Ramsey Snow, became Bolton. Jon Snow was offered to be legitimized too if he helped Stannis. He became the commander of the Night's Watch instead. Sansa saw Littlefinger receive a Raven's scroll, which he claimed to be about marriage proposals. Brienne offered her her sword, but she refused it, which did not make Brienne give up on her. Cersei set a high reward for the man who brought her Tyrion's head. Jorah Mormont betrayed Daenerys, and she sent him from her City. Arya found Jaqen H'gar, and entered the House of Black and White to become no one.

Inside the House of Black and White, things look bleak and dusty. Arya spends her day sweeping. She watches Jaqen though, as he gives a man a glass of water. The man drinks its down, and walks towards a statue leaking. He falls on his knees. Arya puts down her broom. She's been sweeping for days, but she didn't come to sweep his floors. He told her that she could be his apprentice. Jaqen tells her that everyone must serve, the faceless men most of all. The girl only serves herself, and she must serve the many face god. She doesn't see that one among the idols around the room. Jaqen tells her that there is only one god, and she knows his name, and his gift The man who drank the water has died, others come in to collect him as Arya watches. She asks another where the man is being taken, but is ignored.

In King's Landing, it's wedding day. The people call for Margaery, to the disgust of Cersei. Inside, Tommen and Margaery say their vows and are wed. Tommen is very gleeful as everyone claps.

In the bedchamber, Tommen beds his new wife. He asks if he hurt her, it all happened so fast. He didn't, she assures him. He was very sweet. He wants nothing more than to do this all day every day. Margaery laughs it off. Tommen jumps at her for another round, but she reminds him that they have eternity, and they should catch their breath. For now, she wants to know all about him. He finds the title sounds strange to him. He asks if Queen sounds strange to her. It does. He still thinks it feels odd. He's King, because his brother died. She tells him that he shouldn't feel guilty. He doesn't. She thinks that they will be very happy together, as does he. She mentions that her grandmother couldn't wait to leave, that the capital isn't for everyone, asking if his mother likes it there. He doesn't think she does. She told him not to ever trust anyone in Kings Landing. She notes that it must be nice to have her watching over him. He's a man now though. Margaery is well aware of that, but to his mother he will always be her baby. She's been so generous, Margaery goes on. She's laying it on thick. After losing so much so quickly, her husband, her father and her child, she will never let him go.

Cersei is happy that her son is so happy. The first days of marriage often are. Cersei notes how pretty Margaery is, and how she smiles so much. Tommen wonders if she misses Casterly Rock, but Cersei tells him that there is nothing in Casterly Rock for her. Tommen remembers that she always liked the people there better, and that she hates the smell of King's Landing. Cersei wonders why he's asking about it. He thinks that she might be happier in Casterly Rock.

Margaery laughs with her maids about her wedding night when Cersei pays her a visit. Margaery offers her some food or drink. Cersei declines, she just wanted to tell her if she ever needed anything she's there for her. Margaery prattles on. Thanking her, asking Cersei what her title is now. Cersei doesn't think they need to be so formal. Margaery alludes to Tommen's zeal, and the likelyhood of offspring soon. Cersei reminds her that she's there for anything she needs. Margaery turns back to her giggling ladies.

Inside of Bolton's keep, Theon limps along. A pair of flayed men are raised, Theon quivers at the sight. Roose tells his son that they cannot hold the North on fear alone, and he didn't send him here to collect bodies. The tennant refused to pay. He told him that the warden of North would always be a Stark and he refused to kiss the boot of a traitor. Ramsey flayed him still alive, his wife and brother too, while the son watched. The new Lord paid his taxes. Roose has something more to say, and demands, Ramsey listen. Theon listens too. They don't have enough men if the other houses of the North rise against them. Ramsey understands, but he thought that they had a pact with the Lannisters. He had a pact with Tywin, and he's dead. None of the other Lannisters will ever bring an army this far north to help them. The best way to form an alliance isn't by peeling a man's skin off, but by marriage. Now that Ramsey is a Bolton, he needs to marry a suitable bride, and he's found a perfect girl.

Poor Sansa. She rides by Littlefinger's side, and she has no idea what he has in store for her. He brings her to a new keep, which will be her new home. She recognizes it. He's brought her to the Boltons. She reminds him that Roose Bolton killed her brother, he betrayed him. Winterfell is her home, but Sansa doesn't feel that way about it anymore. Littlefinger reminds her that she is still a Stark, even if she has dyed her hair. Sansa refuses, she will not marry a Bolton, she would rather die. Littlefinger tells her that he will not force her to do anything, he cares for her. If she really doesn't want to do this, he will turn them around. She has been a bystander to violence since her father died. He tells her to stop running and avenge her family. He kisses her on the forehead, leaving the choice up to her. Sansa rides forward, and their guard follow.

Brienne and Pod watch from the hillside. They plan to ride around the keep, she knows where they're going. Pod shines her boots. She asks why he's still a squire, he's too old to be a squire. He tells her the tale of how he came to be in Tyrion's service. It was to be a punishment by Tywin, but Pod didn't see it that way. Tyrion was always good to him. Brienne tells him that all of his Lords have been good to him, except her, she's a nasty person. Pod is proud to be her squire, she's a fierce fighter. Brienne is sorry for being so nasty to him all the time. If she wasn't he wouldn't learn, Pod tells her. She decides if he wants to be a knight she will really teach him. She can't knight him, but she can teach him to fight. Pod appreciates her plans. He makes a fire for them. She wasn't always a knight. He asks how she ended up serving Renley. When she was younger her father held a Ball. She didn't want to go, but she was dragged, and she liked it. The boys all fought for the chance to dance with her, and her father was happy. She was happy too, until she saw some of the boys snickering. The boys were all laughing at her. She realized then that she was the ugliest girl alive. She tried to run away, but Renley stopped her. He told her not to let them see her cry, that they were nasty little shits. He danced with her the rest of the night, and none of the other boys said a word since he was the king's brother. Pod asks about his sexuality, since he heard that Renley was gay. She knew that he didn't love her, but he saved her because he was kind. From then on she followed and protected him, but she couldn't save him in the end. Nothing hurts worse than failing the one you love. One day she will avenge him. Pod asks how you fight a shadow. Brienne knows that it was Stannis, and men can be killed.

