In the second instalment of "The Hollow Crown," Henry IV (Part 1), the audience is re-introduced to King Henry IV, who was previously seen in Richard II as claiming the throne for himself and passive-aggressively allowing the overthrown Richard to be murdered. This time around, the role is portrayed by Jeremy Irons, whose portrayal conveys the heaviness of the guilt and self-doubt of the misdeeds of his past. He finds himself further stressed by the Percys, who claim to be owed a debt for the assistance they provided in the overthrowing of Richard II, and the misbehaviour of his first-born and heir to the throne, Prince Hal.

A Prince's Moral Ambiguity

The Prince Hal we see in this play is no Prince Charming. Though he has charm, wit, and a sharp mind, the morality of his actions is often questionable. His actions that are done in jest are often at the expense of others, such as the teasing of the slow bartender, Francis, and the practical joke on Falstaff. We also learn early on that he claims to be associating with low-lifes and misbehaving so as to impress the kingdom by dramatically reforming his ways, and being highly revered when he becomes King. Is this deceit too morally repugnant for a future King? Is his misbehaviour the result of a lowered morality due to the company he keeps or is he acting selfishly for his own amusement?

Tom Hiddleston's portrayal has many gleaming moments. Fan-favourites may include the Danny-Zuko-like removing and re-dressing of a Thrilleresque red leather jacket, a very real slap from a large-ring-wearing Jeremy Irons, or perhaps the repeated need to duck when passing in and out of a tavern doorway. More seriously, the transformation from playing a mischievous under-achiever engaging in drunken shenanigans to a regal prince that gains honour on the battlefield and in the eyes of his father is achieved spectacularly. A particularly tremendous moment is the shift in Hiddleston's countenance when a joking game of roleplay leads to a heartfelt plea from Falstaff to not ever be banished from Hal's company; the emotion is virtually tangible.

Gluttony at its finest

The character of Falstaff is likely to also leave a lasting impression. He is a boisterous fellow that believes that the common definition of honour is absurd, for what good is honour when one is dead? He is a hedonistic man, seeking only to gain money through theft, and spend it on food, drink, and sex. His lies are wild and self-serving. Even when caught in a lie, his quick wit and ability for twisting words are immediately used to manipulate the situation to his advantage. Simon Russell Beale's performance is not only strong in delivery, but in physicality. Beale brings one of Shakespeare's most famous comedic characters to life in spectacular form.

Kimono clad Bo is surprised to see Kenzi home. Her bed is a mess, and he bubble bath is gasping for air. Kenzi thinks she’s a wreck over Ryan, thinking that she 86’d him over her. Kenzi steals the maples syrup, and runs to have breakfast for Nate. Ryan emerges from under the bubbles, taking none of it serious.

Beverly Garner gets called to the front of the calls for her well written paper on Romero and Juliet. The teacher asks her to read the paper to the class. She rants and raves about the politics rather than the romance. Impassioned over the cause, she passes out in the middle of her rant.

Beverly’s father goes to Dyson for help. He thinks his daughter was drugged. Her brain activity is off the chart, something none of her doctors have seen before. That gets Dyson’s attention. He takes down her information, and tells him to go spend time with his daughter.

Lauren is back, and her first stop is Bo, she has Nadia in tow. They had a pleasant trip, in which they didn’t take in the sights. Bo has been busy too, and Dyson comes breaking the tension. He brings over a case to discuss, and Bo is quick to tear away. He tells her of Beverly’s neurological shutdown. They aren’t sure if its fae related, or drug related. Dyson wants Bo to go undercover in high school. Bo thinks Dyson would be perfect undercover, and he sends her in as a teacher. Lauren asks if she could help, and Dyson asks her to check the girl’s medical files. Bo wants to bring in a third party who can speak teenager, and there is no one better than Kenzi.

