Galavant S01E06 Recap: Dungeons and Dragon Lady

Madalena asks if he missed her. She crossed him mind a few times, he's been through quite a lot to get to her. Galavant asks if she really wanted him to rescue her. She only found out about him coming to the castle a short time before, and she's not really interested in leaving the plush life she has. Madalena proves that she's been quite materialistic. She has a plan to remain queen and keep Galavant as her boy toy. Galavant breaks out in song, how he loves her. Madalena loves him as much some like her can. She doesn't really love him, but what he can do for her.

Richard cannot believe that Madalena almost tricked him into killing his favorite chef, and save her old boyfriend. Gareth thinks that he needs to man up. He heads out to check on his Queen, as Richard contemplates his betrayal. Chef suggests they see Xanax, the new magician.

Madalena takes Galavant back to the dungeon. Isabella is so glad to see that Galavant alive, even though she betrayed him, he points out. Isabella wants her parents. released now, but Madalena isn't Richard and she made no such deals. In fact, she plans to torture Isabella for trying to steal her left overs. Madalena orders Gareth to rearrange Isabella's face, and torture everyone else. Gareth isn't sure about taking orders from her, but Madalena points out that the king is weak, and Gareth needs a strong master.

Chef take Richard over to see Xanax (Ricky Gervais). He can't call himself a magician anymore, but he's still full of plenty of spells, and probably more than a few drugs. Xanax puts together a special brew to make Richard a whole new man.

Sid thinks that they need an escape plan. Galavant is still pondering what Madalena's song is really about. Isabella tells him that he deserves someone better, someone that lifts him up not tears him down. Galavant doesn't get what she's saying at all. Gareth wants everyone to just shut up. He's been through a lot too. He's loyal to the King his whole life, but he admires the strength of the Queen.

Xanax has his guests get comfy as they get ready to go on their wild trip.  The king sees a door, and Xanax sends them through it. It's the day his father died. It's not Richard near the throne, but his older brother Kingsley. He doesn't want to be king. He believes his destiny lies beyond  the castle walls, full of death, destruction, and bastard children. Dicky gets the kingdom,  under mockery, and Gareth gets appointed to the king's side. Even more embarrassing Kingsley decides to take the sword with him. Richard figures out that because of that moment, he's always acted like he's the second choice in everything. He plans to take back his kingdom, and his wife. Richard and Chef come out of their trip, but its not safe to ride yet, so the trio head back to check out Richard's sweet childhood room.

Isabella apologizes to Galavant again, knowing that her betrayal was worse than Madalena since at least Madalena had the guts to do it to his face. She begins to babble, and Galavant knows that she must feel really bad, because she does that when she feels bad. Galavant tells her not to feel bad, she did what she had to because of her parents. Love is strange, smug, bossy, gassy and smelly. Basically they really love each other, and they're starting to realize it. Love is nothing like the fairytales of childhood. Galavant sees that he's been blind. Madalena never loved him. Their stars are finally aligning when she's gonna die, but Galavant plans to save her and the day. More so he can't believe that the cells have been unlocked the whole time, and no one bothered to check.

Madalena asks about the status of the torture of her guests. Gareth tells her that he won't do her bidding, he may be a dog, but he's a loyal one. Richard is glad to hear that. He's got a serious case of the munchies, and puts chef to work. He tells Gareth to lock up Madalena. Things are over between the pair, but Madalena isn't ready to go yet, they have company. Kingsley (Rugter Hauer) has returned and he wants everything Richard has. He's probably totally jealous of the amazing beard that Richard has.

True Blood Recap: At Last

Sookie and Ben tend to Jason. Sookie wishes she had some vamp blood now as Ben barely finds a pulse. She calls 911 from another room, but Ben isn't what he seems as he drops fang and bites his wrist and feeds Jason. Ben, Ben, Ben I knew you were bad, but oh geez. I'm even more excited for you now!

Cue the into music.

Nora tries to get away from Niall but Niall uses his microwave fingers to catch her. He asks her what she knows about Warlow, and she asks if he knows about Lillith before she spills the beans on Warlow and Lillith, and how the vampire bible got it all wrong. Warlow is the only one that can kill Lillith. She gets a little hungry because he smells delicious, and he blasts her away. The governor's swat guys pick her up as Niall watches.

Sookie comes in and Jason is back up like nothing happened. Niall is less than pleased Ben left him, telling him that human Jason isn't a protection priority, but rather the part fae Sookie and Ben leaves.

The pack is back human and looking for Nicole. Rikki is barking orders when Martha says she smelled Sam and tells everyone that Emma is gone. Alcide orders everyone to find them both.

Lafayette finds Sam, Emma and Nicole drives away, like the devil is chasing them. Which an angry pack of werewolves is pretty close.

Ginger continues to stall as the Governor's SWAT team comes in. Willa is long gone, and the governor is less than happy, taking the very human Ginger to the camp.