Stannis and Davos pay a visit to the new Lord Commander Snow. They want privacy, but Snow isn't dismissing his Stewart. Stannis asks if he has considered his offer. It's what he always wanted, but his place is with the Night's Watch. Stannis is giving him a chance to avenge his family, to take back Winterfell and rule the North. Jon wishes that he could fight beside him, but he made a pledge, and he has to keep it. Stannis notes that he's as stubborn as his father, reminding him that honor got his father killed. Jon asks how long they plan to stay, for planning purposes. Winter is coming. Stannis is aware. They will march for Winterfell soon. Jon asks about the Wildlings. They would rather burn then fight for Stannis, so he will leave their fate to Jon. Stannis tells him that execution would be the safest, or he could see if their new leader would be more open to negotiation. Stannis is sure that most of the Night's Watch would rather see the Wildlings dead. Jon is aware of that. Stannis also notes that he has many enemies at Castle Black, and may want to consider relocating some of them. He suggest giving Alleister East Watch by the sea before he leaves. Davos notes that he sees something in Jon, it may not be apparent by his tone but its the truth. He wants wants best for the kingdom, as the one true king. Jon has sworn to stay clear of politics with the Night's Watch. Davos asks the boy the pledge, stopping him at “the shield that guards the realms of men.” He points out that as shield he may be more efficient, not on his icy wall, but wading in the muck and doing what needs to be done. As long as the Boltons rule the North, the North will suffer. Jon is left with a lot to think about.

Arya toys with her coin, when a zombie like girl comes into her cell. She asks who she is, believing Arya is undeserving of her place, and of the coin. She asks again who she is, and strikes Arya whens eh says no one. She asks and strikes several more times before Arya goes for Needle. Jaqen comes in, and asks what the girl thinks she is doing. She is playing the game of faces she tells him, but Arya isn't ready for that. Arya thinks she is ready, she is ready for anything. Jaqen sees the sword, and points out that she is surrounded by Arya Stark's things. The man wonders how no one came to be surrounded by Arya's things. The girl leaves, her deed done.

Arya ties her clothes up with Rocks and tosses them into the water. Next she tosses away her bag of silver, and even her coin. Needle she grabs last, holding it in her hands. Saying goodbye to it is far harder. Arya begins to cry. She cannot toss Needle away. Instead she hides it among the rocks.

She goes back to sweeping inside of the House of Black and White. Another body is taken away, but the door doesn't close this time. Arya looks towards it, before she can let her curiosity get the best of her, Jaquen takes her through it. They head down the fire lit stairs. He leaves her in a room with the girl, and the body. The girl wordlessly waits for Arya, and together they undress the body. She bathes it. Arya asks what do they do after they wash them, the girl does not answer. Arya gets to work washing.

The gates are opened, and Sansa and Littlefinger arrive. Theon watches from above. Roose and Ramsey wait to greet them. Roose welcomes her, and Sansa courtsey with good manners. Roose introduces Ramsey to her, and a group of ladies watch them, very unhappily. Sansa is taken to her room, and an elderly woman welcomes her home, the North remembers.

Jon asks after the Maester, he isn't feeling well. Jon brings the first task to the brothers attention, a new latrine pit. They've appointed a captain to oversee the task. He tells Brian that its a good job for a ginger. Next he turns his attention to Sir Alleister. He names him first Ranger. The men all approve. Janos he appoints to Grey Guard, which he does not approve of. Its a ruin, but Jon tells him to restore it. Janos thinks he's too good for the task. He's mistaken though, that was a command, not an offer. Janos will not have it though, he refuses it. Jon orders Lord Janos to be taken outside, and asks Olli to get his sword. Alleister does not stand in the way of the men who look to grab him. Jano calls out, thinking that Jon is merely trying to scare him. He thinks he has important friends in the Capital. Jon mounts the stairs, sword in hand. He asks Janos for any last words. Janos asks for forgiveness, he will do as Jon asks. He asks for mercy, he is afraid, he has always been afraid. Jon cleaves his head from his body.

In the brothel, they play some godly games when the Sparrows swoop in. They grab the High Septon. Lancel tells him that he is a sinner, and he shall be punished. He is marched naked from the establishment, through the streets under the chant of sinner. Whenever he moves to cover himself, they strike him on the buttocks.

The High Septon comes before Cersei and her counsel. He has been insulted, and assaulted by the Sparrows. The Master of Whispers heard that it started in the brothel. The Septon claims that even whores can have their confessions heard. The Maester thinks that a man's private affairs should be private. The Septon wants the Sparrows to be punished, the High Sparrow punished most of all.

Cersei heads to see the High Sparrow. Her guard does not think that it is a good idea. Cersei wades through the poor, to an elderly man feeding the hungry. He talks of his position, and Cersei asks why he has no shoes. He gave them to someone else, as they all do. He tells them No one is special, and so they think that he is special, which he finds funny. He wonders if Cersei has come to tempt him, he hopes not. She has comes about the incident with the High Septon, the representative of the Gods. Hypocrisy is a boil, and lancing a boil is never pleasant. He thinks they could have been more careful. Cersei admits that the High Septon came to her, but he doesn't want him arrested, but executed. Her thoughts are aligned with his. The corrupt man was bringing down the faith of the people, and he is in the red keep. The faith and the crown are the only things that hold up the city, and they must do everything to protect eachother.

Cersei gives the Master of Whispers a message for Littlefinger. She asks if he has made progress, he has. She wants it to be clear on the meaning of literally. A body jerks beneath the sheets.

Sansa walks through the streets, and Theon tries to keep out of her sight. Ramsey notes that she is very lovely. Littlefinger is very fond of Sansa. Ramsey promises to never hurt her. Roose asks for a moment alone. Littlefinger assures him that Tyrion never consummated the marriage, but Roose cares little for virginity, he needs her name. Littlefinger has given him all he wants then as promised. Roose asks if he is prepared for the consequences. Littlefinger does not think that the Lannisters have as much power as they once did. Jamie has no allies, Tommen is a soft boy, Margaery adores Sansa, and Cersei becomes less important daily. Roose points out that she still has many friends in high places. He gives Littlefinger her missive, that just arrived. Littlefinger finds it strange that the seal is broken. Roose admits that Littlefinger's gamble makes him suspicious. Roose gambled when he betrayed Rob Stark, but Roose points out that he had Tywin Lannister's backing then. The Eyrie is still his, and the last time that the Lords of the Eyrie aligned with the North they took down one of the greatest dynasties. Littlefinger would like to use a bird, and Roose would like to read the reply.

Tyrion is going crazy inside of the carriage. He needs to get out of it. Varys reminds him that Volantis is a big city, with many people who could report back to Cersei. If Tyrion doesn't get out soon, he's going to lose his mind, and be of no good to Daenerys. With a weak disguise in place, Tyrion is willing to take his chances.

In the market, Tyion and Varys walk the slave markets. A whore rallys the people, she's a red priest, and she's caught Tyrion's eye. Varys cautions him to quiet. She calls Daenerys the savior, and Tyrion mocks that Varys didn't tell him they were heading to meet the savior. She makes eye contact with him, and he thinks its time to head off to a brothel. Inside, there are plenty of Daenerys supporters, even a Daenerys look alike. Mormont all but weeps into his beer as he looks at the look alike. Varys points out that someone who inspires priests and whores is worth taking a look at. Tyrion goes in search of a companion. She thinks that he looks like a man with no money. Tyrion tells her that until recently, he was very wealthy. He is always pays his debts, its his thing. She notices his glance at the faux-Daenerys. They all want to fuck a Queen. Not Tyrion. If he could pick any girl he would pick her, because she has a skeptical mind. She accepts, but tells him that she has to wash him first. He tells her he can't though. No one is more shocked than him. What will he do in his spare time. He heads out for a piss, and Mormont follows. He tells Mormont that the show is almost over. Mormont binds him and gags him. He's taking Tyrion to the Queen, the only question is to which one?

