Netflix's Daredevil has a new trailer!

The gritty Daredevil has a new trailer. We saw a teaser back in the beginning of February, and while the casting was fantastic, the teaser left us with feelings of meh. Some of that could have been because the CW had just released a photo of Atom's suit, and that was full of awesome.

Marvel's Daredevil is now back, with a full length trailer, which not only gives us a longer look but also a better look of Vincent D'Onofrio as Wilson Frisk. Charlie Cox does a good job embodying both the Matt Murdock and Daredevil personas. Personally, I'm still not a fan of the costume, but I'm not completely opposed to it either.

The entire feel of the series is very dark, far darker than anything else that Marvel has shown us so far. There's not much in ways of special effects in the trailer, and there won't likely be much. The series will take place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as Iron Man and Thor reference point to, in the aftermath of the Alien Invasion on New York. But with that being said, don't expect the show to try to do heavy tie ins with the movies ala Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Here is the trailer for season one of MARVEL’S DAREDEVIL, which will premiere with thirteen (13) one-hour episodes on April 10, 2015 at 12:01 AM PT in all territories where Netflix is available.

The series will stream in 4k.

Synopsis: Blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) fights against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the Super Hero “Daredevil” in modern day Hell's Kitchen, New York City.

Marvel's Daredevil - Wilson Fisk First Look

We've seen the trailer, and now we get a couple images of Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk, the man who will go up against our hero, Daredevil.

Season one of MARVEL’S DAREDEVIL will premiere with thirteen (13) one-hour episodes in 4K on April 10, 2015 at 12:01 AM PT in all territories where Netflix is available.

Synopsis: Blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) fights against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the Super Hero “Daredevil” in modern day Hell's Kitchen, New York City.

The shadowy figure behind organized crime in Hell’s Kitchen, Wilson Fisk has one mission in mind: to save Hell’s Kitchen by any means necessary, no matter the cost.  This immediately puts him at odds with Matt Murdock’s vigilante alter-ego, who also seeks to protect the city – but sees the criminal element as the root of the city’s problems.  Central to this conflict is that Fisk truly believes he’s doing good for Hell’s Kitchen and at times may seem more of a hero to its people than Daredevil.  Intelligent, complex and physically imposing, Wilson Fisk is the perfect foil for Matt Murdock, and the two will collide dramatically in Marvel’s Daredevil.

SDCC Spartacus Panel

In an effort to promote the series’ conclusion, Liam McIntyre (Spartacus), Manu Bennett (Crixus) and series creator and executive producer Steven S. DeKnight were on hand for the panel, but as I was going to find out, just because they’re the ones listed to appear does not mean they’re the only ones that would.

Past Spartacus Comic-Con panels have been met with great fan-fare, and given the fact that this would be the absolute last one, meant that although I hadn’t seen the series yet, I did not want to miss this one. After all, there was the promise of a sneak peek at what DeKnight describes as an “epic on a scale you will not believe.” Half naked, sweaty men, total carnage, okay I was in, and it was a packed house for the panel.

DeKnight talked a lot about sticking the landing, and the pressure to get this final season (premieres January 2013 on Starz) right for the fans. "Let's make the biggest, most epic season ever and go out on a high," he said. That being said, they had to condense down a large chunk of history to squeeze it all in, so it'll be action-packed, but not 100 percent factual, timeline-wise. "Don't write a high school paper based on the show," DeKnight joked.

In fact, there was so much death and carnage that McIntyre said they actually ran out of fake blood to use while filming "Spartacus: War of the Damned." Good news for fans of the bloodier parts of the show!
But I think the highlight of the panel for many was when Bennett talked about the war dance they all do, called Haka, to send off cast members whose characters have been killed, and there have been more than a few. He showed the audience a bit of it, and lifted his shirt, really getting into it, which got huge cheers from the crowd.

The biggest cheers were for the panel's surprise guest: Lucy Lawless, who played Lucretia. She joined the guys on stage and praised them for letting her play such a "criminally insane" character.  And she was the first of many. It wasn't long before the rest of the "Spartacus" gang popped on stage, Nick Tarabay, Peter Mensah, Craig Parker, Katrina Law, Lesley-Ann Brandt and Viva Bianca came out, getting the whole crowd cheering on their feet.

But just because they came out, don’t expect any of them will be magically resurrected for this final season: "Yes, I'm actually dead," Viva Bianca confirmed about her character, Ilithyia, though both she and Lawless joked about the amount of finger twitching they snuck in, you know just in case the writers wanted to change their minds.

And if you’ve yearned for that iconic “I am Spartacus” moment, you just might get it. DeKnight hinted that  they "may tip [their] hat to it." And even though the show is approaching its final bow, the writer did hint that a movie or a spin-off series "could happen."

Beverly Hills, Calif., July 11, 2012 - Starz announced today two new original series projects in development.

As part of STARZ overall deal with “Spartacus” creator Steven S. DeKnight, STARZ is developing “Incursion,” an epic science fiction action-thriller that follows a squad of soldiers caught in a war against a hostile alien race.  Each season the battle will be fought on a new, exotic planet as humanity punches deeper into enemy territory. Grittily realistic combat, darkly complex characters and intrigue on a cosmic scale will permeate the tale of fighting men and women facing the pressures of war and an enemy unlike any ever seen.   In addition to his international acclaim on “Spartacus,” Steven has worked on such well-regarded series as “Buffy The Vampire Slayer,” “Angel,” “Smallville,” and “Dollhouse.

J. Michael Straczynski is the wildly successful writer and producer whose credits include such fan classics as Thor,Underworld: Awakening, “Babylon 5,” and The Changeling. He has teamed with horror master Roy Lee, whose credits include such hits as The Ring, The Strangers, and The Woman in Black in developing "Vlad Dracula" with veteran producer Rob Tapert, whose credits include the international STARZ hit series, “Spartacus,” iconic “Xena: Warrior Princess,” Evil Dead andThe Grudge.  The project is a unique spin of the classic tale, blending the historical facts of the 15th century Prince of Wallachia, with the fictional Dracula whose story is known around the world and continues to fascinate audiences.  “Vlad Dracula” traces his evolution from a revered ruler to the world's most feared vampire, and his slow downfall as he struggles desperately to hang on to his humanity, his wife and his kingdom.

Managing Director of Starz, Carmi Zlotnik said “Steven S. DeKnight, J.