Pam summons Tara, but she doesn't have the girl. Eric takes matters and Tara's throat in hand. Tara tells him where Willa is, and Pam tries to stick up for her progeny, but it falls on deaf ears, as he tells her to meet him back a day later.

The fairy preteens are reading Terry's mind and driving him bonkers as they tease him about killing Patrick. Arlene scolds them and they leave Terry alone. Andy comes and ushers them off to bed, as Arlene tries to comfort him. The fairy girls haven't slept a whole lot, and it may because of the growth spurts they've been having. Full on teenagers, they sneak out and Jessica and Bill are scooping out the Bellefleur house. They steal Andy's cruisers and go for a little joyride.Jason is feeling a whole lot better and we're rewarded with some delcious sweaty pull-ups.

Sookie after checking on Jason goes downstairs and finds some blood near where Jason was laying earlier. She takes a closer look at the blood, like Niall showed her, and sees the same weirdness as the blood Nialll found at the fairy club. Could Ben be Warlow? All signs point to yes! I was not expecting for Warlow to be so sexy.

Andy's girls stop off at a gas station, and Bill and Jessica are following. Bill goes to grab the girls but Jessica asks him to let her do it. They're the same age she was when Bill turned her, and she fears Lillith may take over. The girls try to buy beer, but the attendant doesn't believe their age. Jessica glamours him, and talks her way into their confidence even though the girls initially balk over her weird smell.

Jason shaves in the mirror, and Ben helps him. He asks Jason if want to do it to him, next. As Jason hesitates, Ben tells him to do it like he's doing himself. The innuendos are hot, but the guys are hotter as Jason shaves him in turn in one of the sexiest shaving scenes, which only gets hotter when Jason cuts him and goes in to lick away the blood. Unfortunately he wakes up, surprised over his reaction.

Bill uses a "vampire device" on one of the fairy girls to collect her blood. She thinks of it as foreplay, and although Bill plays it up to keep down her suspicions, its all to get the blood synthesized. Prof Takahashi has all the equipment he needs from his Tru Blood labs. Bill lets him know of the importance of this blood and that failure is not an option.

Eric finds Willa on the carousel, a little surprised she didn't run off unattended. She stayed to talk to Eric. She tells him that she's on his side, disgusted with what her father is doing. She asks Eric why he wouldn't let her taste his blood, and he asks her why she wanted to. She feels she deserves to. He asks if she really wants to help, and of course she does. It looks like Pam is getting a new baby sister. He digs the hole, and she easily in. In her virginal attire, she puts on a brave face as he takes off his shirt and lays it down for her. He drops fang and tells her death is not the end before he drains her, removes her cross and gives her a taste of the blood she sought, proving once again Eric is one of the sexiest beasts on the show. Who wouldn't offer up their necks to him.

Nicole looks over the bite wound on her leg wondering why her friends aren't responding. Sam takes away her phone, and Nicole tries to stumble away. Sam warns her that the wolves are the best trackers, and sends Lafayette away, concerned for her safety. Sam shifts into a horse ready to carry away Nicole and Emma.

Sookie comes to apologize to Ben for how Niall treated him. She invites him to dinner, clearly with alternative motives. Ben gladly accepts, thinking it more a date. Sookie cutely plays coy until she walks away, she's got something up her sleeve, and it doesn't look good for Ben. Sookie calls Jason and leaves him a message asking him to get Niall and himself out of the house.

Andy also can't get ahold of Jason, and he takes his anger over his missing girls out on Kevin, Terry and Arlene. Arlene tries to talk sense into Andy, but he's so worried he can't think straight.

Niall questions Jason, and Jason is reluctant to tell him what is disturbing him.

I'm gonna pause here for a second. What is up with Niall's hair? Is it me or is it getting bigger?

Jason fumbles around about straight impulses, and Niall sees Jason's dream. He tells him that Ben is a handsome guy and Jason tells him it was like that time he drank vampire blood. Niall considers what if there was a fairy vampire, that could have both powers. Jason jumps to call Sookie, but Niall jumps one conclusion further, that Ben is Warlow and both are off to hunt the sexy Ben. Grandpa is deadset on killing him, himself. They catch Ben as he's about to take a shower, and move in to sneak up on him, knowing they only have one shot. Armed with a shotgun, Niall throws a light ball at the shower, but Ben isn't there. And it doesn't matter he's too fast, taking out Niall and  glamouring Jason, all while flashing that hot dimple, as he tells him to stay away from the house. Jason says goodbye to Niall, and leaves, with Bens promise to take the burden from him. Ben drains Niall one mouthful at a time, but doesn't swallow any of it, spitting it out in the bathtub.

Sookie unpacks her grocery bag and plans a dinner laced with Colloidal Silver.

The pack searches for Sam, and Rikki shoots off her bitch mouth again to Alcide. Alcide is forced to raise his voice at her again. Seriously, again. Please muzzle her permanently.