Kenzi poses as a student, and Bo a teacher. Bo’s class takes interest, particularly the boys. They’re still working on Shakespeare and Bo is familiar with the tale, being pretty much in her own version, so much so that she accidently writes Ryan’s name instead of Romeo. One of the students points it out to her, and she fumbles for a new topic, and choose Werewolfs: fact or fiction. The students enjoy the change of pace.

Dyson poses as a guidance counselor and one of his students talk about his crazed girlfriend, acting erratic over prom, pms, and a load of other things. Dyson tries to ask him about drugs and things prevalent to his case, but he sees them all as metaphors. Dyson tells him that he doesn’t know how young he is, that he’s needs to go out and experience life, and real love.

Kenzi struggles to fit in with the uber preppy girls. They don’t appreciate Kenzi’s goth style, and the “Heathers” get catty. Worse of all they ruin Kenzi’s boots, and Kenzi gets physical.

Bo gets reprimanded for straying from the curriculum. She points out that she wanted to stay away from hormonal teachers, death and drugs especially after the whole Beverly incidence. Kenzi gets pulled into the vice principal’s office. The girls are striking out all over, and Dyson isn’t doing much better.

At the Dal, they inform Trick of their lack of luck. Dyson can’t detect immature fae, the lack of hormones make it impossible. Lauren has found that Beverly was definitely infected by something fae, but according to the Ash the only fae at the school are some Actheum, dumb fae. They have an extremely slow maturity rate. Fae children are usually placed in public school so that they can learn to fit in. Kenzi doesn’t want to go back to school, knowing she’s going to rumble with some plastics, but they all have to go back, and Kenzi has to find a place to belong.

Kenzi joins the chess club, but she doesn’t know how to play. Earl tries to teach her, and she awkwardly asks him about him about Beverly. He finally opens up, thinking that it was stressed, and that getting good grades isn’t enough, some people need more. Kenzi asks if the cheer squad is doping. Earl gets called away, but offers to play again tomorrow. Kenzi watches the cheerleaders, and one of them rants before passing out.

Lauren meets Bo at school, and the awkwardness between them remains.  With Nadia back, its tense between them. Lauren tells her that it contains traces of embryonic tissue. Lauren apologizes for Nadia’s PDA. Lauren is still hiding things from Nadia, and she feels bad over it. Kenzi interrupts with the cheerleader rant. Lauren runs off to get all the student files. Two intellectual rants, and two girls passed out, Kenzi thinks the coach and drugs may be involved.

Nadia waits for Lauren to return home. She tells her she was dropping something off to Bo, and she asks why she’s working with Bo. Lauren tells her that shes kind of a co-worker. Nadia wants to go back to Lauren’s lab and make love, and Lauren hesitates to tell her the truth, but stops herself. She tells her that there is much about the case she still needs to figure out, and urges Nadia to pick up her camera. Nadia chooses Lauren as her subject, and Lauren doesn’t get much down, and Nadia gets her to pose for some pictures. Nadia tries to turn it into a seduction, and Lauren has to stop her. Work calls. Nadia reluctantly leaves.

Bo goes to question he coach about her cheerleaders dropping like flies. Bo outright accuses the coach of doping the girls, and she turns hostile to Bo. The coach manhandles Bo, but she gets too close, and Bo succubus’s her. Subdued, she admits that she gave the girls some steroids, and diuretics to keep their weight down. Bo uses her power to ensure that the doping stops.

Earl gets dropped off by his dad. He’s very enamored of Kenzi he tells his father. Earl sets up the chess board, as Kenzi asks him about his dad. Earl gushes over being on the Reach for the Top team that the vice principal put together. Earl thinks he sees an opening, and dives in, kissing Kenzi. She freaks out and makes a run for it.

