The preparations for Cat and Vincent's wedding are underway with Heather being the woman-in-charge and making sure everything runs smoothly. Things are still awkward between Tess and JT after she broke up with him; he still wants to get back together. But the biggest threat to the wedding is that of Julianna Keaton, who escapes custody from the hospital. Everyone keeps it secret from Cat, who finds out eventually, and is upset that this was kept from her. Julianna has wreaked all kinds of havoc at the precinct but Tess is determined to get through to Cat that it's important for her to make her wedding a priority. But just as Cat is making her way to the church, Julianna jumps into the back of the limo, unbeknownst to the driver and Vincent arrives just in time to stop the limo and grab Julianna, whom Cat had beat up. Julianna had attacked Cat to get to Vincent and Julianna is insistent that they help her stop a man named Liam, the big bad in charge. But JT tranqs Julianna so the wedding can go on and they will deal with her afterwards. Cat is angry with Vincent for not telling her about Liam, something Julianna had told him but Vincent had kept from Cat. But just as Cat and Vincent are walking down the aisle, all the officers present start getting calls because lo and behold, big bad Liam has arrived at the wedding. He kills Julianna and attacks both Cat and Vincent. The wedding is cleared out and Vincent is more injured than we've seeing a while, though Liam promptly disappears. Vincent blames himself for ruining the wedding and for Julianna's death, feeling selfish for having prioritised the wedding above everything else. Vincent declares that Liam must be stopped before the wedding can go through. Tess is reprimanded by her boss over not making the right calls regarding the fugitives and JT calls her up to say that he'll always be there for her. Finally, Vincent talks to Cat and asks if she wants to try to do their wedding again at some point, to which she says that of course she does.

Beauty and the Beast airs on Thursdays on the CW at 8PM.

Let's be real, here. It was only a matter of time before we talked about Max Barskih in our series of music reviews. Not only does this Ukrainian singer/song-writer deliver consistently solid pop tracks, the music videos to accompany his singles are always visually stellar. Of course it's entirely clear that Barskih never shies away from using his sexuality to spice up his videos, whether it's through the use of smouldering gazes into the camera, flashing of flesh, or all of the above, but upon closer inspection, Barskih's videos show a level of understanding of visual artistry that never ceases to impress.

As a follow-up to his last single, "Хочу танцевать," the music video of which served up late 80s/early-90s aesthetic tripping on acid, Barskih has released "Подруга-ночь." Though the single was made available on iTunes back in May, it's only just now at the end of July that we're getting the accompanying music video. Once again, Barskih has collaborated with director Alan Badoev, who has directed a vast majority of Barskih's music videos throughout his pop career. "Подруга-ночь" sees Barskih engaged in a dance of seduction with a model surrounded by confetti bombs, disco pineapples, and streamers galore. The video also combines some visual inspirations from both the 1970s and the 1980s and adapts it for the 21st-century Euro-pop scene. We truly admire Barskih's willingness to wear any and every outfit he's slid into for both this and the "Хочу танцевать" video, as it shows a fearlessness to commit to his art. With Barskih's confidence and piercing gaze, he could wear a giant potato sack and still convince us it's the hottest must-have frock. The track itself bears some stylistic similarities with his previous single but with that sultry R&B backing vocalist, we can't help but reminisce about early 90's dance-pop. Considering that he has yet to release an album to include these singles, we are buzzing with anticipation to hear the full line-up of this sound and era. But until that album is bestowed upon the world, feast your eyes and ears on "Подруга-ночь!"

Malia turns up at the hospital and fights off the Dread Doctor long enough for Melissa to get Scott into an elevator and inject him with some medicine to help him recover. The three all just barely escape from the Dread Doctor.

Flashback:

Sheriff Stilinski is trying to figure out what happened to Donovan and won't believe he's actually dead until he sees a body. Stiles has yet to reveal to anyone that he accidentally killed Donovan in self-defence after being kidnapped by him but decides that they need to figure out why certain teenagers are the ones selected to be experimented on by the Dread Doctors.

Lydia is being trained by Parrish and has some more flashes of memories recovered of being in the captivity of the Dread Doctors. She later reveals to the group about the memories that have been trying to resurface. Together, the group (including Theo) begin to read the book.

Malia asks Stiles about his shoulder injury since she can smell the blood and he lies about it, something that she may or may not sense by listening to his heartbeat. She also keeps quiet on the full details of her recovered memory about her mother. Theo is shown to be listening in on the conversation.

Liam is still out at the club and trying to patch things up with Hayden, and trying to gather up the money to pay her back for the money he lost her.

Theo is shown to be recording an audio file of the Japanese phrases Kira is muttering in her sleep.

Lydia tries to help a fellow student who is having problems losing her hair due to stress but upon being shown the bald spot, Lydia has a gory memory recovered along with the sound of her mother telling her to stay in the car and she collapses. She then has a vision of herself at Eichen House and seeing her mother trying to help Lydia's grandmother who had taken a drill to her own head to lobotomise herself. Her grandmother rises from the bathtub and warns Lydia that 'they're' coming.

Kira is in the library still trying to finish the book when Mason happens upon her. She shares how she's struggling to finish it and he asks her if she speaks Japanese. She says she doesn't speak Japanese or Korean, despite her lineage. Mason says he's been doing some reading on kitsunes, and he says that in the folklore, fox spirits have trouble with languages and the reason why she can't finish the book is because it's one language trick. She then notices the flickering lights, something that has been happening in the school lately but she has been assuring the group that she isn't the one causing it.

Scott tries to drop AP biology, a course he needs to become a veterinarian, but his teacher tries to advise him against dropping it. He then begins to struggle to breathe and claims to be having an asthma attack as old memories begin to come to the surface. He has a vision of being in a hospital and watches a child version of himself begin brought in while his mother tends to him. In the real world, his teacher is trying to find an inhaler for Scott to use.

We finally learn that the confrontation between Liam and Hayden in sixth grade was during a prime point of Liam's anger management issues. He was in a fight with another student and Hayden accidentally walked into it so she ended up with a broken nose. She in turn broke his nose back. Liam runs to help Scott by bringing him an inhaler and uses his wolf senses to pull Scott out of it so he'll give himself the inhaler, a move which impresses Hayden.

Lydia is wondering why more of her memories aren't surfacing now that she has finished the book and poses to Stiles that perhaps the reason for this has to do with her Banshee abilities. The memories she is having aren't actually her own.

Malia goes to confront Theo about why he hasn't told Scott or anyone else about her memory, while he's flexing and shirtless because obviously these two are going to become an item, and he says that he wants to join Scott's pack so if she wants to tell him or keep it to herself, he's fine with it regardless.

Theo shows the recording he made of Kira to Scott and shares the translation he's found using an online translator: "I am the messenger of death." Scott is worried about the aura around her and that it seems to be taking over her. Scott is now worried that maybe he can't trust her anymore. The lights at the school being to flicker and there are noises coming from the basement. Scott and Theo follow the sounds and realise that the flickering lights at school aren't Kira, but a chimera.