Sookie slowly prepares for her date, making sure she is absolutely delicious.Prof Takahashi is having trouble synthesizing the blood, besides the odd elements in the blood, there are crystals. The fairy compounds break down shortly outside of its host. Prof Takahashi cannot duplicate the specimen with its rapid breakdown. Bill offers to get more from the donors upstairs, but Prof Takahashi's morals take a stand. Bill uses his powers pinning the Prof to the ceiling, and makes it clear that failure is not an option.

Willa has her first feeding, is way too over joyed over being a vampire, as Eric pays her dinner. She wants nothing more than to hunt and fuck Eric. But Eric has other plans. He sends her home as a message. Vampires were once human, and they are not meant to be hunted. Willa is hurt over his actions, but he tells her that she is only his second child , which means a great deal, but what she can do to help them is more important. As her maker he commands her home.

Tara and Pam try to find a speak easy to feed, but Pam touches a nerve when she implies that Tara may abstain from drinking humans like she did Willa, Tara of course gets totally bent. Willa is on their side she tells Pam, but Pam reiterates its them against humans. Tara runs off, and Pam ends up getting taken down by the Governor's goons as Tara watches.

The Governor worries over his daughter. Sarah tries comfort him, to take his mind off his troubles, she has some sort of news when he there's a knock at their door, and he's informed that Willa is now a vampire, she had to be invited in. Willa is escorted before him and Sarah, but the Governor sends all his men out. He asks what they did to her. Willa tells him that she was turned, but shes still herself, that he has to stop persecuting vampires,  and shut down the camp. The Governor gives into what she's saying but Sarah tries to warn him not to trust her. He still sees her as just his little girl when Willa smells his wound and attacks, Sarah shoots her and tells him he needs to send her to Camp Truman, that he has to let her go.

Sookie laces their plates with the silver, dripping it over the chicken, the potatoes, the salad. She gives it a quick smell to make sure its undetectable.

Ben drives to the same bridge where he killed Sookie's parents. He opens his trunk, and feeds a weak Niall his blood. Niall knows for sure he's Warlow now, but is too weak to produce more than a little spark. Roughly pulling Niall from the trunk, its apparently evil villian plot reveal time. Ben's family lived beside Niall's for a long time when he was still fae, before Niall was even born. Since he was turned, the darkness has battled with the light within him. He killed his own mother and father, but couldn't kill a child. He was the one that spared Niall, and he chooses to save him again but sends him off into the void he was formally trapped in. Niall begs him not to send him, Warlow survived 20 years, surely a king can survive longer.

Sam puts down Emma, who finds sleep easily, before sharing a drink with Nicole. The screams of her friends final moments haunt her. Sam tells her that he still sees Luna, that she died in his arms. They commiserate in silence, which leads to a kiss, because we all know Sam has a soft spot for damaged girls.

Sookie gives up on Ben when he arrives late baring flowers. She teases him about being late, and he smells his dinner, which throws up her red flags. He bites in with gusto, as she watches. She fesses up about Bill, about him being a vampire, his lies, and everything that destroyed their relationship. He mislead her, he wasn't honest about who he was, as she's obviousy goading him into telling her the truth. She asks him what is it about her that he wants. He tells her that everyone wants to be understood (his british accent slipping out on the word understood) and he knew there was an instant connection the moment they met. Sookie looks like she's melting under his gaze, and I can't help but to wish he'd confess he was Warlow, so there would be no lies between them. This whole romance is doomed! The fairy girls try to leave, beyond bored, and weirded out over Bill's antics.  Jessica tries to stall them, even when they throw around their dad's job. But the girls have had enough, and Jessica is reduced to begging them to stay, afraid for her life. As the girls surround her, she is overwhelmed by their scent and bites one of them.

Andy and Jason use their best interrogation skills on the store clerk, but get nothing, not even with Jason's "dirty Harry" tactic. Jason concludes that either the guy is an idiot or a vampire glamoured him. Andy asks Jason if vampires can smell fairies, and he tells them fairies are like cat nip to vampires, how Sookie is only a tiny bit fairy and they go crazy over her. Andy freaks out, leaving Jason behind and heads off to likely the last vampire he talked to, the swarmy Bill Compton.

Bill runs into the room hearing Jessica's cries. Shes drained all of the fairies. She was so worried that Bill would kill them, never considering she could. She begs him to tell her they're not dead, but he doesn't say a word. If they're dead his sun walking dreams may have just died too.

Sookie puts on a little mood music and she and Ben get a little cozy, Ben having passed all of her tests. They get straight to the kissing, and start with the stripping, but as he gets her on her back she turns the tables on him. She tells him he can get off her, to "get the fuck off me or die, Warlow" with her microwave hand at the ready. Well if that isn't a mood killer I'm not sure what is, but that ends this week's episode.

True Blood Recap: You're No Good

Eric does a slow seduction of Wila, as he gathers info on her father. Let's face facts, glamour or no, I would be eating out of the palm of his hand. He tells her she will die, and that she will not scream. As he drops fang, she tells him she knows about the experiments, something Eric knows nothing about. As swat closes in, they disappear out her window.

Cue the intro music...

