffe had sought out protection from Nadeer after the first Aida failed. The real May is shown to be trapped in a virtual reality simulation in which she is fighting a past fight on repeat.