Lydia and Stiles are still at the hospital trying to figure out what happened during her surgery.

Liam learns that Hayden is working her job to help pay for medication for a kidney transplant she had a few years back. She doesn't want her sister to be paying for everything. Liam is able to see that Hayden's eyes glow and realises that she has been experimented on by the Dread Doctors.

Scott is attacked by a Dread Doctor at the hospital while Theo fights off a chimera that was attacking Stiles while he was having visions about his dead mother. Resume the flash forward seen at the episode's beginning where Malia fights off the Dread Doctor long enough for Melissa and Scott to get into the elevator and Malia to follow shortly thereafter. Meanwhile, Theo rips the chimera's throat out with his bare-clawed-hand. He begs Stiles not to say anything about this to Scott and when Stiles asks why not, Theo shares that he has kept quiet about what happened between Stiles and Donovan.

Teen Wolf airs on Mondays on MTV at 10PM.

Donna and Cameron must determine the best course of action against Westgroup, and Cameron ends up deciding to sell the rights to the game "Extract and Defend" in order to help keep funding Mutiny. Tom is hurt and betrayed by her doing so without consulting him and it's enough to end their relationship. When Mutiny meets with Funtime Games, they're able to sell "Extract and Defend" for $50,000.

Joe bails Gordon out of jail and Gordon immediately begins to investigate the computer company he believes stole his idea. During his investigation, Gordon has a memory lapse and cannot remember where he parked his car.

Westgroup is going to have its annual shareholders meeting and Joe is set to give the keynote speech. Cameron visits him beforehand and the two share a kiss but Joe tells her they cannot do this, as he is now married to Sara. Though Joe gives Cameron credit during his speech, he doesn't know that she had uploaded the Sonaris program to the Westgroup mainframe, thereby sabotaging the presentation.

Gordon has an accident where he falls down a flight of stairs and breaks his leg. The doctor informs Donna that Gordon is suffering from psychological stress that is separate from his brain damage, causing Gordon to finally relent and tell her that he needs help.

After the fiasco at Westgroup, Sara is upset at Joe and insists that he still has feelings for Cameron. He is only thinking of himself. He can't even bring himself to deny his feelings for Cameron. It would appear that their relationship is on its way out.

Bosworth informs Cameron he'll be leaving Mutiny to pursue another job that will be better suited for his more advanced stage in life relative to all the young people working at Mutiny. Cameron also learns that Tom was the one who had organised the set up for the meeting with Funtime, causing her to want to get back together with him but it appears it's too late for this relationship as well.

Halt and Catch Fire airs on Sundays on AMC at 10PM.

Joe returns home and learns about Mia, the identity that had been buried deep within Anita's code. Mia had also been shown to be comforting Laura and assuring her that her family is strong.

Karen visits George's and asks Niska to kill her. Karen had been designed by David Elster to resemble his late wife Beatrice who had committed suicide. David had lied to the rest of his synths by claiming that he had killed her so the others left her behind. Karen wants Niska to kill her because she feels she has lived too long amongst the humans and there is no place for their kind amongst them. Nisei vehemently disagrees with this. Karen cannot kill herself because of a block that David had put into her code. When Karen learns of Niska's intent to make more of their kind, Karen threatens to shoot and kill Niska instead. George doesn't want Karen to kill Niska and implores her to see that the pain she feels is not because of what she is but the life she has led. George ends up shot in the crossfire and he tells Niska to run before the police arrive. She leaves with an apology and says she wishes she could save him. Vera the housekeeper has also been destroyed in the conflict. Odi stays with George and speaks with him until he dies.

Leo meets with Fred, another conscious synth, and they make plans to try to find Max. Niska calls to ask for help and Theo promises to send her another encrypted location for her to hide at and they will come meet her there.

Laura's son Toby is perturbed that Joe has returned and Mia feels guilty over what has happened that has strained Laura and Joe's relationship. Laura assures her that it wasn't her fault. Niska arrives at the Hawkins residence and Mia introduces her as her sister.

Law enforcement descend upon George's house and they make plans to retrieve Odi's memories, after which he is to be scrapped.

Niska fills Mia in on everything that has happened with Karen and tells Mia she must keep this from Leo for the time being because it would only distract him. In private, Mia tells Joe off for his actions and that she was there the whole time, noting how he'd started to hate himself before he'd even finished. Leo and Fred arrive with Max's body they recovered by the river and together, the synths and the Hawkins try to work to repair him as best they can.

Meanwhile, Pete is investigating Karen's stolen identity. Karen has turned herself in to the lead detective Hobbs, who knew Beatrice, David, and George in the old days. She's willing to help them stop the conscious Synths but only under the condition that he destroy her too once it's all over and done with.

Leo is shown to be getting emotional when alone in the bathroom and seeing all the children's toys. He is also withdrawn and unreceptive to others' attempts to make a connection to him. Niska begins to play with Sophie, despite having difficulties knowing how to do so at first. Joe and Toby are outside playing football with Fred until he suggests that perhaps they should go inside.

The group dynamic has a rift when a police officer arrives because Joe had called the police when he saw strangers in the house while spying on Laura. Leo insists that they will leave once Max is charged and Laura berates Joe for not listening to her when she said that she was handling things.

Mia tells Laura that it may be best if she tells Joe about her brother but Laura is standoffish about her most personal secret being invaded on. Over dinner, Niska finally reveals to Mia about the possiblity of imparting consciousness to other Synths. Joe thinks that this changes everything but Laura doesn't think it's necessarily right to stop them from procreating, so to speak, if they wish.

The following morning, the Synths try to power up Max again but find that he is too badly damaged to ever be what he was again. He is for all intensive purposes, dying. Leo suggests that they all try to sync themselves up to him to try to fix him. When Joe and Laura see a news story about Niska going on the rampage with her bat and send Sophie upstairs. They tell the Synths they need to leave, despite Mattie protesting that they need to help them. As Leo is gathering up his things, Karen reveals herself, having snuck in through the back door. He is emotional at seeing her and she says that they can all be together. When the rest of the Synths see her, they tell Leo he can't trust her. It's then that the police arrive and arrest all the Synths at the Hawkins resident, having been led there by Karen.

Humans airs on Sundays on Channel 4 at 10PM.

Teen Wolf is more successful than ever and is a staple of the San Diego Comic Con scene. The show's top-billed star, Tyler Posey, has been upped to the position of that of a producer with this latest season. Posey needed to be reminded of just what was the latest plot points to air on the show but once he was reminded of Tracey's death and the gang's pursuit of the Dread Doctors, he jumped right in to discussing Scott being at a low-point we've never seen him at before. He may reach a point where he thinks it would be in everyone else's best interest if he died, and playing this level of darkness was great fun for Posey to play. He speaks of Kira as being Scott's best support system but warns that wolves and foxes don't mix, so there will be trouble ahead for the happy couple as the season progresses. He also notes that the tension between Scott and Stiles is very interesting to play since it's the essence of acting, as he and Dylan O'Brien get along tremendously well. He says that Scott's trusting nature is the reason for his willingness to include Theo, but we'll have to wait and see to watch how that will play out and what exactly Theo's plan is.