Jessica asks about Bill's premonition. He knows nothing, but that he has to save all the vampires. He tells her that she was there too, burning in the sun. He doesn't know the why, how or when only that she, Eric, Pam and Tara all burned in the sun. He vows to stop it before it can come to pass.

Sookie works on her magic light ball tricks in her room, as Jason's head pounds. Something lurks outside, and Niall says its Warlow. Jason rushes outside, and is taken out by something. Niall is forced to flash Jason and Sookie to safety. Niall is concerned about Sookie's lack of fear, but since she's in constant danger her fear factor is a bit off kilter. Niall goes looking for Warlow, and Sookie wonders why Warlow wants her so bad since her fairy percentage is so low, but it all comes back to blood. Hers is royal.

Eric takes Wila back to Fangtasia and Tara and Pam are less than pleased about it. Eric tells them to pack up anything they may value, and when Tara tries to assert some authority, Eric overrules her, and Pam obeys. Wila willingly gives Eric the information he desires. Her father has been embezzeling money to study everything about vampires, but she doesn't know anything more, like where the vampire camp is.

A vampire is drug through sterile corridors by soldiers. Poor Reverend Steve Newlin, how far he has fallen.

Pam has all their belongings reduced down to a single box. They must leave their beloved bar, Eric tells Pam that its just a building, but its more than that to both of them, even if Eric doesn't want to admit it. Eric decides to bring Wila, and again Pam begs him to kill her instead, but Eric knows that she is his only bargaining chip.

Sam awakens to Nicole and her friends helping him. Emma is gone. He asks them to leave, but they have a bunch of questions about werewolves. Lafayette suggests that they forget everything they know about werewolve. Nicole apologizes for coming on strong earlier, and offers to help before leaving. Lafayette wishes to help, but Sam resists.

Eric comes knocking on Ginger's door, an she's more than happy to invite him in, though less than pleased to see her other houseguests. Eric commenders Ginger's coffin, taking Wila with him as he doesn't trust Pam and Tara not to kill her.

Bill thinks over his little talk with Lillith in lala land. He feels immortal, and it scares Jessica. He is her everything, and she fears losing him. Lillith died in the sun, and she begs him not to meet it, but meet it he does as all she can do is watch from inside. He embraces the light, and catches fire. He makes him way into the safety of the house and Jessica puts out hiss flames, as Bill struggles to understand.

Niall heads over to the fairy club, where something bad went down. There is blood everywhere. Niall channels what happened. And sees everyone slaughtered. He scans the blood, hearing the screaming. He finds Claude, and channels his thoughts, as he's too weak to talk. Claude begs for "the ulimate kindness," and Niall delivers it, turning him to dust.

Jason awakens jumpier than ever. Niall hasn't returned, and Sookie worries about his condition. He confesses he thinks he has a concussion, and has been hallucinating.  He tells her about his racist pep talk from their parents that made him a little extra crazy when he was suiting up to go after her. Sookie tells him that their parents were flawed, and knowing that doesn't mean that they don't love them.

Andy and Kevin look at the new anti-vamp items, bullets and firearms, and contacts, oh my. Holly asks if he plans on enforcing the vampire curfew, she's been having some late night snackers who've been scaring the heck out of her and sees his now teenaged babies. He offers to deal with her vampire problems personally and asks if she can take a ride with him.

Rikki warns Alcide that the cops are coming up, and he tells Martha that Emma needs to shift immediately. Alcide goes out to deal with the cops, who are determined to talk with Martha. Emma refuses to shift. Rikki isn't all that great with kids, or people in general ,and yells at Emma to shift, as Martha goes to talk with the cops. They decide to search the house, and they find Rikki inside with cute little Emma puppy. They apologize and leave. Rikki berates Alcide for taking Emma, Alcide lays down the law, and Martha tells her to bow down. Rikki begrudgingly does as an owl watches. Someone needs to put her down, she's obiously rabid, and likely to be Alcide's downfall.

Andy takes Holly out shooting, and she takes issue to his closeness. The girls shoot off their hand lasers, as Andy fumbles around with his parenting skills, and Holly softens a little. Andy asks to be her safe haven, even if that doesn't mean naked time and she doesn't say no.

Wila tries to talk to Eric in the coffin. Her mom left her father for a vampire, and that's what started this whole hatred. Wila makes it very clear that she too likes vampires, Eric sees it as a sympathetic ploy, but he's not biting. She notices he has the bleeds and Eric points out again that he's meant to be dead during the day. Wila wipes the blood from his ear, and tries to lick it clean, but Eric stops her and licks his fingers himself before asking a breathless Wila to put her tape back on.

Niall meets Ben in a field, who is still looking for the fairy club. He asks after survivors, but there are none. Niall tells him of the threat this vampire holds, and Ben realizes who Niall really is. Ben gushes a bit about Sookie, and Niall tells him that he came to the club to assemble an army, but found Ben instead. Ben agrees to join arms to protect her.