Tyrion was given a choice. Brienne felt failure. Cersei sent her daughter to safety, but Oberon was killed before his mistress in a trial by combat. The sons of the Harpy crossed a line, and Daenerys called for his capture. Arya used her coin for passage to Braavos.

Arya prepares to enter the city of Braavos, by passing beneath the guardian statue's large feet. A horn sounds, and Arya clutches her chest, she's not afraid, she's ready. She's rowed ashore to the bustling city. The open water market is a large one, but they pass it for somewhere far more quiet. The captain takes her to the house of black and white to find the man she seeks. She thanks him for bringing her, but any man of Braavos would have done the same. Arya approaches the large black and white doors. It takes her a few tries, for the doors to be open to her. She greets the man, and utters the words “Valar Morghuilis.” They seem to have no effect. She pulls out the coin Jaquen H'ghar gave her, telling him his name, and that she has crossed the sea and has no place else to go. He tells her that there is no on with that name here, and she has everywhere to go. Arya turns, and rather than leave, she sits upon the steps. She repeats the list of people she wants to kill. That list is much shorter than it once was. Arya sits there through the dark, the rain, the sunshine, just repeating the list over and over. Cersei, Walter Frey, the Mountain, Ser Meryn Trant. Arya gets tired of reciting the same thing, and tosses the coin into the water.

Brienne rides, while Pod walks to a nearby tavern. Pod eats making eyes at the serving wench. Sansa and Littlefinger are lunching at the same tavern. Sansa asks about a Raven's scroll received before they left. Littlefinger's proposal has been accepted. Pod spots Littlefinger, and Sansa as well. Her dark disguise really isn't very useful, and it looks retched. Pod informs Brienne that is is her, and that she is surrounded by knights. Brienne is ready to spring to action. She sends him out to find more horses. Littlefinger asks if she likes the ale, she doesn't find it all too appealing, and wonders why men like it. He tells her it gives some men courage. Brienne approaches Littlefinger and Sansa, his knights block her path, but she introduces herself all the same. Littlefinger remembers her when she served Renley. He allows her in, noting that someone paid for her well. Brienne drops to her knee, telling Sansa that she was her mother's sworn sword before her death, that she vowed to find her and protect her. She offers to shield her back, give her counsel, and give her life for hers if need be. Littlefinger tells her they don't need to be so formal, but points out that Cat never mentioned Brienne, and he's known her for a long time. Brienne served Catherine after Renley's murder, which she had tried to save him. Littlefinger remembers that she was accused, and Brienne begins to lose her battle. She was accused by men that did not see what happened. Renley was murdered by a shadow, a shadow with a face of Stannis. She sounds crazy, and the light in Sansa's eyes go out. Littlefinger would not want a woman like her protecting her. Experience has made him wary of outsiders. Brienne asks for a moment alone, but Sansa refuses. She saw her at Joffery's wedding, bowing to the King. Neither of them wanted to be there, and sometimes they don't want to be there she tells Sansa. And sometimes they do, Sansa replies.

Littlefinger offers her some “protection.” Brienne gets out of there in a hurry, sending their horses all over the place. Pod has her mount ready, and they race off, with the knights close behind. Brienne is the much better rider, and Pod finds himself at the mercy of his horse going down the wrong path. Brienne loses her tail, and doubles back. She sees Sansa riding off with Littlefinger. Another Stark girl has refused her. Pod gets control of his horse, only to be thrown off of it. The knights catch up to Podrick, who is unarmed. Brienne rides in just in time, killing the pair. Podrick rises. Since both Stark girls refused her, maybe she's released from her vow. Brienne doesn't see it that way. She doesn't think that Sansa is safe with Littlefinger, and she's going after them.

Cersei calls Jamie. She received a gift from Dorne. Inside is a snake sculpture with a necklace in its mouth. There are only two in the world, the one that Cersei wears and Myrcella's. Cersei thinks that it is a threat. Their daughter is alone in a city, surrounded by people who hate her. Jamie tells her to keep her voice down, not about her distaste for Dorne, but of Myrcella's paternity. Cersei suggests that he does not call her his daughter then. Being the children of a King hasn't exactly been good for their children. Cersei mulls over the death of their first born, their daughter being held prisoner, and their youngest set to marry the smirking whore from Highgarden. Jamie plans to head to Dorne to get her back. He won't be taking an army, or going alone, and he definitely won't be asking permission.

Bronn walks with his bride to be on the beach as she prattles on about sunflowers and music. Bronn couldn't care about the wedding or planning. She wants pigeon pies like they eat in the castle. He's hardly listening. He can't believe that he'll get a castle. She points out that they won't live there. When her mother dies, her sister will inherit the castle not them. Her sister is mean and hateful. Bronn thinks his betrothed is a good person, and her sister is hateful. He's been around the world and meanness has a way of coming around. Her sister will get hers somehow. She spots Jamie, sitting, waiting, looking very dashing. Bronn heads forward to rekindle their bromance. Bronn gives his condolences, introducing his betrothed. Jamie charms her with a simple kiss. Bronn sends her off, then gets down to business, he doesn't see how this will be good for him, but Jamie assures him that it is. Bronn reads the scroll. His betrothed has been promised to another, Bronn doesn't see how that is good for him. He's going to accompany Jamie on an important mission and when he returns he'll get a better girl, and a better castle.

In Dorne, Ellaria watches Myrcella and the young Prince in the gardens. She goes to see the Prince, but his Captain bars her path. She threatens him, and the Prince allows her to speak to him. She wants vengeance for his brother, her slain lover. He reminds her that his brother died in a trial by combat, one he volunteered for. She wants him to avenge him, to go to war. But he will not. He will bury his brother. She tells him that the sand snakes are with her, they will avenge their father, and they have the support of the people. She wants to kill Myrcella, sending her back one finger at a time. He loved Oberon, but they do not mutilate little girls for vengeance while he rules. She threatens, not long, storming out. His guard suggests a little skewering, stroking his blade, but the Prince shakes his head in refusal.

Daario walks the streets with Grey Worm. His unsully have lost their ability to blend in, to be the skilled assassins they once were. They're too out in the open, so its no surprise that they've found no Sons of the Harpy. His Second Sons blend in with the group, and they're much more successful. They head into a home, but find no one there. Daario points out that the unsully no longer have fear and they have forgotten how to hide. Daario stabs a wall, and uncovers a man. Inside the wall there are a pair of daggers and a harpy mask.