Kenzi reports to Bo earl’s attempt to steal a kiss. It was a little too wet for Kenzi’s taste. She tells him that his fame is going to his head. She spills about the little brain trust, and Bo makes a connection with the intellectual rants. Bo gets a surprise visit from Ryan, and he asks her to the dance. Bo tries to get him to leave, and he promises to be better than her first time. She tells him that some people are not meant to be together. She doesn’t like the fact that she likes Ryan, but he’s okay with that. Dyson spies Ryan leaving, and asks Bo what Ryan is doing around. He tells her that Ryan as dark fae shouldn’t be around here, but Bo tells him its personal. He may not like it, but Bo is unaligned and she gets to play with who she wants, even the sexy Loki.

Earl’s recent ex eats marshmellows and cries to Dyson about Earl making out with other girls. She blames herself. Dyson tells her that its not her its him, and that crying is not going to solve anything. As she weeps, Dyson tells her that she’s beautiful, and that she will find another mate for her soul. She asks him if he has a girlfriend, and if he wants one. When he doesn’t answer she breaks down in tears again. Poor wolfy.

Bo talks to the Vice Principal about his little team. He’s quite proud of them, and how far they’ve gone. Bo asks about the remarkable team, and their vast improvement. Bo worries about the amount of pressure put on the boys, but he understands the pressure of college, and obtaining scholarships, and is just trying to give the kids the best chance.

Kenzi concentrates on her homework, and Bo tells her that they’re undercover, she doesn’t have to actually do the homework. Kenzi goes on about the work, getting all beautiful mind on Bo. Oh no, Kenzi is infected. Bo takes Kenzi to Lauren, and as she continues on about geometry, Lauren takes a blood sample. Luckily Lauren has seen a curve in the rate of infection, and brain shutdown. Kenzi sees the equation Lauren was working on and erases it. Lauren and Bo panic for a moment, but it was incorrect. Lauren has a break through. If all the faes at the school are Actheums and someone gave them something to make them smarter that may be what the problem is. Bo is off to get a sample, that was likely transmitted orally. Lauren tells Bo that they have to stop the infection before it gets out of the school.

Dyson asks Bo about Kenzi, who is in good hands with Lauren. Bo is going after Vice Principal Dickerson, who created this brain trust out of no where. Dyson knows that Dickerson isn’t fae though, he had help. Dyson knows exactly who has been spreading the brain mono, Earl. He confronts Earl about kissing Sarah and Beverly, and Earl confesses to it all. Dyson tells him that Kenzi is sick, and he asks what has changed. Earl’s father has been making him lunch, and Dyson smells it. Eggs. His father is with Dickerson, and Dyson and Earl head off to confront them. Bo is in the Vice Principal’s office, but no one is there, she does a quick search, and gets caught by Dickerson. He goes to call security, and she confronts him about the Actheums, trying to figure out his motivations. Earl’s dad comes armed with a hammer and tells Dickerson to leave, he does. Looks like dear old dad is the one behind it. He asks what Bo is trying to do to her boy, all of the father’s of the quiz team have been boosting their sons so that they can be stop being second rate fae. Bo tells him that they’ve been infecting the humans, and he doesn’t care. Bo gets gets the upperhand and has him pinned when Dyson and Earl arrive. Earl is distraught that his father made him believe that his hard work was what was putting him ahead. He wonders if he was so bad before, why his father had to change him. His father does love him a lot.

The Samir is the culprit laying the egg. They gross featherless birds, whose eggs make the consumer smarter, and their use is against fae law. Although they will be punished, Trick notes that raising children is hard, no matter the circumstance. Kenzi giggles with Earl at the bar, she’s back to normal, Kenzi normal. Sarah and Beverly are cured too. Earl makes a wrong move, and Kenzi goes to correct his wrong move, but stops herself. He tells her that she’s going easy on him now that he’s dumb again, but she lays on the compliments. He goes in for another kiss, and she stops him this time. He takes the brush off well. Kenzi cheats at chess, and its all kosher between them.