He's going to try to actively do something about this and try to stop these deaths and beat the Dread Doctors. Cody Christian is a new-comer to the show and this was also his first San Diego Comic Con. He shares how he was very nervous going into the panel and his heart was racing for the hour that the panel went on for but raves about the energy one feels in the convention centre. He teases that perhaps the seemingly nicest people are the worst ones in character but remains tight-lipped to not give away more of the plot and motivation of Theo, as the mystery is essential to the experience of playing it out. He also raves about the cast and crew of the show and that Tyler Posey's energy is infectious and that both Tyler Posey and Dylan O'Brien have made the show what it is. He says that the tension between Theo and Stiles isn't going anywhere, and will only escalate further, despite Theo doing everything to prove his worth to earn a spot in Scott's pack. He even describes it as being something that will shock viewers.

Dylan Sprayberry may have a full season of Teen Wolf under his belt but he still feels like a new-comer despite not being treated like one. But he raves about getting the sensation of goosebumps at hearing the roar of the crowd. Sprayberry likens Mason to a mini-Stiles but notes that he has a lot to contribute to the group dynamic now that he is in the know regarding the supernatural ongoings of Beacon Hills. He also adds that Liam doesn't trust Theo, but teases that there may be more to see of the conflict between those two characters as the season carries on.

"Towards the beginning of the season, there's a lot more comedy, especially with Mason and Liam. There will be a lot more of that dynamic, which is really fun. There's also going to be a bit more tension between me and Scott." ~ Dylan Sprayberry, on what to expect for Liam in season 5 of Teen Wolf

Executive producer and Teen Wolf show-runner Jeff Davis says that it's confusing talking about season 5A since they're currently in the process of plotting out season 5B. He says he's thrilled with how this season's villains have turned out both conceptually and visually.

Davis says that The Doctors were inspired by steampunk and that he loves finding the place where science meets the supernatural. He says that this season will play a lot with timelines and cites LOST as a source of inspiration but jokes that they're a good show to steal from.

"We asked the question in the writers room which was 'How do we test our characters?' The best drama comes from making your characters suffer. So we thought hitting Scott and Stiles' relationship hard would be a good source of drama." ~ Jeff Davis on the impending rift in Scott and Stiles' relationship

Teen Wolf airs on Mondays on MTV at 10PM.

Following a successful first season that pleased both fans and critics alike, Marvel's Agent Carter was renewed for a second season. So it was only natural that the show's stars and crew members would pay a visit to San Diego Comic Con and tease what's to come for our favourite characters in season 2.

Hayley Atwell says that Peggy is now well aware of how resourceful she is and is more confident in who she is as a person and as a spy. So now that she has received some closure, she is in a better space to move on whether it be romantically or just professionally. Hayley Atwell and James D'Arcy don't know whether or not the new season will be set in California.

"I think we can all agree that Jarvis has earned his stripes and whilst he may not officially be an agent of the SSR, I think unofficially he should totally get a gun this season." ~ James D'Arcy

But D'Arcy jests over his belief that Jarvis would hate a move to California but perhaps Peggy would do well with it, as she looks so great in sunglasses and driving convertibles.

"I don't think Jarvis wants any sun at all. I think he's gonna have a spectacularly British reaction to the heat. [Peggy] looks good in sunglasses. I hope we get to drive convertibles this season!" ~ James D'Arcy

After the tease from Captain America: The Winter Soldier that Steve had saved Peggy's husband in the war, Hayley Atwell promises that she does not yet know who that is, though she wouldn't be able to tell us even if she did, but James D'Arcy once again delivers the jokes, saying that he absolutely knows who it is. Hayley says that the strong fan reaction to Peggy Carter has given her work more meaning and she is deeply humbled by it all, adding that she feels a sense of responsibility to develop her further so as to give the fans even more than what they expect. But James D'Arcy is ready with his joke-gun, saying that this time around, Peggy will wear a green hat.

"There's a sense of responsibility to move that forward and develop [Peggy] in a way that exceeds people's expectations. It's very much now not about sitting on my laurels and going, 'Okay well she's proved this and this so she can just look fabulous in a red hat now.' I think it's very much about how do we take that further and deeper and giving her stronger challenges now." ~ Hayley Atwell on how the positive fan feedback influences her approach to playing Peggy carter

"She'll look fabulous in a green hat now." James D'Arcy, chiming in with the jokes, per usual 

Season 2 of Marvel's Agent Carter will air mid-season during the 2015-2016 TV season.

Following an action-packed season that was even more emotional than ever, all our favourite agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. are left to pick up the pieces and carry on fighting the fight, whatever side that may be on. At San Diego Comic Con, we sat down with some cast members to get some sneaky tidbits on just what's to come for their characters in season 3.

Grant Ward may appear to many as being past the point of no return, having been shown to be taking hold of the Hydra reins and planning to build it back up so as to fight and destroy S.H.I.E.L.D., but actor Brett Dalton is insistent that Ward is not a villain, but an anti-hero. He remained tight-lipped about the possibility of having his own band of Inhumans to fight alongside him but it seemed as if he wouldn't rule it out, nor would he object to such an exciting arc to play.

"I don't think that he's the villain, I think that he's the anti-hero." ~ Brett Dalton, on Grant Ward's character development

When we last saw Melinda May, she was taking a break from her work in the field so as to reconcile with her ex-husband Andrew, whom Ming-Na Wen calls the "love of [May's] life." But as much as May is a soldier, there is a part of her questioning what to do next. Though Ming-Na Wen is insistent that Hydra is bad, Brett Dalton takes this as an opportunity to joke around and undermine this sentiment. Dalton also jokes around about a possible uniform for Ward consisting of leather and two eye-patches.

"As much as she is a soldier and willing to do anything for S.H.I.E.L.D., I think there's a part of there that is questioning who's right and who's not right. But she knows for sure that Hydra is completely in the wrong." ~ Ming-Na Wen, on where Melinda May is going into season 3

Clark Gregg was incredibly excited about the Secret Warriors plot to be incorporated into the upcoming season. He is more so familiar with how the story was done in the comics but less so about how it will be presented in the show since they had yet to receive their first script. But he and Chloe Bennet spoke about the father/daughter dynamic of Coulson and Skye. They both agreed that Coulson didn't always look after Skye as well as he could have but now she will be more important to him after the loss of his limb.

"We're going to try to gather people like Skye on a very, very top-secret team. I have a feeling once again Coulson will be wrangling some very special people and that can really go wrong, and sometimes it can really go right." ~ Clark Gregg, on the Inhumans and Secret Warriors

Chloe doesn't feel pressure about the Inhumans plot being used years before it will be presented in the films, as she has tremendous faith in the producers of the show and knows that Marvel is very hands-on with the show as well. What Chloe is nervous about is playing a more seasoned Skye but is also very excited to play it as well.