Daenerys listens to her advisers. One former slave tells her that the Sons of the Harpy want to put a salve collar back on his neck, and he begs her not to let that happen. He wants him killed. That would send a message. Barristan Selmy thinks that she should exercise restraint, they need more information. Daario points out that the Son of the Harpy has no more valuable information, Daario questioned their prisoner himself. Another wonders why he would want to do for slavery, it does nothing for him. Daenerys thinks he liked knowing there was someone lower than him. But the former slave thinks he was paid off, which happens all the time. The guy from one of the great families hasn't heard of this practice. Barristan suggests a trial, teach the people of Mereen that there is a better way. The slave thinks that things are different here than where she comes from. There is no mercy, no fair trial here. All the people understand is blood. She dismisses them. Barristan stays behind. He wants to remind her of the mad king. Daenerys thinks that he's reminding her of lies. They were not lied. Her father was a mad, cruel man who burned people with wildfire. His effort to stamp out rebellion lead to all Targaryeans to be killed but 2. He thought he was giving the justice that was deserved, right up to the very end. Daenerys decides not to kill the Son of the Harpy until he has a fair trial.

Tyrion rides in the carriage with Varys. He's still drinking the day away, but points out that there is nothing else for him to do in the box. He agreed to come, but not to stop drinking. He wants to walk, but he can't Cersei has offered a lordship for his head. Varys is done talking about the futility of everything. They're headed to Volatis, then onto Mereen. There they will find a ruler. Varys points that Tyrion was a great ruler when he was hand. He got a lot of people killed, but he excelled in many ways. Shae tried to get him to leave King's Landing, begged him to, but he wouldn't. Varys lays out some horrible truths, they hate the grind, but they live for it as well. Tyrion has a walk back on his mind, thinking that Cersei wouldn't actually kill every dwarf in the world.

Some soldiers bring Cersei the head of a dwarf, but its not Tyrion. She would obviously kill every dwarf in the world to rid herself of Tyrion. She heads to her council chambers. It's full of sycophants. She's sitting in the throne for the time being all vying for the role of hand of the king. She appoints them all with new titles. Kevan she bestows as the title of master of war. He wants to hear it from the King himself, but the King is busy with his studies. He returned to pay his respects, but not to become one of Cersei's puppets. He sees the council for what it is, and he is less than happy that she has sent Jamie away. She tells him that he is on diplomatic mission, and that its none of his business. He doesn't recognize her authority. She is the Queen Mother and nothing more. If the King wants to send for him, he will be waiting at Casterly rock.

Shireen teaches Gilly to read, while Sam does some reading of his own. Gilly appreciates Shireen's skill in teaching. Shireen was taught to read at a young age, being kept inside, because of her condition. She asks Shireen how they cured her condition. Shireen doesn't remember, she was young. Gilly had two sisters who had it and they weren't so fortunate. Her father kept them away from everyone else, no one was allowed near them, and in the end they were covered in the scales, and animal like. They were left in the woods, and became white walkers. Shireen's mother sends Gilly and Sam away. She tells Shireen to stay away from Gilly, she's a wildling. Her father just executed their king, and Gilly may strike out at her. Shireen doesn't think Gilly would do that, but her mother isn't so sure.

Stannis is not pleased with Jon Snow. He ordered Mance to be burned, and Jon showed him mercy. The King's word is law. If you show too much kindness people won't fear or follow you. Jon tells him that the free folk won't follow him no matter what he does. He's the man that burned their King alive. They won't follow Jon either, only one of their own. Stannis asks if he knows the Lord Commander's niece. She was asked to commit her house, but she will only do so to a Stark. Jon is slightly amused. Northerners are like the free folk, loyal to their own. The new Lord Commander will be elected, and it won't be a pleasant turnover for Jon. The man think he's a traitor, and Jon's bravery made him look weak. Stannis does not punish men for their bravery. Jon has given everything he has to the Night's Watch, he doesn't have anything left to give Stannis. Stannis wants the North. Kneel before him, and he will rise as Jon Stark, Lord of Winterfell.

Jon confesses to Sam that becoming legitimate was everything he ever wanted. He dreamt of it, and now he will refuse it. He made a pledge to the Night's Watch and he will keep it. The proceeding for Lord Commander begins. The maester asks if there is anything else that anyone wishes to add before the vote is made. A man stands for Thorne, calling him the only true choice, his exploits exaggerated Alleister gets his nomination next. The Maester begins the process, but Sam stops him. He has a nomination, though Jon shakes his head no. Sam is teased about his Wilding love, but he points out that his teaser cowered with Gilly in the lader during the war. He found him there after the battle was over in a puddle of his own making. While Jannis was hiding, Jon Snow was leading. Alleister fought bravely, but when he was wounded, it was Jon who took charge of the wall's defense. After he went to deal with Mance, even if it meant his death. Before then, Jon lead the mission to avenge Lord Commander Mormont. Mormont, himself, chose Jon as his stewart. He may be young, but he is the commander that they turn to when the night is darkest. There is cheering all around. Thorne rises. He cannot deny what has been said. But wonders who Jon wishes to command, them or the wildlings. He was among the wildlings, loved a wilding girl, and was found chatting with Mance when Stannis arrived. Who knows what would have happened had Stannis not arrived. He asks if they want to choose a man who fought the wildlings his entire lif,e or one who loves them. The time has come for the vote. The pieces are counted, and it is a tie. The Maester has not voted yet, and he casts his vote with Jon.

Arya walks through the city, and beheads a pigeon with her sword. A man stops her, surrounded by a little group, asking what she has. She suggests he turn around and go. She draws out her sword, and they think it'll draw a pretty penny. She tells them that money is no good to dead men. Before they can decide whether they want to try her, the door man from the house of Black and White watches them, scaring off the men. Arya follows him back to the house. She demands to know who he is, and why they're scared on him. He gives her back the coin that she “lost” and changes his face. Its Jaquen. He told her that there was no Jaquen there. She asks who he is then. He is no one, and that is who she must become. He holds the door open for her, and she enters the house.

The former slave fores to see the Son of the Harpy. The Son thinks that Daenery does not belong there. They call her Mhysa, but she is not their mother. The Son is killed, and his body left out wearing the harpy mask with the message “Kill the masters.”

Daenerys wants answers. The man tells her that she wanted the man dead, but her hands were tied. He did it for her, to keep her hands free. The man was waiting for his trial. Trials do not work in Meereen he believes. When Grey Worm came, he was the first to take up his knife for the cause. His father died in that fight. He the Harpy's are allowed to return them to their chains it will tarnish his memory. The law is the law. She orders him to be taken away. Daenerys walks to announce her verdict before her people. They all shout Mhysa at her. The nobleman thinks that she should have cut his head off in the great hall and been done with it. The Slave is marched out as she addresses the people. They recognize him as a brother, beg for mercy as she reads off the crime. Daario steps forward, and again he calls to Mhysa for mercy. They all beg for mercy, but Daenerys does not give it. The crowd is silent for a second, before a hissing begins. The former slaves throw a rock at the nobles, and its a riot. Daenerys rushes out, under the cover of her unsully.