Ryan drags Bo down the hallway. He has a surprise in store for her, and he flips on the lights. He wants to give her a good high school memory, and Bo is shocked. She tells him that some girl will really appreciate him, but that it’s complicated. It doesn’t have to be though, they’re not Romeo and Juliet, or star crossed lovers, they just really enjoy each other’s company. He turns on some music, and she gives him. She never got to go to prom, and he tells her that its okay, its all about the after party anyways. As they spin on the dance floor, Bo relaxes, they’re definitely not making curfew.

Nadia and Lauren finish some sexy time, and Lauren goes upstairs to shower. Nadia stays downstairs and looks over some pictures she took, they’re all of Lauren’s necklace, her symbol from the Ash.

Kenzi returns home from being roadie to Nate, and Bobo has some loud company. It’s Loki! After some introductions, Kenzi runs for pastries. Ryan asks if he should have asked them to join, oh he is such a bad boy. Bo reigns him in for round two.

Street guy Tony rolls a joint, when an old guy asks him for help. He knows Tony, but Cole has aged a whole lot. Tony freaks out as Cole dies.

Kenzi returns again, and Bo has finished with her houseguest. Kenz asks about the voicemail Bo left her. Bo explains that she and Lachlan may be on the same side. Gosh, times have changed. Kenzi is still head over heels over Nate, and Ryan makes Bo blush. It’s double date time!

Ryan works on some sensitive project, when Bo comes to proposition a double date. Ryan seems less than thrilled, but he’s willing to play. Ryan has to be the sexiest on this show.

Dyson shows takes Jack into custody, and his alpha wolf is just as sexy. He manhandles Jack’s father after the man puts his hands on him, and Hale has to step in. There’s something eating at Dyson, he’s extra touchy. Hale brings up Cole’s mysterious circumstances, but the case doesn’t interest him. And it looks like the wolf may be in a little hot water.

Bo chats with Trick, when Hale comes to get Trick’s help. The 22 year old backpacker definitely did not look his age. Trick asks Bo for her help since the Circet looks like the culprit based on some wounds, and killing is against their nature. Hale bristles a bit, but submits to the Blood King’s suggestion.

Kenzi likes Ryan’s choice of eatery, even though its crazy expensive. Ryan is paying, and Kenzi is on board. They head to question Tony, in a den of backpackers. He’s completely out of it. They ran into each other a lot, and the last time was with a girl who was into partying. He shows them a picture of the girl, but he has no contact info for her. He tells Bo about some others that have disappeared lately, but didn’t have the means to do so. Bo phones in to Hale, about the much larger case than they expected. The girl in the picture, delphine, boarded a bus to San Francisco, so she’s long gone.

Dyson is in trouble with the Captain. The man grabbed him first, but because he has friends in high places, the kid got off scott free, and the case is back to square one.

Kenzi has problems getting their table at the super exclusive eatery. The Hostess is less than accommodating. Her attitude changes when Ryan arrives. It’s all hugs and kisses on the cheek, not that I blame her. Ryan is charming. She takes them to their usual table. Kenzi gushes over the menu, wanting to order everything lobster, but Ryan has taken the liberty to order for them. His wine order raises a few eyebrows when he mentions that he was there when the 49 was bottled. Poor Nate still doesn’t know about the fae, and just how old is Ryan? Nate proposes a cheesy toast, and Ryan gets catty.

Another backpacker is at a clinic where they’re sucking out her youth. That hundred they offered her doesn’t look so appealing as she rapidly ages.

Nate tells a story from the road. And while Bo laughs and is enjoying it, Ryan doesn’t see the point of working so hard for so little. Ryan realizes that he’s being a jerk, and apologizes. The first course comes out, and Kenzi doesn’t love it. None of them do. Bo gets a call that takes her away from the table. Kenzi wants to make a break for it, but Bo begs her to stay. Ryan apologizes for being a buzz kill, and taking them somewhere that they’re obviously uncomfortable. He tells he was trying to impress them and to make Bo happy so they should order some drinks, and food and enjoy themselves on him. He has one more surprise, he’s asked a talent agent to come by and help Nate out. Oh nos, that is surely the Morrigan.