"I feel like 'Chloe' is still at the first episode but Skye has evolved so much that I'm actually nervous to play someone who is so confident in her abilities. It's going to be a challenge but I'm excited." ~ Chloe Bennet

Henry Simmons says that Mack is doing a horrible job with his responsibilities, given the fact that Simmons has been stalled up and Coulson is now without a hand but since he isn't all that active on social media, he hasn't felt too much fan upset.

"I think Mack is doing a horrible job with his responsibilities. First thing under his watch, Simmons gets swallowed up." ~ Henry Simmons, joking about Mack's apparent irresponsibilitiy

Luke Mitchell wasn't entirely familiar with the Inhumans mythology when he joined the show, but really wanted to fit in well with the group dynamics which have been so strong since the show began. Mitchell says Lincoln won't know quite where he fits in at the beginning of season 3, but this will likely be the first main thing he will play out in season 3. Henry Simmons also cracks a joke about Mack being horrible for "violating" Lola.

"Initially, I just wanted to fit in because it's such a great cast and everyone does their job really well. As a new character sliding into an ensemble, I just wanted the glove to fit." ~ Luke Mitchell, on being a newcomer to the show

Elizabeth Henstridge speaks on the trauma Simmons has faced but notes that perhaps the insensitivity she exhibited towards Fitz means that it is plausible to call Simmons' fate in season 2 being karmic retribution. But both Henstridge and Iain De Caestecker look forward to hopefully being able to play more scenes together since they spent more time apart in season 2 than in season 1.

"We love playing scenes together... well, I do!" ~ Elizabeth Henstridge, on potentially getting more scenes in season 3 with Iain/Fitz

De Caestecker thinks that a big part of Fitz's story will surround finding Simmons and what happened to her, but also jokes about a possible romance with Mack before speaking more seriously on why Fitz and Mack connected. Since Mack didn't know Fitz before, he took Fitz's behaviour at face value. In addressing questions about the Inhumans story, Henstridge speaks highly of Chloe Bennet's acting and says that she will do a brilliant job with the stories she is given.

"One of the reasons [Fitz and Mack] became really good friends is because Mack didn't know him before his injury so he just took him at face value. Their relationship was built on that and Fitz is constantly going to be the new person that he is and he's never going to go back to that old person." ~ Iain De Caestecker

New-comers/love-birds Hunter and Bobbi were played by Nick Blood and Adrianne Palicki, who right away joked about how Bobbi will be dating around as they have agreed that they will be having an open relationship.

"That loss and when Hunter opens that door he sees her is really impactful." ~ Adrianne Palicki, on the exploration of the depth of Hunter and Bobbi's relationship

But in moving past the jokes, they speak on the more serious possibility of exploring the back stories of these characters. Given the viewer reaction to Hunter and Bobbi, they think it's quite likely that the writers will give more insight into just how these characters came to be who they are. Nick Blood thinks that Coulson and Hunter a begrudging respect for each other, particularly given the grit of the fights they've to go through in season 2.

Season 3 of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will premiere on September 29 on ABC at 9PM.

Despite being cancelled during the airing of season 3, Hannibal brought joy to a tremendous number of Fannibals by making a promotional appearance at San Diego Comic Con to promote the remaining half of what may very well be its final season. Show-runner Bryan Fuller, executive producer Martha De Laurentiis, and stars Hugh Dancy and Richard Armitage sat down with us in the show's press room to answer questions regarding what's to come. While Hugh Dancy has been a lead on the show since its beginning, as Will Graham, Richard Armitage had yet to make his on-screen debut at the time of the show's visit to San Diego Comic Con. Armitage will be playing Francis Dolarhyde and teased of all the "body" to come as well as shared some insight as to how he prepared for playing out the pathology of the character. Bryan Fuller explained to reporters about what obstacles they face in getting the show picked up for another season, noted that he doesn't rule out continuing the story through a feature film, and assured everyone that regardless of what other projects he has on his horizon, he would make it work and find time to be able to carry on with Hannibal. John Ales and Robert Kelly play Rehab and Bam Bam, the bassist and drummer of the Heathens, the band fronted by Dennis Leary's character Johnny Rock on the new FX series, "Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll." They talked characters, rock and roll, and the fun they had on being a part of this new series, in the show's press room at San Diego Comic Con.

Elaine Hendrix and John Corbett play Ava and Flash on the show. While Ava is Johnny's long-time love, Flash is more so Johnny's rival with whom he frequently butts heads with. Both Hendrix and Corbett spoke highly of the series and Corbett even called Ava one of the coolest characters.

Denis Leary and Elizabeth Gillies play father and daughter Johnny Rock and Gigi on the series. Denis Leary is also the show's creator and executive producer and shared about his experiences growing up around musicians and the ones that inspired him to come up with the show's concept. He also noted the difficulty of playing it cool enough to play a rockstar as well as the fun in exploring the drama within the father/daughter dynamic on the show.

Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll airs on Thursdays on FX at 10PM.

So it's the episode many a fan has been waiting for; finally, we see the introduction of Richard Armitage to the show as Francis Dolarhyde and right off the bat we're treated to some cut sexy-back action as Francis works out as he stews in his psychosis. He gets a new pair of removal teeth and a dragon tattoo to span his back.

Three years pass, as Hannibal is still in captivity. He also has a trimmed haircut. Alana doesn't appear to have been reprimanded for working with the Vergers so perhaps she was able to keep the full extent of what she did under wraps.

As for Francis, his killings have earned him the name "The Tooth Fairy" to the press and law enforcement. Jack visits Will to ask for his expertise in hunting down the Tooth Fairy but Will is enjoying living a quiet life with a new girlfriend, who tells him that he may resent their happy life together if he doesn't go and help and then reads about another family getting killed. Will warns her that if he goes, he'll be different when he comes back but she says that she won't be.

Will visits a crime scene of the Tooth Fairy's and finds an entire family massacred. He works his magic and gets into the mindset of Francis and his criminal methodology. The lab notes that Francis has an affinity for biting and they create a mould of his teeth left by the marks on some cheese in the family's home. After careful consideration, Will determines that the only way to find The Tooth Fairy is to pay a visit to the incarcerated Hannibal.

Hannibal airs on Saturdays on NBC at 10PM.

Cat and Vincent are on the run from the man (or Beast?) chasing them and with Vincent's connections, they manage to sneak into the hospital in order to use their computer system to follow a lead to find the person(s) responsible for this latest wave of experiments. Cat proposes they leave town in order to control the situation under the guise of eloping. Vincent's not so fond of the idea but then their attacker comes knocking the door off its hinges and Catherine unloads her weapon into him but it doesn't do anything. The man then takes off and jumps out the hospital window several stories up and flees into the night.