Bill prepares to leave, asking Jessica to stay. But Jessica cannot sit on her hands, knowing that he's putting himself in danger to save her. Bill plans to find the man who's responsible for synthecizing Tru Blood. Dr. Takahashi has a thing young girls, so he suggests she wear something inappropriate.

Newlin is overjoyed to see his former Missus,  but she's not there to save him. He ruined her life, and embarassed her. She's made plenty of money telling her story, but it doesn't lessen the hurt he's brought upon her. Looks like where Newlin and the Fellowship of the Sun left off, Sarah Newin picked up and ran with it. Steve laughs off Sarah's new position, but she has her path, and she's sticking to it. More than anything else I would love to see Sarah and Jason 2.0, but not today. The doctor comes asking Steve about Eric, and at first he claims to not know the stunning viking former Sheriff, but quickly changes his tune, and the doctor is very interested to hear what he has to say about him.

Jessica is noticed the second she enters Dr. Takahaski's classroom, and she easily gets some alone time with him afterwards. She asks for some private tutoring, and he easily jumps into her net.

A knock at Sookie's door turns out to be Bill. He's asking for her help to save the vampires she loves, and she opens the door for him against her better judgement. He tells her that he has seen the future, but she refuses to let him in. The normal vampire rules do not apply to him anymore. He comes in and manhandles her. Jason jumps at her screams, but Bill holds him off with his newfound powers. She begs him to leave, but he wants her blood synthecized to save everyone. Her blood can help him walk in the sun, but she refuses to reconsider, he's had all the blood she's willing to give him. She begs him to let her go, that before he was Billith she meant something to him, and she uses that bond for him to leave her alone. He does as shes asks and he tells her that she is now dead to him, but its fact that she's okay with. Maybe she's finally ready to write him off, please let he be ready. A Sookie and Bill 2.0 or 10.0 or whatever they are, I cannot stomach a revisiting!

Nicole and her friends at the VUS approach Alcide and his pack hoping to get on tape some shifting. They are hoping to push some other supernatural group out of the closet to help out the vampires, only the pack doesn't appreciate being watched. Rikki makes the first move and shifts killing members of the VUS. All hell breaks loose and Alcide is forces to shift and intervene to save Nicole. Sam uses the distraction to take back Emma, but when they see an injured Nicole they step in to assist her.

The Governor calls Eric, and Ginger answers his phone. Eric speaks with him, and he asks after his daughter. Eric doesn't let him talk with his daughter as he taunts him about the fate of his daughter. He tells him that he will kill her, he just hasn't decided how to yet, there are so many options. The Governor plays it up as they trace his "untracable" phone, but Eric hears that they've been found. When he goes back to Wila, Tara has taken the girl. Ginger is left behind to stall the Governor as Pam and Eric go after Tara and Wila. As hot as angry Eric is, I'm not loving the distance between he and Pam. And I'm back on the stake Tara train too, angry Tara is losing its appeal quickly.

Niall brings Ben back home to Sookie. Sookie and Jason try to process what happened, but Niall tells them he's certain it was Warlow, he has the blood to prove it. She blames herself for everyone's death, and Ben invades her thoughts. She scolds him for his invasion, and Niall reminds her of her manners. She goes back to cleaning up the mess she made tossing plates at Bill, and Ben offers to assist her. She wonders why she can feel him in her thoughts, when he wasn't able to feel the others. There's a simmering connection between the two of them, which makes me feel more and more like he and Warlow are connected. Niall feels Warlow again, and flashes out after him. He instead finds Nora, who is also looking for Warlow, when Jason is attacked.

Andy comes upon Bill in the graveyard. He's not pleased about enforcing the vampire curfew, when Bill spies a stuffed animal in the front seat of Andy's car. You can see the evil wheel spinning as Andy tells him that he has children now, not a puppy as Bill had originally thought. Bill walks away with a dirty little smirk on his face.

If Bill kills even one of those precous little fairy girls of Andy, he better be staked! And that concludes this week's episode! What are your thoughts?

True Blood Recap: The Sun

We open with a misty bridge, as Sookie dreams the fairy contract lights up. A figure comes out of the mist, a vampire...Warlow?

"Warlow" stops the speeding vehicle Jason is struggling to control. As Jason gets out of the car, pulling a gun on Warlow, only it isn't Warlow. It's his grandfather, and he has the knowledge to back up the claim, someone has been quite the peeping tom, err, concerned family member. It was all a test, which Jason clearly did not pass, with his loose lips. Jason tells him he's ready, but grandpa isn't so sure.

Pam tries to comfort Tara, but she isn't healing from her gunshot wound. Eric and Nora arrive, and Eric tries to remove the bullet but is unable to touch it. Using a broken bottle he's able to remove the silver bullet that emits UV light. Nora sits in shock that the humans are fighting back. Pam tries to talk some sense into everyone, of course the humans are fighting back, the Authority didn't give them any choice when they got rid of their only human accepted food source and that maybe they should be scared. She lashes out at Nora, but Eric has had enough, if the humans want war, he's willing to give it to them. Crazy, sexy, authoritive Eric. He tells Nora to scour the vampire bible for what Bill is, and walks out.