Barristan offers to stand guard outside of her door. Grey Worm will have them all stand guard. Daenerys just wants to be left alone. She hears a noise outside of her window, and goes to see what it is. It's Drogon, her largest child. She's happy to see him. He looks down on her, and comes near. As she reaches out to him, he leans in, but doesn't let her touch him before flying away from her, far away over the city.

 It’s the finale already, and I’m just not sure anyone is ready for this. There is so much aftermath to be dealt with still, Tyrion and the battle at the wall are certainly on top! Let’s begin with the last look at that awesome map. It'll be a bit different the next time we see it, with more of the south added.

Jon Snow marches out beyond the wall. Jon allows the wildlings to surround him, raising his hands in surrender as he goes to speak with Mance. They notice he’s wearing a black cloak again, and in his best batman voice he tells Mance that he’s come to negotiate with them. It’s a disappointment that he’s a crow once more, Mance tells him. He was always loyal to the night’s watch, Jon explains, he did what half-hand told him too. Mance asks about Ygritte, if he was enough to turn her, he wasn’t. Jon tells Mance that she put three arrows into him when he left, and she died. They drink to her. Mance is impressed with the crow’s efforts, they speak of their fallen, Mance’s Giant, and Jon’s friend Grenn, and drink to them. Jon tells Mance to go back, to stop this war. Mance knows that Jon doesn’t have nearly as many men as he’s boasting to have. Mance is completely honest with Jon. They aren’t there to conquerer, but to hide behind it. Winter is coming. Mance offers him his own bargain. Jon can return and open the gates, and there will be no bloodshed, or Mance can come and kill every last one of them. Mance figures out that Jon came to kill Mance. He wonders if Jon is capable of the deed after he just offered Jon peace. A horn is sounded, it isn’t the crows though, they don’t have enough men. A large force heads towards the wildlings, they come from both sides, and slaughter the group. Mance can only watch in shock as his men fall around him. He orders them to stand down, his people have bled enough. Leading the group is Stannis Baratheon. Well, surprise, surprise, he finally shows up. Mance throws his weapons to the ground before Stannis, and Stannis makes his introduction. Stannis wishes Mance to kneel, but wildlings do not kneel. Mance and his men are taken away. Davos asks what the Night’s Watch is doing in a Wildling camp, and Jon tells him he came to discuss terms with the King Beyond the Wall. Davos reminds Jon that he is speaking to the one true king. Jon addresses Stannis, and introduces himself properly. Stannis knows that his father Ned was an honorable man, and asks what he should do with Mance. Mance took Jon prisoner once, and he treated him well, he suggests that he take Mance prisoner, and listen to what he has to say. Stannis agrees with Jon. Jon has one further suggestion, to burn the dead, all of them.

The Maester looks over the Mountain’s wounds, he’s been poisoned by the Viper’s blade. He’s been poisoned by the venom of the Manticor, they don’t know a whole lot about the venom. The Maester thinks that the Mountain is too far gone, but his assistant has other thoughts. He isn’t a Maester, grand or otherwise. Cersei dismisses the Grand Maester, and allows his assistant to do what he can to save the Mountain. He warns that the process may change him. It will not weaken him, so Cersei is on board.

Cersei goes to see her father about her betrothal. She does not wish to marry Loras, but he is adamant that she will. Her role in the future of the Lannister’s is pivotal, now more than ever. Jaime cannot inherit land, Tyrion is about to die, so Cersei is all they have left. Cersei doesn’t want to listen to anymore of Tywin’s tales of times he’s won. When he came to the rescue them at the Battle of Blackwater, she was about to kill Tommen, to ensure he didn’t suffer a worse fate. She is willing to go the distance for her family, but she will not let outside forces tear them down. She knows that Marery will do just that, that she and Tywin will tear apart Tommen for control. She warns Tywin, that if she is forced to, she will out her own secret, that her children are products of incest. Her father never believed the rumors, he was too consumed by the idea of them without actually seeing them. Tywin claims to not believe, but Cersei knows that he does as she smugly walks away.

Cersei goes to see her next victim. She goes to see Jaime. He asks if she’s happy about her latest victory, telling her that she doesn’t get to chose her family. Cersei thinks that she does. She still hold a grudge towards Tyrion, blaming him for his birth, and their mother’s subsequent death, so she is very happy with the outcome. But she’s come to tell Jaime that she chooses him. Jaime cannot believe his ears. She kisses him and tells him that she told their father. She doesn’t want to speak of Tywin anymore. She knows that people will talk, but she no longer cares, and Jaime takes her on the table.

Daenerys has quite the impressive number of titles now as she is announced to Fennesz, a former slave and tutor. He taught the children of his master many things of history, including her own. He tells her that when she took the city, the children begged him not to leave, but he and his master thought it best if he did. Since then he has been homeless. The Khalessi has provided barracks and mess halls for those freed, but it is not for him. The young pray on the old. Dany vows for the unsully to make them safe, but that is not what he wants. Even if they are safe, then he still has no place, he wishes to be sold back to his master. Dany cannot understand how he would want to be owned by a goat. Fennesz thinks her rule is good for the young, but for the old, it is too much change. She did not take the city to force them into anything more than freedom. She tells him he is allowed to sign a contract, for no more than a year. Fennesz thanks her. Barristan tells her that the masters will take advantage of this, they will use her mercy to enslave the people once more. Another man approaches with a bundle in his arms, she allows him to approach. He does not understand her words, Missandei translates for him. He tells his queen that the black one came from the sky. He opens up the bundle, it is the charred bones of his three year old daughter. Drogon has not been spotted since. She tells Grey Worm to meet her in the catacombs. Dany brings her two other dragons below to the catacombs. Like obedient children they head below, and they find the meat that has been planted for them, but they do not see the danger as they eat. Chains have been prepared for them. As they feast, Dany chains her children. With the collars in place she walks away, and only then do they see what has happened. They see their mother leave them, and they squall like toddlers. Dany closes them inside. That has to be the biggest mistake yet.

Maester Aemon survived the battle on the wall. He says a few words over the fallen brothers. Their watch has ended. He prepares the funeral pyres. Jon is among those watching, as well as Stannis and his men. All of the bodies are burned. Melisandre looks at Jon through the fires. Tormund asks why their blind man patched him up.  Jon tells him that it is the Maester’s job to patch up all men, friend or foe. Tormund wonders what his fate will be, presumably torture before death. He will not be tortured, but Jon does not know what will be done in truth. Tormund asks if he is king, but Jon says that they have no king on the wall. He has been a wildling too long Tormund muses, he will not be a kneeler again. Jon tells him that they will burn their dead, and asks if they have any words, but the dead cannot hear, so they have no words. Tormund asks if Jon loved Ygritte, because she loved him. She never spoke the words, only those of wanting to kill him, and that said it more than anything else. He tells him that she belongs in the North, the real North. Jon understands him. He takes Ygritte’s body out in the woods, and builds a proper burial pyre for her, and he lets her go.