Cat and Vincent decide to pursue her plan of eloping, though it's only meant to be a ruse and not their actual plans of getting married. Cat tells him that if they need to follow through with the marriage via eloping, so be it. But Vincent is insistent that they deserve to be able to have their real wedding happen the way they had planned it and in front of friends and family.

It's revealed that the boss at Heather's new boss Juliana is the one in charge of the experiments that Cat and Vincent have been tracking. Vincent is upset at Cat's lack of interest in making their wedding day special with her willingness to go through with the elopement all for the sake of a rouse. But then the woman sends her henchman to kidnap Cat and Vincent who quickly learn that Heather is being held captive. Cat is forced to watch as the enhanced henchman beats Vincent in order to force her to give answers she doesn't have over how exactly they managed to track her down.

JT arrives and is able to free Heather as she is being kept behind a two-way mirror. Juliana is preparing to inject Vincent with something that will do great damage to his genetic make-up but Cat has no answer to give. But JT is able to shoot Vincent with an injection of a substance that will essentially be a Beastly adrenaline rush so he can break free. He makes quick work of the henchman and snaps his neck while Cat begins to brutally beat Juliana, even after she's been rendered unconscious. She only stops after Heather calls out to her and the rest of the group stares at her in shock.

Afterwards, Juliana is put into a medically induced coma and Cat feels terrible for what she has done. Vincent assures her it's understandable after everything she had put them through. Tess breaks up with JT for being so relentless in his pursuit of answers that he has put their relationship second.

Beauty and the Beast airs on Thursdays on the CW at 8PM.

Following in the footsteps of a highly successful beginning, the producers of major DC television shows "Arrow" and "The Flash" have expanded their projects to bring a brand new superhero show, "Supergirl." Starring Melissa Benoist in the titular role, the show brings together many other talents, including Mehcad Brooks ("True Blood," "Necessary Roughness"), David Harewood ("Selfie," "Homeland"), and Chyler Leigh ("Grey's Anatomy"). The cast and crew sat down with us in the show's press room at SDCC to talk characters, comics, and representation, among other things.

Chyler Leigh will be playing Alex Danvers, Kara's (Supergirl) adoptive sister. Being that the show is so groundbreaking in its positioning a female superhero as the lead, given the saturation of male-led superhero media, Leigh is excited for the show to not only be a source of inspiration for young girls everywhere, but to her own daughters. She says that no one better could have been cast as Kara and is greatly looking forward to exploring their on-screen relationship.

David Harewood will be playing Hank Henshaw, a famous supervillain in the DC comics universe. He speaks on the gift of being an actor in the 21st century, when Google allows for easier research into already established characters, and is greatly appreciative of the wealth of source material to educate himself on the canon of the character. With so many potential arcs to be used in the live-action adaptation, Harewood is ready to take on any and all that are given for him to play.

Executive Sarah Schechter noted how disappointing it is that in this day and age, it's still considered so groundbreaking to have a female-led superhero show. But she shared how the only way to make the necessary changes in the landscape is to power through and make the show as best as it can be. She also added that "Supergirl" is not just important for girls to watch, but for boys to watch as well.

Mehcad Brooks' mother is a journalist, so he's got an extra insight into playing journalist Jimmy Olsen, who will be Kara's love-interest. He shared some truly brilliant points about the 21st century adaptation of Olsen, which presents a move forward past the monochromatic existence of the original comic writers. He even shared a deeply personal story about dressing up as Superman and having the white parents of a friend tell him at ten years old that he couldn't be Superman because he was black. Now with this role, he is greatly looking forward to being that face that young children of diversity can look up to and see themselves represented by.

Jeremy Jordan talks Winslow "Winn" Schott and the very different place they find him at the series' beginning as opposed to the potential villain "Toyman" that comic fans know the character as, goofing around with Melissa Benoist, his theatre background, and his hopes for a lengthy character arc on the show.

Supergirl will premiere on Wednesday, October 26, on CBS.

 

The Omen is coming to the small screen in the form of Damien, the same young by that the first movie centered off of. Now an adult and haunted by his past, Damien is faced with a series of macabre events and must finally face his true destiny: He is the Antichrist. But the world isn't so black and white, and destiny isn't set in stone.

Basically ignoring the other Omen sequels Damien will bring a new chapter to the Omen.

Glen Mazzara talks about who Damien is, and what brought him to the project. It's been moved to a new network (from Lifetime) but that's for the better. Bradley James talks about his projects that have lead him here, and how everyone thought he'd be the perfect Antichrist.

 

Scott Wilson surprised just about everyone when he showed up for the press room, and was very happy to be working with the lovely Barbara Hershey and Glen Mazzara again. Barbara opened up a little about her character, who may not have the best of intentions.



Damien will air on Lifetime early 2016.

Stiles is pursued by Donovan into the school library and we learn that Donovan is a wendigo-lamprey hybrid. Stiles ends up killing Donovan in self-defence, though he was only trying to fend him off. Stiles later gets a call from Scott, who tells him that someone is stealing the bodies of the hybrids, having heard from his mother about Tracy's body also being stolen. The person responsible is revealed to be Parrish, who goes into a trance when stealing these bodies and bringing them out into the woods.

Malia shows the group the book about the Dread Doctors to the rest of the group and Scott finds that it is dedicated to Dr. Valack, a three-eyed inmate at Eichen House. The group plans to visit him and Theo relays this information to the Doctors. Before going to Eichen House, Kira asks Scott to use his Alpha sight to check her out and finds that she is surrounded by a large flaming energy but he keeps this from her. They head to Eichen House with Stiles and Lydia and Scott confides in Stiles about his concerns regarding Kira and her expanding powers.

Stiles and Lydia head down to question Valack about the book and learn that he was actually the one to write it, using a false name. The reason for his writing it was to document what happened the last time the Doctors came to Beacon Hills. They've returned because the gang reignited the Nematon. Kira's electrical powers activate and grow out of control which disrupts the building's supernatural electromagnetic defence system. The Doctors come to the asylum and attack Valack, removing his third eye in the process. But before this happens, Valack gives information to Stiles and Lydia in exchange for an audio recording of Lydia's scream. He reveals that the book triggers repressed memories of the Doctor. Once the memories surface, they would head to Valack for more information. He adds that reading the book in full will help the person to remember what happened with the Doctors. It's implied that Lydia has been experimented on by them and will follow down that path.

Meanwhile, Malia and Kira are engaging in a bit of harmless flirting. But when Theo lets Malia drive his truck so she can get practice driving, she momentarily speeds due to a recovered memory in which she realises that the Desert Wolf was responsible for the car crash that killer her adopted mother and sister.

Scott uses his alpha strength to carry an electricity-shooting Kira out of Eichen House and the two collapse on the pavement outside. Stiles had been inside cradling Lydia to make sure she stayed safe while the Doctors were attacking Valack. They realise that everything that's happening is their fault and thus it is their responsibility to fix everything. Finally, the wounded Valack uses a cup and the recording of Lydia's banshee scream to crack the glass wall of his cell to presumably make his escape.