Jessica goes to a freaked out Bill, who's a blood mess, literally. He's feeling the pain of all the vampires being tortured and killed. He mentions a few of the ones he sees, including one being drug behind a truck before slips into a wide-eyed coma. He's walking in a field with the three aspects of Lillith, who are desperately in need of a bath and some landscaping. She, who's quite fetching all cleaned up, tells him that he can no longer be Bill Compton.

Arlene calls Sookie, waking her, because Merlotte's is overrun with customers, and you know she's still a waitress there, even though she is never there. Sookie promises to hurry. As Arlene frets with Terry, Patrick's pregnant wife walks in. She thinks Patrick ran off with some girl. Terry has a hard time putting into words what happened, and Arlene steps in, confirming her worst fears, which are much easier that explaining an Ifrit. She offers his wife what comfort she can.

Sookie walks to work, and tries to walk past the hot guy laying on the side of the road, but she can't. She "overhears" him say that the vampire smelled his blood, and she decides to take the half-fairy home. Because let's face it, she needs a new hot guy in her life since that spot is now sadly vacant. Sookie asks how he got away from his attacker. His microwave fingers saved him,  and he tries to compliment her, or is just really bad with the pick up lines before he passes out. Looks like Sookie isn't making it into work today.

Arlene seats a table, who aren't what they seem, while Lafayette plays dress up with Emma. One of the girls talks with Sam, she knows that Sam is a shifter and she wants him to come out to the world. Nicole is apart of the US Vampire unity society. She wants everyone to come out publically to take some of the heat off the vampires, because if they all came out together, then they can't kill everyone. As nice a thought as it is, Sam isn't willing to play. He's not feeling all too charitable cconsidering his girlfriend just died saving her daughter from the vampires. Nicole presses, and Sam lets her walk out, her requests falling on deaf ears.

Jessica paces as Bill stays in Lala land with Lillith. There is much work to do, Lillith insists. He asks if he is a god, but Lillith tells him there is only one  God, and he isn't it. Come on Bill focus, this isn't all about you! Jessica has a little visitor, some sort of blood prostitute. But the blood whore is a little wary of Bill's current state of comatose. She refuses, and tries to leave, but something brings her back to him in a exorcist contortionist way. Her blood floats out of her mouth and into Bill's, much to the horror of Jessica.

Sookie tends to her hot half-fairy patient. When she touches him, light transfers to him, and he awakens. She tells him it wasn't long ago she wanted to be rid of her light, she's sick of being different. He tries to offer her comfort, believeing her to be a good person. Because bad people never pick up strangers from the roadside, right? He thanks her for her hospitality, and tries to leave. Ben, we finally learn hot fairy guy's name,  takes his leave, and Sookie seems reluctant to have him leave. She tells him of a safe place for fairies, and no its not in her bed, its the fairy club.

Andy tries to reach Maurella in the field, at said fairy club, but she isn't answering. He knows nothing of babies, or fairies.

Jason brings his grandfather to Sookie's house to show him where Warlow was all misty as he tried to break in. In the bathroom grandpa jumps into the portal, and Jason, sweet simple Jason, tries to follow, but cannot. Grandpa comes back wet with ill tidings.

Sookie walks with Ben. He'd come to Bon Temps looking for something good. Ben asks if he can take Sookie out some time to repay her kindness. She tells him she's not ready for something romantical, and he overhears her thoughts about Bill. Not Eric, but Bill. When will the Bill lovefest end? When he asks about him, Sookie turns skittish and leaves him to find the club alone.

Nora reads from her vamppire bible, looking for answers. Pam is less than chipper, as she collects her blood. She asks after Eric, but Nora doesn't know where he is. Nora tells Pam to tell Eric she stepped out when he returns, she discovered that humans lead Lillith to her death, but Pam claims to want nothing to do with Eric, that she's backing off like he told her to. Nora tells Pam that Eric didn't tell her about her to protect her. That he loves her and was most proud of her, that he spoke to Nora often of her.

Eric watches the Governor's house looking for a way in. Wila, his daughter wants to get out, but daddy is firmly against it. She instead gets his next appointment, which happens to be Eric in disguise. Eric and the Governor talk around in circles about vampires and whooping cranes, until Eric gets right down to business. Eric tries to glamour the Governor, but with special contacts the Governor remains unglamoured, and Eric is taken to "camp."

Jason introduces Sookie to their fairy grandpa Niall. They sit down for a spaghetti dinner as Jason babbles on and on comparing Niall to Boba Fett, until Niall reveals that Warlow is already here somewhere. Warlow is obsessed with their pure bloodline, they're fairy royalty. Niall has been tracking Warlow for centuries, after he killed their familly. They have a secret weapon, their microwave fingers can go supernova, but because Sookie is only half fae, once she does it she will lose her light, and be just human. Sookie worries since her light has been on the fritz, but Niall shows her how to get it back in balance.