Hodor, Jojen, Meera, and Bran press ahead through the snow. Meera asks if he would like to rest, scared that they aren’t going to make it, but they already have. On the top of the next hill lies a great Godwood. The sun shines beautifully upon it. The small group is nearly there, when something grabs Jojen from beneath the snow. Meera makes a leap towards him, trying desperately to save him from the skeletal hands that hold him. Hodor panicks, and Bran tells him to help them. Meera manages to free Jojen, but the skeletons rise all around them. Meera fights them off, one crawls up Bran’s body, but Summer takes care of it. Hodor is overwhelmed, and Bran finally wargs and takes him over. Hodor throws off his two, and helps Meera with the rest. Jojen calls out to Bran to save himself, as more of the skeletons rise from behind him. Meera and Hodor destroy all save for one, which viciously stabs Jojen in the gut repeatedly. The pair of skeletons coming towards Bran are blasted by some sort of lightening balls. And a girlish figure calls to Bran and the others to come with her, or perish along with Jojen. Meera hesitates, but Jojen tells her to leave him. She slits his throat mercifully as more of the skeletons rise. Hodor grabs Bran and they follow the being to safety. Jojen’s body is blasted, as they run to the safety of the cave beneath the tree. Only a little further and they would have all lived, The skeletons cannot follow. The beings were called the Children by the first men, but they are much older than that, and she beckons them to follow her. “He” awaits them. Hodor is hesitant, he lies Bran down upon the floor before a large throne. Bran crawls his way forward. It is the three eyed raven, but now it is a man. Jojen knew what would happen if he brought them here, he knew from the start and still he brought them. Bran has come to him at last, though the hour is late. Jojen died so Bran could find what he had lost. He will never walk again, but he will fly.

Brienne and Podrick wake to find their horses gone. Podrick thinks it may have been thieves. Brienne is not pleased at all, its still thirty miles to the Eyrie. She crests a hill and spots Arya practicing with Needle. She warns the Hound that his business can wait, that there are people coming. Brienne asks if they are close to the gate, and it’s only ten more miles. Arya asks if she’s a knight, she is not, but she knows how to use the sword. Ayra asks for the swords name. She asks who taught her to fight. Her father did, and although he didn’t want to teach her to fight either, Brienne kept fighting the boys and losing, so he finally taught her. Brienne greets the Hound. Podrick recognizes him instantly, and once she hears his name, she recognizes Arya. She tells Arya that she swore to her mother that she would bring her home. Arya asks her why she didn’t save her mother. She was tasked with taking Jaime back to Kings Landing. The Hound thinks that Brienne has come for the bounty on his head. She hasn’t, but she’s still carries Lannister gold. Brienne tells them the sword came from Jaime, which does nothing to quell the Hound’s fears. Brienne speaks of her vows, but Arya doesn’t care about her vows. The Hound makes it clear that Arya is not coming with her. Brienne tries to appeal to her again. The Hound tells her that there is no safety, and if she doesn’t know that by now then she’s the wrong one to watch over her. Brienne doesn’t believe that’s what he’s doing, but that’s exactly what he’s been doing. Brienne draws her sword on the Hound, and the two engage in quite the fight. Brienne brings the Hound to his knees, but she doesn’t want to kill him. The Hound is no knight, so he fights a little dirty. He grabs her sword, and butts it against her, bringing her down. She fights back like a girl, hitting him between the legs. The two begin brawling, its awful and vicious. Brienne manages to throw the Hound down the hill. She calls for Arya, but she cannot find her. Arya has disappeared, she slipped away as Podrick watched Brienne. Arya looks below where the Hound has fallen. She climbs down to him. He’s bloody and broken. He tells her that the big bitch saved her, but she tells him that she doesn’t need saving. The Hound knows that he is finally done. He cannot believe that he will be killed by a woman. He tells Arya to go on, to find Brienne, that she’ll help her. He doesn’t think Arya will last a day without her. Arya tells him that she’ll last longer than him. He’s ready to die, he tells her to do as she’s promised him that she would to take his name off her list, to kill him. He taunts her that he killed the butcher’s boy, how he begged for mercy, how he bled all over his horse. The Hound tells her about Sansa, how he should have taken her pretty sister and raped her, then he’d have atleast one happy memory. Still Arya does not move. The Hound asks if he has to beg her, asking her to do it. He quivers, begging her to kill him. Arya finally rises, and comes to him. She takes his gold, but not his life. She leaves him there, as he shouts for her to kill him. That has to be the saddest thing ever, and I will miss Rory McCann, he was an excellent Hound.

Tyrion awaits for his own death in his cell. It’s only a matter of time, and he wishes they would hurry up with it. Jaime arrives to spring Tyrion from his cell. Tyrion asks who’s helping him. Varys is, he has more friends than he thought. Jaime tells him to go to the locked door and knock twice and Varys will open it, and get him to safety. Tyrion and Jaime embrace for the last time, and say goodbye. Tyrion thanks him for his life, as he heads away. All Tyrion has to do is go up the stairs, to safety, instead he goes through a trap door and heads to the Hand’s tower. He finds Shae in his father’s bed. The heartbreak is all over Tyrion’s face. Shae grabs a knife from the table nearby, and Tyrion springs on her. He gets the knife away from her and as she slaps at him and tries to hurt him he strangles the life out of her with her own necklace. She really was just a whore, and he loved her. This betrayal cuts deeper than that of his sister’s. Tyrion removes the crossbow from the wall, and pays his father a little visit on the crapper. He asked who released him, but he already knows that it was Jaime. He wishes to speak in his chambers. Although he’s always wished Tyrion’s death, he has always fought for life, and Tywin claims to actually respect that. He tells Tyrion that he would never have let them take his head, he’s a Lannister after all. Tyrion asks about Shae, tells him that he killed her with his own hands. Tywin tells him that it doesn’t matter, that she was a whore. Tyrion raises the bow once more, and still Tywin doesn’t think he’ll kill his father in the privy. Tyrion damns his soul, knowing that Tywin knew that he didn’t poison Joffery. He wants to know why he sentenced him all the same. Tywin wants to go down and talk in his chambers, but Tyrion can’t go back there, Shae’s body is there. Tywin makes the mistake of calling her a whore again, and Tyrion shoots him in the chest. Tywin cannot believe that his son actually did it, as Tyrion loads another bolt. Tywin denounces him, but Tyrion has always been his son. He shoots him one last time, and walks to Varys room. Varys asks what he’s done. He loads Tyrion into a box, one like his former master was kept in, and asks for Tyrion to trust him. The crate is loaded onto a ship, and Varys takes a final look at King’s Landing, before heading aboard the ship himself.  Varys will ride with his crate to distant shores.

Arya rides upon her horse alone. It’s all very Neverending Story Atreyu. She rushes towards a ship being loaded, and speaks to the captain. She wishes to go North to the wall. He tells her that she doesn’t want to go there, there is nothing there. She tells him that she can pay, and she’s willing to work as well. He isn’t going North though, the ship is headed home to Braavos, and he doesn’t want her money. She has something else, the coin from Jaqen H’ghar she speaks the words “Valar Morghulis.” He gives her a cabin, and they set sail. Arya is finally headed to Braavos, and with that we end our season.