Teen Wolf airs on Mondays on MTV at 10PM.

*My Thoughts*

One of the coolest experience at Comic-Con is the advance screenings of TV shows, especially shows that intrigue me like FOX's Lucifer. This new show is based on a comic book series by Vertigo, a DC Entertainment imprint. I haven't read this particular comic book series, but after watching this pilot episode of Lucifer, my interest is peaked. The cast are amazing as they bring to life these characters on the small screen, Tom Ellis as he portrays the charming and witty Lucifer. It was apparent that the audience enjoyed watching this pilot as the room was filled with laughter.

 

This show shows all the glitz and glamour of Los Angeles, including the dark side as well. We see another side of Lucifer as he integrates himself into mainstream society in the City of Angels. Along with the humor and drama, a police procedural is incorporated into the plot to further drive the show, as well as the supernatural element that lies behind all the action.

 

Fans will definitely get a feel for the "human" side of Lucifer as he integrates himself into society. Filled with humor and drama, I am definitely looking forward to watching this new show! I may have to check out the comic book series before then, too!

Coming to FOX in 2016

 

 

MTV will be branching its content out into that of adapting epic fantasy literature with its new series, "The Shannara Chronicles," based on the successful "Shannara" series written by Terry Brooks. The first season is set to be an adaptation of the second book in the series. Slated for a premiere in 2015, the show paid a visit to San Diego Comic Con to promote what's been teased as a large-scale show to rival that of its film counterparts.

"Shannara" author Terry Brooks was confident about the show and its ability to be a quality adaptation both in relation to the original novel as well as in its own right after paying a visit to the show's set. John Rhys-Davies admits having imparted words of advice to the younger stars of the show and though he's not as big on the fantasy genre as the science fiction one, he's entirely impressed by how well the show has been run.

Series stars Manu Bennett and Ivana Baquero are quite taken with the project on which they are now a part of. Manu had plenty to say about just how and why this show is playing into the golden age of television we now find ourselves a part of and Ivana shared tidbits about the character she plays.

Executive producers Miles Millar and Al Gough explained about the choice to adapt the literary series starting with the second book as opposed to the first and offered up their take on why they are so proud to be working on the show.

Austin Butler and Poppy Drayton were in awe after getting their first glimpse during the panel as to what they have been working so hard on to create, and spoke highly about the large scope of the show, and were excited about all the tidbits of wisdom shared with them by fellow star John-Rhys Davies.

The Shannara Chronicles will premiere on MTV in January 2016.

While Donna and Cameron's relationship is further strained by Cameron's hard stance against selling Mutiny, Joe is on surprisingly okay terms for the time being with his father-in-law not that he and Sara have gone to the courthouse and gotten married. As for Gordon, his brain condition is worsening judging by the hallucinations he's having, or perhaps that's just the manifestation of his guilt about cheating on Donna. Dare we even consider that Gordon may have grown a conscience?

Tom is surprised by Cameron's decision to copyright the code in the game that they've co-created. But she's over having her work stolen, despite his puppy-dog pleas that they never would've met if he hadn't been able to access the code in her game. They later have an argument about it in which Tom declares his love for her, much to her shock. The Mutiny mixer is an opportunity for Cameron and Donna to come face-to-face with a lot of their users/fans. One user is emotional upon meeting her, thanking her for giving her a community of friends that helped her find the strength to leave a bad home life. This leads Cameron to learn that the large majority of the Mutiny users are doing so in order to access the message boards, something that Donna had come up with and not Cameron.

Joe returns from his honeymoon and meets Jesse, a bright up-and-comer hired to replace him and Joe doesn't seem to take the news very well. Jesse is essentially a younger and more efficient embodiment of all of Joe's strengths. Gordon is also going through a rough patch when he learns that his associates are quitting their work with him. His spiral continues when he spots an ad leading him to confront his old friend Stan and accuse him of stealing his idea. Gordon ends up arrested because Stan had called the cops when he heard someone breaking in.

Joe heads out with Sara to a swanky night-club and the two are rolling high on MDMA. But Joe needs to sober up fast when he learns that Jacob and newcomer-Jesse have conspired to steal Mutiny's subscriber base and network. Joe quickly heads to Mutiny to tell them what's happened and that he had no part in it but all of Mutiny has already discovered that Mutiny is gone and they can no longer access it, instead finding this new network. But with the severity of Joe's past crimes, they don't believe that he wasn't involved in this underhanded crime.

Halt and Catch Fire airs on Sundays on AMC at 10PM.

This week's "Humans" upped the ante by giving us a bigger introduction to Mia, the former identity of Anita, and one major character death. This episode gave us answers to questions we've been asking since the show began. Unlike he originally hypothesised, Leo and Anita are not involved romantically. Instead, he sees her as a maternal figure after she and the other self-aware synths helped him to start over after he drowned at the age of 12 which he only came back from due to his father's scientific know-how.

One rather unsurprisingly plot development was the revelation that Tom was Laura's late younger brother who died in a fatal childhood accident. This was more or less exactly what we thought would come of the emotionality surrounding the mention of Tom. Given how severely Laura reacted to her son's nearly getting hit by a car, we were able to put together that Tom was her brother who must have died in that precise manner.

We were highly perturbed by the choice to kill Max, even more so since it was done to help save Leo. It's playing right into the all too common trope of the POC sidekick getting sacrificed for the betterment of the white hero. Pardon me, but are we not currently in the 21st century? Bearing in mind that this is happening on a science fiction show and thus, Max may very well return to the show, we'll keep our offended feelings at a low simmer for the time being.

Humans airs on Sundays on Channel 4 at 9PM.

  

As far as superhero-TV goes, the CW has been doing a pretty stellar job growing its empire of programming. Beginning with Arrow, and then the highly successful The Flash series, characters from each of these shows have been bonded together to form an even more highly anticipated spin-off series, Legends of Tomorrow. With big stars playing highly beloved characters from DC comics, it's not surprise that the show is expected by a vast majority to be a hit. At San Diego Comic Con, we sat down with the stars to talk about what's to come from the show, despite their having yet to film any of it.

Brandon Routh is already a well-known name amongst superhero-media-loving fans, having played Superman back in 2007. But he returned to the genre as Ray Palmer/"Atom" on the CW's Arrow on which we see Ray go your ordinary, affable billionaire CEO to that of a super-high-tech-suit-wearing superhero. After a love affair with Felicity that ran its course, will Ray be set to find love on a whole new show? Or perhaps his attention will be more so fixed on becoming legendary alongside his new crime-fighting team?

Victor Garber is arguably the most renowned of the actors on the show. He's also no stranger to fan-favourite television series, having spent five years on the hit JJ Abrams series, "Alias." But now he's ready to take on the next challenge, that of playing (half of) Firestorm on "Legends of Tomorrow." He says he's realistic enough to not presume that the show will be the smash-hit everyone expects it to be, but speaks highly of his fellow cast-members whom he is greatly looking forward to working with. He also offered up insight on just what drives Martin Stein as a person, citing his love for his wife as "paramount."