Ryan tags along with Bo to the hostile to speak with Tony. Delphine is back, and when Bo goes to talk to her, she makes a run for it. Bo and Ryan give chase, and Delphine is panicked until Bo uses a little bit of her mojo on her, which impresses Ryan. Delphine tells them that she wanted to leave the country to see a show, and she planned on raising the money in this medical testing clinic. Cole didn’t think it was safe, but she kept pushing, she had no clue he was in danger. And she came back to warn everyone.

It looks like Kenzi and Nate ordered everything on the menu, with full bellies they’re feeling much more warm and cozy feelings about Ryan, though Kenzi is still holding a little grudge about the tripe. In strides the Morrigan, and Kenzi has all new reasons to hold a grudge.

The clinic is far more posh than Ryan and Bo expected. Ryan talks fast to get the clinic worker, Tessa, to open up, posing as a rich new in town couple. She tells them about their most popular treatment, a rejuvenation treatment. Bo’s questioning rubs the girl the wrong way, and she shuts down, telling her that they’re booked for weeks. Ryan and Bo were both recognized. She blames the girl sucking out youth that she needs to be ready for when they return.

The Morrigan has a plan for Nate, she wants to thrust him into the limelight. He sounds completely on board, but when she mentions going to the office to sign paperwork. Kenzi puts more emphasis on his talent than looks. The Morrigan finally concedes to hear him play. She sends Nate off to grab his guitar, but tells Kenzi to stay and have a drink with her. The claws come out when Nate leaves, Kenzi goes into Momma Bear mode, but the Morrigan is ready to play hard ball. Nate’s dream will trump Kenzi’s desires, everyone wins in the deal except Kenzi.

Ryan takes the clinic’s shutdown attitude as a sign they should run off and enjoy Napa, but Bo know’s Tessa is hiding something. Bo heads in for a second look, while Ryan takes a phone call.

Hale goes to talk to the captain on Dyson’s behalf.  He asks for a little slack since they’re a fantastic tag team. Hale puts his badge on the line, and the Captain will get Dyson reinstated.

Bo sneaks into the clinic, and finds the latest victim being tended to. She holds the girl at knife point asking for answers, but never sees Tessa coming. Tessa knocks her out. Rule number one, make sure the area is safe. Poor Bobo, she’s  the newest donor. Bo awakens, shackled to the table. They are indeed Circlets. They have quite the business, and Lena isn’t quite on board. Tessa tells her to take care of her, and Lena listens to her sister.

Kenzi tries to bargain with the Morrigan for Nate. She sees something great in Nate, if Kenzi were not involved, but the Morrigan is toying with her. Kenzi offers anything short of her first born, and the Morrigan has something better in mind. Kenzi will owe her, or the Morrigan will take full advantage of the client agency relationship. Kenzi squirms at the idea of either, but agrees. The Morrigan leaves it to Kenzi to break the news to Nate.

Lena continues to drain everything out of Bo as Tessa watches, but looks like the girl didn’t secure the building either, because Ryan strolls in and holds her hostage with some brain frying gadget. He tells Lena to let Bo go, and to give back her youth. Bo wants them to give the humans back their years first, but Tessa balks and refuses. Tessa knows that Ryan won’t kill her over humans, being they’re all dark fae and all. Ryan and Bo have a very different matter of opinion. Tessa destroys the years held in the jar so there’s no further debate. Tessa’s bossiness gets to Lena at Bo’s poking. And finally Lena snaps, she takes Tessa’s essence. She used Lena for too many years, exploiting her gifts instead of protecting her. Lena drains Tessa, leaving her dead, and goes to save the humans. Ryan is happy over the good turn out, but Bo isn’t going to forget this anytime soon.