Stannis and Davos leave by boat, heading to their last chance. They’ve been their since mid-day. They are finally welcomed to the Iron Bank. Stannis is welcomed, and Davos says that he is the King of Westeros, but he is not the one that sits on the throne. The Iron Bank has been the one that has been funding the Lannisters, but Stannis thinks that as his bloodline is the rightful one, his should be the one being backed by the bank. But, Stannis has few backers, and even fewer supplies. Although he may have a legitimate claim, in theory, it is not a gamble the bank is willing to back. The banker bids them good day, and even warns that Braavos is not a safe place for Davos. Davos isn’t ready to walk away. Tywin is the power in King’s Landing, and he is too old to remain in power for long. Stannis is the one true king, and when the Lannisters fall, and they will soon fall, he is the best bet for the bank to get paid in full.

Salladhor Saan tells his whores a story about Pirate ships, keeping them entertained, but they already know the punchline. Davos drops in on his old friend, telling him of a change of plans. Salladhor puts up a tiny fuss, until Davos lays more money down than he can really turn away.

Yara reads over the letter that the Bolton bastard, Ramsey Snow sent to the Ironborn. Their countrymen were skinned and mutilated for his enjoyment, and he did enjoy it. While Ramsey entertains himself with a whore, Yara prepares for war. The Ironborn slip into the keep, prepared to take back Theon, but he is not in the dungeons. One of the men take Yara to where Theon is being kept, but he is a broken man. He is now Reek, and he refuses to go, too afraid to go, fearing that it is a trick. He fights against Yara, and it gives Ramsey time to catch up with the Ironborn. Many men on both sides are lost, and Yara is forced to leave Theon behind to save herself. Ramsey rewards Reek’s loyalty. Reek didn’t want to be taken, Ramsey offers him a bath. Reek hesitates, but Ramsey coaxes him in. He baths him genrly, asking Reek if he loves him, and of course he does. Ramsey gives him an important job, he wants him to help him take a castle from some bad men. He’ll play someone he’s not, Theon Greyjoy.

A Sheppard tends his goats, while a boy throws rocks. The goats sense a disturbance, and the boy panics before he sees a dragon, blasting the hillside, and snatching up a goat.  The goatherder comes before Daenerys with the remains of a goat. Her dragons came for his goats, and now he has nothing. She is sorry for his loss, and she will pay for the goats three times over. The man is pleased by her offer. She hears the next person, a man who has come on behalf of Hizdaht ze Loraq, but she’ll speak to the noble directly. Loraq starts with flattery, and tells her of his pedigree. He is upset over the crucifying of his father, but she points out that he crucified others. Two wrongs do not make a right. He wishes for a tradition to be upheld, wants the proper burial of the nobles. Dany points out that they did the same to the slave children, without a second thought. Loraq wishes for his father to have some measure of dignity in the next world, and Dany grants him permission to bury his father. Dany’s list of visitors remains long, and she sends the next one in.

Lord Oberon does not like the early meeting hour, and wonders what title he will get, but the meeting soon starts. The Hound has been cutting quite path in the countryside. Tywin puts up a reward for his death, throwing plenty of gold for someone to be foolish enough to take him on. Varys gives an updated report on Daenerys. Not only does she have a large unsullied army at her back, and quick growing dragons, she’s not sitting on the throne of Mereen. Cersei doesn’t think that she’s a threat yet, and Varys points out that she has two seasoned knight advisors,  Barristan Selmy and Jorah Mormont, with her in to the other things that he mentioned. Oberon tells them that the Unsullied are very impressive on the battlefield. And Tywin fears the dragons. She must be dealt with.

The Iron Throne sits empty. Oberon finds Varys before it. Varys asks him how he came to know so much of the Unsullied. Oberon didn’t want to be the average prince, so he traveled, and learned much. Oberon asks Lord Varys backstory, but he isn’t loose lipped. Oberon offers up the joys of the brothel, but he’s an eunuch. Even before he became one he wasn’t interest in boys or girls, never falling prey to either folly.

Jamie pays Tyrion a visit. Tyrion suspects that he’s been pardoned, hopes for it, but he hasn’t. Jamie brings him forth on their father’s orders. Tyrion is taken to the Iron Throne, in shackles. Before the city and the Iron throne his shackles are removed. Tommen makes a big show as he announces Tywin to take his stead, and announces the other judges. Tywin reads the charges, proceeding to ask Tyrion if he or Sansa killed Joffery. He says that he did not. He asks how Joffery died. Tyrion believes it could be anyone but him. The crown calls its witnesses. One recalls the riot, when Joffery was slapped by Tyrion, but fails to mention the fact that at the time he was slapped Joffery was holding a crossbow on Sansa as he ripped at her clothing. Grand Maester Pycell is up next, listing out all of his vast numbers of poisons, one he claims Tyrion stole while he was wrongfully imprisoned. He makes further claims that the Strangler poison was found in Sansa’s necklace, one that was found with Dontos’ body and Dontos’ was seen fleeing with Sansa after the wedding. Cersei recounts Tyrion’s words to her again about the ashes in her mouth before the battle. Oberon asks about this debt. Cersei had asked him to keep the whoring in the brothel, and he was not pleased, very one sided testimony. Varys even gives testimony against Tyrion that paints a very bad picture of him. Tyrion asks for a single question, one reminding Lord Varys of his own words. Varys does not forget anything, he knows Tyrion well, but he will not stick his neck out. Tywin calls a recess.

Jamie speaks with his father on Tyrion’s behalf. Tywin has always hated his son, and Jamie reminds him that he actually killed his king to save his father, never thinking he would kill his own son. Tywin will punish Tyrion accordingly if he is guilty. Jamie changes tactics. Family is of the utmost important thing to Tywin. Since Jamie is King’s Guard he cannot have a family, and without Tyrion providing heirs the Lannister name only carries on with cousins none of them really care about. Tywin cannot let his grandson’s killer off that easily. Jamie goes for bust. He will leave the King’s Guard, he will provide heirs if Tyrion is allowed to live. Tywin tells him that once Tyrion’s verdict is given he will be allowed to ask for mercy. Tywin will allow him to join the Night’s Watch. Jamie will remove his white cloak, and take up his place at Casterly Rock, marry a suitable woman, father Lannister children, and never turn his back on family again. The deal is made. Cersei is going to be pissed.