Wentworth Miller has been busy stealing scenes on "The Flash" as Leonard Snart/Captain Cold and is delighted to be reunited with his "Prison Break" co-star Dominic Purcell, whom he reveals got cast on the show after Wentworth himself recommended him for the part. He is still developing the physicality and mannerisms of Snart but has already put great thought into these elements of the character, and has theories of his own on just why it is that Captain Cold is the only villain with whom Barry Allen has been able to collaborate with thus far.

Ciara Renée may be the biggest newcomer of the group, having only been seen in a cameo in the season finale of "The Flash" as opposed to having a proper character introduction like the other cast members present at SDCC, but she is more than ready to get started on the show. She's bright, energetic, and can't stop smiling over how excited she is to be on such an anticipated show with a thoroughly stacked cast. She's a fan of superhero media and has done great research to prepare for the role, and of all established characters on "Arrow"/"The Flash," she's most hoping to work with Candice Patton, eager for them to make friends.

Caity Lotz didn't know at first that Sara Lance's death wouldn't stick, but she's plenty thrilled to be back in the swing of things as White Canary. She knows there's bound to be some drama kicking off once Sara's friends and family learn of her resurrection but Lotz is looking forward to playing out these reunions as well as all the new material to come on this series.

Dominic Purcell is entirely grateful to Wentworth Miller for having recommended him for the part of Mick Rory/Heat Wave. Not only does he adore having the opportunity to work with Wentworth again, he's greatly looking forward to acting alongside Brandon, whom he has nothing but the highest, profanity-laced praise for. He also thinks it could be fun to play more heated scenes alongside Golden Glider (we explained to Purcell that this is the super alias of Lisa Snart), because of how mad it's likely to make Captain Cold. Ever the trouble-maker that Dominic Purcell!

Legends of Tomorrow will have a mid-season premiere in 2016 on the CW.

The corrupt policemen bought off by Mason Verger prepare to dispose of Jack, who is a witness to their wrongdoings. But instead, they end up killed by Chiyoh with her sniper rifle. She comes in and questions Jack about where Hannibal and Will have been taken. He's more than willing to cooperate with Chiyoh since he needs to get safely out of Florence, a city where all the law enforcement want him dead. He tells her Will and Hannibal have been taken to Mason Verger's estate, since bounties were placed on both of their heads. Chiyoh lets Jack free to figure out how to get out of Florence on his own.

Mason and his henchman Corell make the preparations for Will and Hannibal to be their guests. They are planning to eat Hannibal while Will's face will be transplanted onto Mason's. Seriously. Meanwhile, Alana and Margot are scheming for Margot to be able to have a child using Mason's viable sperm and potentially having Alana be the surrogate. Margot informs both Mason and Alana that Jack is still alive and therefore there is still a risk that the FBI could raid the place before they've had the chance to go through with their plans.

Over dinner, Mason gloats to Will and Hannibal over all his evil plans. Will angrily retaliates by biting off part of Cordell's face, after which Cordell must stitch himself up. Cordell is more than happy to gloat to Hannibal, whom he has just branded, over how Mason will devour him.

Mason tells Margot her has prepared a surrogate for their child that is on the farm, while Alana attempts to reason with Will just why she has teamed up with the vergers. Margot visits Hannibal and expresses her ever-present desires to have a child, as Hannibal was previously her therapist. Hannibal suggests to her that she kill Mason after her child is born and place the blame on him, since what's one more murder charge to someone like him?

Alana shoots and kills Hannibal's guard and offers to set him free is he promises to keep Will alive. Hannibal makes the promise and reminds her that he always keeps his promises. Mason is shown to be being put under anaesthesia for the facial transplant while Will has not been put under at all. Hannibal kills the many guards working for Mason and rescues Will from the surgery. When Mason wakes, he finds that Cordell is dead by way of Cordell's face being laid on top of his own.

Alana and Margot discover that Mason's surrogate is actually a pig that has the human foetus inside. Alana surgically removes the child but finds that it is stillborn. The two women confront Mason, who is still disoriented. They tell him hat Hannibal helped them retrieve Mason's sperm through the use of a cattle prod-stimulated prostate ejaculation. Mason attempts to shoot the women but he ends up shooting holes through his floor aquarium. They force him under water and then his moray eel swims down his throat, suffocating and kill him.

Hannibal and Will head to Will's house in Wolf Trap, Virginia with Chiyoh's help. In the morning, Hannibal tells Chiyoh that he ate but didn't kill Mischa.

Will makes a successful recovery from his injuries but in one final session with Hannibal, says that he doesn't want to be in contact with Hannibal or have thoughts about him anymore. Jack later arrives at Will's and arrests Hannibal, who is entirely compliant. Chiyoh leaves Wolf Trap while Hannibal is taken into FBI custody.

Hannibal airs on Saturdays on NBC at 10PM.

Following a successful first season that pleased both fans and critics alike, iZombie was renewed for a second season and promptly descended upon San Diego Comic Con to promote all that's to come in the upcoming season which was just on the verge of beginning shooting.

In the show's press room, we sat down with cast and crew members to reflect on all the highs of season one that made it such a success, as well as got some scoops on what's to come in season 2.

Executive Producer Diane Ruggiero is still gunning for Tatiana Maslany to do a guest spot, and admits that one of her biggest fangirl loves is Wonder Woman. She teased what's to come for our favourite leading lady, Liv Moore, Ravi, and even the cheeky baddie, Blaine DeBeers.

Rose McIver was all smiles and friendliness as she recognised some familiar faces amongst the table of reporters, some of whom had been present to speak with her jut a few months prior at WonderCon. She spoke about her giddiness for Liv to play a yet-to-be disclosed prank on Ravi, how she will move forward given all the newfound drama with Major, and expressed emotionality over the Lowell arc, which proved to be tremendously impactful to viewers as well as those who worked on the show to bring that story to life.

David Anders has made a highly successful career out of playing baddies but there's something entirely refreshing and fun about his take on Blaine DeBeers. There's more of a comedic element to the dialogue and overall material, which Anders has had great fun playing. Anders ponders about the temptations Blaine may have regarding whether to enjoy being human again or to get bit/scratched again so as to reclaim the powers one harbours when endowed with Zombie abilities. 

Executive producer and show runner Rob Thomas may constantly be asked about the similarities between Liv Moore and Veronica Mars but he actually draws more inspiration from "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" in creating "iZombie." Thomas expresses great satisfaction at recently learning of Joss Whedon's being a fan of the show, discusses his partnership with Diane Ruggiero, and gives us a glimpse as to what lies ahead in season 2.