Nate doesn’t take the Morrigan’s cold reception well. She refused to see him at her offices. He thinks that his music is the problem, but Kenzi remains the cheerleader in his corner. She tells him that she was going to make him someone who he isn’t so he should be happy he dodged the bullet. Kenzi tells Bo that Ryan sent the Morrigan for Nate. She apologizes for his actions, and reveals to her that Ryan is dark fae. Bo plans to have a few words for Ryan, but she’s not sure she can cut the ties. Don’t cut the ties.

Hale finds Dyson in a bar. Jack turned himself in, terrified. Hale asked if Dyson used his wolf to scare the kid, but Dyson tells him that he didn’t. Dyson’s downward spiral continues, he’s done explaining himself to everyone.

Bo comes to visit Ryan, but she’s not in the mood for any gifts. He doesn’t see why sending the Morrigan to Nate was such a bad idea. He was giving Nate an opportunity of a lifetime. She tells him that its not his place, that she would kill him in the end. But there’s a price for everything, and Ryan understands that. Another touchy subject is his clan alliance. He chose dark fae long ago, and he stands by it. He points out that although Bo claims to be unaligned she’s been pretty firmly team Light. He tells her that Light isn’t good, and Dark isn’t bad. There’s a lot of grey, and even Light has a bad side. All fae tend to think less of humans, and points out her little display with Delphine earlier was like playing with her food. Ryan is right on all points, and Bo melts a little. He wants to see Bo unleashed, which who doesn’t. Bo’s anger slips away, and he tells her to leave the alliances behind. He shows her the present, it’s the hostess from earlier. There’s no rules at Casa Ryan, and its about to be a very hot time.

Bo forgets that Kenzi left town with Nate. It’s really quiet with her gone, and there’s no coffee, double boo. Bo calls her bestie, but settles for leaving her a message. Lachlan drops in with a retriever job.

Sadie is fawned over by a journalist. She draws off his fanboying, and loses his life to her hungers. She doesn’t even bat an eyelash when he falls over dead.

Lachlan tells Bo about a very naughty Ifrit, a type of Jinn, and he makes a mean cup of coffee. He tells her that they have to enslave the Ifrit to get the truth out of her, and they need info about the Garuda. Bo is a little against enslavement, cough, cough Lauren. And the Ash tells her that the doctor will play an important part before this is all done, but he’s willing to renegotiate her at a later point. Bo is willing to play, but she has to go meet Ryan to get the lamp, the hottie guy Lachlan sent to her birthday party.

Trick goes over his vision with Dyson and Hale. He tells them about the Garuda, and its thirst for a renewed war.

Bo looks over the beautiful and odd bracelet Ryan gave her. Trick gives her a call, and doesn’t like the fact that Lachlan told her about the Garuda. He had no clue that Lachlan was involved, and he doesn’t like not knowing. Dyson has his own confession. He tells Trick about the truth he revealed about not being about to love Ciara. He doesn’t want to move past Ciara too, so he’s off to seek answers.

Bo heads over to Ryan’s high tech place. It’s quite the madman’s workshop, and he’s fast at work. He finishes his latest gadget, and tells her to hit him. His belt doesn’t work quite like its suppose to, but he’s off to find her lamp. He’s got many lamps, some with their share of kinks, but her lamp happens to be a music box. A mix of science and magic isn’t so easily obtained. She didn’t even thank him for her bracelet, and although he won’t give it to her, he will sell it. He bills the Ash, and does some not so subtle flirting. Box gets her lamp, and Ryan runs to put out some flames.

Bo stakes out Sadie’s stomping grounds, but someone has beaten her to her prey, none other than Ryan. He introduces her to Sadie, who takes Bo by surprise, with compliments, and she’s taken in by her. Sadie lays a hand on Bo’s arm, and Ryan cools down her effect. Bo pulls Ryan to the bar for a drink, and the bartender even flirts with him. Its hard not to be taken in by his flirtiness. He’s left out a key piece of trapping the Ifrit, because he’s got a little voyeur itch he wants to scratch. She agrees to let him watch, and he tells her the magic words. He gives Bo the low down on the Ifrit powers, and how to control them. Ryan tries to pick her up with the private jet line, and Bo continues to play hard to get.