The governor's guards lead Eric outside, and he toys with them, before taking flight. Apparently they don't know everything about vampires, because none of them knew vampires could fly.

Sam comes home to a sleeping Emma. Lafayette asks what type of trouble he's in, but he doesn't want to talk about it. Alcide, Danielle and Martha come. Martha worries about Emma, but Sam won't turn her over. Luna wanted him to keep her, and he intends to. Alcide wants to take custody of Emma, since she's a wolf, and Luna's on camera action puts them all in danger, but Sam still refuses. Emma comes out at the commotion, and Martha scoops her up. Danielle shows just how mouthy of a bitch she is, and Alcide manhandles Sam. Danielle takes out Lafayette as Nicole and the other members of the the US Vampire unity society watch and take pictures of the altercation. I really hope that Lafayette picks himself off the ground, remembers he's a brujo and kicks the crap out of Danielle.

Eric comes Wila, and she willingly invites him through her window. I'm not sure anyone could have turned him down, not when he's all floaty.

Jessica prays over Bill, unsure if he is now god or something else. She prays for Jason, and Sookie, even though she may have tried to stake him. She even prays for Eric, and Pam to give her the courage to let happiness in, Tara to find what she's looking for, Sam and Lafayette, and Arlene because they're good people, and even Hoyt whereever he is, because a part of her still loves him. And Bless Bill, and bring him back because she needs him, because they need each other.

Lillith tells Bill to save them all, and he comes back to himself, alone. The TV comes on, WATV shows some of the horrors happening to vampires. Jessica and Bill watch as a vampire is being dragged by a truck, just as Bill had told her about. He can see the future. And he sees all the vampires we love burning, including his precious Jessica.

True Blood Recap: Who Are You Really?

Huzzah it’s the start of season 6! Since the True Blood: Live from the Set already warmed us up let’s just jump in.

It picks up right where season 5 left off with the rise of Billith. Eric and Sookie barely escape into an elevator, and Billith goes ape shit trapping them inside. Sookie’s microwave fingers and Eric’s vampire strength are no match for the elevator.

Nora, Jason, Jessica, Pam and Tara form a rag tag team, none too pleased to be stuck together. They don’t know Nora, and they are all leery of one another.

Luna makes Sam promise to keep Emma, and dies. No time to shed tears though, they’re still being pursued.

After an explosion, Jason and Pam worry about their loved ones, but Nora keeps them moving, because there is nothing they can do for them at the moment. Eric arrives, the perpetual white knight and off they go on his black stalli…er SUV. Jessica inquires about Bill, but Sookie only shakes her head. The group watches as a bloody Billith emerges from the flame and takes flight.

Cue the intro music…

The group worries about the bloody “naked evil Superman,” as they listen to the governor of Louisiana declare to protect the humans of the state, not the vampires on the radio. Without Tru Blood factories, human deaths are on the rise. Vampires are to remain indoors or underground until sunrise. All vampire establishments are to be closed, and all citizens are encouraged to stock up on wooden bullets.  The war against vampires is declared and Jason is the only one in the car happy about it. Nora sees the error of their past ways, how their actions directly caused this catastrophe and Pam finally learns that Nora is Eric’s sister. Eric tells Pam to stand at his back, or move out of the way. Eric asks Nora if there is anything in the book of Lillith that could explain what they saw. Nora wants to destroy Lillith at all costs, which breaks Jessica’s heart at the realization that means the death of Bill.  Jason can’t be Jessica’s shoulder to cry on. He’s still full of vampire hate due to his parents’ ghosts messing with his head. And Tara tries to comfort Pam, though she claims to not want it. Pam loves Eric, and the more he pushes her away the more pissed she’s become. Sookie offers Jessica some comfort. She tells her she saw Bill die, and be reborn into something else. Without Bill, Jessica fears she’s alone, but she isn’t. Sookie tells her she’s there for her. Nora wishes to speak to Jason, but Eric insists that Jason knows little, but he knows about Warlow. Nora brain rapes him into telling her about Warlow, and Jason pulls a gun on Nora. Eric taunts Jason, but Nora doesn’t actually know Warlow. He was a disciple of Lillith, and Sookie sides with the vampires as Jason continues to threaten to shoot the vampires, and let’s face it Jason is acting bat shit crazy. Jessica gets summoned by Bill, and she tries to resist him, but is unable to. Eric physically stops her, and the results aren’t pretty. She vomits blood all over him, as the summoning tries to rip her apart. As she writhes in pain Sookie tells Eric to let her go, afraid it’s going to kill her. Eric tells Pam to take her progeny to Fangtasia, and he and Nora take flight, following Sookie and Jessica.

Alcide eats the flesh of JD to cement his claim as packmaster. Danielle offers herself to Alcide, and everyone begins stripping down and wolfing out.

Andy sits outside. Arlene gives him an earful about his Fairy babies. Andy admits he doesn’t know how to care for his babies, and has all the fears a new dad has. Arlene softens hearing his fears, and tells him there although there are bad times, being a parent is the greatest of joys. Terry and Arlene give diapering advice, and the baby in Andy’s arms screams, not easing his fears in the least.