Jamie warns Tyrion that he is going to be found guilty, which he already knew. He tells him that when he is, he needs to enter a formal plea of mercy, and one that their father has already agreed to. Tyrion doesn’t trust it though. Ned Stark was offered the same deal, and we all remember how that turned out. Cersei watches suspiciously. Tyrion isn’t sure, but Jamie asks for trust, and no further outbursts. The crown calls its next witness, Shae. Tyrion is shocked to see her there. Tywin asks if she knows Tyrion, she does she was Sansa’s handmaiden. She tells the court that he is guilty, that he and Sansa plotted the murder together. Sansa wanted revenge, and Tyrion was happy to go along with it because of his hatred for his family. Shae continues to lie, saying that she was Tyrion’s whore after he stole her from another knight. Her tale amuses Prince Oberon, as she does into detail about the things that Tyrion told her to do. Tyrion is disappointed in her, and he tries to stop her, but she’s hurt still about his whore comment. She goes on that after he married Sansa he set her aside for his wife, who refused him. Tyrion cannot take anymore, and asks to confess. Everyone is shocked over his admission. He saved the city, everyone in it. He should have let Stannis kill them all he says. Tywin asks again if he wishes to confess. He says that he is guilty, that’s what they want to hear. He did not kill the king, but he is guilty for being a dwarf. That is not one the charge he is on trial for. Tyrion is on trial for that and more. He admits that he wished he had killed Joffery. Watching that vicious bastard die gave him more relief than a 1000 lying whores, he wished he was the monster they were painting him out to be. He wishes that he had enough poison to kill them all.  He will not give his life for nothing, he demands trial by combat.

War is finally upon us. Stannis’ fleet sails to King’s Landing, but it’s a rough journey. The tide is against them, though the wind is with them. Davos seems less than enthusiastic about this war, though his son has full faith. Davos tells him that the walls have never been breached, but his son doesn’t sway in his faith.

Tyrion spends his final hours before the war in bed with Shae. She fiercely vows to protect him, but he doesn’t wish her to. He’s stuck in this war no matter the outcome, but Shae will not be persuaded. She makes tender love to him, like it’s their last day.

The Maester speaks with Cersei, but she hurries him to his point. He gives her some Nightshade, a calming potion, that can easily turn deadly. She takes it from him, and sends him away.

The men of King’s Landing feast. Bronn indulges in song and whores. The Hound enters, and he’s just as chipper as usual. The Hound seems more merry than normal. He tells Bronn that “killing is the thing you love, just like me, only smaller.” And just as things are about to turn bad between the men, the bells of war sound.

Tyrion gets into his armor, and Varys questions his trust in the boy who is assisting before he shows him a detailed map. Varys gives him news on Stannis and his taking up with the Red Priestess. Varys has seen too much, and he believes what Tyrion does not. He thinks that Stannis taking the throne would be the worse thing possible, and that the only person that can stop him is Tyrion.

With their imminent arrival known, Stannis’ men begin to drum,  and speed up their arrival.

Tyrion and Bronn discuss their friendship, and he spots Sansa and Shae. Sansa hasn’t gone to safety yet because Joffery has asked for Sansa to see him off. Joffery shows Sansa his new sword hearteater. They spar with words, and Sansa’s distaste for him is ever at the surface. Shae tells her that many of the men will not come back, but Sansa knows that the worse always survive.

Joffery tries to flex his power stupidly, as if he flexes it any other way, and Tyrion again put the boy in his place.

Cersei gathers with the other women. Sansa wonders why Cersei wishes her there, if she hates her. Shae tells Sansa that she’s likely jealous, when Cersei calls to her. Cersei offers her a glass of wine, but Sansa tries to refuse it.  Cersei gets news of the first betrayal, and Cersei gives swift orders to have their heads mounted to instill fear upon the common folk.

Stannis’ archers get in place. Tyrion’s men hold fast, and Joffery wonders where the rest of his ships are. Stannis’ nmen wonder the same. The ship looks to be empty. The Alchemist passes a flame to Tyrion, and Davos sees the wildfire. A single archer shoots his arrow, and ignites the wildfire. Boom, the fleet is ingulfed him flame, and everything is a light all bewitching green. The men at King’s Landing watch the sailors burn in shock, only the Alchemist smiles at the destruction. Stannis orders his remaining ships forward intent on winning.

Cersei calls Sansa over again. She’s quite peckish. She asks her what she’s doing. Sansa tells her that she is praying, praying that everyone will be okay. Cersei calls her foolish and stupid, and tries again to make her drink wine. She forces the girl to drink. She tells Sansa that she wishes she were borne a man, the waiting does not sit well on her. She tells her that women have more weapons that just tears, and that if the city falls the men will ravage them.

Joffery nearly wets himself seeing that the remaining men are still coming. His craven colors are showing, but Tyrion, gives his commands, and plans to slaughter all who approach. The men of King’s Landing rain arrows upon Stannis’ men, and still they come. The Hound leads his men out for some hand to hand. Lancel takes an arrow to the chest.

Cersei talks about her childhood, how she and Jaime looked so much alike as children, she could not understand why she was treated differently. Jaime got to become a knight, and she was sold off to Robert. Sansa tells her that she was a Queen, but sold she was all the same Cersei says. Cersei spots Shae and begins to grill her when Lancel comes in with news. Cersei tells him to bring Joffery back. Finally she reveal why her bodyguard is really there to Sansa, “Stannis may take the city, he may take the throne but he will not take us alive.”

The fighting intensifies around the Hound. And as he stares into the flames, he’s forced to fall back into the keep. Tyrion wishes for the Hound to go back out, but the Hound refuses, he’s lost half his men. Joffery throws a little tantrum, and Tyrion points out that they will lose the city if he does not fight. But the Hound has a very Fuck everything attitude.

Stannis’s men begin to ram the gate. Lancel comes to collect Joffery, and Tyrion bids him to stay. If he will not fight for his kingdom, why should his men. But Joffery is a craven to his core, and he sends his men out to die in his place as he runs to his mother. Tyrion sees what he must do, he will lead the attack against Stannis. His men begin to draw away, but Tyrion is ready for a plan. He tells them quite a pep talk. There is no reason to fight for kings, kingdoms or riches, only what is already theirs. The men rally, and follow Tyrion. Lancel gives bad news, and Lancel wishes to escort Joffery back to the castle. Cersei strikes him, and the women go into a panic. Sansa immediately calms the women, and Shae hurries her away, telling her that Stannis will not hurt her.

Sansa finds the doll that her father once gave her, and the Hound lurking in the dark. He tells her that he is going some place that isn’t burning, and offers to keep her safe and return her home. She tells him that she’ll be safe here, that Stannis won’t hurt her. The Hound tries to talk sense into her, and tells her that she’s surrounded by killers. She knows he will not hurt her, and he agrees, leaving her.

Tyrion and his men take the field, and annihilate the enemy, or so they think, until the second string come charging in. Tyrion is injured in the battle.

Cersei tells Tommen a story on the Iron Throne, a tale of good lions and evil stags and wolves. The battle rages on outside. As her story goes on, she toys with the Nightshade, giving it to him. But before Tommen can drink it, a slew of men arrive. Tyrion lays upon the battlefield. Tywinn has arrived, and she drops the Nightshade. The battle is over, they have won.