Dyson plays the Norn a little visit. And he’s nothing left to give. He claims that she over reached, while she threatens to neuter him for his outbursts, but she’s willing to clarify. He screwed the pooch. Wolves mate for life, and since he gave Bo all his love, and she took that, he has none left to give anyone. Wolfy is not a happy boy.

Bo watches Sadie, looking for a good moment to pounce. She makes off without Ryan, and they find Sadie’s latest victim, though still not sure her power. Bo exclaims that she wanted to spend more time with Sadie, and she appears. Bo miscasts Ryan’s lamp, and when he tries to help her, they jostle it, and it falls to the ground broken. It works, but they’re inside too, and Sadie is pissed. Sadie throws some wicked fireballs, and he tells Bo to use the bracelet all Wonder Woman style. Ryan tries to remember what he was doing when he built the maze. He tells her that he’s a Loki, he comes from a family of mischief makers. He ponders the greatness of being a succubus, and asks about her solitary feedings. He tinkers with the box, which allows her to make a sos call to Dyson. It works barely, but Sadie catches up to them, and they have to make a run for the attic. Lucky them, he wasn’t sober when he designed that part either, and he’s off for more tinkering.

Dyson tracks down the smashed up lamp. Ryan isn’t so good at fixing his own trap and releasing them. Bo is struggling in her title, and Ryan respects Bo and her nonaligned position. His enlightening moment, is double edged, and he remembers how to free them, but freedom looks off, and Sadie sends him plummeting down the shaft. Bo tells her that she just destroyed their way out. Sadie needs the spotlight though, and when she threatens to burn the entire box down, Bo goes into fawning mode and has the Ifrits attention.

The lamp is broken, and Trick can’t fix it with his tuning fork, luckily there someone is there with perfect pitch. Hale sings the lamp, as Bo struggles to maintain focus. Sadie vamps it up, when she notices that she’s being somewhat summoned. A whispy Bo talks to the boys, while the Ifrit feeds off her. They need to control the Ifrit, but the boys don’t have control over the box. Bo goes for another option. She punches the Ifrit, “overwhelmed” being near her, and asks for a kiss. Sadie doesn’t refuse, and as Bo leans in Ryan climbs up the elevator shaft. Bo leaves her make on the Ifrit by way of hickey, and turns out Ryan fixed his belt just in time. Ryan tells her to burn straight down as hot as she can, and there’s a 50/50 chance they’re all released. Bo takes the chance and makes the wish. They’re released. The guys are stunned, but Bo is in a rush. Sadie refuses to go into the lamp for less than a million. But Bo tells Lachlan they aren’t looking for slaves, and he can either get his information her way or none at all. Rather than being his champion, she offers him partnership, and he accepts.

Bo arrives with Ryan’s payment. Bo is unsure the Ash got what he wanted, but she hopes he did. She begrudgingly admits that she had a good time, Ryan did as well. He asks her out again, but Bo declines on account of her complicated history. He heaps on the compliments, and he tells her he’s not really interested in either of their baggage, clean slate. He tells her he’ll be thinking about her either way, and she rips off her clothes. Thank goodness. Finally.

Ciara finds Dyson at the Dal, and she wants answers now. She thinks she knows everything about the Norn. She heard about the rumors when Stephan died, but Dyson tells her about his most recent dealings. He offered his wolf, but she took his love he confesses. He tells her that he cannot love her, and she’s pissed off that he couldn’t give up his wolf for her husband, but he could for Bo. What? Way to think about yourself fairy princess.

Bo and Ryan leave each other breathless. And he asks if she’s ever been with a dark fae, and  it ruins her afterglow. He tells her that he’s not defined by his clan, that there are no rules, and that if she wants to walk she can. It only turns her on more, and she hops on for round two.