Sam returns to Merlotte’s with a sleeping Emma in his arms. Something seems amiss, as he investigates he finds Lafayette is protecting the place. He questions the blood covering Sam, and is less than forth coming. Lafayette tries to drink away the memories. He knows that Luna was Steve Newlin, and he’s not the only one. It was all caught on film, and Emma tells him that her mama’s dead. Lafayette takes on the role of caretaker, and makes Emma something to eat, after swearing to keep Sam’s secret. Poor Sam has a little bit of a breakdown.

Jason hitchhikes, and is picked up by none other than a mysterious Rutger Hauer. He figured no one would pick him up covered in blood, but Rutger tells him, that a little blood never scared him. When Jason tells him where he’s going, Rutger knows of the town. He tries to get Jason to open up about his family, and open up he does.

Jessica and Sookie reach Bill’s residence, and find Billith’s bloody footprints everywhere. Armed with only sticks they follow the prints. Finally finding him out back dressed in a chair. Nora does a fly by and gets tossed into the rail, followed by a flying Eric who comes in hot with a stake, but Bill catches him before he can use it, forcing Sookie to stake Bill. He pulls the stake from his chest, intent on talking. He retracts his fangs and beckons Eric to do the same. He tells them that he means them no harm, but if they attack him again he will retaliate. He is Bill Compton, but he is also something more. He promises that the man that put the fear in their eyes is gone. Sookie tells him that she felt Bill die, and that if he means what he says that he should leave. Jessica turns feral in protection of her maker and tells them to leave. And with Bill adding his menace to hers, leave they do.

The senator meets with Miss Suzuki at a bottling plant. He wishes to partner with the Tru Blood owners. She doesn’t quite trust him, as they serve very different “people.” He offers her the bottling facility free of charge until their facilities are up and running, anonymously of course. He hopes with an alternative blood supply the vampires will fall back in line, and she agrees to the deal.

Alcide shifts back, and Danielle isn’t far behind. Rikki catches the two in a liplock, and stakes her claim on Alcide, but instead of sending Danielle away she calls her back and gives her an even more passionate kiss than she gave Alcide before making Danielle fall to her knees and pleasuring Alcide. An Alpha bitch has just been established, Rikki is willing to share as long as she’s number one.

Pam brought Tara back to Fangtasia as she was told. Tara’s dislike of Eric hasn’t changed any and she doesn’t understand the relationship between Pam and Eric. The more Tara pushes, the harder Pam pushes back. Pam mocks her and her idyllic thoughts about their newfound relationship. She and Tara were only together a night, whereas Pam and Eric were together a 100 years. Eric being an ass isn’t going to change all that was built between them in that time. The club comes under raid, and when Pam tries to use her charms against the swat team it backfires. Tara tries to stand up for her maker, against Pam’s wishes and gets shot in the gut for her effort.

Eric offers Sookie his fortune to help her go into hiding, but she tells him that it won’t matter, she’s had lots of Bill’s blood so he could find her where ever she went. Eric tells her he never expected her to save him from Bill, and to stake him no less. She doesn’t quite know who she is anymore, and he tells her she’ll always be that girl in the white dress that first walked into his bar. Which elicits more than an awwww, Sookie always brings out the softer side of Eric. He gives her back her home, written in his blood and promises to send the proper paperwork later. She tells him that she wants to be that girl again as she rescinds her invitation into her home. Eric doesn’t try to resist, only softly says a goodbye. Nora decides that Bill must be dealt with and wishes to use Sookie against Bill, but Eric warns her against it. Sookie isn’t just Bill’s weakness, and Nora realizes for the first time that Eric loves her too.

Andy’s little fairies are growing rapidly. Extremely rapidly scaring the heck out of Andy, when a toddler daughter awakens him.

Bill warms some Tru Blood for Jessica, and things almost seem like normal until Jessica drops her cup. He uses his mind to save the cup and its contents. She asks him if he knew he could do that, and he admits he did not. Jessica confesses that he almost tore her apart when he summoned her and that she feared what she would find. Bill tells her that he isn’t a monster, that he doesn’t want to be one but he doesn’t understand his powers or why he’s there. He doesn’t want to be evil, but he needs her to help him stay good, to tell him the truth when things start to get bad. Jessica willingly takes on the job to ensure his redemption. Seriously, we’re redeeming Bill again.

Jason continues to spill his guts, worrying that he’s been too hard on Sookie, that his dead parents are making him racist and crazy. Rutger tells him that he can’t keep Warlow away from Sookie, and only then does Jason figure out that something isn’t right with this picture. Turns out Rutger Hauer is none other than Warlow. Jason tries to grapple with Warlow in the car, but Warlow simply disappears, leaving Jason in a careening car.

Bill has some sort of awful acid flashback, interrupting his reading. Hearing his name, he follows the sounds finding a blood covered Lillith. Not just one, but three, and the three converge into him.