Rahul Kohli assures us that there were never any serious plans to make Ravi a zombie, and that he is truly happy with the character as he is. Though he doesn't rule out Ravi ever making the switch from human to zombie, he likes being able to wisecrack and be humorous in the character. He also gives us the scoop on that most memorable line, "I don't even need to be this good-looking; it's just icing."

Malcolm Goodwin may not have been able to explore much of Clive Babineaux's Creole roots but it doesn't mean he isn't as hungry for it than ever. He also jokes about Clive's first taste of brains, says it's only a matter of time before Clive learns of Liv's secret, and was appreciative for our "juicy steak" of an idea for a possible arc for Clive in the upcoming season(s).

Season 2 of iZombie will premiere on the CW on Tuesday, October 6 at 9PM.

Cat and Vincent are trying to pick out a church for their wedding and are feeling the pressure from Heather, who keeps making decisions based on what he thinks their mother would have wanted. Cat also has to face the arrival of her aunts, who have come to town for Cat's bridal shower.

JT throws Vincent a surprise bachelor party and even invites some of Vincent's cousins. Vincent feels uncomfortable by the arrival of a stripper hired by his cousins but the dance is interrupted by some shorts from outside. Vincent goes to see what it is, as do JT and Vincent's cousins. Vincent goes and fights off the shooter, a sniper that had been perched outside, but his cousin Hank gets shot. He'll make a full recovery but now Vincent, Cat, and Tess must determine what's happening with the shooter, who had exhibited beastly abilities but now seems to be getting better, as in no longer having his super-abilities. Vincent notes how he didn't seem to have a proper target.

JT does some research and finds that the shooter got better because his symptoms were a result of a manufactured virus that infected him like a cold so now that it's run its course, the symptoms are gone. Tess pushes Cat to go home and deal with her family while the rest of them will carry on the investigation. Things are tense with Cat and her aunts, as she still holds anger with her mother for the lies and secrecy. Poor Heather is forced to keep Cat's temper at bay and then Cat gets a call from JT that the outbreak they were worried about has hit the hospital, hard.

Cat and Vincent are forced to visit Cat's father to try to track the people behind this outbreak after learning that they used the original 10,000-year-old source of the Beast mutation. He gives them some tips and also advises Cat to look in a box he previously gave her of her mother's things, which she has yet to look through. Cat later has an outburst at her bridal shower in which she publicly defames her mother for all the crimes she has committed and for hurting Vincent, declaring that she will never forgive her and then leaves.

Vincent's family are sent away after it's revealed they just wanted to use Vincent for publicity. The gang is able to determine that the virus was delivered through a delivery man who was a patient zero and Vincent will be able to track him because of his beastly abilities. Vincent and Cat catch up to the man, who has a camera on his helmet and takes shots of their faces to give to whomever is behind everything and then attempts to make a large jump off a building, which he of course fails and promptly falls to his death.

Law enforcement is unable to trace the feed the camera was hooked up to so they still don't know anything. The outbreak was just done to flush out who Cat and Vincent were. Cat knows that stopping the experiments will be much harder now that there are targets on their backs but first she needs to patch things up with Heather. Vincent doesn't hold any grudges against JT for calling up such horrible family members and tells the group that he knows who his true family is, and toasts to the group.

Cat goes through the box of er mother's possessions and among other things, finds a cassette left for her. It's a message from her mother saying that if something happens to her, she did everything she could to try to fix things and that the people she's working for are dangerous. She also asks Cat to be careful and doesn't want her to go through what she herself went through. She also asks Cat to take care of herself and Heather too, adding that she hopes she finds love. The message ends with her mother receiving a call from Cat asking for help and it's then that she realises the message was recorded the night that she was murdered. Cat then makes up with Heather, who had been listening in on the message.

Cat asks Vincent to meet her at a church and says that she's no longer angry at her mother now that she has gotten some answers. She wishes her mother was there to see them together. But the conversation is interrupted by smoke bombs getting thrown through the church windows and a hooded figure entering to pursue them.

Beauty and the Beast airs on Thursdays on the CW at 8PM.

Parrish reveals to Lydia he's been having a recurring dream in which he carries a dead body to the Nemeton and then sets himself on fire. Of course he didn't know about the Nemeton, describing it only as an unusual tree. But Lydia knows right away just what he's referring to and says it's a beacon for supernatural creatures. He also keeps the fact that he sets himself on fire in the dream a secret from Lydia. We don't know what to make of this newest supernatural introduction but of course we can't help but pose the guess that he's a phoenix.

Stiles and the Sheriff head down to the basement where Malia is emotional over Tracy's dead body. The problem is, her body isn't changing back to its human state so there's no way they can let her body get in the hands of law enforcement. The Doctors that created her have abducted Donovan from the police station and are preparing for him to be their latest guinea pig, just as Tracy was and had become a hybrid of a werewolf and a Kanima. Her artificiality is the reason for her immunity to mountain ash. They realise that a new threat is creating these hybrid supernatural creatures, and Scott dubs them Chimeras. It seems fitting to bring the insidious side of science into the equation as Scott is coming into his own in his pursuit of a career as a medicinal healer. It shows the dichotomy of how science can be used.

Lydia is recovering following her severe injury from the encounter with Kanima-werewolf hybrid and after asking Parrish to teach her how to fight, he agrees. It's a move that comes better late than never, as Lydia has flirted with the line between badass-Banshee and damsel-in-distress for a while now. But now she can stay more firmly on the side of everyone who is better able to fend for themselves in the battles against supernatural foes.

Theo is revealed to be working with the Doctors responsible for creating the Chimeras and plants the seed in Donovan's mind that the best way to enact revenge against the Sheriff is to go after someone he loves. The Doctors have sent their latest creation, Lucas, to a night-club where Liam is playing wingman to Mason. Lucas is a hybrid of a werewolf and a scorpion-monster from Sumerian mythology. We still don't know what to make of latest-token Mason, when the show's writers couldn't even do right by Danny. It's not long before Mason gets to be the damsel-in-distress as Lucas is attempting to seduce him.

Scott and Kira head to the club to try to rescue whomever may be Lucas' next victim, not knowing just who he may be preying on. Scott also drops the "I love you" bomb on Kira on their way in, not realising that this is his first time declaring this to her. But there's no time to talk when there's a crazed Chimera to fight off. In the fight, Kira's strength and power is more potent than ever and she nearly kills Lucas until Scott stops her from doing so. Once Lucas is subdued, Scott and Liam try to help him but the Doctors appear and kill him themselves, telling them Lucas was a failure. It's further evidence of how cold and calculating these nemeses are.

Though Lucas' body is brought to the morgue, Parrish is later shown to be taking Lucas' body to the Nemeton and sets it on fire. Looks like there won't need to be any sort of cover-up or haphazard explanation of why his body had thorns to medical officials. Finally, Stiles is shown to be attacked and abducted by Donovan, who has a mouth full of razor-sharp teeth, and another sharp mouth on the palm of his hand. What on earth type of creature is that supposed to be? Guess we'll have to find out next week!
